Earth Tones has a plethora of delicious gluten free offerings, from sandwiches to cookies, which are delicious. On the glutinous side, this cafe also served the best sandwich I've had in my life. Having lived in St Louis, Chicago, New York, and DC, I have had and enjoyed many sandwiches over the years. The mushroom melt on sourdough beats them all, including the world-famous sandwiches from Antico Vinaio (which now take a respectable 2nd place). For a meatless sandwich, the melt was fairly hefty, and a good strategy would be to resist the temptation and save half for later. I strongly recommend the drinks, pastries, and other foods on offer. My fiancée, who is gluten free, was very happy to have lunch here. The staff are wonderful. This is a gem of a café, and I look forward to the next time we have the chance to stop by.

Have visited twice and loved each time. Had their specialty toasts each time - one with fresh local peaches and the other, strawberry cannoli toast. Love the baked goods. Many items are unique flavors - not just your ordinary cookie or muffin. Highly recommend, especially if you are open to trying new and different things.

Excellent service and excellent food everytime. As a Celiac, this is one of my favorite places to go to. I'll drive completely out of my way just to come here to drink coffee and eat delicious food.

We drove from Easton to Denton specifically for the coffee and breakfast sandwich offerings as we heard they were great. It did not disappoint! My husband had a radish sandwich and I had a gluten free egg bagel. Both were delicious. The service was wonderful. Definitely a place to stop when in Denton!!

The mushroom melt was yummy and satisfying. Service was friendly and professional. I enjoyed looking out the window at the sleepy town rolling by. I will be back.

This place is amazing! The food is incredible, the staff is sooo helpful and kind! I appreciate all the accommodations with food allergies as I have Lyme disease and they have gf df options!! My new favorite place!!

What a small-town gem! My husband and I stopped by for Sunday lunch, sharing the Avocado Classic Toast and the Citrus and Cream Toast. We whet our whistles with a Cortado and a decaf Americano. The food presentation was gorgeous and the taste was an equisite blend of crisp, bright flavor with a steadying foundation of items such avocado and cashew cream! We thoroughly enjoyed all items, including the coffees, and I was pleasantly surprised by the flavorful decaf. Highly recommend a stop here. The food warrants return visits as we pass through from the lower shore to the Annapolis area and back. The owners and staff are friendly and attentive. All the best to a new location that is absolutely killing it! Updating to say that this place is still TOP NOTCH & to add a few more photos. My husband & I visited today (10/29/23) on a beautiful, sunshiney, late October day with our grandpup in tow. We chose to sit outside to accommodate our furry lunch date. The outside is pet friendly with a complimentary water dish for your doggie companion. The human portion of our party enjoyed the Tortilla Vegetable Soup, the Buffalo Chickpea Salad Sandwich, the Apple Cider Mimosa, and the Espresso Glazed Cookies and Samoa Cupcakes for dessert. Everything was spectacular as always. Please do not miss the Apple Cider Mimosa! It will surely put you in the autumn mood. Delicious! The apple pie spice rim was a nice touch. We are always welcomed warmly by all staff and today was no exception. Thank you, Earth Tones!

The best food around; being gluten free is tough when it comes to eating out and ETC has made it easy to enjoy GF food while keeping the flavor and textures on point.

DELICIOUS! I got a Greek yogurt bowl with pumpkin seed butter, raspberry preserves and chocolate granola and it was so good. Service was great! Would definitely come back/recommend. Very cute— the exact vibe that appeals to Millennials like me 😂

Service is always exceptional! Everyone is so friendly and helpful explaining everything we have questions about. Rotating menu does a fantastic job of keeping things exciting. It's always fresh tasting and quick service.

Earth Tones is an amazing restaurant...the service is outstanding the folks there are friendly and polite....the food is delicious!!! The portions are generous...and the meal presentation...it is food art at its finest....I would encourage anyone and everyone to treat themselves to a meal at Earth Tones Cafe..I.promise that you won't be disappointed...fresh ingredients innovative flavor combinations..seriously this is a 5 star Cafe'....in addition to the outstanding menu..their deserts rock!!! This is an excellent coffee shop. As a coffee roaster, I have very high expectations for the coffee I drink and they go above and beyond. The staff are extremely friendly and personable. They strive for high quality food and service. Definitely recommend!

Cute little Cafe in downtown, very clean and friendly staff. I had the Egg Avocado sandwich and my partner had the yogurt bowl and the food was so fresh and delicious, and healthy options.

This is a lovely little coffee shop. I always try and stop here while driving between DC and the Delaware beaches.

Stopped by here for a bubble tea for lunch and I’m so glad I finally tried this place out. The tea was fantastic the employees were super nice and the Spirulina Chia Pudding was very filling. I’ll definitely be back for my future lunch’s.

I enjoyed an EXTREMELY tasty mushroom, lettuce, and tomato sandwich here today. This cafe has good food and lovely people who care about people and LOVE TO PREPARE delicious meals!

Have now been twice with consistently good food and coffee choices! Pictured is the egg & cheddar sandwich, espresso dusted sugar cookies and a large cold brew with caramel and almond milk.

This place was wonderful. Our first time eating there and it was delicious. Sixty black bean soup, bagel with artichoke, aioli and cheese, and toast with egg, avocado, cheese and candied jalapeno peppers. Just delicious.

First time going, and when I shared that with the staff, they walked me through the menu, then I asked if she had diet lemonade, she said no, I told her I wanted to avoid the sugar, she suggested the Arnold Palmer with little lemonade and it perfect!!! I had the egg avocado toast sandwich, very delicious!!!

Went here with my mama and toddler we both got the Chesapeake artichoke bagel and it was sooo unbelievably delicious. We got my daughter a pb&j and she ended up just eating the bagel because it was so good. I’ve never had anything I didn’t enjoy from here!

Superb food and hospitality experience. Check this place out especially if you are not looking for vegetarian/vegan creations. My perspective has been forever changed by the Chesapeake Artichoke Open Faced Bagel - I would swear it was a Chesapeake Crab Melt. Kudos and look forward to future developments.

I have dined at Earth Tones more than a few times and they have never disappointed me. Everything is delicious but I recommend the ricotta dip with roasted garlic and turmeric oil for personal or an event and don’t forget the soup of the day…..any day. I love this place.

A cool spot in Denton. Great place to get a bite and a drink! Maybe you'll get lucky and they have some local music outside.
