I’ve been coming here since they first opened in their small location. It’s my favorite coffee ever, to either brew at home or buy. Even when I’m living out of state I buy the beans online. My favorite things here are the honey lavendar latte and the cold brew

Great, quick service. Pastries to purchase, (I haven't tasted any) dog water bowls for pets and pet friendly! You'll most likely see a neighborhood dog while your in. People gather, do work, and hang out in the space too. In warmer weather the front opens up as well. They have a great selection of coffee products, it's the spot to go if in town. I have four stars since I don't drink coffee however the chai latte and hot chocolate I have purchased was not my taste. Both weren't strong, by any means.

Seriously some of the best coffee I have ever had.

Largest complaint is their hours. I don't drink coffee but their green teas and matchas are good (although a bit pricey. e.g., You can get a matcha with nondairy for less than $5 at Common grounds cafe). But 3pm on a busy weekday cuts off a lot of customers like me. Edit: 1 year later I never went back cuz I always think of the owner's defensive reply to my review...prob because of the ironic reply of replying around 5 or 6pm when the store "closes" at 3pm. If the owner is working that late, he/she could be serving customers.

In town for a wedding and found this gem through a few quick searches. The 4.8 rating is very well earned for the service, overall vibe, and (most importantly) world-class coffee experience. After selecting whole milk I was later informed that this was the best milk foam that she had achieved all week. I rounded out the order with a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese. This was beyond a shadow of a doubt the best latte I have ever had in my 30+ years on this lovely rock. The chili perfectly highlighted and complimented the deep notes of baker's chocolate present in the Sawmill House Blend (a bag of which I purchased for later consumption). The level of agave sweetness was perfect and required no alterations. I enjoyed my modest breakfast in the beautiful sunshine just outside the open garage door window as Harry Stiles helped nurse me back to life after a night of pre-wedding embellishment. The staff was extremely accommodating, thoroughly chill, and seemed to be on a first-name basis with all of the regulars. I have started to fall in love with Pitman, NJ and might start looking for homes here. All thanks to Endgrain Coffee Roasters. Truly a delight. I didn't have the best experience with Endgrain's beans. I stopped in on a recommendationand ordered their Panama honey processed beans and their sawmill house blend. I noted that all the beans were already packaged, which could be a bad sign, ut not always. Either the beans have been sitting for too long or maybe it's something in the roasting process. The coffee tasted more like a strongly flavored tea. The beans appear and feel pretty dry, compared to beans I get at other roasters. It's possible that this is what they are aiming for though.
