Really good employees really nice

The food is fantastic and so are the staff but last couple times I've been, I usually leave cash tip on table and use card to pay for meal. My card has been charged $5 more on bank records than what was paid. I went this week, spent $15.31 left cash on table for tip, but when I got home and checked bank it said $20.31. So I guess they add their own tip. I love this place but will not be going back.

Food order was wrong, took a long time. Another guest was smoking on the patio 5 ft from our small children.

I think it's the best Mexican we have in roane county for sure!

We haven’t been there in almost 10 years. When we lived there it quickly became our favorite Mexican restaurant. We were in town and knew we had to stop and eat there again. Still the best in Roane Co! Hopefully we will be back soon.

Great Mexican restaurant with good prices, portion sizes, and service. The fajita taco salad is so good, and the chicken enchiladas are good as well. My family of seven can eat out for at this place without breaking the bank. I only dock one star due to needing some upgrades or updates in decor but overall would recommend.

Pretty good! Salsa is pretty mild and boring. All you can eat meal was pretty good.

I have been going here since they opened in the first small building. Now they have a better sized parking lot and a bigger building with lots more room inside and out to eat. Owner is amazing, as well as the staff, and the food is the best mexican food you will find. Great family restaurant, and probably the best one in Harriman to go to.

Delicious! Hot and ready in less than 15 minutes. Everyone loved their dinners. We will take out again.

The food really depends on what you get. We got a taco salad and it was nothing but hamburger meat floating in oil. It was awful. We also go nachos with chicken, peppers and onions. It was pretty good. I might go back but be warned that taco salad is terrible.

I have been chewing on this review for a while. Friendly staff, large food portions, and reasonable prices make it a good choice. The chicken Primavera dishes were typical for the area, very similar to other restaurants. The sampler dish was huge! Three separate plates full of food. Unfortunately, the ground beef portions were barely seasoned or simply not seasoned at all. If we lived in the area we would possibly visit again to try other dishes.

It's the average Mexican restaurant. The food wasn't exceptional. In fact, it was unremarkable. The food tasted like every other Mexican restaurant, frozen or made in bulk and frozen. Perhaps it's made fresh to order but, it didn't taste or appear to be. The check/payment system is antiquated. You have to go to the register and describe what you ate so they can find the hand written check, then add it up on a calculator... We're paying 2024 prices. Get a 2024 payment system.

I've worked in nearly every state in the southeast. The first thing I do when I get to a town I'm going to be in long term is try to find a good Mexican restaurant. This is the best place I've found for Mexican food.

We went to El Cantarito Mexican Restaurant, Harriman, TN on Saturday night. We were hoping to go earlier but it was not in the cards for us. My Girlfriend ordered the Ground Beef Chimichangas and I ordered the Pollo Primavera Full Shrimp. My Girlfriend got a Virgin Pina Coloda & Water to drink whereas I ordered a Sweet Tea. The Drinks came almost immediately after order and the food was shortly there-after. Literally 5 minutes after we ordered the food, the food was at our Table. I am on a High Protein Diet and they were able to accommodate for my needs. The food was most excellent and the service was exceptional as well. Their store is clean, plenty of parking including Handicap spaces, Wheelchair accessible as well, and The Staff are friendly & helpful. In Addition to my review. I cannot figure this out but my faith in humanity was renewed that this restaurant. Let me explain; After we finished our meal, my Girlfriend ordered addition food to take home to the kids. When the nice lady brought the food all bagged up to the Table, she brought the check for the additional food. I asked her for the check for our meal, she said that someone anonymously paid for our dinner. She said that there was not check for our meal. I was shocked but thankful as well. To the Patron who covered our Meal, I want to thank you for it. I will give back as well to the next person so that kindness that you showed to us is shared with others.

Huge kudos here! We were in town for my dad's funeral and stopped here for a late lunch. There was 32 of us and everyone enjoyed their food.
