Went for lunch at 2pm on a Saturday. We drove all the way from Pensacola for my birthday. The wait was 20 minutes but it took around 30 to get us seated. Tried the Domo Chashu Black ramen and some sashimi. The ramen was decent but I have had better. I would rate it a 7.5/10. Broth was rich and flavorful but it is no Ichiran. The sake and maguro sashimi portions were generous but they were cut too thick! It was fresh though but I would rate it 6.5/10, but I am comparing them to Ora King harasu cut and Chu-toro (not Akami) so, there is that. Husband had the bulgogi which was not impressive at a 6/10 but then again one shouldn't really order a Korean dish from a Japanese restaurant.

The food and service is always top tier!

I was visiting Destin from the nyc area and I was craving for some good Asian food after vacationing here for 7 days…wow this place tops some of the best restaurants in nyc including Nobu. Their ramen broth is full of flavor and u can tell the broth is real. And the DOM sushi roll plate reminds me of the favor I grew up with. Thank you for making the last night in Destin very special. Also my daughter loved the Katsu curry. 감사합니다.

Man this place was outstanding. It was actually the very last restaurant I ate before I hit the road back home from my vacation. Me and my cousin ordered a Thai delight roll and 2 Domo Rolls and we were left speechless I swear. Please the chili oil they have there it is fantastic. And the restaurant staff was super friendly, and very attentive

Immaculate vibes and fantastic food. The Sprouting Slurp tonkotsu, Ragin' Godzilla sushi roll, and fried cheesecake were all exactly what I was looking for.

We enjoyed our dinner here!! Everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the pork gyoza, beef yaki udon, and the dragon roll. Portion sizes are generous and the sushi rolls are huge. Our only complaint was it was difficult to get the attention of a waitress.

The. Best. In. Town. Have now tried some of everything thing here: Ramen, rice bowls, bento box at lunch, sushi, various appetizers. Literally not a bad bite in this restaurant. The Japanese/Korean fusion flavor profile is in every dish and perfectly executed. Try anything on the menu, you will not be disappointed. And I love Bulgogi, a Korean dish, and this place has the absolute best anywhere! Smaller restaurant so nicely intimate but casual. And excellent service from the moment you enter..."Domo!" as you walk in the door and friendly, smiling server's who keep an eye on you without hovering. Perfect dining experience!

Incredible. It was heaven! Lord have mercy, so I ordered the Tokyo Katsu Curry. I haven't been to Japan, but I've watched a lot of videos and I know Japanese curry is a staple. Anyways this was incredible. Rich sauce with deep flavor and perfectly cooked vegetables. It went amazingly with the chicken that was fried to perfection. The portion was enormous which I'm not complaining, because I ate it all. I was excited to try more things on the menu so I ordered the Deja Vu Roll which, amazing. The soup was also out of this world. Ordered the Daikon/beef soup and man that was so flavorful and rich. Service was also amazing, quick ordering and food was out quickly. It was a Saturday afternoon and they were efficient. Would highly recommend. Wish I would have come here sooner, I have been missing out!

I travel a lot and make a point of finding good ramen when I'm on the road. I won't say that their domo chashu ramen is the best tonkotsu I've had, but it's really really good and holds it's own against the better places I've been in California. I've been here twice this week and it's been very consistent. You will not go wrong here if you like tonkotsu. Also the wait staff is excellent - i think I had 3 or 4 different servers come by to make sure I had everything I needed. Super friendly. Countertops and floors are all very clean. The price is what I would expect for this level of quality. Edit: I came here last night and it was great, but tonight something is off. I sit at the bar and it took over 30 min to get my order in - then when it came out the Domo Chashu Black was really disappointing. I'm questioned whether this is even a tonkotsu base because it's so thin. The chashu was also about half the quantity that's usually there. To add insult to injury, there was uncooked ramen noodle in it. I told the waitress and she was very apologetic and said they're was a new chef and he mistakenly used beef broth - but that's a really bad screw up for a place with such a good reputation. It shouldn't have made it out of the kitchen - it's one of their signature dishes. They graciously comped the meal, so I'm just chalking it up to an off night. I will be back - but the food and service loses a star for the experience.

The food was delicious , we got the squid salad , three different sushi rolls , and kimchi. Everything was fresh and well executed. The server was very friendly and patient. They don’t take reservations so expect a line to be seated (especially if you want inside during summer time).

The food here was excellent! The DOMO Chashu was delicious and so was their variety of sushi. Service was swift and friendly. Ali was our server and she was so nice. We recommend going to sushi here! Best sushi in Destin 😊

We went to eat at an oddball time around 4pm. This place stayed busy the entire time! We ordered two sushi rolls. It was so good …but don’t make the mistake we did, both rolls were fried! We got full real quick. We also ordered the beef bulgogi bowl…it was good but on the sweeter side. We also ordered the A5 wagyu creamy udon dish. It was to die for! My husband thought it was too rich but I found it delicious. The matcha tiramisu is very good. The top layer of matcha can be quite strong. But it pairs well with the rest of the cake!

Me and my family always eat ramen at all the places we visit and this one was for sure a hit! The food was great and the portion sizes were big! Also the service was awesome shout out to our server Jazz! Oh and not to mention outdoor seating which accommodated our doggo cooper. Definitely check this place out!

Super slow service, have to wait your food forever , even they forgot about your order

I guess we had a bed night. Inside was full, so we sat outside. Took 5-10 minutes before ANYONE came to our table. So when the waiter did show up - we ordered drinks and dinner at the same time. It took quite a while for our food to arrive, and it did not arrive at the same time. My dinner arrived about 5 minutes after the rest of my family was served. Someone from the kitchen brought the food - not our waiter. Waiter only dropped by one more time, and that was at the end of the night so we could ask for our check. So service was nonexistent. Food was okay - nothing special. Will not return.

Our family enjoyed this sushi restaurant on the evening July 28, 2024. They were busy but service was running smoothly. Our food was delicious, fresh and prepared exactly as listed on the menu. We really loved the creamy shrimp appetizer and the samurai roll. The cheese Rangoon were also delicious and fresh. The staff was extremely helpful and even acknowledged how busy it was and that there may be a delay. Contrary to the review by A.B., we were eyewitnesses to his interaction. He arrived at 8:30 PM with his wife and two children and he was very rude from the get-go. He was inconsiderate to the hostess who was clearly working diligently to serve customers. I would expect another adult to handle alleged miscommunication and grievances in a more professional manner. Care should be taken when arriving 30 minutes prior to closing at any busy restaurant in a tourist area on Sunday evening.

Called the place and asked to make a reservation and was told as long as we get there by 8:30 we should be fine. We dressed up and showed up at 7:55. The flustered not so inviting hostess welcomed us with a “HOLD ON” and walked towards the kitchen to ask another lady if she can turn us around because there were a few ppl ahead of us and she didn’t want to stay late. Shame! They literally refused to sit us and she said maybe try (naming another restaurant) only by following it up with “they never have any ppl or lines” My kids were hungry and we couldn’t make it in time to any other nice restaurant.

The restaurant was PACKED and I sat at the bar but still had phenomenal service. Everything I tried was phenomenal. The real standout was the Monkey D Luffy roll. Flame kissed waygu along with caviar and gold flakes make the roll really stand out! The rolls here are also huge! So even though they seem expensive it totally makes sense for the size and quality of ingredients. Everyone around me was raving about the taste of their food. I’ll be honest my picture does not do this plate justice. I saw plate after plate kitchen looking absolutely gorgeous.

Great food, but very lazy and slow service. We never got straws for our water, and waited on everything for a very long time while staff members were sitting at the bar on their phones. Good food though!

Always have a great experience here. Food is excellent. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. It can get very busy, and sometimes parking is an issue. That would be our only complaint.

Wow, of course I like Korean food, and I also like Japanese food, but this is one of the best Japanese restaurants I've tried since coming to the US!! The atmosphere is local, the food is delicious, and the service is good. I recommend it!!

I literally never leave reviews but I had this place while we were visiting family in Destin and I can’t stop thinking about how this was the best sushi I’ve ever had and everything we have where I live isn’t even close and it makes me so sad, lol. Best sushi I’ve ever had, there isn’t even a close second. I’m surprised they don’t have locations everywhere.

For Destin, the best Asian Fusion in the area. Service was excellent and the vibe was great. I'm not saying it's Nobu but for the redneck Riviera...its a home run!

Best sushi and Japanese curry I've had since I lived in Japan

Oh my goodness, the owner of this restaurant is amazing, the food of this place is amazingly awesome!!! The stuff is very friendly and professional 👌 😀 we had an amazing dinner experience there with our family.

We ordered Ginger Salad, Creamy Shrimp Tempura, Pork Gyoza, Sushi, Calamari, Beef Bugogi Bowl, Katsu Don, Matcha Tiramisu, Fried Ice Cream & Cream Brulé. Everything was okay considering the kitchen was closing within 15 minutes of our arrival. Service was good, however, they completely forgot about their customers seated outside until it was brought to their attention.

Sushi was phenomenal, beef bulgogi was phenomenal, ramen was god awful. I have no idea how they can even serve ramen that bland. So if you go here, order anything but the ramen. You won’t be disappointed with anything else. That’s the only reason I had to knock it down to 4 stars.

Honestly, nothing to say other than it's the best Japanese restaurant I've been to since leaving Japan. This place would even be considered top-notch in Japan. We had; Apps- Creamy Shrimp, Domo Bun, Cream Cheese Wontons. All amazing, the pork Domo Buns were stupid delicious. Entrees- Domo Chashu Black, Aloha Roll, Deja Vu Roll. Again stupid delicious. I don't know what they did to the two sushi rolls we had but they were inexplicably scrumptious! I also had the Lilikoi Soju, could have drank 10 of those they were so good. We live in Pensacola right now, but I might buy a house down here just for this restaurant. Oishii!

My FAVORITE sushi restaurant in the area. I always get the crunchy shrimp roll and the chicken fried rice. Lunch prices are so good and the food is incredible every time. Service is wonderful and everyone is so sweet. 10/10 in every aspect.

Ordered Togo, and the sushi was some of the best I've ever had to-go. It is always hit or miss when ordering seafood this way, and this was definitely a hit! Can't wait to go in person. Have since gone in person and it was amazing as well!

July 5th. They were extremely busy but luckily as a solo diner. I only had a 15 minute wait vs an hour. The a5 wagyu nigiri was perfect and so was the domo black charisu. The Korean bbq chicken was also great. My server Ashley B was awesome. Even though they were incredibly busy she was attentive and kept my drink full. Top tier will be back next time I'm in destin. I may even go tomorrow before I leave

Don’t sleep on this place! We had about 10 items from the menu and they were all INCREDIBLE!!!! We went Tuesday night and cannot stop talking about it. The wings, ginger salad and goku ramen were my fav. But also, the best crunchy shrimp sushi roll I’ve ever had. My 3 year old at the ramen and loved it! We had a party of 6 and the service was great and cheerful. Kids loved the theme. We will be back.

Nice hidden gem, food came out fairly quickly. Appetizers could have used some additional seasoning but was good. Level 3 spice was good 🔥.

This was my favorite restaurant in all of Destin, and we tried all the top rated places, prob the best Ramen I have ever had. (I've been all over America) It's funny because this wasn't on any Instagram or suggested post,, we just drove by and decided to try it. I had the Goku rib ramen which was out of this world. We also had the Nagasaki, Shoyu and Domo Chicken. I can't remember the name but we had a Wagyu sushi roll that was delicious also. The coconut Nigori was so good too!

What a great find. We happened to try this place out based on Google reviews and it did not disappoint. In fact it exceeded expectations! From the start, all the staff were friendly and attentive. All staff appeared to rotate around the restaurant and each member came by our table at least twice!! The food...delicious is an understatement. The Domo bun has a yummy sweet and sour balance of flavors and is a great starter to any course. Our family had everything from the ramen, upon, soba, and bulgogi bowls. Every single item was delicious! A must try if you're in Destin. We'll be back next time!

Our family loves shrimp tempura, pork gyoza, ramen and sushi. Domo Izakaya exceeded our expectations, and it was our favorite dinner on vacation. Everything was so fresh and flavorful, and we absolutely loved the Miso Sexy rolls. The sprouting slurp ramen was simply the best.

A fantastic place to eat, food is amazing. Had a bit of a wait to get in, but that is common around Destin during the summer season. The menu is pretty impressive, almost daunting but not quite. The potions are massive, and the taste is next level. It's a manic place and service is a bit all over the place, dishes arrived out of sequence, some didn't show up, or starters arrived after we've almost finished our entrée, this is probably the only let down in the restaurant except it's size, which for a popular eatery was very small. If you can put aside the random service and the long wait to get in, it's worth it for a great meal.

First time here while visiting Destin, this place was recommended to us. Food was delicious, we had chicken and shrimp yakisoba noodles and some sushi. Everything was very good, we are definitely coming back again.

I give this place a high rating based on the food. The service is not great because they don't have enough servers, but the food definitely speaks for itself. The chicken ramen is good, and so is the sushi.

Such a fantastic find! Lunch specials are as low as $12. There is a wide range of food options in both recipe and pricing. Google’s pre-set price range is not wide enough. The most expensive item on the menu is 40-something and the lowest is 7 or 8 dollars, but that’s because A5 wagyu beef is an option 😂. Truly I was so satisfied with the quality of food for price (especially in Destin)! Service was also great. Katie was patient and helpful in making our menu choices, and Jazz was happy to share more about the restaurant when we asked. Turns out it’s only been here under two years. Quality is so good I hope they are around for many many more to come. We were on vacation, but I wish we were more local so we could go here more often. Can’t wait to come back on our next trip to Destin.

This place was absolutely incredible! They take pride in their craft. The sushi was extremely fresh and well prepared. The ramen bowls were delicious. Everything came out very fast. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere felt authentic to the culture yet very modern and fun. They even have tvs around the restaurant playing videos of sushi and other Asian dishes being made. The bathrooms were spotless. Everything felt very clean and comfortable. Our family of four had a very large amount of food and drinks… I was a bit worried about the bill but it was extremely reasonable pricing. We will definitely be coming back!!

Incredible little ramen spot! The broth was so flavorful, the pork chasu was tender, and the whole ramen bowl was just delicious! We also had 2 sushi rolls and they were also very very good and tasted fresh. We are here traveling from out of state and this place was our favorite out of all the places we ate at! Best restaurant in Destin. The dishes are perfect from top to bottom: presentation, preparation, flavor. My favorite is the Yoba Udon noodle bowl. I also have the kimchi every time I come. Whatever I get, I’m always impressed.

I had an exceptional dining experience at this ramen restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the cozy ambiance and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu offers a fantastic variety of ramen options, each more tempting than the last. I opted for the Goku ramen, and it was absolutely delicious – the broth was rich and flavorful, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the toppings were fresh and abundant. The attention to detail in both the presentation and taste was impeccable. Additionally, the service was prompt and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. This is, without a doubt, the best ramen I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

By far, one of the best ramen spots you'll find in the US. It was busy when we arrived but was quickly seated after about 10m of waiting. The food might take a bit but it's so worth the wait. The waitresses were all very kind and helpful! I will most definitely be visiting again.

Finally Takoyaki made right! If I could find good Onigiri too, it'd be perfect! I highly recommend this restaurant for those who like Japanese fusion foods.

The food here was amazing. The service was quick and friendly. The place was very clean and well organized. We were able to get situated and our food fairly quickly. The servers were very consistent and friendly. There were wide selections of food and drinks- even vegetarian and kid friendly. We usually aren't quick to leave reviews but this stop was definitely worth a review. We will definitely be coming back next time we're in town.

We got in kinda late and had a great experience, ARE service was great and the atmosphere was good too, WE had 3 sushi rolls and the fried vegetables, KFC wings, and miss soup and it was all great, I will defintly be back soon, thank you for great service

Amazing! The domo chasu ramen was amazing and so garlicky. The rnb music is kind of weird for the setting but everything was amazing. 10-10 would recommend. I need to try the Naruto ramen next.

Absolutely amazing. Waiters were kind, attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. Sushi was INCREDIBLE. Best sushi I’ve had in a long time. My girls loved the chicken teriyaki, as well. Again, absolutely amazing.

Waited for 40 minutes to pick up a food delivery order. Not only did I miss the opportunity to make other deliveries but it affects my on time rating. I've never had to wait that long. The staff was rude and acted like they could care less. If this happens again. I will not make deliveries for this restaurant again. I just dropped the order off and I was 16 minutes late.

The ambiance was warm and inviting. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. There was a delay in our food and the server apologized for the delay and kindly offered us a complimentary dessert from the menu. We ordered the cheesecake which was a delightful end to our meal. Best place we went in Destin. We had to wait awhile for our food, but they gave us a complimentary dessert unprompted. Everyone was very friendly. The sushi was great, and the Takoyaki was delicious. The fried cheesecake that they gave us was amazing.

After seeing rave reviews we gave this place a try. It unfortunately wasn’t a great experience. We waited for a hostess for 10 mins and they never brought our drinks until we asked about them at least 20 mins later. The food was okay, not great. The best thing we had was the fried cheesecake. Maybe having one waitress to a table would be better. Anytime you needed something you have to try to catch one of the servers flying by, if you could.

Fantastic value for the quality of the sushi. The rolls were very large and they have an amazing variety on the menu. It is a sushi lover’s dream! The service was also fantastic. Highly recommend the Cobra Kai roll but you can’t go wrong with anything in their extensive menu.

Party of four... Didn't know who our server truly was for we had three different people at our table. Food was good and no issues. Three ordered sushi and I ordered the ramen. The sushi came first and the ramen later. They did not coordinate bringing the food all at once.
