7/6/2024 Had a great fellowship with a few classmates. Amount of food for the price was reasonable. Our server Pancho was very attentive and friendly. Cashier Jouceline was prompt and friendly. We will definitely be back.

I ordered birria and it was quite salty. I also ordered flour tortillas but instead they gave me corn tortillas. I don’t really recommend this place . Instead you should probably go to El Cabrito in Carthage MS.

Great place would go back anytime.

This to me, is by far the best Mexican restaurant around. The service is too notch. Very friendly folks.

If you are ever in Winona or passing through and feel hungry this is definitely worth a visit. Friendly and helpful staff and a menu full of excellent options. Great portions all reasonably priced.

Slow service and I spent 50 on 2 people

First of all, we love Mexican food 😋. This restaurant had a dish we had not experienced in our lives. I can't remember the name, but it had ham and chicken breast along with grilled vegetables and tortillas. The restaurant was clean, festive, and welcoming. We are hoping they will put one in our Slidell, Louisiana.

If you want a good steak, this is the place friendly service with a smile

Food and service were excellent and the portions perhaps more than generous. It was easy to find and get in and out of and parking was easy for our motorhome towing a car. It is just south of Hwy 82 on 51 in Winona, MS. Great stop along the Hwy 82 corridor! Pretty red clover out front too in April.

Always delicious! I have been here several times, and flavor has never been an issue. The food presentation could use some improvement, but overall, it was a great place to eat.

We had at least 20 people in our party. They handled it very, very well! Not a single item was missed or delayed. Very sweet young lady as our waitress. Great food, good prices!

They were packed so we had about a 15 minute wait. But once seated they were quick to serve us. The food was wonderful as always. I recommend the crazy potato.

Interior needs updated. I think they are building a new place.

I drove in from Jackson for a family event and came here afterward, the staff was all extremely friendly and made our experience very pleasant. Food quality was top notch and came out in a very timely manner and to top it all off, the prices were more than affordable! Also there was a very handsome taxidermied deer that made me very happy. 6/5

I’m from Tupelo Mississippi and I stopped to eat here on the way back home and I have to say the food was amazing. It reminds me how good Tex-Mex restaurants use to taste growing up. The service was amazing and the food came out so quick. Servers were amazing and all with a smile and great personality! Great prices and one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ate in a while. The smaller and less fancier vibe of the restaurant lets you get a grasp of some real authentic Mexican restaurant/ food. If I am ever in this area again I will definitely make sure to come here again!

After eating Mexican food all over the country and abroad, I find this one lacking. It is more of a tex mex place than an actual authentic restaurant. It's always saddens me when order a simple dish and it is as bland as shoe leather.

Good delicious food. Big servings. Friendly staff. My favorite plates are cheese enchilades with grilled chicken and avocado toppings. Happy plate is the anti-veggie eater and kids' fave plates.

Service was great. Food was great. Real Mexican food. There was a bit of language barrier on one order, but food was huge plates. Crazy potatoe was great, tons on plate. I had leftovers.

It was my first time visiting from California and El Cabrito was super delucious I loved it, especially the cheese dip it was soooo good. Afterwards I thought I should have brought some home with me.

Awesome food, great prices. And our waiter actually walked over to a nearby table where a group of ladies were screeching very loudly and a bit of colored language. He asked them to tone it down. They left shortly thereafter 😀

We were in town for MS State Graduation and decided to eat dinner here. Well, I just have to say it was best Mexican restaurant I’ve been to in awhile. Food was delicious and service was great!! U will not be disappointed if u eat there.

Some of the best Mexican I have had in a awhile. Well worth getting off 55 to stop in. The exterior and interior needs a revamp at some point but don’t let this deter you. The food is better here than many Mexican restaurants I have been to with newer buildings. The portions and prices were fantastic. I will definitely be back!

Food and service was outstanding. We loved the guacamole! We were in town for the night. Staff at our hotel recommended for their margaritas. We didn’t have drinks but thoroughly enjoyed the food.

The molcajete was amazing! Two of us shared it and it was more than enough! Also tried the fried banana and it was amazing as well! Service was excellent! Very friendly staff!

I'm from texas. So perhaps I'm spoiled with really good Mexican food. However, while my goat dish was delicious, everything else was not. The worst part about this place was the service. It was pretty empty, but it took our waiter a long time to get to us. And the lady checking people out was less than helpful until she was told to help. I was in Mississippi for a couple days and it seemed like everyone just lacks Hospitality that the dirty south offers. If I ever had to come here to work again, I would just go to the dollar store, get $3 worth of instant noodles, and save my money.

Just came here passing through I55 south. Saw that this place had good reviews and wanted to see what it was about, and boy it did not disappoint. We both really liked the quail! Not something you usually see in any restaurant. Great service too! The next time I come through here I will stop again! Thank you!

This place is horrible. Worst customer service ever. There very rude. I wouldn’t recommend eating here at all. My and cousin I ate there and her food wasn’t right. They proceeded to say she has to pay for it even if it wasn’t right.

This Mexican restaurant is SO GOOD!! And the workers there are so nice and really take care of you. Ate there today and it was pouring down raining when we left and one of the workers was walking people to their cars with an umbrella! This is definitely the best Mexican restaurant in this area!

Really good Mexican food at reasonable prices!

My wife and I stopped by for lunch one Saturday and were totally delighted. The guacamole was without a doubt the best we've ever had. The food there is exceptional and such huge portions for a very good price. The staff is friendly, courteous and very efficient too. Trust me we will go again and I suggest El Cabrito to anyone wanting a pleasant experience.

We were driving through and were told that this place had the best Mexican food in town by a resident and a police officer. They were not kidding. The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly with smiles and ready to help as soon as I walked in. Food was fresh and tasted amazing. We will definitely come here again if ever passing back through town.

Great service, very polite staff, outstanding meal. On I-55 heading south and saw Winona… googled restaurants and decided to go into town to try this place. So glad we did!!! And don’t forget the desserts… very tasty. 👍👍👍👍👍

Love it my favorite Mexican restaurant in this area

We stopped for lunch recently on a Saturday, and the food was excellent as always. My companion got the vegetable fajitas, which was SIZZLING for maybe four or five minutes after it was served. I got the chilaquiles mexicanos, and it was really good. The chips are thin, crispy, and light. The salsa is good and obviously homemade. Our waiter (don't know his name, he's got a shaved head) was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Total bill was somehow under $20. Fabulous.

This place is always on point for me. The servers are always friendly and the phone is always hot and tasty.

Service was great, food was wonderful and it was fast. If you get a cocktail try the painkiller it's like a liquid strawberry starburst! Server was funny and nice.

They food was delicious just a little slow

This place has never let us down. Excellent food, really good service, and a friendly atmosphere. Mushroom quesadilla and vegetarian fajitas were really good. The chips were a tad un-crisp, but that if the only time that has ever happened to us here. The salsa is good. The only reason this visit doesn't get five stars was due to the margaritas. They didn't taste fresh, and they were over $9 each during lunch. We should have asked "how much?", but at lunch, one doesn't expect a $9.25 margarita.

The food was delicious, I recommend anyone from out of town to eat out at this restaurant
