Good food and service. Only complaint is not open 24 /7 lol. George the owner is a stand up guy. Gentleman of the scholar!

Pizza was so good! Might just be the best in northern Maine

Definitely some speakeasy history here and one can even see the old pattern still on the floor at the bar of old bowling lanes and what appears to be a small dancing area. The atmosphere is eclectic of days gone by but the food is better than anything north of mid-state (Bangor) and an unexpected gem. Highly recommend the trip if in northern Maine.

Best steak I have ever eaten in a restaurant! Our waitress was very nice! The atmosphere is great and the prices are comparable to other restaurants in the same category.

Been to Eureka Hall Restaurant twice now 1st Business Dinner 2nd with my wife,both visits were absolutely amazing. The food is great and service is excellent. It’s not everyday you find a place that can cook a steak as well as they do.

This unassuming building has total speakeasy vibes and really great staff. We stopped by off the trails and tried to keep any mud from the rainy day from tracking in - and they never made us feel unwelcome with our disheveled look after 200 miles of trail riding. They had a big rush of tables all at once so the food took some time but they took care of us! We left feeling like we had just had a nice dinner at a friend's house. Highly recommend.

90 minute wait for cold food with a half full restaurant. Fun with friends and drinks not so much with the family on an empty stomach.

Never open before 4,on weekdays, otherwise id have been there more then the one time i was!

Do not leave there without trying the Brussel sprouts, world class....

A PERFECT example of "don't judge a book by its cover". Looked like I was going in to my buddies basement, and you walk in to a cool, welcoming tavern of sorts. Great people, just enjoying each other's company. Like "Cheers" in the North Woods style. And the food? DON'T get me started. I had the haddock, and my lovely partner had the steak tips (Wow! Tender!!...yeah, I tried 'em 😁🤣) Great food, I'm telling you. "Don't Judge A Book...." Awesome place!

Shrimp surf and turf was great! However, the stars of the show were the brussel sprouts and au gratin potatoes. The beer selection is always fantastic.

Great food, great drinks, and great staff! I always enjoy being able to stop into their tavern for their Stockholm Mountain Burger and an adult beverage. Live music is a great experience too

Our 1st time as patrons 3 weeks ago. As many of these reviews underscore very friendly and accommodating service. We figured the extended amount of time to finally be served our orders was that the scalloped potatoes cook in their individual ramekin. No complaints other than the featured Aussie ribeye. Should have sent it back or just not struggled to eat it, can’t recommend for human consumption. But the pooch waiting at home thoroughly enjoyed what was salvaged from the overwhelming gristle.

Came in on bikes on July 23. 4 of us, 2 of whom are regulars at your restaurant. We were seated quickly, and drinks ordered and delivered very fast. Great First Mile Beer! Food was slow coming out, but damn worth it when it got there! Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Can't wait to get back!

Wow! What a wonderful little spot and town. Hiding in the small Swedish community in northern Maine is a gem. Make no mistake about it. These folks do some amazing foods and drinks. Pizza is fantastic as well. Pub/bar downstairs is built over an antique couple of bowling lanes. Fantastic appetizers as well. Great variety of wonderful food choices. If you get a chance, don’t miss it.

had a great time at the tavern, the pizza crust is very good. I had a salad with peanut sauce and it was good, my wife said the sweet potatoe fries were great.

Upstairs is a homey restaurant, downstairs, a dive bar with local color. You can eat from either menu on either floor. We really like the pizza and salads. Dinners can be really good, or just so so. If you don’t like your fish over cooked please tell them, because they tend to over cook the fish. The pork schnitzel is to die for, a real specialty of the House. The steaks and scallops are always good. Portions are generous, and the service friendly and aiming to please.

Restaurants heading upstairs, bar setting downstairs. Great beer selections! Live music downstairs on weekends! Off the beaten path. Worth going to, right on the trails if you're already outside enjoying the Glorious ride that with you.
