El Jefe's Taco Truck provided the on-site food for my daughter's 30th birthday pool party (about 24 guests). Everyone loved the taco options and Hugo & Co. were the hit of the party. Hugo was direct, and delivered on his promise of great food at a fair price. Having his truck at the party added an extra element of fun and entertainment value! Highly recommend!

Wow! Besides the best quesadilla I’ve ever had, the service at this truck was awesome! They were closing and done for the night but I asked nicely and they kindly made me one last minute quesadilla. They could’ve said no but were so kind to serve me when they wanted to go home!! Love this truck!

I saw this place on tiktok. I was intrigued by the sauce in a baggy when I saw it on tiktok. I was like that's different. I spotted them behind a gas station while getting on 169 and had to go turn around and come back. I got 2 birria tacos and 1 asada. It came with some really delicious rice. The meat was very flavorful. The birria was not what I'm accustomed to being from Texas. I expected to see a taco dipped in a red chili sauce with meat, cheese, onions, and cilantro. It was basically a barbacoa taco to me. It was really flavorful just not what I expected. I asked for grilled onions instead of raw onions and still ended up with lots of raw onions. The verde sauce was good as well as the red sauce. I usually don't like the red sauce bcuz it's usually too spicy and i like spicy food. This red sauce was a tolerable heat. I may try to swing back by before leaving the area. Good job El Jefe! I didn't get my drink he told the kid to give me though...

Look, it's not fancy, and it's parked behind a run down gas station, but when I tell you this is some of the most flavorful meat, and the rice!? I would buy that rice by the quart if they let me! Get over there now! You won't regret it!

Had to wait for a relatively good amount of time for the food. The menu is not very long, just 3 items to pick from. I’ve read reviews where other people have had burritos and el pastor tacos but their menu must have changed since then. I had the steak tacos and pork quesadillas. They were ok. Nothing overly special. I feel like other food trucks in the area have more options and better food. However, I don’t think the food was bad per say. So I give it 3 stars.

We love Mexican food!….. This was our first time trying out this food truck we ordered 3 STEAK tacos, a CHICKEN burrito and a STEAK torta , I am not quite sure how he is receiving 5 star ratings, because the food was AWFUL!, DRY and TASTELESS The burrito was DRY! and the Torta sandwich did NOT have STEAK it was POT ROAST shredded dry beef…… imagine charging the consumers for STEAK PRICE and they are NOT getting STEAK, I should report this establishment. we wasted our $40.00 Not to mention the guy that takes the orders is very, very disorganized myself along with the other customers, we had to REMIND him of what we ordered. I regret not taking a photo of the food. Even the outside of the food box was messy, so it obviously they aren’t changing their food gloves Honest review save your TIME and MONEY!….💯

Wow, what a find! I recently saw this taco truck featured in one of @tonycueggroll’s TikTok’s. I tried the steak quesadilla, and I have to say, it was fantastic! The quesadilla was generously filled with juicy, tender steak that was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. Each bite was a delightful combination of melted cheese, flavorful steak, onion, cilantro, and soft, toasted tortilla. The portion size was very generous for the price, making it a great value. The quesadilla was served with a side of spanish rice and red and green sauces. The service was quick and friendly. The food truck itself had a welcoming atmosphere, and I could tell they take pride in their ingredients and preparation. I'll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu. If you're looking for authentic, mouthwatering Mexican food in New Hope, this truck is a must-visit!

LOOONG WAIT & POORLY RUN. Constantly asking people to repeat their order because they have no system in place. The wait time is easily 40 minutes or more. It’s absolutely ridiculous how poorly this place is run. I haven’t even tried the food yet because I’ve been waiting in line for 40 minutes and they just ran out of chicken. I cannot recommend. Apparently the reason for this place having a long wait time is because of a social media post. I’ll update my review if this place improves but people need to know not to come if they don’t have an hour to kill. UPDATE! After 1 hour and 30 minutes, my food FINALLY ARRIVED. The chicken tacos were bland. No flavor and a total waste. The steak quesadillas on the other hand! Wow! Excellent. I would totally come here for these. I wouldn’t wait and hour for them but I will give this place another try once the hype settles.

So with Mother! I ordered a chorizo ​​cake with melted cheese and beans in a crunchy BOLILLO like every cake should be. The chipotle red sauce, delicious! As I said. To lick your fingers! You'll never had a Torta (sandwich) like this. I order Chorizo, cheese, beans and avocado on a crunchy Mexican white bread. Both sauces are the real deal, take it easy (Mexican Spicy). Red smoky Chipotle for me is the best. To die for! Freaking awesome! Cash or card. $13 dollar cake $12 four Campechana tacos in large tortilla.

Service and food were, excellent. I had the asada tacos for lunch and came back later the same day for a quesadilla. Best street tacos I've ever had and the salsa is unreal.

To be 100% honest, the service , is a 10 out of 10. The food as well crazy! And the have a shaded area where you can eat and relax.

Me and my kiddos love coming here!! The food is delicious! We normally get the quesadillas- steak for me and just cheese for the littles. Hugo treats us like queens. We feel so welcome! It truly feels like a fun activity and not just a quick stop for food.

Was in the area due to an unfortunate trip to a towing place. The day was made much better with the food from here. The birria tacos were incredible! Full of flavor and the meat was really tender. Owner was super nice as well.

Of course real Mexican tacos. Really quick service. My favorite is always asada. Other meats are good as well but my preference is asada. Amount of meat they put on your tacos is great and for the price what more can you ask for. And food is always nice and warm.
