They have vegan empanadas and great sauce. The staff are helpful and the food is made to go fast.

Great food. The place itself is fine. Very casual spot. Nothing to write home about. The only complaint I have (and it's a small one) is that I don't feel the price you pay quite matches what you get. It's not that far off, but I feel like every time I buy a sizeable amount of empanadas I always find myself wishing I got 1-2 more for the money. Not a big thing, but it adds up.

Great place but you can walk right past it if you’re not careful. Try the mushroom and chicken empanadas!

Be open when you say you are open. I drove 8 miles to find your open sign lit but door locked.

I ordered 2 Chicken Empanadas, 1 Buffalo Chicken Empanada, a side of the chimichurri sauce, and a side of a spicy sauce. The Buffalo chicken empanada (the one in my picture) was delicious by itself. The regular Chicken empanadas were amazing with the chimichurri sauce and the spicy sauce. There was so much flavor in each bite!

Yummy empanadas. I bought 2 doz. to bake at home. Beef, chicken, Buffalo chicken, mushroom, BBQ pork and corn. Great taste and good size. 2 are enough for lunch!

I'm A big fan of Empanadus in La Grange. Their food is always fresh made and their flavors are excellent. The pie crust is the best I've tasted to date. They check all the boxes for me. Thanks guys, this puts a smile on my face every time. Check this place out, Very satisfying !

For the price you pay empanadus is the best value for your money. The empanadas are amazing the chimicuri sauce is a great add on with the empanadas. I would highly reccomend if you want a snack or a full meal. Get one as a snack, or 4 for a full meal!

They do not put enough filling to justify the price of the empanada. I went to a place in Carol Stream, they had twice the filling these have. It's just not worth the price.

I have been here a few times already for their vegan empanadas, and they never disappoint. Filling and reasonably priced. Highly recommend the Impossible and potato and bean vegan empanadas. The staff are wonderful too - I didn’t catch a name, but the lady taking our orders saw we were ordering all vegan and gave us a free vegan caprese to try!!

Empanadus is great. Just a small tip for the owner. Seal the packages before handing them to the delivery drivers.

Love the vegan options! I usually order 1 of each, have to wait 10 minutes while they're being cooked since it's not one of their immediately ready empanadas. It's good with or without the chimchurri salsa

They have a large variety and I love every one I've tried. After the lunch crunch they get kind of sold out and have limited selection and aren't too enthusiastic about heating up new ones that are not top sellers after about 2pm, which I understand, but I really like certain ones that are not popular like onion. But really yummy and not very expensive. They stamp the flavor on the side of the empanada which is fun and useful.

Delicious to the finest!!! Amazing flavor especially the BBQ pork & sausage empanada, the chimichurri is a must add on to the empanadas.

Tried this spot out for lunch today. I've always wanted to like empanadas but always felt something just wasn't right. THIS PLACE HOWEREVER, they have just served me 8 of the most flavorful stuffed deliciousness that put a smile on my face as I tasted each and every single one. The range of flavors is vast and vibrant. If you are looking for the perfect empanadas, look no more, just walk through this door.

Nothing special Nothing bad about this place. The hand made Empanadas are a nice treat. During restaurant week in Lagrange they offers a free Chimichurri sauce with my order. What the hell??? You used to get Chimichurri sauce with an order of 1 to any amount of Empanadas. Now it's a bonus. Not cool. Certainly doesn't make me want to come back and I've been here a few times.

Really great especially around the holidays when the kids are home and visitors come. Something for everyone’s tastes incl. vegetarian. Always fresh, convenient, totally a go to. Economical but also a treat- way better than pizza! Would recommend to anyone.

Got a late lunch on a Saturday. Very empty but that made it easy to get my order which was 3 empanadas (beef, chicken, spinach). Very tasty and flavorful along with the sauce. I was short on time so I ordered what was readily available.

So delicious! I ordered the beef and the BBQ pork empanadas as well as the Nutella and banana empanada. It was so amazing. Highly recommend.

This was my first time visiting Empanadus in LaGrange. The place was clean, the young man at counter was pleasant and the selection of the empanadas was good. I decided to try a chicken pot pie, a mushroom and cheese and a four cheese along with sauce. The empanadas were all delicious and the sauce for me was just okay. I am used to having a more spicy sauce with my empanadas. Overall, I will definitely go back and try a few more whenever I am in Lagrange again. I suggest stopping by and at least trying one.

The best Empanadas I’ve ever had!! You have to check it out and try all the different flavors. My kids really enjoyed them too. We ended up taking some home to bake later too. Great find! Will go back.

Absolutely delicious! I was driving through lagrange and stumbled upon this restaurant. Small restaurant with a good selection of Empanadas! I tried Spinach, beef, chicken and bbq pork. All of them very tasty, fresh! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quick bite or if you are looking to buy many empanadas - you can order in bulk! Double thumbs up!!

Can't write about the dine in experience, but the catering was great! Had an event and catered 40 empanadas and 24 alfajores. Invoices were timely enough and food was delivered right on time. Definitely recommend the ham and cheese and the caprese!

Food was really good and fresh! Walked in there and was welcomed by the two young employees who were very patient and helpful. They recommended their favorites which I haven’t tried before today and they were very good. The first few times I went, I got Buffalo chicken. Really good and a staple! Always take some to go! Highly recommend :)

First time trying Argentinian food. Tried few different ones and loved them all, I had to wait for 20 mins for my order which I understand. It wasn't cheap compared to its size (you will probably gonna be hungry in couple hours), yet the more you order the cheaper it gets.

Food is good and price is right. However, dine in experience leaves a lot to be desired. No bathroom to wash hands, no sanitizer, and no plates, with food for two people provided in a single basket. Try delivery or pick up.

My family always loves this restaurant! They beg for it. The people are very nice and the food is such a change from American fare, while also being palatable for non-adventurous eaters.

I was so glad to found an Argentine restaurant nearby 🇦🇷 Their broccoli and spinach empanadas were amazing! I loved the chimichurri sauce as it added even more flavor to the empanadas. I will definitely come here again! If you're looking for empanadas then I highly recommend them from Empanadus!

The BEST Empanadas! We have tried everything on the menu and it's all so delicious! I normally grab a dozen so that we can try an assortment. These empanadas are great for lunch, dinner, sharing with friends/family. My 4 year old approves (his favorites are the sausage, corn, ham & cheese). And make sure you get extra chimichurri sauce too!

We just stopped by for a quick lunch and it was delicious! We got 2 chicken (so good!), 1 spinach (excellent!), and 1 beef (unique and tasty!) to go. Our meal with 2 drinks was under $15! Really nice staff, the perfect to go food! Chimichurri sauce came with both and added just the right touch for all the flavors.

Delicious empanadas. Staff is really nice. There are some discrepancies between in-store and online pricing. They can also be a bit slow if busy. But their food keeps me coming back. Very much recommended.

Great place for authentic Argentinian empanadas. My wife and I just got back from Buenos Aires and were searching for some of the food we had on our trip. We came across this place and couldn’t tell the difference between these and the ones we got there. I will surely be back

Been looking for a good empanada place since I discovered how magical they can be on a trip to Argentina in 2009. The three best places I've been to in the states so far: one place in Dallas, one place in Milwaukee (strangely), and here. Fortunately I live near here so I can go get some of these tasty treats any time I want! I don't think anything will beat the ones I had in Argentina, but these are really good without getting on an airplane for 13 hours to eat meat pockets! All three I had were grest: bbq pork, caprese, and apple cinnamon dessert. The alfajeros (iirc that was the spelling) also remind me of the Argentinian ones!

My daughter and I tried some Empanadas a while ago and had a taste for some today. We found EmpanadUS and it was everything our taste buds expected. We got the bbq pork but they have a variety of choices which comes with their own chimichurri sauce. You won't be disappointed. We were served immediately and even though they were out of the kind we wanted, they made a new batch just for us even though it was only a half hour before closing. Highly recommended.

We stopped here for dinner after visiting the Brookfield Zoo. We had never been to Lagrange before - what a great find! There were lots of options for fillings, and everything was baked freshly while we waited. We will be back.

It was at this Farmers Market that I came across EmpanadUS which besides being the name of the business it is also the name of the Argentinian pastry they make with a variety of fillings to even satisfy a Vegan! I really enjoyed the Spinach and Mushroom with their seasoned oil condiment! I look forward to going back there next Wednesday to pick up a couple more, I also look forward to visiting one of their restaurant sites. For anyone traveling in the La Grange area I recommend a stop at EmpanadUS. Safe Travels To All

We arrived at around 6:30. They ran out of about half of what was on the menu. So, get there early.

I love this place. Not too expensive. Empanadas are always fresh, hot, and yummy. Probably two dozen different types. My favorites are the Sausage, buffalo chicken, and beef enchiladas. They have d school bottled soda. Friendly staff. Give it a try!!

This post is because my gf loves empanadas and this is the only place we've found relatively close (we've done much more in the city). We enjoy the food and downtown LaGrange has lots of other convenient shops...so it makes for a great stop. We've been twice so far, but will frequent more for sure!

Great spot when you're craving some empanadas. Spinach and Beef are the best! I've also tried bacon, pulled pork and ham and cheese. All are delicious. You can't go wrong and they also do veggie ones for those that don't do meat.

It's a great place to experience Argentina in downtown Lagrange, IL. The empanadas are fresh and super tasty. There's a wide variety of options and the interior is decorated with vintage authentic artwork from Argentina. There's also a wide choice of drink options. There's also another location in downtown Riverside. How cool is this?!

A fairly no-frills place to eat, but they have a nice variety of tasty food that. Great for a tapas-esque experience where you get a bunch of different kinds of empanadas, have a taste of each with some friends.

Empandus is a fantastic restaurant the empanadas are out of this world. The wait was not that long at all and the decor is very cool. I recommend the BBQ Pork and Apple empanadas the most, I would then recommend the sausage and caprese empanadas second.
