I go to this place just for the super delicious roast chicken and the very delicious sauce.

I am a lover of Peruvian food. Many times it is difficult for me to find a Peruvian restaurant that has Leche De Tigre. Well I found this since I live in Cedar Hill. And I still drove to Aya to go eat. Order some Anticuchos and Leche de Tigre to whet your appetite. My husband ordered a Lomo Saltado and I had a Mixed Ceviche (seafood ceviche like they have on their menu). Everything was perfect. The Tigre milk was very delicious. The anticuchos lacked some flavor but they were delicious. The lomo saltado was delicious too. . But oh my goodness when I took my plate to start eating my ceviche. It had a hair among all the fish. I looked at it long before trying the food. Since I was removing the mussels and that's when I noticed the hair tangled between the fish. I understand that accidents happen but when I went to tell one of the waitresses and she returned the plate, those in the kitchen, including the lady who was there, looked at me like they didn't believe I was returning the plate. I didn't order more or ask for the dish again, I just waited for my husband to finish eating and we left. It's just a comment for you to be careful. I think they need much more customer service since our waitress only came once to bring us our food and never came back. The atmosphere is nice but they lack customer service VERY MUCH.

As a Peruvian, I know how to prepare the Lomo saltado, but they sent (they prepared something that looked like thin and dry milanesa, please, that is one of the reasons I will never return. And with this they definitively fired me, do not scam the Peruvian one who is going to buy for to eat and not to beg for food, and on top of that they think that they are alive. It is like telling the King of the Punas that they want to sell llamas and the chili not to add so much water that it is thicker for the next one who arrives and not to be scammed. 😡

Ever since I tried this place I’ve been hooked. The food is fresh and service is great. Seafood for seafood it’s better and actually fresh unlike the other places up the road.

Live music. Great tasting food. Frescolita available was a nice surprise. Ceviche was amazing!!

I'm been known from the old location. The owners how to expand the new location very nicely like you don't have to go to country. You can buy or try a lot of products from this country.

Yesterday I went with my family... I ordered rice with seafood... A fiasco, its taste was terrible and it was supposed to be seafood But it was just dough with thick coloring and a few squid, the braised chicken needless to say, it seemed a paloma🕊️ the only good thing was their ceviche.. But otherwise nothing happens... They sell everything super expensive.

Ordered delivery, they never showed up. Called them and they promised it in twenty minutes. Lies. Called again and they hung up on me. Don't order from here if you're hungry.

First time in a long time that I have entered a Peruvian restaurant and I feel that it is going to be an excellent experience. And so it was. From the moment you enter you notice the cleanliness (which is very important). It didn't smell bad like in other Peruvian restaurants (other than Gourmet). The variety of the menu surprised me because it was not the usual standard. They have cause (which you just can't find in the US), Bread with pork rinds!!🙌. Choros a la chalaca and others. The dishes are very filling and enough to share. The flavor is unmatched. The ingredients and the cook were brought from Lima. And you can see it! They have a little store with imported items including sweets and chocolates. Just like that you can't find Doña Pepa nougat anymore. And that they have Lucuma ice cream!? 👌👌 Much success for this place and we will definitely return.

I called for information about one of their ducks... and they answered me badly and hung up on me twice and until Monday they couldn't give information, they are rude... I'm not going to do anything there.

I ordered a Lomo Saltado, it was salty, and the meat was dry with no flavor. The ceviche even worse it came with a heavy cream instead of having leche de tigre...

They take too long to bring you your food

Real Peruvian will never use fake food. My Parihuela was full of fake crablegg and missing other ingredients

Coming from MN and looking at reviews we were expecting better , but disappointed. The quantity or portions were huge so credit for that . The chicamorada was really good .

Horrible experience. I’m from Houston and I’m very disappointed. I came here by next day after the soccer game, the food was horrible, service was awful. The owner was quick to charge us for the food but did not make sure his customers were satisfied. NEVER AGAIN! Also, there were so many flies inside the restaurant, HORRIBLE!

We went in to order food for breakfast and we sat down and no one came to even greet us, we went to talk to the owner if we were ordering at the table or at the counter and he told us to sit down, sat down waiting for 10 more min, and then he proceeded to take a big groups order that just walked to the door and we walked out never recommending this place to peruvians

The waitresses forget everything, good service counts a lot in this place, I go because I like the food but I never receive good service there

The food was absolutely amazing. The service the same! The waitress from Peru, recommended from the menu and it wasn't the most expensive items either. The food was authentically flavorful and they also sell Peruvian grocery items and folkloric items. They have a variety of bottled drinks and they also provide a daily menu of fresh smoothies. They had live music and I was pleasantly surprised. The music was varied and a great voice on the gentlemen. We had tamal, papa a la guancaina, pollo asado, and el tío eduardo that is a sampler of ceviche, arroz de cilantro and a stew of tripe and potatoes un a thick sauce.

The chaufa rice is not good, they are lowering the quality.

Excellent place to share with family and very good food

When we arrived at the place they served us immediately like any other restaurant, something that I didn't like at all was that the food didn't arrive all together or at least most of it, the dishes arrived one by one. I ordered a ceviche and fried fish with rice with seafood, the ceviche is average, I have eaten better in whole restaurants, the fried fish is cold as a dead man, it seemed like it was leftovers from the previous day, the rice with seafood was good, in general I was very excited about the food because I had been told that Peruvian food was very good. Another thing I didn't like at all was the lack of attention from the waitresses, they never came back to the table to see if we needed anything else such as water, we were dry of water and we had to eat all the food without any water I don't know if it is a Peruvian custom not to drink anything with food but we are not in Peru.

I ordered a fried fish and it was cold.

No one there speaks English you have to go in with a translator app when I call and try to place an order I get hung up on so I decided to do online order and the manager didn’t know how to use his email by simply hitting refresh. Had my daughter waiting for an hour Saying that we did not pay even though we show proof that my card was charged. Every time I go to this restaurant, I always get overcharged. I have to show my previous receipt. This will be the last time I step foot in this restaurant.

Very nice place to go with friends

Had ceviche and loved it. Everyone was really nice. My only complaint is that the people next to us had their dog in the restaurant at the table with them while they ate. And to clarify, it was coming up and smelling and licking people, and was not marked as a service animal. This was someone's pet that behaved like a pet, not a service animal. That's gross.

My 1st time going to a Peruvian restaurant and OMG!🥰 My family LOVED IT!! Service was great. You can tell they care about their customers by how they treat and talk to you. I felt like I knew the Man for a while. Food was Verry different yet soooo delicious!! Definitely going back soon 💖I even bought a beautiful Peruvian handmade doll 🥰

I've been coming to this restaurant way before the new location. Absolutely great food! Had a Peruvian friend come through the restaurant to make sure it is an authentic Peruvian restaurant and it passed the test! Lol

Everything tastes true Peruvian food! This is still my favorite Peruvian restaurant. Just a detail. The chicken chili was not to the point. It lacked the smoothness of the milk flavor and had so much yellow chili pepper in it, I think, that it made it taste bitter. It is difficult even in Peru itself to find a very tasty ají de gallina, so I don't judge. And anyway I'm going to keep going because everything else is perfect

Terrible service at this place. They took our order and after 45 minutes they approached us to tell us if we could order something else because what we wanted had already run out. The attention is simply horrible. And the owner doesn't care if his customers are being well served or not. I don't recommend a place at all.

Don't order the ceviche. I repeat, don't order the ceviche. Everything else is worth the try but the ceviche was a huge lukewarm, meh attempt. I couldn't even finish half of my plate.

First time trying Peruvian cuisine and it was great! Family style restaurant, you come in and sit then they'll come to take your order. You pay at the counter. I had the rice dish, arroz con mariscos, and would definitely come back for more. The service is a bit slow, but it was Saturday night. The server doesn't speak English well, so some pointing and gesturing required if you don't speak Spanish. Host (owner) was super friendly.

We ordered the arroz chaufa, ceviche de pescado, pollo rostizado and lomo salteado. Arroz Chaufa was amazing, I haven't had arroz chaufa like that in a very long time. The ceviche de pescado was fresh, taste was great and the portion was very generous. Pollo rostizado with the green sauce it was my favorite. Lomo salteado was very good, steak tastes amazing. My only downside and I am pretty sure I got unlucky is that the waitress was rude and did not provide a good service, which I the end I didn't mind since the food was so good. When we were done with our meal, I went to the cashier to pay and the owner is a man with a great vibe, I told him how good the food was and that I wanted a passion fruit juice to go. He said, I'll give to you for free, I love that you loved the food. I forgot about the service that rude lady gave me.

I never tried this place and wanted to try for the first time. I had called and placed an order, when I came to pick it up, it wasn't ready even though the lady said it was ready when I called to double check. She said 10 more minutes and she started serving other customers. I was waiting for 20 minutes and decided to leave since she didn't seem to care about my order. Take out didn't look important to them because it was full of people, with no one available to help

The food was reasonably priced considering the huge portions. Service was fast, the place was clean. The gift shop had handmade sheepskin imports from Peru for $20 and up. We bought a gay pride rainbow llama. ☺️

Absolutely phenomenal! The atmosphere was as authentic as the sunrise its self, with all staff being fluent in Spanish, leaving me to pointing and the use of body language to order. Food was nothing short of spectacular, especially the rotisserie chicken. My favorite part was how humble the employees conducted the sales transaction, it made me feel as if I was their very first customer!

Definitely a treasure I went for the first time with the rib and we ate a lomo saltado and a mixed rice chaufa. Aassuuu how delicious. In Lima I had difficulty finding the crystal sports shirt, but the firm one from Adidas Here the guy had it for a good price and quality. The food was excellent and now they have one more customer for life. Thank my Lord Until next time

This is an authentic Peruvian restaurant. The food was great, and the staff was very attentive. They also have a small shop with a variety of Peruvian items. The bathrooms were very cleaned too. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant.

Delicious and abundant food. Sadly the servers bring you the food and that's it. We had to ask for refills of the glasses of water. The ladies' bathroom seems to have been around for several decades even though the restaurant has recently moved there. I will definitely go back for the food NOT the service.

I kept seeing this place on Google Maps so me & my husband decided to try it on a weekend. This was my first time eating out after I recovered from being sick (unrelated to the place!!) & not finding anything appetizing for a long time. The picante ceviche hit the spot! 😍 We also loved the chicharrón de pescado and other platos de mariscos. Food is amazing and the people are so nice & friendly, from our waitress to the owner & the live performers, they were all very very sweet & made us feel welcomed. We had a lovely evening here. Highly recommend.

Everything was great. Only , I’m a senior and can’t drive that far to go more often I live in Haslet/ Keller Area. Open one closer. We need Peruvian and Cuban food closer to this areas !!

This place makes me feel like I am in Peru. The food is delicious and the nearest to the traditional flavor of our beloved Peru. They also have a mini grocery at the entrances with the traditional ingredients needed for the dishes. Plus, they have souvenir items available to purchase. Flags, shirts, key chains, candy, ect.

I was just in Dallas for a visit, and my in-laws took me to this restaurant the first night of my arrival, and my goodness!! Affordable prices, wonderful yummy Peruvian Food!! and plus, have like a little "bodega" with Peruvian products to sell! I wish they have one in Pearland -Houston! Peruvian food has not comparison...love it!

Excellent service and food! Unfortunately, the Manager or owner who is charging has a very arrogant attitude and speaks very badly to his employees and that makes the customers uncomfortable!
