One of out go to pizza spots. If you're from the area you know about DHOP. NY style large slices- by slice or whole pie. Their Ceasars salad is very good! I have been going for a very long time but just recently found out they have RANCH! SO I NOW GET A SIDE OF RANCH, I'm that girl.. it's right downtown. Good vibes, good pizza- can't ask for anything better! Love them always.

Not going to lie at first I was like okay I’ll give it a try I’m not that much into pizza!! As I order my food it took about a decent amount 20/30 minutes for my pizza for it being busy. I was patient enough to hold my hunger. When I went and picked up my pizza I thought the size I got is going to be small compared to other pizza places!! It wasn’t it was huge I ate and my girlfriend and a couple of other people. We got full and enjoyed it.! It was delicious though really most definitely I will come again. For those who want to try pizza for the first time recommend this place downtown Fort Myers.

Great place for casual pizza experience as you're wandering downtown. Upbeat staff keeps things moving. They work hard for the money.

I come here every time I am in Fort Myers, the white pizza is amazing!!

I have eaten there several times. The pizza and salads are good. Staff needs some work. I’ve tried 3 times to order for pick up and they can’t seem to get it through their head that if I set the pick up for 6 pm they likely shouldn’t make the pizza at 5:30. When I complain they lie to me and tell me they will remake it. Third time with cold pizza, I’ll go elsewhere.

Slice is so thin that I can almost see through the other side. Not what it used to be.

This is the second best pizza place I have ever been to. let me explain I am from miami originally, and the only place that is better then dhop is a place called antonio's Pizzeria. it is in broward county(east coast). But dhop is by far the best on the west coast.

I recently visited Downtown House of Pizza in Fort Myers and had a great experience! I tried the pizza by the slice. A slice of Margarita and one of Pepperoni. The Margarita slice was fresh and flavorful, with a nice balance of tomato, basil, and mozzarella. The Pepperoni slice was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of grease, embodying that classic New York-style pizza. The coldest pizza with the cheapest cheese I have ever tried, very bad experience

Alex & Ryan were absolutely remarkable!!! Following a horribly POOR response to an unfortunate insistent; the security on this property/establishment absolutely failed in this, as well as management.

Pizza was good...salad wasn't that great... the grilled chicken on the salad had zero taste

If you want NY style pizza in Fort Myers, this is the only place to get it (despite what others claim). It is worth the drive downtown to get great pizza.

DHOP (Downtown House of Pizza) is a staple for the nightlife community in downtown fort Myers. Every time I find myself going out for a drink in the downtown area, I make sure to stop here before heading home. For all the vacationers, and people passing through fort Myers, that want a "Local" experience... this place is literally a part of the Fort Myers Culture, give it a try.

Hands down the best pizza in SW Florida, a true NYC slice shop in downtown Fort Myers! I drive the 30 minutes from Moms condo in Cape Coral just to bring it back 👍🏻 And the white pie is her favorite ❤️

Called in may 29th at 4:30 young lady picked up and I tried to place a pick up order for my kid to eat while I’m driving. Tried to order 2 slices so I can get in and get out. Was told I can just place the order in store and then just hung up the phone. It wasent about ordering in the store it was about convenience of it being ready when I got there. Horrible customer service.

Not sure what’s going here today. A slice of pizza came out black and burnt. Asked for a fresh slice another black burnt slice came out. I asked again the the pizza guy could care less, did not offer another slice. Cashier just said sorry. Another patron asked for a new slice because his was burnt too. I had 2 bites cheese was hard and crust burnt. Apparently quantity is more important than quality now. SMH and no one there cares. EDIT: Thank you I appreciate your response and taking care of issue. Things happen I understand hopefully all good now. You made it right by acknowledging what was wrong. Thank you , I will return because you always had consistently great pizza for years .

NY style pizza sold by the slice, it's not an Italian pizza, it's a little greasy but it's worth eating. Great place for a quick and overall cheap meal. Quick self-service, a nice little square at the back with tables where you can eat and which also overlooks other places.

Jeremy was attentive and welcoming when we walked in and directed us to the yellow sign to order a whole pie. I then met Selene who was super friendly and accommodating with all my questions and even went to get the nutrition label to show me the vegan cheese ingredients. She was friendly and helpful. Jeremy poured my beer and was super friendly and easy to talk to. I have been here before and I’m from northern NJ so I know it’s good!

Subpar experience with mediocre pizza. The ordering process is chaos, there is no signage to indicate what type of slices/toppings are available at any given time, and customer service and congeniality are not exactly the strength of this staff. The pizza was fairly greasy and mediocre, and the Orange Crush from the soda fountain tasted like there was still cleaner in the syrup line. At one point the soda fountain was overflowing onto the floor.

This place has fantastic pizza by the slice! You can watch the pies being hand tossed in the front window. The margherita is wonderful and is worthy of an entire blog post on its own. But don’t miss out on the salads, sides and desserts! YOU GOTTA GO GET THIS PIZZA!!! I can’t quit thinking about it!

Lindsey was very rude ! We order with them all the time never had issues ! A girl ordered 2 slices just an hour ago and when I try to order she says they don’t do it when we have multiple times ! Me and my daughter found this place on Google. We decided to give it a try because it did rank high 4 1/2 stars. And we are so glad we gave this pizza restaurant a chance. The pizzas is extremely delicious absolutely super, and the best part are cannolis.

This was our 1st visit - great pizza. The exterior courtyard area in the back that is shared by several establishments has some tables but unfortunately for whatever reason the band that was playing on Sunday afternoon think that their job is to bust your eardrums and make sure you can't really enjoy what could have been a fantastic experience.

Best NY Style Pizza in the area, hands down!

First you have to stand in line and select your slice of pizza. Then they told us to walk to the end and pay. We stood there for many minutes wondering where our pizza was. Then I was told you have to go back and grab the slice from the counter. Gross! I asked for a glass to get ice. And the guy threw a cup at me. And made an motion with his head That the ice was behind me. Rude! We ended up sitting outside.That was the only nice part about it.

Fell for the review hype - this place is the top rated pizza place in Fort Myers and for the life of me I don't know how/why. Used their website to make a pickup order, said it'd be ready in 30 minutes. Went downtown, parking was impossible. Ended up parking almost 2 blocks away, arrived 10 minutes past pickup time and food wasn't ready. The store was a mess. Tables, floors. I had my toddler with me who of course had to use the bathroom. Thank God she had a pull up on, no way was she using that disgusting bathroom. Like seriously do they even clean it? Walked around the block and came back about 15 minutes later and they told me it wasn't ready yet. I was going to leave, screw the food, and they stopped me at the door saying it was ready. Then they almost forgot part of my order. Get the food home, I'm staying not 5 minutes from where this place is - pizza is terrible. Crust so hard can hardly chew through it. Not talking about the crust at the edge, talking about the entire dough. The Stromboli was a greasy mess, just flopped together. Zero care went into that thing. The mini canoilies were mediocre at best. Spent $65 here for a very frustrating pickup experience, grossed out by their establishment. To get the food home and it was awful. Like I said, I don't know how in the world this place is the top rated pizza place in Fort Myers. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

We picked up an of pizzas for the first time last night. While the pizza was tasted really good, was a little disappointed in the amount of toppings. I paid for extra jalapenos but was barely 2 pieces per slice, not as much sausage as I would expect either

Small shop between local bars, amazing wood fired pizza, most popular by the slice but will also do full pies. Went in on a Friday night, the place was hopping, so it was crowded, after trying the pizza that all made sense though 😄

Waited 1 hour for my pizza after we arrived 10 minutes after they said it'd be ready. Was lied to several times saying my pizza was in the oven when it clearly wasn't. Then after asking several times where it was, the one that was supposed to be mine, was sold by the slice to people right when it was taken out of the oven. Pizza was good but nothing great.

Their cheese, white, bacon, or meatball pizzas are a Good go-to for first timers. The service is alright, a little disorganized but overall pretty good, but hey it's a pizza place. Atmosphere don't really matter, the food is the reason people go here, though all the photography in the seating area by the bathrooms adds a lot, and it can be very loud, I will admit (if you're sound/noise sensitive, bring noise suppressant headphones) For New York pizza, DHOP is the closest you can get to authentic in florida and is a pretty good hit of nostalgia for New Yorker's like myself.

First impressions, the place smelled so welcoming and it was amazing.

It's a fast paved self serve kinda place with many, many people in and out. Condiments and cutlery mostly self serve and not attended too enough. Pizza truly NY style with the freshest crust ever and generous toppings and choices. Wings were small but crispy. They have an XXLg pizza that's simply enormous. They have tied with Uncle Rico's down the rd a bit for me for best pizza in area and we are from Buffalo, NY.

Great stop for a slice of pizza! Slices are huge. Lovely outdoor patio if you are lucky enough to find a seat available.

My Favorite Pizza Place of all time!! I love Downtown pizza, they have the best pizza I have ever had. The service is always awesome and friendly and they are quick to get your order and it is always busy, so you know they have good food. Great prices too!!
