My people, this is one of those places that are called a hidden diamond. Don't forget to try mixed fajitaa, they are delicious.

Forgot to take the pictures but the food was delicious. Shrimp burrito had a lot of grilled shrimps in it and not too salty. Chicken fajitas had a good portion of chicken meat and vegetables, with half sliced avocado. Definitely worth visiting

We used to eat at the other Mexican restaurant in the same lot.. however, we tried this place a few weeks back and now it is our GO TO SPOT! Best food and service! Good amount of food for the price! Fast service! Amazing salsa!!

Unfortunately, this was the worst Mexican food I've ever had. The friend who was with me said it was the worst FOOD she had ever had. So sad. Like to see small businesses be successful

It's a very good place, it has very good food.

Such a great vibe. Our first time trying it out. It's a lil spot that is ran by a husband and wife which is a beautiful thing. The food is so good and the wife really gets to know you and makes you comfortable. She's so sweet and funny and the husband gets down with his food. We had the lengua tacos, carne asada tacos, lengua torta and a carne asada burrito. The sauces were a perfect spice to our meal. We will definitely be back again.

This tucked away place is my go to for some real authentic food! I buy the fried tilapia, or a taco plate-and never have been disappointed! I like the atmosphere-just be prepared if there is a soccer game (it could get loud) BUT that is expected when you have a large screen, and people interested in the game!)🤗

I ordered a shepherd's cake, which tasted like everything. Less than shepherd's, they didn't even cut the meat from the tompo.

My husband is from Tucson, so it’s very hard to find him authentic Mexican food that he loves! This place by far taste like home to him. Service was great & the food was amazing! He said it was by far 1 of the best Mexican places he’s eaten at!

If you miss this spot for authentic Mexican food you missed out. This place is excellent. Good people, good food.

VERY disappointed with the carne asada dinner plate. Steak had absolutely NO seasoning, therefore, NO flavor.

Let's talk about my ONE star rating! Ordered the garlic shrimp plate, no beans. Guess what...got beans. Shrimp very overcooked and dry. Shrimp shell was still partially on shrimp. Garlic taste, almost non existent. Last thing. Shrimp was not deveined. Just a HORRIBLE meal.

We stopped here on our way home from the Bay area. The food was very flavorfull. Definitely will stop here again when driving through town.

Basic taqueria with a few less common items like chilaquiles. Food we had was very tasty.

I wish I had known of this place sooner! They give a LOT of meat and don't skimp on portions. Flavors are great! Everyone is nice and atmosphere is down to earth!

A horrible service, the food is not the best today I visited the restaurant and the truth is that I got an unpleasant surprise the lady who attends is badly faced I don't know. Yes, she's the owner, but there's no way to make changes. I'm a good taquero and the pastor's have to bring a good sauce. Well, if you go as a family, I don't recommend it. I'm sorry, but I don't want it to happen to anyone else.

This place was good! We had tacos and my husband had the super nachos. The chorizo tacos were amazing! I think the asada tacos could use more seasoning for the meat, they were ok. My husband did enjoy his nachos, big portion. The orchata was huge! I enjoyed it a lot 😁 very cute little spot.

No Limes! If you like lime with your food or drinks, you'll find none here. Otherwise, they're pretty good. Asada can be fatty sometimes, but that's just beef. Prices are better than the other Taquerias in the area. However, the prices they display on Google are not accurate. You'll need to go in to get the current prices.

Overall pretty tasty place. Enchilada plate is worth getting with carne asada.

One of the best taquerias I've been to in a long time. If I could give only one piece of objective feedback I would say that their steak quesadilla would be better if they chopped the beef into smaller pieces instead of using one huge flat piece of skirt steak. Other than that they are a "diamond in the rough"; their food is very delicious.

Shrimp fajitas was excellent. Large portion. Customer service outstanding. I went on a slower evening and my food came out very fast but it had not been preprepared as I was watching the cook make it from the lobby. It is very "hole in the wall" and authentic Mexican style complete with soccer on the big TV and everyone speaking Spanish. I love that ambiance but for some people it might be a turn off.

This is a great place to eat, great food and great staff, extremely friendly. I eat there quite a bit. Not a fancy restaurant, but if you like GREAT Mexican food, this is the best place to go in Livermore. Far better than the other Mexican restaurants in downtown Livermore.

I never saw this taqueria, tucked behind the town's most mediocre McDonald's, but Livermore has beaten a path to their door. Very tasty, plentiful shrimp, cooked over a hot griddle. Inexpensive beer, which is clearly one of the major attractions judging by the number of bottles I saw on tables. Excellent carnitas inside the torta, which was, again, griddled just right. Friendly counter service.

Steak quesadilla El Castillito is off the chain. And fresh molcajete salsa is the best! Cash Only is the only drawback to this place.

The Cook's make a good meal and the service there is pretty great the only bad part is that take cash only

First visit ever - Probably the only Mexican Restaurant in the city of Livermore & probably surrounding cities which from the moment you walk in, it not only smells authentic but fully grasps the authenticity from the alamo designed building,the artwork hanging on the walls to the lady behind the counter (Btw, spoke accordingly to each guest versus assuming everyone is Spanish speaking with a welcoming smile)..... Then the food came out - Wow! Not only promptly but on the dot with how it was ordered & even more importantly - So Yummy & fresh that even thou at first site it seemed like it was too much for one persons lunch serving, the taste over powered but not over filled . $ = worth it!

This is a real authentic Mexican taqueria. Ive lived and worked in Hayward for 21 years and didnt think I'd find real Mexican food outside of little Mexico (Hayward), but here it is! I'll be sure to go back soon! The carne asada was perfect.

Awesome burrito. So good for the price! Food tasted fresh and so did the chips. The salsa was fresh too, saw the owner making it right next to the salsa bowl. Awesome little place, but remember cash only. I don't mind so much myself because credit card companies charge so much fees, if I pay cash, I shouldn't have to pay the same price as credit card users. They do provide an ATM machine in the restaurant though.

Food has been delicious every time we have been here. We just used them for catering an event and now I can say that I highly recommend them for that as well.
