Have been ordering these to go for years now. We take them uncooked and freeze them to cook later. They are delicious. They are also fantastic hot obviously. I have even taken them camping!

Best empanadas in the I.E. staff is amazing, food is amazing, and the store is full of Argentina/Messi memorabilia 🇦🇷🇦🇷 really love this place

I stumbled upon this little gem. I only tried the empanadas both baked and fried and they were all delicious! Authentic and at an excellent price. Parking is limited and everything is to go as there is no where to eat there. If you're in the area, check it out, you won't be disappointed. I definitely plan on returning.

Came by today on accident. I was going to the restaurant next door. Service was great! Very nice lady. The empanadas were absolutely amazing. I only got one and it was the spicy beef. I’ll be back for more. The filling was very flavorful and the dough was so crispy and flaky. Highly recommend this place

At the last minute I ordered 18 empanadas. They said no problem. They are delicious.

The empanadas are delicious and at $2.99 well priced all great but my favorite was the spicy beef, my wife liked the Criolla, and my kids liked the pepperoni and cheese, ham and cheese. The only thing I was not a fan of was the chimichurri they used all dehydrated herbs and had to pay extra for it. Good spot but skip the sauce!

I was walking along the back of the restaurant and came along the owner of this restaurant, I spoke to her for 2 mins and she could see that I was homeless and hungry. She offered me some food out of the Goodness of her heart and I must say THEY WERE AWESOME!!! God Bless this place and bless her business to overflow. If your in the area stop by it's great food and leave her a tip for me

Me and my wife finally got a chance to try this place out. We couldn't order everything so we started with the Criolla,Saltena, Chicken, and Spicy Chicken . They were all BOMB 💣 so it's hard to pick a favorite. We also bought the sweet empanadas (apple,pineapple, pumpkin and Dulce de leche) We were recommended to try (@home)the dulce de leche warm with Ice Cream on top and it was amazing. This place is a must have !!

Delicious. Not only that but very friendly service. Best part is the empanadas are made to order so you know you'll be getting a fresh one every time. And they don't skimp on the fillings. A definite 5 stars and 2 thumbs up

I would have liked much less cumin in my criolla empanadas. Seems like the recipe changed from a few years ago. Other than that, it is a great place to pick up to go food. I also like the option of taking the empanadas home to bake.

After months wanting to go, we finally made it today! Pretty disappointed!!! Small & overpriced empanadas, flavor was ok, but not worth the almost $3 per piece. They did not include chimichurri, not even a small portion (?). We also purchased a dulce de leche roll, and it was more than expensive than other Latino places and NOT fresh!!

The popular criolla which consists of ground beef, olives, raisins, eggs and onions. The Saltena; finely chopped steak, potatoes, red pepper and onion. Lastly, the seasonal peach empanada. Both the savory empanadas were absolutely delicious seasoned to perfection and was served very hot! The seasonal peach empanada was tasty but because I was so full, I took a couple bites and decided to save it for after dinner. The only recommendation I have for patrons is to eat the empanadas hot and fresh because they do not hold very well.

Stopped to get empanadas during a drive they were super good and everyone was very nice. Took about 8 min to get us about a dozen and they packed the sweet ones separate from the rest.

Empanadas are very good here. I usually order the spinach and cheese, chicken, and beef. Don't forget the chimchuri sauce, it compliments the Empanadas.

Starving on the freeway sitting in typical traffic asked Google we're good food was, found this place hidden away, never had a better empanada.

Looked them up on google, clicked on website and decided to call in the order. Website says $2.20 for some and $1.90 for other empanadas, I call to order 2 dozen. When given a total, it's much higher then expected. I ask why. Prices are higher. $2.69 for all empanadas, been like that for a while she says. Why is website wrong??? Have Google take down the site or fix it. It is not right!!! I have yet to try the empanadas. I will update review when I try them.

They used to sell big empanadas. But I guess 🤷 they have to save more money now with the economy!! Really small, high price. But good flavor 😋.

I have been coming to Empanadas to go since right after they opened and I love them!! The chicken (spicy or regular) and veggie are my favorites. I like them baked the best in regular or mini. They are a huge hit at my work. I see everyone drooling when I walk in the door with a box. And the seasoned oil it comes with is amazing! I like the hot sauce too on the chicken empanadas. Yum! Now I'm hungry!

I am so happy we found this place! We tried almost every meat empanada and the apple sweet empanada, and they were all awesome! My favorites were the BBQ pork and the criolla empanadas. Definitely going back to try more!

Absolutely delicious! Loved the Criola and Cordobesa empanadas. Can’t go wrong with beef. As the name states, it’s literally a to-go establishment (no tables) although there are about 4 seats there while you wait for your empanadas to be cooked for you. 👍👍

I have been craving empanadas for 2 years , finally I got to go and try them.when I was reading the menu it all sounded the same to me so it was hard to decide but the guy who helped us was really patient we got about 8 empanadas and 2 dulce de leche.all the meat are different very tasty some have olives and a little piece of egg but ist really good oh I got half fried and half baked personally I like the fried ones and one of the spicy beef I got was so good too bad it was my last one and I was full they are small but they fill you up real fast .take extra money then your expecting to use because they have sweet treats too.

Purchased two dozen empanadas to take to a party. Had a choice of about a dozen different types of stuffing. I opted to keep it simple and went with steak and cheese, beef, chicken and spicy beef. The staff here are always very nice and accommodating. I was concerned about having enough chimichurri dipping sauce and found a couple of extras included with my order. Thank you! Well, needless to say, the empanadas were the hit of the party. While there was more than enough other foods at the party, it appeared that everyone had to have at least a couple of empanadas and most inquired as to where I bought them. While Chino may be off the beaten path if you are not from the area, this party was in Newport Beach, it’s not too far to drive for the best empanadas around! Thank you Empanadas To Go!
