Make the Cronuts great again! My wife and I used to love the cronuts here. They used to be crispy, flaky, and delicious. Over the past year or so they are so thin and dense. It is almost like they are glazing them while they are still super hot and the layers are collapsing. I wish they would fix this.

Food great, service OK and place smells burnt and floor is super sticky.

You wouldn't know to look at the shop from the outside that true donut greatness is right inside. The insane collection of styles and flavors is only outdone by how truly good they all are. I have gotten them many time for family, friends, and coworker. I always get a wide variety, and everyone loves them. Their prices not only beat most donut shops, but they also compete well with grocery stores. Don't even get me started on the donuts in the case at the counter. The long and the short is they are the best in central florida as far as I am concerned, so if you want a dozen to share or one the size of your head all for your self, go to Donut King!

You're gonna need an insulin shot right after. Buy milk. This place has amazing doughnuts. Fresh made by people who care. The people are friendly and can't wait to make you fat.

I’m not sure if this is the typical experience that you get at the donut King, but I walked in this morning and waited for about five minutes before an employee unenthusiastic wondered out. She looked entirely uninterested in being there. She asked who first and the woman next to pointed at me. She turned and blankly stared at me, until I eventually gave my order after realizing she wasn’t gonna say a single word. It seemed like she was entirely unsure of where any of the donuts were and was entirely unhelpful. This is the first time I’ve gone to any independently owned donut shop and received less than a quarter of the service that I would have had a Dunkin at 4:30 in the morning. It felt as if they were doing me a favor by serving me. Makes it all more crazy, is that all of the donuts I purchased were mediocre at best, the only saving grace is the portion size.

Best donut place around. It's our go-to. They make their donuts three times a day and they give a lot of boxes away every single day supporting the community.

Donuts are huge, but not overly sweet or doughy. We got the Apple bear claw and I’m pretty sure it’s the size of a polar bear’s claw. Would definitely come back to try their many assortments.

Stopped in before Easter. The donut trays were full and everything was fresh!! Only one problem, they stay OUT OF APPLE FRITTERS!! HOW!! Please for the love of everything holey.. Stock more fritters!

Very bad customer service! I specifically said I wanted four bags for four separate items. She put two of them into one bag. I told her I wanted them in separate bags. She said she already put them in one, so I told her to take it out. She did but with an unfriendly face. Then she processed my payment and didn’t give me my receipt. I told her I wanted my receipt. She said she didn’t print it, so I told her to print it. She said she couldn’t. Very uncooperative store with unfriendly clerks. Unbelievable! I won’t go back there.

The shop is cute and convenient, the staff is always great and there are several options for donuts. The donuts are great and this place is worth checking out for a sweet treat.

We stopped by last night on the way home from dinner to pickup a dozen donuts. Walked in, no one was there, a woman walked out from the back and inquired what we wanted. . . we picked our donuts, paid, she turned around and walked back through the kitchen door and that was it. Donuts are great, as always, but while the service usually is consistently 'ok' to decent, this long-haired blond woman (if i remember right) was NOT a bit happy to be working/providing services. I'm not expecting a handshake or a bouquet of flowers, but a "how can i help you" and "thank you" can go a very long way.

This review is mainly for the individual working in the front on Friday (3/22/2024) at 1:00PM. The lady was very rude and not welcoming at all. She couldn’t even smile. She definitely gave off the vibe that she didn’t want to be there and didn’t want to be bothered by anyone coming in. I have been to this location multiple times and usually there are teenagers working and they are always so pleasant. They don’t hesitate to answer questions and provide suggestions. This lady couldn’t even say hi so I didn’t dare ask any questions. I didn’t even feel like I could. Luckily, I come and get the same thing every time. Needless to say, the teenagers give better and more pleasant service that this older lady I experienced today. Truly a disappointment because the donuts are amazing and like I said usually it’s a very welcoming experience.

My Mami asked for some donuts a few weeks ago, and I remembered Donut King was close to my home, so I popped in for the first time. I had previously had one or two when working at our call center, and a coworker brought a couple of boxes in. When I looked at the selection, I decided in some that didn't have a crazy amount of sugar because they would've been frowned upon by my parents. Mami wanted something sweet but not something that would make them get an incredible sugar high. Went with six donuts, which came out to be $9. A lemon filled, an almond topped, a coconut topped, Boston creme, chocolate for my father, and plain glazed. The six were quickly packed up, and I was on my way. Mami has mentioned that the flavor of the cooking oil that Dunkin uses makes her not like them, but these were good she enjoyed.

I have tried Donut king twice before one is minneola and another time at this location. The quality has dropped significantly from last time. The dough was not fresh at all, the service didn’t help either. I drive almost an hour to get these so I hope they can get their quality back up because they used to be really good.

Amazing staff !! Young or old they treat every customer with happiness and care. The products are fresh and delicious no matter what time of day you walked in the door. I'm not used to donut prices being this high but I suppose it's the economy.

Found donut King on TikTok!! Drove two hours to check out donut King the donuts are absolutely amazing. Just sad to walk in an not be greeted and feel like we are an inconvenience to the young gentleman behind the counter.

Donuts are pretty good, service is not. Placing an order the day before will not guarantee it'll be ready. Had to wait 20 minutes past pick up time for an order. They do do school pricing which is great, but so does Krispy Kreme who honors pick up times, this just happened to be slightly closer for me to travel to but I didn't save time because of the delay. Saw 4 employees during my wait and 2/4 were nice enough, one girl was just rude and had an attitude. Not the most pleasant way to start a Friday.

This is the best kept secret in winter park. The creativity of flavors appearance and taste will have you in awe. If you aren't getting your donuts you are missing out big time. Stop in grab a tasty treat and you will see why they are the king of donuts. Hands down👍👍👍💪💪💪

Delicious unique donuts for a great price. They had a kit Kat donut that was great. Prices weren't posted anywhere but we got 2 regular donuts and 2 "premium" donuts that were in the front case for $8.xx. Great price imo!

Doughnuts always taste good but today was an experience they didnt have most of doughnuts out so when i asked when cinnamon rolls would be ready i was rudly greeted with I dont know after asking when they would be ready i was told rudely i dont know after asking again the answer was now 800 . Then he wiped his snotty nose with the palm of his hand . Looks like i dodged a bullet . I left vm for owner but have not heard back . Rude and dirty employees

I saw their ads and wanted to visit their extra sized donuts. Today, I picked peanut crunchy dressed chocolate donut for 1.99 so great.

Great donuts, with all kinds of creative flavors like maple and bacon, blueberry filled with red velvet crumbles, heath bar crunch, etc. They have even made Mardi Gras King Cakes for me with cream cheese filling. I love that we have this place nearby in Winter Park. If you've never been there, pay them a visit. You'll be back.

Bunch of INEPTS work here. I called in for 3 dozen SPECIALTY DONUTS and I called in to pay for it and change some donuts and THEY WERE MAD and hung up on me. they were rude and couldn’t even speak well like some type of speech disability and she would NOT give me her NAME. I asked 4 times!!! And she hung up on me I keep on calling and they won’t answer. Daniel the manager needs to fire these horrible “workers” I will be using a different establishment !!!

To have the friendliest staff, always willing to help you out , went today and the kid behind the counter was rude and had an attitude , slinging the boxes stacking the donuts on top of each other, just ridiculous, go home if you don’t want to be there and do the job you are paid to do 😫😫😫

Donuts made for giants! No, seriously, some of the donuts here are massive!! But don't fret, there's something for us average sized humans 😅. Donuts purchased: Maple Bacon, Sour Cream, and Pumpkin Cake, a Maple Bacon Log (clearly I love Maple Bacon and if you've seen my other reviews you'll know about our donut entanglement), and a huge apple fritter. The donuts are really good for what I've tasted so far in the Orlando area. They are by far superior to DD and other mainstream options. The size and price are very reasonable too. Doughy is how I'd describe the classic donuts, and I tend to enjoy a more airy, less dense donut. The cakey donuts were the sour cream and pumpkin cake. Those were very flavorful and soft with a nice glaze to donut ratio....well, the sour cream one had a lot of glaze, and if you like simple and sweet, that's a good option! If you love pumpkin spice, you have to try that one because all the pumpkin spice flavors are there! It was two years since my last visit. Hopefully, I can come back and update the post with more flavors!!

All right, Donut King, what the heck happened to your Bavarian cream doughnuts!?!? These used to be full of your delicious Bavarian cream, and now I had to go searching for it, like a raindrop in the middle of the desert. Look at my photo and tell me how 1 pound of donut dough justifies one drop of Bavarian cream!?!! what the heck do better!

As soon as you walk into this place, the smell of happiness just hits you. :) I've been coming here for a few years now and the donuts are always super fresh. All the employees are super cool too, especially Tayshaun. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better donut shop in all of Orlando, especially that the price is right too!

Have to update my review after visiting there today. The donuts are always good, HOWEVER, there were bees all over the place and on the donuts in the store this morning. 12/3/23. Staff was less than thrilled to bee there (see what I did there?!). It was a little gross with the bees all over the food. Seems like a problem.

Excellent donuts! I only got donuts, so I can onlt review them, but they have a lot of other items. I look forward to going back and trying more things, like the cinnamon buns, and bear claws.

The baker was so sweet! When he found out my kids would bicker over having to share a box of donuts he put them into separate bags so they would have their own! I mentioned that I loved the pecans on the pecan cinnamon rolls and he went above and beyond and added more!!

The best doughnut shop in the 🌎 hands down I tell you no lie. Be prepared to wait in line on the weekends this place keeps a steady line all day long from open to close. Give them a try if you've never been here, trust me you'll be mad you didn't treat yourself earlier😂

Stopped here this morning for a dozen donuts after much begging from the kids. So glad I did. While the location is very unassuming and has no bells or whistles. Their selection of donuts and baked goods is amazing. When we got there. There was maybe 3 people inside but when we left there had to be 10 and the parking lot was getting full. The young lady and young man working the counter were very friendly and quick to serve. We got an assorted dozen donuts. From Heath Bar crunch, Chocolate frosted Sour Cream baked to Bavarian Cream. Don't miss out on this local bakery. This is a true Donut shop.

Good donuts, but recently changed their hours with no sign indicating what the hours are. Second time I’ve stopped by to a closed store that used to be open 24 hours. I thought maybe the first time was a fluke. I don’t begrudge a business changing their hours, but having a sign would have been nice so I wouldn’t have made the second trip.

The donuts are fresh early in the am. Be careful because in the evenings there are kids working and they aren't very sanitary. One kid was spraying cleaner next to my donuts... Donuts are always good though

I came in this morning and wasn't greeted waited a good 5 minutes for someone to actually come out and when she did she was rude. Not very welcoming and the people you hire there are quite trashy in my opinion. Donuts were a plus on a good note! 👍

I drove many miles out of my way because this place was so favorably reviewed by many people. I was extraordinarily disappointed that the doughnuts tasted just like Dunkin Donuts and were very average. And worse, the person who waited on us was extremely surly and unfriendly, I won't be going back.

Experience varies each time you go in. Donuts are usually pretty delicious, though. Every now and then, the cake donuts need a longer fry.
