We visited this Saturday and had an excellent experience. We had several items at our table of six. Stating with the Octopus two ways it was incredible a must try. Also others had the Lamb shank that fell off the bone. Also tried the Burrata and the Steak. Everything was excellent. Service was very attentive. This a neighborhood gem that is a must try!!!

A cozy, familiar place, excellent Italian food from the hands of Ivo, 100% Italian, chef and owner, who always welcomes us with so much affection. The food is authentic Italian, the waitress Katerina is Italian. It feels like being in Italy. Sometimes there is live music and karaoke. I definitely recommend it. We have been clients for several years now, and everyone we take or recommend continues to come back. Without a doubt a place to eat delicious food and have a pleasant time.

I am so happy that I finally found him! I’ve been tracking Chef Ivo down for almost 10 years. I used to love a fairly known restaurant in Miami which I used to go very often and I’d always order something from the specials of the day and be pleasantly surprised. That was my favorite restaurant ever, until they decided to have a fixed menu and the chef left. That’s when my saga started. I had no idea about the name of the chef, but to make a longer story short, it was Chef Ivo Mazzon. I finally had the pleasure of eating at his restaurant and meeting him. The food was amazing as expected. My wife and I are so happy lol

This is the best restaurant in Miami you've never heard of. Don't let the location scare you away, this restaurant is worth the visit; Your palate will thank you. This small venue restaurant has a menu that includes Italian favorites, and a few fusion surprises that are sure to delight. We tried the burrata, escargot, and polenta appetizers - all delicious and left us wanting more (if only we had room!).

Such a charming restaurant with great food and a really friendly team. Loved the live musician - made a fun atmosphere. We went on a Wednesday and we had the set of 5 dishes selected by Chef Ivo Mazzon and it was a delicious (and filling!) composition. Wine and tiramisu was great too. We have been to D'Ivo multiple times now. The quality of food and service is excellent. The owner and staff really are passionate about the restaurant, wine, and the food they serve. They are creative in the kitchen and in entertainment. There is free parking in front of the restaurant. Not too many tables so it feels very cozy and romantic. Such a great place with moderate prices for really excellent food and service.

Amazing hidden local gem! The food is incredible and fresh. Very kind staff also. It is in a very random parking lot that you can easily pass by, but don't let that stop you. I love their soups, Branzino and all of the dessert is really good. Everyone always tastes fresh and high quality which is important for me

THE BEST FINDING! Just by fortune we found this incredible restaurant. Stepped out a friend’s exhibit in a Gallery in Little River, and not wanting to drive…VOILA! In a truly quiet cul de sac street is this very busy charming place. Immediately greeted by the owner and chef’s wife, not expecting anything and finding wow! She’s Colombian, he’s Italian, what better combination. I wasn’t really hungry but couldn’t leave without trying what the menu had for us. Ordered the homemade truffle tortellini with pecorino that were done to perfection, truly al dente and very delicate and bold at the same time. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming, can’t wait to come back! Honest prices and fun informal atmosphere. So hard to find places like this in Miami, no wonder their reviews are consistently ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Thank you!

The food at D’Ivo 79 Cucina is delicious and we finished everything on our plates! The chef uses fresh, quality ingredients and makes the pastas. We tried 2 pinsas- one was the Dolce Picante, which was sweet and spicy, perfectly balanced, and a must try. The chef even came to our tables and served us some of our food. It is a friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be coming again and especially want to continue supporting small businesses in Miami.
