Loved the shrimp tacos and tots.

East Beach Tacos truly understands what it means to deliver a good meal, something that I question of even some of the most affluent eateries in the area. It’s only fitting that it shares it’s location with batting cages because the menu is filled with dinger after dinger. The consistent quality of every item that comes out of this little kitchen is downright heroic. Don’t think twice, just go.

OK, I have had better, they were a little dry, but these tacos were pretty good. Get the Triple Play, three tacos of your choice for $11.50. Great with a combined try the batting cages that are right there. Great place to hang out and watch everyone try to hit it out of the park.

The Bahn Mi taco is absolutely incredible. Favorite taco I tried & would definitely be worth going back for. 10/10!

Love their tacos here! Such a hidden gem! 💎 had the triple play with the spicy crispy shrimp, Gangnam style and bah mi taco. Staff was great, tacos were prepared fast! We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was not a lot of people. However, they have been known to have long lines.

Line was insane and after your order was up, they'd call your name over a PA that is muffled. Or maybe the guy calling the orders thought he was funny and ate the mic while speaking.. 🤔 Best part was being right next to the batting cages. Nice to get some food and some drink while swinging and missing balls coming at you at 100 MPH. I recommend the cider..

This has become our new favorite place. East Beach Tacos should be a landmark of what Santa Barbara style Tacos should be. However it's the customer service that makes it stand out to us. By far the best customer service in Santa Barbara.

We went on the recommendation of our kayak tour guide and OH MY!!!! The ceviche salsa is off the charts! The Korean bbq taco is my new happy place and the chips are second to none! We licked the basket clean ya’all!

Excellent food, taco we got the beach ball (spicy tuna ball) the ceviche of the day, and the triple play. The ingredients are fresh and the locals love it, I’m definitely coming back next time I’m in Santa Barbara.

Place “basically” closes at 6:40 refuses to answer phone or take orders past this time. Needs to adjust their operating hours if they are unwilling to continue to work til closing time. Made it there the following day just to be disappointed in the food quality… over all bad service and food. Don’t waste your time at this place and go to a place that actually wants your business.

This place if one of my favorite places to visit in Santa Barbara. Outdoor seating and plenty to watch as the batting cages are table side. This place will not disappoint for tacos with plenty of GF choices as well. Try a “beach ball” (with chips instead of wonton chips) a pleasant surprise from a taco stand. They also have beer and wine. This place is within walking distance to the beach. Parking in the designated parking lot is tricky. Go across the tracks and immediate right for overflow parking.

One of the best taco spots in Sb. I always recommend this place when friends come into town. Parking is limited so if you go during busy hours you may need to park down the street and walk over. Also is connected to a batting cage so you can stay and get in some hits.

The triple play is my favorite plate to order because you get to try a few taco options at a great price and you are FULL or take it home for second lunch. Gangnam Style is so tasty and always on repeat when I go. My husband loves the Batter Up fish taco.

I was just visiting area for the day and I was looking for a fish taco place. This place was amazing. Fast, service was excellent, very reasonable prices and the tacos were delicious!!!! I can’t wait to go back! I had the triple play and picked the Ahi tuna, grilled shrimp and grilled fish. The other photos were from food sitting in the window and it looked amazing! I will say I loved the salsa but be warned it’s hot! (And I’m from Texas!)

Excellent classic and fusion tacos. Can't beat the price of the triple play for $11.50. Perfect spot for a sunny day outdoor lunch. Parking might be full during busy hours so just drive a little further to park by the ball park.

Batting cages were coo and the beach view. .. load semis and sports cars revving and speeding off in your ears though near the highway off ramp Went cause it was near the Zoo. Awesome great food!!!!! Nice beach style fries.. tried 6 different tacos and the fowl ball? Chicken sandwich bomb as Fuhhh!!! Food coma for sure need to go back!.

Believe all the rave reviews you read here. Fresh, delicious and well priced! We always go for the Triple Play and our favorite is the Bahn Mi taco. However, all are delicious. Good parking lot, expect a line-up on sunny weekends. Worth the wait!!!

Amazing!!! The best tacos I've had in years and I'm in LA and OC where there's a great food scene there. My favorite are the Gangnam style tacos 🌮. Perfectly marinated with a little kick of tangy spice. So good, that we ordered each of us another order of Triple Play. The salsa is also great, definitely a good level of spice if you love 🔥🔥 heat. You go here for the good food, variety of food selection, especially tacos, great fish and chips, and tater tots! Not to mention very fair prices. If you're into baseball you might want to take a swing at the batting cages.

East Beach offers a variety of tacos. We ordered the Triple Play, so we could try different varieties. The tacos were good, but not great. We had a beef, a chicken, and a shrimp taco. Seating is available outside and they share a small parking lot with a batting cage park. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Fantastic customer service. Food was exceptional. Menu was extensive and diverse. We went with ahi tacos with a wonton taco shell—what a complementary combination. Light, but the flavors will you fill you up. Eating a delicious meal while watching the batting cage is a unique experience. I jumped in the cage myself after the tacos and had a blast. Unexpected, fun, delicious, accommodating and excellent customer service. Don’t change a thing.

No parking and average food. Nothing spectacular in my eyes. I felt like I was eating at an amusement park.

Cool taco spot in Santa Barbara… we were in town to see friends and hit up Disneyland, came through for the Art Walk, tacos are top notch, menu is solid, place is always busy so parking can be a bit of a challenge, be patient it’s worth it

This is my last meal on death row. You think I'm kidding...I'm not. I have been to 14 countries as of now, so trust when I say I've had some amazing meals. The grilled fish tacos could LITERALLY wake me from a coma if I caught their delicious scent. Myself and all of my friends have said these are the BEST fish tacos we have EVER had. Many of these friends grew up in Mexican households too, so I know they're being for real. This restaurant better be here 50 years from now or I will be devastated.

This is our go to place for tacos in SB whenever we visit. Been there a number of times - consistently delicious and fresh. We've tried every taco on the menu. My current favorite is the Carne Asada. We went to East Beach Tacos because of the rave reviews and #1 status for Mexican Food. It didn’t disappoint. We went for the triple play, a choice of three tacos from their expansive list of options and our favorite was the ahi tuna taco followed closely by the crispy spicy shrimp. We even tried one of the “local’s favorites”, the beach ball which was a ball of rice with spicy tuna inside. Everything was delicious and a steal of a deal. Don’t, however, go for the ambiance unless you find picnic tables and batting cages romantic, though watching the batters swinging was entertaining in its own way.
