Not good, very good. We ate mofongo, alcapurria, corn sorrullo, tostones, fried meat and chicken chicharron. Excellent treatment and service, good prices. Recommend!

Papas Rellenas were pretty good, and that’s where the goodness ended. Accapurrias were hardly decent and the empanadas were a joke. Not even halfway full of meat. Literally about 20% full of meat. Just a small pocket of meat in the corner. The meat and dough weren’t even good. When we called ahead to order pickup, a woman answered and said 10-15 minutes. We got there in 12 minutes and a guy said it would be a bit longer because he was working alone (even though a woman was apparently there just minutes before). Took 27 minutes. Definitely won’t be back.

I’m very picky and that was the best mofongo I’ve ever had! We ordered the trifongo. The reviews don’t lie! Come here and you will be glad you did!

Nice little food truck. I got the mofongo with carne frita. I wanted the trifongo, but someone bought the last maduro right before I got there. I ended up buying a maduro and some chicharrones on the way home and doctored it up to perfection. The carne frita was well seasoned and cooked.

The owner is super friendly and very helpful. Great outdoor seating area and the food was out of this world. Definitely recommend stopping here for lunch if you have the opportunity to. The passion fruit juice was great and helped cool me down, very refreshing

Delicious! Such great customer service too! We came here once before in July when we were on vacation. We were in town again this past week and had already made the decision that we MUST make a stop here again before leaving town! We ordered the Carne Frita with Tostones, they are packed with flavor and cooked to perfection! Authentic Puerto Rican Cuisine that will definitely satisfy that Caribbean craving! Cooked to order which means each dish is incredibly fresh! We absolutely LOVE coming here and if you haven’t stopped by yet, please do! 🤩🙏🏻

Went with my wife and father in law today after reading about his food truck . Fabulous freshly cooked food . Best Alcapurria I have found since we moved to Florida 4 yrs ago . Mofongo was great , not dry which is my preference . Bacalaito was tasty, crisp, and fabulous . Will definitely go back . Chef owner was so personable , and showed great pride in his food . Checked up with us to see if we enjoyed . Can't wait to try more of the menu items

The food was great. We came from Northern Virginia and were happy to find this place. Love the Chicken Pinchos with garlic bread, and Relleno de Papa. Thank you Ariel and Anica for taking care of us, and go the extra mile besides all the rush, and almost time to close. Blessings and Great Success!

Ok I came here with my husband because of the article the came out about this food truck. I am a Puerto Rican but when I found out that a person had placed an order at 1:25 pm and it was 3:00 pm and his food was not given to him yet. I said to myself no way I would stay here waiting that long for food. They need to have at least four people in the kitchen to be able to handle the crowd with two people and a 95 degree weather no way I would wait!

The mofongo with carne frita was on point. Bursting with flavor and fresh. Definitely recommend this place.

However, last night, I stumbled upon this delightful food truck, and to put it mildly, I was overwhelmed with nostalgia. I assure you, there is no exaggeration here; each and every bite brought tears to my eyes as it transported me back to the beloved island I miss so dearly. I wholeheartedly recommend this food truck, confident that you will not be disappointed. In the unlikely event that you encounter a dish that doesn't meet your expectations, I kindly suggest returning to the truck and communicating any concerns to the owner. Offering them an opportunity to address any issues before resorting to negative feedback is only fair, as we all make mistakes from time to time. Las Alcapurria estaba un poco grasosa y un poco sobre la sal. No tenían pique. Las empanadillas de carne parece que la carne era como un majado de carne molida. También un poco sobre la sal.

This is probably the best food truck we’ve tried. And trust me, we’ve tried them all! My grandson is very picky and he tore it up! 10/10 and we will definitely come back. We got their alcapurias and they’re definitely the best we’ve had. Give it a try!

IN LOVE. Being a native Chicagoan the Humboldt Park area has great Puerto Rican restaurants and this is where he is from also. The jibarito was so good, fresh, and tasty. I will be back for sure.
