My daughter and I really loved our meal. She has the Horchata which was fabulous. We ordered guacamole and it was fresh made. I had two flour shrimp tacos. The shrimp were big and cooked perfectly. My daughter had the beef enchilada meal and said it was the best she’s had. We ordered Flan for dessert and it was also the best we’ve had. A “no frills” ambience with good service and great food!

Don Chuy Mexican Taqueria - Cambridge MD. We arrived on a Saturday at 4:00 p.m. and found the atmosphere to be nice and clean. We ordered Margaritas and Chips and Salsa, and they were both good. It was a quick stop from the beach during a long drive home.

This place was clean. We were greater at the door when we came in by a friendly waitress. Nice selection of meals. When it arrived it surprised us how BIG the portions were! Needless to say we filled 3 take out containers after we had eaten our fill. Had enough to feed three of us later.

Everything was great tasting, friendly staff, and quick service.

The best Mexican restaurant in Cambridge IMO. Everything was so delicious and I will be coming back here again soon!

If you want real Mexican food this is it. The staff is quick and attentive. The makes are traditional Mexican fare. I like it hot but then can mild it down for you if that's your things.

Excellent food and great service !

We loved our food. The special was a Hawaiian burrito and it was fabulous. Chips and salsa were above average.

Our experience here has always been good. A year later and I will never come back. I ordered a side of refried beans and they charged me $5.00. For that price, they should have tortillas with it. The other Mexican restaurants charge under $3 for a side of beans.

Yummmm! We celebrated our friends birthday here and they made it a special day to remember with a little treat for her. Good food for a great price. Staff was very friendly and kind. More vegetarian options would be great!

Came on a Wednesday night two hours before closing. Staff were friendly and very fast, and they didn't mind me reading a book and eating slowly. I enjoyed the casual welcoming atmosphere. And cheap beer!

Food was terrible. Don't order beef items. Their beef sucks.

Workers did not acknowledge me as I stood there for minutes waiting to pick up food. They acted as if they didn't see me. Very disappointed when I got home with the food. The food was bland. am not going to pull the race card, but please know I won't be returning for more than one reason.

Lunch with my sister. Pork carnitas for me. Absolutely delicious. We will definitely go back.

Don Chuy is amazing! We split a giant Marg, had an incredible chimi and I had the largest portions I’ve ever received for a fajita! It was great! As for the fajita meat - the chicken and steak were tender, tasted great, but the real start was the perfectly seasoned Chorizo! I can’t wait to come back!

Food was decent. Most of the staff does not know Spanish, it was a little bit challenging to communicate as no one in our group knew more than basis words. I would recommend to look at menu online and decide before going in.

So the service was great. The food was amazing. No lie, the guacamole was the best I have had from a restaurant. 100% recommend. The price was very fair especially for the food I got.

The most authentic Mexican restaurant

The staff, the food, the service all made me want to get a job at Chesapeake College and move into an abode within walking distance of Don Chuy. I cannot tell you the last time I had a real taco 🌮. I'm not exaggerating when I say it's been years. Crispy shell, perfectly cooked meat, all of the fixings... I'm getting hungry just thinking about it. I'm from Decatur, Georgia but I am going to return to that store one day. My friend was excited to find they had white cheese with jalapenos. She lives in Delaware and no Mexican restaurant there has it. We loved it!!!

What a great place to eat! The family run business has some of the best food I’ve found in Cambridge MD. Every time we visit the friends this is one of our stops. Never disappointed always enjoyed. So if you ever passing through Cambridge MD make this a dinner or lunch stop you will enjoy.

This place is amazing. The food was delicious, service was great, even the kids meals were great. My kids said it was the best chicken fingers and fries they ever had (and they have had chicken fingers and fries from A LOT of different places). The margarita was delicious and so was the chips and salsa. My only complaint is I don’t live closer to this place. Highly recommend.

Super tasty and affordable food . You'll see in the pictures that the platters are big. And all the dishes are fresh and and authentic. Our waitress was excellent too . She ensured our order was on point and made some accommodations so my toddler could share my plate. The restaurant is very clean and the outdoors seating area is big. -------- La comida es rica y barata. Como ven en las fotos, las bandejas son grandes. Y todos los platos son frescos y auténticos. Además el servicio es bueno. Nuestra camarera se aseguró de que nuestro pedido estuviera bien e hizo algunos arreglos para que mi hija pudiera compartir mi plato. El restaurante es muy limpio y la zona de estar al aire libre es grande.

My favorite is the pineapple with beef, chicken and shrimp. Always so good!! Customer friendly as well!

Great food and service for 14 people! We’re spending the weekend in Cambridge, celebrating our 40th anniversary with friends and family and we’re glad we picked Don Chuy’s. The waiter had a great sense of humor and handled our large group perfectly! They had a great Margarita selection and every one we ordered was delicious. As for the Don Chuy margarita, I loved mine! Good luck picking your entree because they had so many choices. My husband and I both enjoyed #109 Camarones al Mojo de Ajo: Marinated shrimp in our special garlic sauce recipe, served with rice and salad. All of the food came out hot and relatively at the same time. The food was delicious and priced reasonably. We give it five stars and would definitely return if we were in the area again!

Lemon wedges were on the thin side but the service and food were fantastic.

Awesome service! My husband enjoyed the margaritas and the especial burrito. I had a tasty dish of steak and shrimp with veggies rice & beans. My teenage son didn't enjoy the carne asada because he expected a different cut of meat. Quick service. Good hot! food

It was fine. The chicken taco needed alittle seasoning on the meat though. Tasted bland without all the fixings.

We ordered my son's birthday dinner from here at his request and spent about $80 to feed 4 adults and 2 children. This was my husband's and my 1st time at this restaurant & we found that the staff is excellent, the portions are generous and the food is a fresh & delicious alternative to other, less authentic establishments... and won't send you "running for the border". We will definitely order from here again! 👩‍🍳😚🤌💯

Food was very delicious and service always fantastic, definitely a local favorite spot. So happy they were open after snow storm when most places were closed or only open for evening.

Always tasty! Service was excellent. Dishes recommended as personal faves are carne asada, enchilada verdes, carne tacos (steak with onion, lime and cilantro) and burrito jalisco (steak). Recent addition of a deck out front now allows outdoor dining. Love this place ❤

So great! Had the chimichanga this time and the carnitas last time and both were awesome!!

Food was good but service was slow the waitress was dealing with taking Togo orders and picking up orders so we just sat there waiting. Kitchen was slow also maybe just under staffed the night we were there. But once again food was good.

One of our favorite go to spots in Cambridge. Food and service is great and prices are very reasonable.

Stopped in on my way out of town, and ordered the Chili Verde. It was a hard decision, but I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to have to go home and pack up the husband and kids and move here now. Best Mexican Food I've ever had, and I make sure to sample Mexican food every where I travel. Service was great as well. The pork in the Chili Verde is what dreams are made of.

This place is the real deal, great food and drinks and large portions.

Hit the spot. Chips and guac are good as well. I thought the guac was a bit oniony but its fresh fresh so I didn't even mind, it as all so good together.

I really liked this place. Small, nobfrills look but fast and delicious food. I had the Speedy Gonzales special and my only complaint was the taco got put beside the beans and dissolved half the shell. Otherwise id give it 5 stars.

We picked up a “to go” order from Don Chuy’s for our lunch today. The quality was good, and it was so fresh & delicious plus what a nice presentation! They consistently serve great Mexican food.

We stopped here when visiting the Eastern shore. Personable service. Fair prices. Huge portions (fajitas) and the shredded chicken nachos were great. Drinks were good as well. We will be coming back when on this side of the bridge.
