Not many items in store. I had their pizza once it was ok. Very cheesy and the sauce was either to light or not enough flavor.

Visited Duke's Place earlier this afternoon. After waiting almost 2 months and approximately 45 minutes drive to experience Duke's pizza, I can definitely say; it was, without a doubt, definitely worth the wait and trip. First, let me say; Duke's is a small, mom/pop convenient store that is completely remote from most towns, that makes and serves homemade pizzas. Upon entry, the store is exceptionally casual, which could potentially turn some away; however the attitude initially recieved was warm, welcoming and inviting to say the very least. We ordered: ONE (1) 14" Pepperoni pizza with extra cheese AND ONE (1) 14" Cheese pizza While waiting for our food to be prepared, we had great conversations with store management and a couple of locals. Receiving Food: Both pizzas arrived straight from the oven, EXTREMELY HOT and ready to indulge! With an estimated 3/16" of a REAL cheese blend (Yes, you read the amount of cheese correctly) that was cooked to perfection, had a thicker, light savory, butter/ garlic flavored crust, that was cooked all of the way through, yet still soft and had a light crunch to each bite. It was a little light on the sauce, but the sauce that was on the pizzas were loaded with a perfect blended flavor of tomato, oregano, garlic and just the right amount of salt, so the lack of sauce didn't have too much of an impact on the flavor. Although they do offer sides of a commercial brand garlic butter and marinara packets for a slight fee, it would have been better if they offered small sides of the actual pizza sauce they used on the pizza for dipping, but again, that is just a personal preference and nothing that actually had any sort of negative impact on the quality of food, nor the services rendered. After leaving the store, I requested feedback from the family and the general consensus was unanimous, with a positive experience and each of us would be happy to return. In closing: After eating at a table in the store, we drove the 45-50 minutes commute back home to Fairfield Glade (Outside of Crossville), to find our remaining pizza was STILL very warm!

It was the BEST pizza we've ever had!!! So delicious! It's just a small grocery store by the road, but the pizza deserves an Oscar award! Really!! Our family absolutely LOVED it! We will definitely remember it and miss it! Some of the best known restaraunts do not have pizza this good! We've also picked up some local farmers' eggs for a breakfast. Note: the toppings were actually under a thick layer of cheese! (so what looks like a cheese pizza is actually a loaded one) :)

Best pizza in the area, the duke special can feed a small army, and the service is so laid back with this down home atmosphere. Can't ask for more. The do have gas and stay open till midnight if I remember correctly.

We have driven by many times and never stopped but our neighbor said we had to try the pizza….don’t let the outside of the building stop you from going in. The pizza is the best we have found in the area in the year and a half we have been here…especially if you like a lot of cheese on your pizza. The owners are real down to earth good people. Fast and friendly service Great value for the money. If you’re looking for the Ritz with $50-$60 pizza (that isn’t worth the money) you won’t find that here. Limited indoor seating….and not fancy at all.

Not a pizza place. You cannot eat inside. It’s like a gas station but they don’t sell gas. Avoid at all costs if you have any sense.

Pizza was quite good. Unfortunately, the place smells of cigarette smoke. The lady there was very nice and we liked her but would appreciate a cleaner environment.

This doesn't look like a restaurant when you first walk through the door, but do not let that stop you from trying the pizza here. You will do yourself a great disservice if you do. We thought we knew where the best pizza was made but Duke's Place knocked our home town favorite pizza down to a distant second best. This pizza is incredible!! There is limited but comfortable seating, the owners are very friendly. We dined in but the pizza was so good that were ordered a second one to go after one bite.

Pizza was amazing but the entertainment was even better! Thank you! We will come back next time we are in TN!
