Campanchana is sooooo good. Waiter for outside seating on Saturday was top of the line at his job. Highly recommend. Actually went to the one on the east side on corner of barrnett and foothills

The enchilada red sauce is not good and the chili rellano is dipped in scrambled egg and not egg foam. The Mexican Coleslaw was awesome and the steak fajitas were good. Overall, cool looking place , the lady was nice but the food was lack luster.

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Medford, hands down. It's small and family owned. The staff here is always super friendly and always goes out of the way to provide a terrific guest experience. The food and drinks are great. I've never had a disappointing meal here. Thank you!

THE Best! They consistently have amazing food and service. It’s never missed. Not only do they serve the standard chips and salsa, they also provide the best plate of beans on the face of the earth. All before you order! The Cadillac margaritas are strong and delish. The staff are stellar and never rush you. This is our go-to spot. Hosting friends and family? A date? A work lunch? Lonely? Rough work week on Tuesday? THIS IS THE PLACE! Lunch or dinner, stop in!

Nice lil place, good food, pretty decent staff. My only issue, is when getting takeout, some things always end up missing.

If I could give this restaurant more gold stars, I would. By far, the best Mexican restaurant I've patronized in this area. Excellent vegetarian choices! Our server was exceptionally attentive and friendly. Food was great and the portions were generous. Presentation was beautiful and the atmosphere was wonderful. Prices were very reasonable. Everyone went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. My whole family will be coming here regularly.

Delicious food delightful service. This was a real find on our drive-thru on interstate 5. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food was delicious. The portions generous, the margarita amazing and the service was absolutely delightful.

I've been to SCORES of Mexican Restaurants...throughout Ca..Oregon...El Molcajete is SO CONSISTENT is just a breath of fresh air...I highly recommend the Chile Verde...omg it's so good..actual Chilies in the Chile Verde....

In the land where you pay more and get less, it’s not that way here you start out with beans, salsa and chips and as soon as you’re out, they have great service and offer you more with no guilt. Their food is excellent at atmosphere is excellent thank you once again for an awesome lunch Were from Roseburg and every time we come to Medford, we got to eat here. Keep up the good work guys you’re killing it.

I've been here twice with my family and both times it was a great dining experience. When you walk in you're greeted by friendly people and brought to your table. The restaurant is very clean and well-decorated. The food itself is amazing, you have large portions, and a wide variety of foods and everything seems to be cooked well. The atmosphere is pretty good too, even when they're busy things get a little loud but it's a comforting kind of chatter in the background for me, you can still easily hear your companions. I'd highly recommend this restaurant if you want a yummy, clean, and overall great dining experience.

We had El Molcajete cater a fajita bar for our wedding last month. They were super easy to work with and the food was great! I would recommend them. Pickup was easy and they provided serving materials for the event.

Hands-down, the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Services excellent everybody is friendly Prices are great. You get ample amount of food and the prices are great! I would definitely recommend this to everyone! Every time we’re in town, we live in California, We have to make a detour to eat here. my husband gets the molcajete burrito and I get the steak fajitas. The Molcajete bowl here is thee best anywhere.

The signature El Molcajete dish tastes amazing. Three of us enjoyed it for a late lunch. The chili rellenos are also especially excellent here.

Made new friends. It was busy for the 2 person FOH operation but they were fantastic and helpful. The shredded beef was a little dry for me but just fine when I added salsa and refried beans to the mix.

Oh my gosh soooo much amazing food we all took some home to eat off for days! The mole, vegie burrito, fajitas, and aros con camarones were all spectacular. Good attentive staff....yah ya gotta eat here

Had a delicious lunch here for a great price and great service! I got the lunch special of tostada and enchilada. It was a bit over $10 and left me with another meal I had to take home! The waiter and waitress came to check on us all multiple times and were very nice. I 12/10 recommend! Such a great place 😄

Living up to its advertising. We’re from Houston, Texas looking for a good Mexican restaurant in Medford, Oregon. We stopped in other Mexican restaurants but was Leary to go in. Will they have the same expectations we have coming from a texmex state? We decided to take a chance on El Mocajete Mex grill. We’re not disappointed! Food were fantastic. Their margarita is phenomenal. Grande with 1800 tequila was exactly how we want it. Not just lime flavored drink. It was a true margarita. Service was awesome and fast. Hooray to our server Osvaldo. We found our Mexican restaurant in Medford Oregon.

BEST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD IN THE ROGUE VALLEY!!! Excellent personable service from super friendly staff! They also have a full bar where they create some AMAZING cocktails and add their own flair to drinks like the Cadillac. And, kids eat for $1 on Sunday.

After moving to southern Oregon, we really did not find great Mexican food until now. El Molcajete is amazing, authentic, incredible service and food. When visiting Medford, they have two locations, and both are amazing!!!

Good service and good food. My wife had the Caldo de Pollo (chicken soup) and I had the Machaca, shredded beef and eggs mixed, with refried beans and rice on the plate. Our server & our food were 5 ⭐️! I can’t say enough about the food. 25 years in So Cal, 25 years in NM, & we’ve been in the northern Oregon area for 6 years. And, this is by far the best Mexican food we’ve found since moving here. Here’s hoping they find their way up north! Delicious!!!

This was our first visit here even though we have lived in the valley for thirty years... what took us so long? Very festive decor. Great staff and service..we had three different people waiting on us. Good inexpensice lunch menu. For $10.50 a choice of two items that comes with rice, beans, and Mexican coleslaw. Also a special sweet treat after lunch. Really like that they start you with a free apie of warm beans with salsa and torilla chips. Lunch was served on a huge platter size plate. We had enough left overs for dinner that night. It's now our go to place for Mexican food.

My wife and I are regulars. We went there yesterday for a lunch date. I found a long hair in my queso dip. I pulled it out and showed the server and he did not care whatsoever. We were seriously digusted the rest of our meal. It was so annoying that they did not care. We spend a lot of money at this restaurant. I'm not sure if we will be going back.

I love myself some Mexican food, and El Molcajete is the best in Medford. This place will knock your socks off! Truly authentic. Awesome drinks. Tasty deserts. The whole staff is very friendly and they all give excellent service. I can't say enough about this place. Amaze Ballz! 🫠

This place has such an amazing atmosphere. Our server was funny, kind, attentive, patient and accommodating. I'm an insanely picky eater and I really am not a fan of Mexican food, but the food here was so good!

This is supposed to be Mexican food right ? Well the flour tortillas are not made there they are not fresh also the taco shells not made on site . My meal had no taste at all my wife's was very salty. Service is good and restaurant is nice but stuff made to make your food I think comes from Costco

I had a large combo, one enchilada and two tacos. The meet in both the tacos and enchilada was so salty it was inedible. I was as excited to try this place because I have heard how good it was. But I was so disappointed in the food. It was just bad. Made both myself andy husband feel ill. I do not recommend.

Our go to Mexican sit down restaurant in Southern OR. The food is more than plentiful, super tasty and very reasonably priced. Service is also attentive and spirited. The drinks are HUGE so you typically can only finish one. Go hungry and you will not be disappointed.

This place is soooo good! First off your served delicious refried beans with salsa and melted cheese and chips, then the food was absolutely amazingly delicious! Not too slow either!

We're san diego natives, passing through on a road trip and even though we get plenty of amazing Mexican food in San Doego and TJ, El Molcajete will haunted dreams of amazing Mexican meals. Get the Molcajete... it will most certainly be more food than you can eat... whether you are the biggest eater or a family of 5. It's a huge delicious meal. The service was quick and friendly and welcoming- it was our first time stopping in and we felt like family. Atmosphere was lovely as well. Tratavera tiles and bright frescoes pained on the booths.

We have visited several times and service is always good as is the food.

Staff was very efficient. The wait was minimal for as busy as they were.

Visited for lunch by recommendation July 2023 - this is a great place. Good and attentive service, excellent food. It is a bit out of the way from shopping and things but we’ll worth the 5 minute drive.

Love this place! There are so many good choices. The salsa and bean dip are really good. The food comes out fast. After you eat, if you order a drink, you get tequila poppers and everyone gets sopapillas. Love these little details. We shared the Ranchero Molcajete, and it was amazing!

This is our "Go To" place to eat for date nights. The food is excellent and you get way more than you can eat, the servers are always friendly and attentive.

I've eaten there... And I gone and taken food home. And every time it's excellent! The flavor is spot on, and the presentation, even on takeout, is very nice. I've had many things there over the years and I have yet to say I don't like something. And even their food that you wouldn't think is Mexican, like the chicken wings and thighs, are really good! Good! I mean they are really really good! However, I would suggest having the sauce on the side for that.

El mocaljete touched my soul today, when your sitting there hungry and this great big plate of the most delicious Mexican food I've had in southern Oregon arrives and hits the table in front of you, there's no feeling of greater joy and when you take your first bite and the absolutely amazing house sauce touches your tongue that surrounds the succulent bits of chicken and your taste buds completely explode, it's to die for. 👌
