Ok this place is dated to say the least. Red vinyl seats in the booths from the 70s by the feel of them. BUT...the food is outstanding. I've eaten at dozens of Mexican restaurants over the years and Dos Primos rates right up there in the top 10. Had fajita burrito. Just stuffed with steak. Not a bunch of filler. Wife had fajita quesadilla with chicken. She brought half home it was so much food. We came here 10 years ago the first time, and today the food is still delicious. On a Tuesday night the place is hopping. Because the food is so good.

Friendly staff and food is good. Thanks. We love their grilled chicken tacos. There are very yummy. I don't try a lot of new items but everything that I see being brought out to other tables looks good and smells good.

From IL and WOW- you guys blow them away! Great, fresh food, really nice staff, and a clean atmosphere despite it being busy/dinner time. I would honestly make the 2 hour commute JUST for their food. The portion sizes are definitely worth it, too, so bring your stretchy pants! 10/10 recommend!

It's a small restaurant with amenities that are not up to date, but the food and service are exceptional. I prefer eating there in the evening versus the lunch time but both times were good. I just really enjoy the evening shifts' food.

We ate here with some friends, we waited around an hour to get a table, very busy place on a Saturday evening, but the food was delicious and the atmosphere with friends was very good.

Food is traditional Mexican food, served fast. It's not very hot. Not a TexMex menu sadly.

Chips were stale. I had To ask for 2 straws and The waiter looked at me Like I was a allian... We'll Never go back.... Only Ate 3 or 4 bites of my Dish..

Some of the best mexican food I've had. Never had anything I didnt like from them and I'm super picky. LOVE going here with the family. My kids also enjoy eating here and specifically ask for THEIR location. My kids are picky eaters so that's saying something!

We stopped here because we did mot want fast food. We were pleased we did. The food was very good. I had the lunch special which was still to much food and my som had the entree and was a lot too. Staff was friendly and our food was serbed quickly and hot. Would go again

We visited Dos Primos while in town for the week. We eat Mexican food a lot and the Arroz con polo was the best I’ve had in a long while! So creamy and delicious and seasoned perfectly. Be warned the portion was large and I got a half order. This is a great little off the map stop to try out and support this lovely local community! Service was friendly and quick!

Best Mexican Restaurant in the district

Food is always good. Usually very quick to get things we ask for. Wait time to get your food is minimal. Overall a wonderful place to get an authentic Mexican dinner.

It was just your run of the mill Mexican restaurant. No seasoning on their ground beef.

Our waiter got our drinks chips and salsa very quickly, took our order got our meal very fast. Food was hot tasted great.We went for lunch on a Thursday.

In the small town of Potosi is this gem of a Mexican restaurant. The food has favor! And each dish taste different yet all delicious.

Only one complaint they need a bigger place.

I had the Hawaiian Street Tacos that were fantastic! The plate my partner ordered was very watery, so things that were supposed to be crisp were not. Place was very busy. The service was pleasant.

Same experience as the last time we were here. The smell of cleaning solutions is very strong. I like their salsa.

Food quality was good, but a bit more pricey than other Mexican restaurants with similar menus. I will still return again if I am in the area. Dining area was full by the time we left, so the place must be well liked.

Food was amazingly good.. it's the only place in Potosi for Mexican food.. So of course we went back and all 3 of us got the Taco burrito... It was cooked to perfection. Super yum If you live within an hour or so of here plan a date night there.. we have ate Mexican Restaurants from Texas to Minnesota and out to West Virginia... This is by far our favorite in this area.

This restaurant may be good for Potosi but overpriced and charged for extras other area Mexican restaurants don't. Food was average.

Always have a great experience when dining in. Our most recent visit, we had Mario's quesadilla, 1-person steak fajitas, and chicken quesadilla. All was hot and fresh. Quick preparation, I think we only had to wait 10 minutes for food to arrive. Super delicious. Highly recommend if in the area. You won't be disappointed. The portions are generous and I don't really have complaints. (It is often cooler in there, so if you get cold easy might want a light jacket) 10 out of 10 will be back. 😊 Don't forget the jumbo margaritas to compliment the meal. 😉

Little pricey, but you get a lot of food and they should change their name from a giant margarita, to a fishbowl because it's huge

Found this place while visiting Missouri, to see family. It was the mistake of a lifetime! The most FOUL Mexican food (if that's what you call it) ever! I was disgusted that it was so generic and the worst I've ever had in my 57 years! Everything about it was horrible!! Even my grandsons hotdog was disgusting! Definitely DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH STOPPING! TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY! I'll stick with my homemade anything over this! 🤢🤮 BLAH!

I love Dos Primos. The food is amazing. Especially the Jalisco's special (it's always on the specials board when you walk in). Anything we order is delicious. The staff is wonderful, except one guy, one single guy, he is not very friendly at all, he always takes the orders and drops the food off but that's all he does, everyone else takes care of drinks and checking on the table to see if anyone needs anything. But I always try to be friendly with the guy and he never smiles, just takes your order and leaves then drops off the food and you don't see him again until you go up and pay. I really hope tips are shared because I always leave a decent tip due to everyone else being so amazing. He is the only reason I gave 4 stars. But other than that guy I would HIGHLY recommend eating here!
