The Mexican burger is the good thing

i actually rate this below one because well it got all my family food poisoning and got them to throw up a lot and poop a lot i would always get this place years ago it was fine except my stomach would hurt a little now when i got it yesterday i threw up this morning with a bad stomach ache and threw up bad and notice it was the food from this place i got yesterday cuz that’s the only thing i ate all day.

So awhile back we went to El Puerto, made our order and because Rude Ruby can't understand English well she got our order wrong like before. Then we tell her our order is wrong and she throws my debit card at me and said I was rude. So I wrote a review. Well we go back to try and get our business to them and again we're met w Rude Ruby again she recognizes us and turns to some short little man and said in spanish these are the girls from last time not knowing I totally understand wat she is saying. So this little man comes to the window w his chest out like he was gonna do something. Didn't say a word. So let me tell you this. You come here and make a business. Wat u don't understand is that us the customers make your business. Instead of talking and trying to make things right w ur customer you the owner agree w the rudeness of ur employee. So now we know where her attitude comes from. To all people if u wanna b treated horribly go to El Puesto one your order is always wrong because she doesn't understand English well, second they are just RUDE. You want good food and great treatment I recommend Taqueria Jalisco. So to El Puesto have a great day and que Dios estas con ustedes

Worst burritos ever! They messed up our order and then they didn't wanna remake it or refund our money. Which we didn't even want the money we just wanted them to fix it .. the girl at the window was rude and her boss was even ruder. If I could give a negative star rating I would times infinity. I had to give one star in order to post my review .. they suck! # worst burritos ever#

The burritos were gross. La espiga de Oro burritos are the best in Clovis New Mexico. The manager is very rude and customer service is not one of the qualitys they obtain and good food is not one either. I have to leave a star to leave a review or they would of never even got a ⭐ #WORST BURRITOS EVER#

Don't go eat here. Trust me the food order is always wrong. Made an order,this morning and we told Ruby the girl who took our order she messed up our order. She was upset so all I said to her was she needed to pay attention and she practically threw my debit card to me and said I no serve you u rude. The nerve of her. Ruby is her name and being rude is her game. Lol Let's blast her for being rude. Ruby learn English w follow me

They have the BEST green chili breakfast burritos. I ordered my granddaughters the kids pancakes and they loved them. And the ladies there are sooo nice. I really love this place. Keep up the great work and the great food..mmmm

I’ve been going here for a while now they constantly forget to put the meat in my breakfast burritos sometimes I go back and have them fix it sometimes I just take it as is but this last time I ordered my food they forgot to put my meat in it once again so I go back to have my burrito remade I get attitude from the workers just because I didn’t bring the original burrito back. OK for them always messing up my orders I felt like it was only fair they just replace the burrito I give them a one star Due to it always being an issue with my orders and because the horrible customer service I experienced today.

Got an adovada burrito and it was only ok. It dripped greasy sauce EVERYWHERE and made a huge mess. And the melon agua frescas was awful, straight out of a mix or something with a bunch of stuff settled at the bottom after not very long. Nothing "frescas" about it. I won't go back. Oh and the girl at the window taking orders was short and rude, not friendly at all.

Be careful don't use you debit or credit card here because they charge you twice and when you say something to them the same day and even went after the 3 day to see if it took out of my bank and it did ended up getting charged for a 35$ meal to and 87$ charge and they didn't want to pay me back they acted like they couldn't see it doubled charged worst place to eat overpriced and they will steal your money and say it wasn't them had to cancel my bank card and get a whole other one just to dispute and get my money back what a worthless place

Not only is the wait time long, they never get the order right & they’re rude about it.

This restaurant has gotten real sorry.The last 3 times I've went, they have messed up my order & were very rude about it. This place will never get my families money again. Rude & lazy workers that act like you're lying about the order that they messed up.

It's pretty sad that you pay almost $7 for a burrito and it doesn't have anything but tortilla.

Me and my family went thru the drive thru and got chorizo breakfast burritos and went to eat them at the park when we almost choked on multiple huge pieces of plastic. Knowing from experience that it was most likely the chorizo wrapper We tried to go back and talk to them and instead they called us liars and said they were gonna call the police what kind of people treat you with that hospitality. If I could give zero stars I would.

Pretty good. We had thier lunch burrito and enchiladas. All I can say is that the enchiladas could have had more sauce they were a bit dry. The horchata was pretty good. I'll definitely stop here again for a quick bite.

El Puesto is my favorite Asada burrito location in town. They use real food and take the time to make it right! Their sauce has a great kick to it and adds to an already excellent meal. Make sure you take the time to stop in and try them sometime. They are small and drive-thru only... but for the quality and price, you can't beat it.

Has the smallest drive thru in the world and I wouldn't recommend coming through in a vehicle that has to do wide turns... But it has dang good Mexican food. RIP my arteries, but if I'm ever looking for a good price, and tasty Mexican food, this is my go to place. (Worst drive thru in Clovis goes to Long John Silvers, just putting that out there for people who are even thinking about going there)

The burritos are absolutely amazing.. If you want great menudo go early cause they run out super quick.. A must try but they make the food fresh so don't be in a hurry its always busy so you will have a wait just depends on how busy they are..

Here at El Puesto I enjoy their breakfast burritos exspecially the green chili egg and potatoe with ground beef and cheese. They have many other options and they fix it as you like it.

Loveeeee to get food from here. Soo good but greasy occasionally. Only real complaint is that the building is so narrow you absolutely cannot just drive around without having to reverse a bit to get to the other window. **UPDATE** Still love their food. Definitely recommend getting a burrito with red pork and potatoes if you can handle the heat. Delicious. Always get great service and if you want to literally drive and go.. Call and place your order before driving there. They aren't a fast food service and it takes time to create such yumminess.

This place is delicious! It takes a little bit for your order but its well worth the wait. The nacho supreme, tortas, juevos rancheros and burritos are my favorite. The choices are many. If you havent eaten there you need to!

They are slow and they need to move thatcar up front so we can see on coming traffic you can't see the car's coming with that big SUV in the way

I'm not from this area I moved here in 2012 and have always struggled to find good Mexican food. This place has the best burritos and Mexican burger. Its only a drive through and usually the wait is between 10-20 mins depending on the lines. Mexican style burger with normal fries is very good. They have few aguas frescas that are usually better than the competitors. Burritos are good. Nachos are not so good because they use ground beef and a not so good cheese. You can ask for carne asada (grilled steak) instead or whatever meat you prefer in your nachos. Their tortas are pretty good. Definitely worth a drive through just keep some extra napkins handy.

We love the adovada and brisket here. The guacamole is also great...sometimes. Some days it is the perfect mix of avocado and pico de gallo and some days it is mostly onions and jalapeños with a touch of guacamole and tomatoes. Unfortunately, the other day when I got a small portion of guacamole it was awesome and today when I got the larger container it seemed like they added more onions and jalapeños to make it stretch further which resulted in an unpleasant dish of jalapeños and onions instead of guacamole. Still the best Mexican food in town!

I grew up eating traditional Mexican food and when I think of Tacos I think of tortilla meat cilantro onions lime and spicy salsa. When I saw how their Tacos were prepared here I was skeptical because they had lettuce tomatoes and melted cheese on top. Despite my thoughts I gave them a shot with the delicious salsa they provided and they weren't bad at all! The tortilla seem to be fried a little with oil which gave it extra flavor and a slight crunch. The red salsa spicy enough and really complimented the taco to the point where no lime was needed . I would definitely recommend the Carne asada Tacos!

I haven't lived in clovis since 2012 but I still talk about my beloved huevos rancheros with green sauce from this restaurant.

I love there food it's so amazing but...............they have one lady that is very rude and sometimes when I order from her it's not correct but honestly I love the food so much I'll keep going back just hope they set her straight

Llamado en un orden para dos filetes burritos para ir viajando de Zion a Austin. Me dijeron listo en 10 minutos. Entramos en 12 minutos más tarde y recogió dos increíbles burritos en tortillas frescas y estábamos en la calle feliz de estar comiendo buena comida.

Mi esposa y yo comimos aquí recientemente como escuchamos cosas buenas. No nos decepcionó. Los precios eran buenos y las porciones son abundantes. No sabíamos las horas y llegamos justo en cierre que era las 3 p.m. El personal fue muy atento y no nos convierte lejos. Hicimos nuestra orden y fue servido con prontitud a nosotros. Yo lo recomendaría este establecimiento cualquier día y volveremos.
