We've been there twice and loved it. The food is wonderful, the service is great and it has a family atmosphere.

Absolutely delicious and just the perfect amount of food 😋

Service was quick and the waitress was friendly. I had a gyro. The meat was too tough and a little bland. It was not what I expected. My coworkers ate there and raved about the food, so take my criticism with a grain of salt.

Not quite how I like it, tastes like gyro meat was seasoned with Mexican type seasoning instead of Greek seasoning. It was ok.

New to the area, wanted chicken kabobs and more. We walked in as a family and wanted to check out something new. 1st impression the waiter didnt have a postive attitude. When we stated that we wanted to go very quick and nasty for us to stay at the door and order. Only 4 customers in the building, very dead. Preceed to order Gyro Plate, and chicken kebo. Food Inspection 84 it speaks about handwashing and food contamination etc. Recieved both plates for $40 very upset 1 kabob and white rice with a cup of salad is very sad. Will not come back!! I would like to show pictures of our plates but I cant add them.

The food is not very seasoned and they advertise that they have lamb Gyro but it’s not just lamb. It’s mixed with beef which people who don’t eat beef can’t eat they charge for every single thing even for hot sauce. Our lunch cost was $100 For two dishes, an appetizer. It was expensive in flavorless

We had the grape leaves, Gyro and homemade Baklava. Everything was FANTASTIC! Food portions were great, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Very impressed with the quality of the food.

Restaurant is very clean. Food was yummy and served fast. Staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered Appetizer Sampler and Grilled Platter Classic, which are both good. There is plenty of food to share. We had a a second visit in April, 2024 and ordered from the lunch menu. Gyro wrap was great and portion is generous.

I’ve been a customer for years! I used to live their meatballs but not anymore because TODAY and the last few times, they served the meatballs RAW on the inside to me. Today, I specifically CALLED and talked to them, I asked to please cook meatballs and don’t send me raw pink meatballs… yet, here’s a picture of the raw meat inside the meatballs they served me. I’m speechless and very disappointed.

Had bad experience, I had a bug walking on my plate since they first brought it. I explained to the attendant and they didn’t believe me at first. I had to bring a witness and later find the bug for them to believe me. Very defensive even though I was very calmed. They did gave me dessert but did not like the way I was treated at first.

Food is excellent, service is great and restaurant is very clean. We will come back for sure

The food was fresh and hot! Perfect little hidden gem!

Very pricey, 2 ladies, 2 salads, 2 waters=$32.00 Although the food was good, there was a bit of a wait. Only one waitress, four tables of customers. A family with 2 teenage sons came in and I'm thinking it will cost them around $80-$100 for their dinner. And there is no sign that tells you they only accept cash. I could not afford to eat here, luckily my sister was paying the bill.

My husband mentioned this place and said they had authentic Greek food. He know in am a huge fan of Greek food coming from Boston ma where we have a huge Greek population and the food there is “chefs kiss”. I usually always go to lazizas in evans and their food is phenomenal, but my husband talked me in to trying this place. I looked at the menu and given the prices vs the options the only thing that caught my eyes was the feta fries. When he came back with them I was absolutely blown away at how low quality it was. For $4.25. I could have bought a block of feta and a bag of fries myself. I know that’s not say much because when you go to places like this, you’re more so paying for convenience rather than the food but to me this is absolutely ridiculous and I’m starved with today’s prices and the economy the way that it is I understand that things are getting more expensive but the fact that you pay $4.25 I could’ve gotten way more at Lazizas than I could this place I am never going to be eating here again.

Very expensive. They will even charge you for their point of sale machine processing fee. We ordered two plates one Kefta and one adena, two cups of tea and one small hummus. Our bill came $61.42. I don’t recommend it. They know most of their customers are visitors and won’t be coming back.

Very expensive you will end up paying double then what you see in the men for 2 kabob and 2 cups tea and humans 63$ Don’t even think about this restaurant to eat

Excellent food and service. This is a fantastic hole-in-the-wall restaurant. They absolutely have the best gyro in town, and great hot sauce. I really enjoyed the baklava here because it's subtly sweet. The staff are very kind and efficient. It's a generally pleasant place to be. I highly recommend this place.

Was disappointed with my $80 lunch. Gyro wraps were OK, but would not recommend the falafel or kunefeh. Both were subpar.

Seriously good food that doesn't leave feeling sloggish afterwards. We tried the Hummus, Shawarma, and Chicken Kabobs. All of them were top notch. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a fulfilling meal that won't leave you in a food coma afterwards.

Hummus was great. Chicken kebab lunch special was fine, but $13 for 5 pieces of chicken breast left something to be desired. Perhaps my fault for not knowing the menu.

Food and service was great. The waitress was extremely nice and took the time to explain the different items on 5he menu. The food was freshly cooked, not reheated like you find in most restaurants and there was plenty of it, will definitely put this on our have to return to list

We shared the hummus, lentil soup, Shepard Salad, and Kofte Plate. Everything was fresh and the kofte was very juicy and large.

Best gyro I have ever had. The meat was delicious, the sauce was perfectly dill, and the pita was nicely warmed and slightly toasted. And, it was massive! I got to-go this time, but next time I will be eating in because the place was SPOTLESS. They had my order ready as soon as I walked in, and they were extremely nice. Can't wait to come back and try more--I'll add pictures when I do :)

This was a lovely little place to eat; the food was lovely albeit different from what we normally go to. The dessert, especially the chocolate pudding, was gorgeous and you got a lot. The staff were lovely, very polite and helpful. I think they are moving from where they are now to be more into the centre of Torquay.

The gyro wasn't all that for $25 for 2 of them with no fries I am from Charlotte NC and they have the best Greek gyro and Fries comes with it for $9 so just to let you know I thru it away that was a waste of $$$ never go back.

The place is very quaint. The relaxing atmosphere and the traditional music was a nice touch. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. The hummus was creamy and seasoned with just the right amount of tahini. The vegetable entre with baby okra, stewed tomatoes, bell peppers, onions in a tomato sauce was very tasty. The rice was fluffy and had the perfect texture. I will visit again when I'm in town.

Hands down the absolute best Greek food I’ve had. The restaurant is so nice a Don’t know what authentic taste like but I feel like this is Will definitely visit again when I come to Augusta

My husband and I had a platter with kabob, gyro, lamb, and chicken. It was 40 and big enough for the two of us, and I was starving! The good was great and flavorful. Had the turkish coffee, and it was a great price. I did not like the dark purple lighting inside though.

I love the way the meat is cooked. Fresh veggies mixed with barbecue meat, with a mouthful of white rice, the best pleasure in life.

We ordered our meal to go through DoorDash. The pitas were still piping hot on arrival, which makes all the difference. They are so good hot! Consistency of the hummus was great. We both ordered the meatball entree which was delicious and my partner said it tastes like his moms… you can’t get a better review than that! The rice is so good that I would eat it all by itself.

This is some of the best food I’ve ever had. It’s not always the fastest so be prepared to wait but it is always worth it. I’ve spent the last month traveling around Turkey and I still not found any food better than here. The Iskender Kebab is literally the best meal I’ve ever had. The mixed grill is amazing and all the desserts and tea/coffee are better than anywhere in Turkey. Go here you will not be disappointed.

The food is really exceptional and the service is great. Very attentive server. I tried the appetizer sampler which was very generous and had several interesting dips including a spicy vegetable dip, hummus, and a yogurt dip. It also included several cheese rolls and grape leaf rolls. Very tasty. Also tried the ground beef kebab which had a little spice to it - very delicious. Had plenty to take home for lunch the next day. Really a nice little place.

Food and service were excellent. I had to take a star away for the restaurant temperature. It was hot when we arrived. I think it may have gotten a little cooler by the end of the meal. Not sure if they had an air conditioning issue, but this was in July in Georgia. 🔥 🥵

Travelling for work, back in the town that I grew up. Always love heading down to Broad St, but my hotel was off Washington Rd. and I-20 and it was a long day. There are some great places to eat in Augusta, and even though one of my favorites (Rhinehart's) was close, I opted for a new place (for me). Ephesus Restaurant was nice & close, and I love Greek/Med food. You have to really keep an eye out for it as it sits behind another restaurant right off Washington Road, sort of caddy-corner across from Rhinehart's. If you see Jay's Music then you are in the right parking lot. Strangely, there was only one other customer dining in while I ate. I did see quite a few pick-up orders go out however. Don't let that stop you. I started with the Cigar Pies. These warm and tasty items were simply Filo dough filled with Turkish feta and parsley. Think Mediterranean cheese stick! For my main I had the Shawarma. In addition to tzatziki they also offered hummus which I went with. Everything tasted fresh and was piping hot. Service was awesome as well. Since the company was picking up the tab, I also ordered a frosty cold one--a Mythos, which was a very pleasant lager. I really wanted another but was pretty full after the meal. I had difficulty finishing everything, should have skipped the app but glad that I didn't. I may or may-not have allegedly ordered baklava to go.... On the next trip down with the Fam we will definitely be hitting this spot.

Wow, never had this before but my wife and I really enjoyed the food and the waitress was on top of things. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere, it gave me the real authentic vibe.

I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but I felt like I should. First, the food is extremely tasty. However, this is a great example of how no matter how good/great the food is, the entire experience can be ruined by non-cooking related things. We’re from out of town, just looking for some Greek food. We (my spouse and two children) visited on a Thursday early dinner time, we were the only table for a good portion of our time there. It had to be 80+ degrees inside (90+ in the bathrooms). We debated the etiquette of asking if they could turn on the AC split unit behind us. Finally we decided to ask, and the waitress said she would but gave some explanation indicating that it would just bring in the hot air from the kitchen. I never saw the AC unit turn on. Also, yes tables were extremely sticky as some others have pointed out. Food portion-to-price ratio was not what we were expecting. More on par with a high end restaurant, but with none of the amenities of such a restaurant. The food was truly delicious. But where we ordered a $43 platter, we received a $22 portion. Expectations always skew things, but compacted to any average $15 meal restaurant, we did not get $43 worth of platter. My wife and I had hoped to split the platter between just us, but after seeing the prices, we decided to just share with our 5 year old. My son asked for a salad (instead of fries!) with his gyro wrap, and I knew he wouldn’t like the tzatziki sauce as a salad dressing. So I requested ranch instead. When we got the bill, they charged $1.50 for ranch for his salad. Perhaps their side salad doesn’t include a dressing, but that was not explained. Nor did we ask, so I paid the bill. I have no idea of theirs financial stability or how long they’ve been in business, but with all the dining room issues, over priced and up charged items, not willing to properly cool the dining room, it felt like they’re trying to scrape by due to lake of customers.

Long waits and the waitress keeps a bad attitude.

This restaurant is nothing fancy, but the food is good. I was pleased with the appetizer plate I had for my meal. I couldn't really tell from the menu which were the Turkish and which were the Greek choices. Perhaps the cuisine of these two places is similar enough to be indistinguishable. The restaurant is a bit hard to find, tucked in away from the main road behind other businesses. They were closed on Monday, so we returned later in the week.

Great casual dining with good food. Not a huge menu but the food was hot and the service quick. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for a girls lunch or a family dinner. Will be back

Bottom line I did not like my dish (was cold). server named Kadriye rolls her eyes and says "so it's my fault?" Then chef or whatever he was comes out arguing with my wife saying "nothing he can do" "come see the kitchen" being confrontational. Never experienced this before in a restaurant so beware at your own risk.

Great Greek food. This was only my 2nd Greek place I've ate at but it was great. Everything had a great flavor. We got the appetizer sampler which is definitely the way to go, and the falafel was great but more of like a mild flavor, so if you want something more fun go for the sampler. Got the Gyro which came with hot pitas to make our own Gyro, the meat had a great flavor but seemed a little dry on the outside layer. And the chicken kebab was so tender and had great smoky type flavor but lightly. The waitress was hard to hear but she was very kind. Clean environment. It's hard to find GOOD AUTHENTIC food, so I will be back

My favorite restaurant in all of Augusta, I could eat here every single day of my life. The service is top notch, the food is delicious. I've never had a juicer piece of grilled chicken from a Mediterranean restaurant or possibly any restaurant period. 10/10 recommended.

They provided a great lunch for a medical office in Augusta. 47 people! The food was delicious. Service was prompt and communication was on point. They went the extra mile to make sure everything was good too. The baklava was great. Very nice family too.

Tried this place out for the 1st time a few days ago! The food was really good ! I ordered the gyro platter, which was really good. Falafels, and an order of fries. And 2 peroni beers! Everything was great! The service was great! Our food came pretty quick. But it wasn't busy inside at all. And the place was clean. I would Definitely come back!

Let me start by saying how much I LOVE Greek food! This place has THE BEST GYROS I've had in YEARS! I will definitely be back to get my fix. I also tried a variety of different appetizers, enjoyed the hummus the most but I am somewhat partial to it. Try it, you won't regret!

The service was slow even though we were the only people in the restaurant, took about 15 minutes for them just to take our order just for the food to be mid. The hospitality wasn't that great either, seemed like our server didn't want us to be there same with herself

The food was authentic and very delicious. The service was great and quick. Their food was genuinely the homemade type. It was fresh, and the beef shish kabob I ordered was the perfect temperature/doneness.

Paid $15 for this. Not worth it. Owner is rude and does take negative feedback well which means they are not going to improve.

I ordered takeout and it was not worth it. You can tell when you are dealing with an honest restaurant when you order to go. The food portions where incredibly small for the price. I have never seen anything like this. My advice to you: do not order to go.

Great food and reasonable price.

We discovered this restaurant when we were staying at the nearby Hampton Inn. We were impressed by the quality of the food and wonderful service. The lentil soup, eggplant salad and spiced ground lamb entree were all outstanding.

Authentic Teraziki sauce truly completes a gyro. This establishment didn't disappoint.

The service was good, and the restaurant was clean.  The building is a former Pizza Hut, but they have decorated the interior well enough that you quickly forget that.  Although the prices seemed slightly high to me, they are probably average for nowadays (the lunch menu items were $11-$14.)  The portions were generous, and the waitress gladly brought out an extra basket of pita bread at no charge. Overall, a very solid choice.  I would definitely go back if I am in town again.

Had high expectations! But was massively disappointed. I think 2 stars is being overly generous too, presentation was poor the plate came almost empty ! Zero effort Table super sticky Slow service, despite being only 2 tables occupied at the time. Can never recommend, being from Turkish and Greek background myself there is no way I would ever go there again. Shame

Delicious food and a warm atmosphere! A very enjoyable experience. We will certainly be back! The naan was phenomenal alongside the appetizer sampler. Also enjoyed the combo dinner platter. Deliciously flavored/marinated meats topped off with an oh so good square of baklava! Plenty to take home and enjoy again.

Exceptional!!! First time here. We got eggplant salad, fried liver, salmon plate and gyro plate. Everything was truly exceptional. But the dessert... kunefe... was a full 10 stars... mindblowing good. It's not on the menu, be sure to ask for it.

We love eating lunch here! My favorite is the calf liver and Travis enjoys the lamb meatballs. The appetizer sampler, which includes eggplant salad is wonderful and flavorful. Also, you could not ask for kinder service staff.

Had this food today with my boyfriend because it was recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. We both got gyros and the meat was so flavorful. We will definitely be coming back!

First time here and the food was amazing! Fresh and just tasted "clean" and healthy.

The food was a little cold, I got the Gyros original. For the price it should've come with Greek fries lol. The flavor was OK but nothing to hype over. Being Greek and heard about the authenticity of this place I guess I expected better. We weren't offered a drink but the lady was nice. The resturant was clean and not busy at all. The baklava was alittle soggy and not all that great..... but I'll support their restaurant again.

Omg! We were blown away! We didn't expect to be swept off our feet by how delicious this food was! My husband got the mixed grill platter with lamb chops and I got the mixed grill classic platter, our kids each got the chicken kabob and I tell you no lie Everything down to the damn rice was amazing!!!! The rice was buttery and fluffy, all the meats were tender and seasoned to perfection. I've never had boneless chicken breast so tender and juicy. 10 out of 10 hands down. My husband said he felt like Anton Ego from the movie "Ratatouille" when he tried the ratatouille and the end of the movie lol. We will def be back here definitely recommended!

Food and service were great !! Dolmades or Stuffed Leaves are an excellent appetizer. Gyro is top notch. Co worker had the baked shrimp casserole and loved it. Definitely will go back

My husband surprised me with dinner from here. EVERYTHING was amazing! The cucumber sauce was better than I have ever had. We got the platter which was a sample of the different meats with rice, the lightly grilled vegetables and the salad was absolutely perfect! I will be back! 😍
