Our family likes a little bit of everything when we choose a restaurant and sometimes I just always want sushi and when I saw sushi on the menu along with smashed burgers I immediately was susceptible but very open minded and let me tell you…FAVORITE SPOT! I absolutely enjoyed my sushi! And I wanted to try the chili and our waitress was nice enough to give me a small taste and it was delicious as well, good kick to it! Lots of flavor! My husband obviously enjoyed his burger it was gone in 5 minutes.. we will definitely be coming back with our kids, family and friends.

Drake was really nice to my kids and took them in the back still waiting i’ve been calling the restaurant and every time I pick up I hear screaming and clapping

This was my 1st time at Drakes. My side salad was literally the largest and best salad I've ever had! Our waitress; Rose, was outstanding! One of my guests ordered several types of sushi and loved them all. Another had the chicken tacos, and again, cleaned his plate! Definitely a place I'll visit again. The prices are a little more expensive than your "Applebee's or O'Charley's" but so is the quality of the food.

We had Trinity and Brianna as our servers - We didn't get to see Trinity a lot, as their shift was ending, but they were very nice:) Brianna took over for the rest of our service and was very kind as well. Brianna took care of us and checked up on us multiple times during our meal and even got me a side of eel sauce <3 They have cool tattoos, too! My boyfriend ordered nigiri and I ordered a poke bowl. Beware - those jalapenos do NOT play around - very spicy! Nigiri was also good. Boyfriend is a picky eater and enjoyed it:) Not once were we left without drinks. Brianna was on top of our beverages like no other server I've ever had. Table was clean AND dry when we arrived. Menus were beautiful - looked new, even. They have sushi, burgers, you name it! Silverware was rolled very cleanly. Someone took their TIME rolling that silverware because it looked GOOD. The soy sauce bowls we were given did have two VERY SMALL spots of stuck on food, but that wasn't anything you couldn't solve just by picking it off. Our dishwasher does the same thing. Not a big deal - didn't ruin our service. I only noticed it because I'm a clean freak. Seating was definitely unique. And the atmosphere as well. The lights were cool - have this submarine lights vibe if that makes sense? The have very nice circulating fans, they will keep you cool. Thank you for the service. What a great experience tonight! We moved here over a year ago and always had the best experience then it went to not so great for a while and we stopped coming. Tonight was back to its great restaurant we loved! Service was awesome also the manager, Rachel was awesome! stopping by just to say hi and hope we enjoyed our night! You can tell she’s there to make it the best again! Everyone was absolutely great and we will be stopping by more often again!!! Thanks!!!!

From the chicken sandwich to the fries and sauces this place is amazing. The ice cubes in the soft drinks are perfect size and taste like I am in Antartica. The service was very good and was an overall great place for lunch.

Where to start… Drake’s the only restaurant where being a racist server is OK and management think is OK as well. I used to love Drake’s in general but after tonight I will never set foot inside again. It’s been 7 months since I was there and it’s been always good but today was the exception. Our server made some racist comments (bad enough that the guests that he was serving came to our table and expressed their dissatisfaction of our server’s comments) I called for a manager to let them know and on top of the already bad experience she offered a “discount” making it just that more offensive for us. I want to clarify… We were not looking for a discount!!!!! It’s a shame but Drake’s the only restaurant where being Hispanic gets you racist comments from the servers and management is OK with that… 👍🏾 good job Drake’s hiring racist servers.

The food was good. Definitely a fusion type place with something for all palettes. Try a mocktail! You aren't getting top of the line sushi at this place but not saying that in a negative way. Sushi was delicious! It's just not a sushi restaurant. Staff was wonderful! Engaged in conversation. Prompt service and checked on us often. Atmosphere is cool but if you are looking for a quiet place, this is not it being close to CVG Airport. Didn't bother me personally but just something to be aware of in advance. Will be eating there again!

Although the server was excellent, the food took forever and was absolutely disgusting. The bathroom was filthy and smelled like a hospice for dying animals. 0/10

The food was delicious, the smash burgers had a perfect char on the outside and they were full of flavor. The special cocktails were a hit as were the beer of the month and some other local breweries. It was quick service and we had a really great sever.

Sports bar atmosphere with Americana food and sushi. 2 bars, lots of TVs, pretty quick service and friendly staff. Staff was great, friendly, quick and kept drinks refilled. Never felt forgotten about. Food was good, came out quick and fresh. Burgers and more on the greasy side but good flavor. Sushi is good, just no soy sauce dipping cup provided.

I love drakes I love everything about it ,the food,the wait staff,willingness to please, one thing that I don't like is...Their dirty floors and table tops!!!the floor is so dirty that it is slick,but I love this place it really needs TO BE CLEANED UP!!

Our server Sami was an absolute treat! So attentive and wonderful! Drake's is lucky to have her. The dragon roll and the patty melt were our favorite!

When I first walked into the establishment young lady walked by and said you can sit anywhere she didn't even acknowledge miles from sit anywhere and they weren't that busy at the time. I drive from the river out to Florence to eat at Drake's to meet friends and I was disappointed. The food seemed like it was just thrown together not the way it's been in the past. So it'll be a while before I drive back out there for lunch

Great food! Service was a little slow but servers were very friendly. Chicken was super tender and juicy. Broccoli was cooked perfect. Plenty of food in the dinner to eat and take enough home for a meal the next day. Sushi must be good too - it's my sister's go to place when my nephew wants sushi.

Staff greeted me immediately to assist with my takeout order. The smash burger I had was very dry I almost choked.

The garage doors on the building make sense more now, the two steaks I was given may as well be tires in an auto shop. To go order took way too long, service was atrocious. Drakes is an embarrassment

It was weird, to be honest. The vibe was off immediately when we walked in. You walk in and are greeted by a sign to seat yourself. The front room was hot since it was open. So at first, it was sort of like, "Are they open?" We proceeded to the back bar and seating area. As soon as we entered the doorway, there were like maybe 3 to 4 two-tops and three-tops and literally 5 workers/servers all standing at the bar facing the doorway we entered through. They didn't smile, say hello or greet us in any way. Quite the opposite. It almost felt like the line of mean girls in moddle school who attempt to intimidate everyone. It was nowhere near closing time so I couldn't understand why they looked so angry at us. I clearly was looking for bathroom. After walking past them towards one end and then back again looking from side to side, I finally asked them all where the bathroom was since they were still all watching me and staring. I came out and joined my party. There were 4 of us total. Once I sat down, we were waited on. It wasn't horrible service. Nothing bad necessarily happened. The food was delicious and portions were good. I'm just really over customer service these days. I work hard for my money too. So when I chose to take a night off cooking and come out, I would like to be treated as if I am welcome and my business is appreciated. I can feel unappreciated at home by the kids for free 🤣🤣🤣

Atmosphere was great. We enjoyed our dinner and they actually had non-alcoholic beer! Our meals were very good, and price was acceptable. I would definitely go again.

Had sushi-shrimp and some burgers. Not big on sushi, but it was actually really good. Service was spot on. Good food and great service. Thank you very much, can't ask for much else. Some will.

We eat here regularly. The food is always good, and the service is always great. Excellent place for a good burger or to meet friends and watch a ballgame. Special shout out to Brianna who was our server tonight and did a great job even when the staff was shorthanded.

We went Saturday night after the boone county fair and there was no wait. The server was sooo patient with us even though half of our party took 30min to get there. Food was great and all the drinks were filled SO fast!

Wasn't what I was expecting. Had the buffalo chicken wrap, couldn't taste the chicken with all the sauce. It would have been better as nachos-buffalo chicken nachos. I'll stick to black and blue burger next time. The loaded tots as appetizer. Others had fish and chips and sushi and they said it was really good! PS it was really hot inside.

I am so mad at all of the high ratings! I was so excited, but now I'm just sad. Six of us ate here. We all shared tastes. I would re-order 2 of the items, if I needed to eat here again. This place was over priced for what you get. I know it's my own fault for ordering sushi, but it looked so good on the menu and even on some that walked by, but Yuck! Bland, small portion, no presentation! Chicken was dry and came anticlamattically with only dry chicken and broccoli. She could've gotten a rice bowl for cheaper and it would've had rice, chicken and avocado. I love Tater tots! How can you mess them up? By over frying them in not-hot-enough grease, so they are dry, hard and greasy! Alas, Pretzel was good! Way to thaw, Guys!! Waitress was nice when we saw her. Had to hunt her twice. Tighten up guys! We don't go out much, now I remember why. You can do better.

My family goes here occasionally, but I always got the fried fish. It's hard to find a place with good fried fish, but I LOVE the food at Drake's. Last time we went, however, I decided that I really wanted to try the sushi. My family doesn't like sushi (I'm the only one) so Drake's was perfect because they could get other stuff. The waitress was super kind and helpful; she suggested different types of sushi and even sauces to go with them. I really liked their spicy mayo :) I really, really love this restaurant. Everything from the food to the service is spectacular!

The last 2 times me and my friends have showed up celebrating birthdays we have been lucky enough to have becka/bekka? . We showed up rather late both times and she treated us so lovely despite the time. We Really appreciate how professional and kind she treated us despite our party size and the time we showed. She is such a great server and should truely be recognized for this. Fantastic. 12 out of 10.

Food was amazing. Truly special. But cleanliness in every area, plates, bathrooms, floors is not good. And they messed up our order and brought food at different times. But i will definitely give them another chance.

Great sushi place. The atmosphere is fun and staff are very attentive and helpful.

We set ourselves as the sign said. Waited 15 minutes to be waited on. Many of the wait staff walk by us. Never Was waited on and not that busy. As we walked out some of the wait staff were on their phones. Others just talking with themselves. Never will go back!

Nice sports bar to hang out. This place is huge. They have 2 bars, a covered outdoor, and a non covered outdoor seating section. The staff is super friendly. Wide burbon selection. The pretzels with cheese were delicious, the Mardi Party sushi roll was not.

Walked in sign said seat yourself. We did. Several waiters walked by and no one came up to us for over 10 mins so we left.

Drake's has yet to disappoint. My boyfriend and I go here at least once a month to get sushi and food. It's rather expensive, but the food is worth every penny. The serving sizes are large so expect to take some home with you!

Chicken Tenders were excellent! Friendly staff and a nice place to hang out.

We have eaten here a few times now, and mostly everything is delicious from drinks to food. The trio sliders and fried pickles are my favorite and would highly recommend. I would not recommend the steak as it was requested medium and came overcooked and bland. Super friendly servers and bar tenders. Highly recommend for date night or a night out with friends.

Diverse atmosphere, service was exceptional (thank you Jourdan!), and food was delicious. Suggest requesting Jourdan as a server. She was very knowledgeable on the menu, had great recommendations, and has an awesome personality! We ordered fried fish, sweet potato waffle fries, and sushi :)

My boyfriend swears by Drakes, but I won't be going back. Even he was disappointed today. We started with sushi, which was really good. However, when we tried to order again, our server was nowhere to be found. We needed napkins, but there were none at our table, and we couldn't find anyone to ask, so we ended up washing our hands in the back room. We also needed refills for a while, but again, no server in sight. When we finally got our food—chicken tenders with fries and a burger with fries—the fries tasted off, we needed ketchup which I had to get out of our seats to go ask for from a different server, and the food just wasn't up to its usual standard. I asked to speak with the manager, who was very kind and listened to my concerns. We were given a cookie as compensation, which was good, but we came for a meal. Today was a special occasion, and Drakes really let us down. We left a lot of food uneaten and didn't even take it home because we felt sick. I'm not trying to be mean; I just think the service could have been better and more should have been done to address the situation. At least we got a cookie.

Don’t Try to get a job here because this make you run around a circle to find out that they don’t have positions Manager can’t get her fax straight out or tell other managers had an interview with people And told you when you call them back after a week and tell you, I don’t have any spot for you

Drakes is fantastic. I am incredibly picky about my sushi, and this place is pretty much the only place in NKY I will go to get it. My personal favorites are the Tuna Stack and the Chicago roll, but any other option is good too.

One of my favorite when I come to town to visit family. The food & drinks are always good and the service has been great. Whether it’s a table of adults or one with a few kids mixed in you can’t go wrong here for lunch or dinner.

I drove two hours from Indiana to try this restaurant, it was so good. The service was incredible. Brianna was my waitress and she went above and beyond. I interacted with quite a few staff members and they were all sweet and helpful. The food was beyond great. Big servings, hot, and tastes amazing. My son and I loved it. The buffalo chicken dip and chips were amazing. The French fries are perfect and the burgers were made to perfection. We also tried the chicken quesadilla and it was one of the best we ever tried.

I don’t recommend the sushi. You barely get anything for 27$. You could cover the table with sushi at home for that much.

I've been here with my girlfriend and some friends a couple times now. Drake's is normally SUPER packed especially on the weekends, but I've been lucky enough to sneak in at some non-peak times to really experience the place. The ambiance is chill - open air flow during the summer when they open the "garage doors" leading to the outdoors seating, nice branding and aesthetic on the inside, very inviting environment that is unique to the Florence area in my opinion. I've had their chicken quesadilla and their Crab Rangoon sushi role. The chicken quesadilla was pretty good - typical standard quesadilla that is on their menu as an appetizer but could easily be a meal for one person. You can never go wrong with the quesadilla. The crab rangoon role is a star of the show. This unique, warm sushi role is just a delight and something I occasionally randomly crave from time to time. If you're a fan of rangoons you'll definitely love this take on the classic dish. They have a full menu of other goodies and some great drink selections as well as specials they offer that are constantly being switched to new offerings. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for some bar type food or sushi!

Cold beer, cool breeze and EXCEPTIONAL SUSHI!! What more can you ask for? My absolute favorite was the YUMYUMYUMYUMYUMYUM roll. Our bartender FAYE was very personable, friendly and easy on the eyes (wink).

Love Drake's the waitress was very nice and everyone who works there the food there is amazing anything you order I'm sure you'll love that's definitely one of my favorite places to eat 😁😋

The food is average for a place like this, but over priced. Nice looking place, as well. The service, however, was absolutely terrible. I don't actually remember the last time I had worse service at a restaurant. Inattentive staff, and to top it off, once we got the check we waited, and waited, and waited to pay until I finally got up and just took the check to the bar. Won't be returning. Over priced mediocre food and zero customer service.

Plenty of parking. Popular place on a Tuesday. Service was quick. Food arrived fast. My chicken wrap was filling and good. Good music playing in the background. Military service recognized.

I’m not from here, I’m way up in mid Ohio. I’m down here on a business trip. Someone from my work that’s from here recommended this place for the sushi. Based on the look you wouldn’t expect the greatest sushi. It was amazing super fresh and well made. The server Sylas C was amazing, they kept on ensuing they would be right with me on drinks, ordering, and food even when passing by with other peoples food making me feel important. It was super busy too so the multi tasking skills were impressive. Best place I’ve eaten on this trip hands down. The only thing that I didn’t like is how crowded it was and how close the seats were so servers kept bumping into me. No ones fault really it was busy and space was taken up. Over all best place I’ve eaten on this trip

Way better than any Applebees. It’s nice to enjoy a great burger, while my wife gets her sushi fix. If you like a Vegetarian burger or just like black bean burgers period. This is one of the best around.

It was busy when we got there at first so slow service was a bit expected but even after they slowed down we still had to sit with our dirty plates and cups their the whole time we ate and couldn't even find our server half the time. Also the Manger came over 3 different times to ask if we were okay and saw the mess and did nothing, probably not going back for awhile.

The service was really good here. The server was tied up so the manager got us drinks and helped until our server was available. We appreciated this. My dining partner got the chopped chicken salad and said it was really good so I took a bite too and it was good! I’m not super into salad and liked it a lot. The honey mustard dressing was really good too. The buffalo chicken dip was okay. I didn’t understand the huge blob of cold sour cream in a hot dip. Not worth the steep price at all. The chips weren’t good, way over seasoned. The queso was okay. The size of the portion for the fish tacos dish was large which was nice. The salsa and guac were good. The tartar sauce was super sweet and felt out of place. The price of the meal might steer me away from going back as often though at $70 for 2 people with one soda and no alcohol. At least I had leftovers from the fish I guess.

Everything I've ever ordered from here was amazing. The service last time was kinda slow had to wait on my refill that never came then when I went to leave she apologized and asked if I wanted a to go cup. Everything else here is always great though.

We experienced quick and friendly service! We both tried the rib special with two sides and was delicious. Great prices as well! This location pays attention to detail, very clean for an older building. We spoke with the manager and he was very concerned with all his customers food and experience. Atmosphere was laid back & comfortable. Definitely recommend it!

The server Alex was excellent. We had the baby back ribs special. Ribs were meaty and cooked to perfection. Worth a visit. Great family atmosphere.

Good food, service wasn't great. Had to chase waitress down to order an appetizer, she was more involved chatting with other staff members than taking care of customers.

Absolutely fantastic place! Drove around 40 minutes from a subarb of Cincinnati to get there am definitely wouldn’t hesitate to do it again! Food was absolutely fantastic, service was great (shout out to Amanda who was our server - always on top of drink refills and quick to check on us - but also not overbearing - absolutely amazing). Very kid friendly and a wide variety of food options. I tried everything from my daughter’s grilled cheese to my mother in laws queso burger. No disappointments and shouldn’t miss the shout out to the buffalo chicken wrap, buffalo chicken sliders and chicken asada tacos!!! Would definitely make the trip back to Florence and Drakes!

The crunchy munchy sushi was good. We ordered the in house Margarita and it was awful. The Chicken teriyaki bowl was not edible. Buffalo Chicken wrap was bad as well. Buffalo chicken minis were at least edible.

Today I was the waiter Jake, very good and excellent service and perfect but his bartender and manager very bad service and bad attitude.

Filet was overdone, sent back and new one was still over cooked and the bartender said a thermometer was used so it had to be med rare!! Chicken was extremely dry and I had to put sou sauce on it to make edible!! Wife’s chicken tacos extremely dry also and the shells were hard!! Tuna sashimi tasteless! Extremely dissatisfied and underwhelmed!! Manager didn’t even come out after told they were on it! Blown away that this place had a crowd!!

Stopped in for a Sunday lunch. They had a nice house beer. Easy drinking. Also a pretty good margarita. The fish minis were good. Fish cooked properly. Tartar sauce was good. Tots were nice crispy and tasty. Service was adequate if a bit lackadaisical. As in many of my recent reviews service is suffering of late. Don't know if it's short staffing or other just very common of late.
