Did was very good service was great

I have been supported this business for a long time. But my last straw was when I placed an online order and the website said my zip code was incorrect but still charged me. They refused to give me a refund or my food even when I showed proof of my card being charged. Not to mention, this isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Online error on their end that they refuse to fix.

Food not bad. Service was good. Not to expensive..

I got take out from here this evening and thought it was going to be safe because the reviews were great. I was very disappointed in some of my food being bland and tasteless and some of it overly salty. Guacamole wasn't as good as I could make at home, tacos were average. Just not what I expected, definitely not going to get food from here again.

Was given a recommendation to try this place and I’ve got to say, the flavor and style is very authentic. Good food at good prices. Try the homemade jamaica and tamarindo!

El Limon was my college go to, and it was fantastic to see that the restaurant has clearly continued to be loved over the years since I graduated. The price of food has barely gone up in 6 years (3 dollars per taco? in this economy? amazing), and the restaurant looks clean and runs efficiently. Perfect for a work lunch, a celebratory meal, or even take out! and the margaritas .... so very good. Well worth the return visit, I'll be back soon!

First time at El Limon and it was delicious! Al Pastor Enchiladas were great. Can't go wrong with the chips and salsa/guac. Great atmosphere with music playing and the staff was very friendly. Will be going back again soon!

I stopped here on a whim because it looked like it would be a good little hidden gem and I'm glad I did! The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly, I'm lactose intolerant and have had more than a few places ignore my request for no cheese (to disastrous results) but my order here is always exactly what I ask for. It's an added bonus that either they blew up not long after my first visit or I just didn't know they had so many locations but now there's locations in Downingtown, Parkesburg, Pottstown and West Chester all of which are in my general orbit.

Food sucks , don’t go there and waste your money.

On a business trip decided to get takeout from here, and it was ok but kinda underwhelming. The chips and Guacamole were decent but the chicken burrito was just ok. Not a lot of flavor at all. Seemed to me that it needed a kick but also some kind of seasoning. Wish it was better.

I stopped by to grab a snack and they were very kind and efficient. I ordered a taco but when i saw the guacamole & chips pass by i got an oder of those. I wish i had not, where is the salt on the taco chips and they’re so thick the only thing they had going for them is, they were nice and crunchy. The guacamole had a bit too much lime&needed salt, it was loaded with tomato and whatever else because it’s so expensive to buy avocados these days that I guess they need to elongate to keep the price down.

The food is outstanding with a very nice selection of items.

The meat in tacos was so stale. I have never seen so much carrot in fajitas. The waitress took forever to come.

El Limon is a wonderful place to get a regular fix of some really good Mexican. All of the food options served by them are great! Nachos and tres leches are particularly great. Would definitely recommend this place for some good quick quality Mexican food.

One of my favorite places to grab lunch while I'm at work! They shrimp quesadilla is soooo good. To the point Its hard to try anything else because I just wanna get that shrimp quesadilla everytime. The staff is always super friendly and the restaurant is always clean.

The “lady” at the cashier / takeout table is extremely rude and obnoxious. Management needs to address her attitude!!! The food is great for a quick Mexican fix, however, the attitude of this person is severely lacking any customer service.

Food was fresh and service was really quick. The waitress was an absolute sweetheart. The ambiance itself is refreshing and it feels out of the way and quaint. For a casual experience, this is top tier. Their flan especially is out of the world. I always end up ordering some with dinner and then extra to take home!

Went for a work lunch, party of 8 on a Tuesday. The dining area is basic but the food is really good. Service was good. A little slow but they had three larger parties.

A great little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. We've never had a bad meal. It's small enough that the service is usually attentive. The atmosphere is just so so but you don't go there for the atmosphere you go there for the food.

A very modest Mexican restaurant in a somewhat unlikely place. Tonight (Saturday) they were cranking out takeout order after takeout order. The food is fresh. The burritos are worthy of a photo. Give this place the benefit of the doubt and try it a few times before you settle in on an opinion. You might surprise yourself.

The food is really good. So far I’ve had a grilled chicken quesadilla. The other day I had the fish tacos. And I’ve had there nachos. Really good food. So if you’re in the neighborhood and you’re looking for good Mexican food. I highly recommend El Limon in Malvern, Pennsylvania. The staff here are nice and friendly.

Perfect place to cater! The ladies at El Limon were so kind and helpful when I pre ordered. I ordered the enchiladas with chicken tinga (AMAZING), and a variety of tacos and chips with the half bucket of guac. The carnitas were a crowd pleaser. Highly recommend this place!

Quality has gone down in recent years and the prices up. Customer service is also lacking as I experienced rude behavior when I picked up my order. Their guacamole is awful and not fresh. Overall this place is trending in the wrong direct and frankly, it’s sad to see as this was a favorite of ours. We will be looking for an alternative.

This El Limon is the best El Limon and my favorite Mexican takeout. The ground beef burrito with guac is to die for. This location caramelizes the beef in a way the others don't and it's insanely delicious. Everyone that cooks there does it, so it's not just one person. This location is amazing.

Pretty solid food. Went with a party of 4 and no one left hungry for 24 bucks a piece all in. Service was average. The problem with this place is that it is incredibly hard to find. It's almost in an alley next to another street. I passed it twice using Google maps. Take a good look online before you try to find it. Also, the dining room is a bit messy with some of it being used to store things and one bathroom being out of order.

Food was okay. Not authentic at all. Unless I just had one really bad experience, I don’t see how they have such a high rating. Maybe because it’s a small town..? I would honestly rather go to a chain, like Chipotle or Qdoba, before coming back here.

It’s a little hidden place but with great food and free margaritas. Heard many good reviews about this place and it doesn’t disappoint. Would have given 5 stars but the place needs an uplift of ambience and decor - it doesn’t look inviting on first sight but then makes up with the food quality

All of the food here is delicious and inexpensive for the quality and flavor they deliver. This is our go-to Mexican restaurant in the area. Tacos, nachos, enchiladas, Al ambre, they are all amazing.

I will be discussing why I rate this El Limon a one star. Looking at this picture I have shown is one of their tortas. They burned the bread, overdid the meat, had a strong char taste, and everything did not taste fresh. My wife and I agree they use leftover scraps of beef and go cheap with their line of food. Coming from a background of owning and establishing a good repour for our own Mexican Restaurant has not been easy and we done it honestly. We have ordered more such as the Enchiladas (do not have chicken as an option), Loaded Nachos, and Horchata. The Horchata right away was too sweet indicating the use of artificial cinnamon; Horchata is supposed to be made with pure cinnamon for a more natural taste. Left us with upset stomachs the same for the Enchiladas. Meat was overdone, thought they put Chiles in there, however it was quite the burnt crisps inside. We have officially lost our appetites for a few days now and that is 46 dollars down the drain.

In town for training. Stopped for lunch - got carnitas taco and barbacoa taco. Very flavorful and solid amount of meat. So good that I stopped again the next day. Got carnitas tacos with a side of rice and beans. Amazing! Will definitely be back! Great value too!

Been here a couple of times. Very below average Mexican food. Lengua isn’t seasoned, Beef is dry, Al pastor is decent, but can be off putting when the meat is sticking all together. Overall the place should prolly be at a 3 stars, but I found hair in my salsa, so 2 stars for this review

The tinga tacos and chips with salsa and guacamole were very tasty and flavorful. The Malvern restaurant was clean and service was friendly and fast.

Updated review: stopped in to pick up burritos and enchiladas. Can't say I've ever had a bad meal. I recommend the flash too! Also have great guacamole.

Carne Asada is NOT chopped up meat with no flavor. A tostada should be bigger than a quarter.

This place has it all. Family run feel? Check. Absolutely fantastic delicious food? Check. Authentic? Yes. Fast service? Yes. I had the best steak fajita of my life here, amazing chips with salsa and guacamole, I can’t wait to be back again soon. Ps: there is plenty of parking and an indoor seating area with booths and tables that can be adjusted to fit larger groups although I’d recommend you visit here with a party of 4 or so.

El Limon in Malvern always has the best, freshest food! You can tell they take pride in what they do. My only suggestion would be including which vegetables are in the vegetarian options. I got the vegetarian burrito and it was phenomenal! It had broccoli, zucchini, bell peppers, and so much! Highly recommend!
