Only went in for dessert and drinks, but felt very welcomed from entry through exit!

The food and service here is amazing. I have been a total of 3 times now with my husband and kids and it’s been perfect every time. You will get some of the best food and service here every single time.

Love me a Good happy hour... And on the weekends... But let me tell your something.... That dame pork chop.. And that fine cut of RIBEYE... OMG

Packed on a Tuesday night and that says something... Though a number of high end places are closed Tuesday... Be forewarned. Food was very good but service was the best. So had to give it the 5.

The food was amazing. Me and my girlfriend both got the surf and turf. Steak was perfectly cooked on both great consistency. She got salmon i got shrimp which I was unhappy with, but I really think it was personal taste and I even stated this in my initial comment, but Someone else came and asked I would like something else and sorry it wasn't to my liking. And replaced it with the salmon which were both also perfectly cooked. GO HERE NOW

Great food but making a reservation should reserve you a seat inside. I made a reservation 2 days in advance and was sat outside. After asking to sit inside, i was told there is an hour wait. Outside seating should be for walk-ins or people that want to sit outside. That was the first time i have ever made a reservation at any restaurant and was forced to sit outside.

Been recommended this place a dozen times, im not sure why, the food was subpar, not sure what was on my steak, it didn't seem appealing to eat. the prices were okay but the level of service I got was decent, but it was so loud in the dining room and it felt cramped, we got in as a walk-in so im thankful the host could do that, but had better experiences else where in town, just didn't think it was worth the hype I kept getting

Had our anniversary dinner here and everything was superb ! No complaints at all. All asoects were top notch ! Highly recommend

What a great place! My wife and I had dinner there for our anniversary. I had to reserve about 3-weeks in advance to get an inside table at the time we wanted...so plan ahead. Really, not a single thing I could complain about. The food was fantastic, I had the Norwegian Salmon and my wife had the hangar steak. Both were excellent. My wife's margaritas and my Manhattans were also very very good. The creme brulee (one of my wife's favorites) was among the best she has ever had. And...the service was perhaps even better than the food. Absolutely too notch from the time we walked in the front door. We have a new favorite place in Fredericksburg. Thank you to the Fahrenheit 132 staff for a great evening.

Fahrenheit you outdid yourself👏👏You made our Anniversary Night so Wonderful. Jonathan our waiter was the Best , the Sommelier was Excellent and the Chef out did himself. Had a reservation for 6 to celebrate an anniversary at their patio July 26 at 9pm. We have been here a handful of times but only for 2 people and throughly enjoyed every visit. I was a bit worried for a table of 6 especially so late but they met every expectation and more. Our server Lindsay was amazing! We ordered quite a bit of food and drinks. She made sure everything we received was to our standards. She was fantastic coming around just enough but not too much to be annoying. We had another gentleman come over to give us a lesson on tequila as my hubby went to the bar questioning a good tequila shot. We appreciated his knowledge in this area as we ordered his recommendations. We all had such a wonderful time. Thank you so much for a memorable anniversary for hubby and I. Oh! And thank you for the honesty and circling the gratuity Lindsay as we had a few drinks and would have never recognized it.

Fahrenheit is certainly the best restaurant in Fredericksburg. We have been there several times and they always provide a great dining experience. It’s not inexpensive, but it’s worth it. My wife and I went there last night (7/28/04) for an anniversary dinner. We went all out. Cocktails (by far the most adventurous cocktails in the area, in a good way). Two appetizers, I highly recommend the escargot, if that’s your thing. I ordered the dry aged Ribeye and my wife got the NY strip. Everything was going great, the server was on point, around when we needed him but never overbearing. When our meals arrived I cut into my steak and was disappointed to find it to be medium to medium rare. I’m a rare steak guy. I always hate having to send food back but this is a premium restaurant and it’s not ok to not get things as you ordered. The server immediately agreed and brought the manager over, and it was readily apparent to all, that the steak was overcooked. This is where Fahrenheit shows itself to indeed, be a premium restaurant. The manager was immediately conciliatory and promised to make things right. Unfortunately, because everything is prepared to order, my replacement meal came as my wife was finishing hers (cooked to perfection btw) but they all but fell over backwards to try to make the bed of it. They comped us the wine, gave us dessert to go (comped) and, I must also tip my hat to the bar manager for providing us with a truly exceptional, unexpected ,whiskey tasting. While the evening was not perfect, I commend the staff and manager for their grace under fire and for taking their customer’s experience seriously. The only thing we felt could have been better, unfortunately, were the mashed potatoes. While tasty, they were a gluey mess and had obviously been whipped too long. They had good flavor but the texture was not appealing. All things considered, I would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for an elevated dining experience.

So glad we took our visiting guest here! Fantastic upscale restaurant with a menu and service to match. Corey was amazing. Being a manager int he industry sometimes it is just so lovely to be served as intended which is what Corey exemplified. Thorough, kind, invested, and made wonderful suggestions.

Had the recommended hanger steak And the bone marrow appetizer it was good, but I would not rate it excellent. Nice atmosphere with good vibes of a local restaurant.

Can't say enough about this place. We had reservations for 2 last night. Four more people showed up and they gladly served all of us without a hitch. Thanks as always for the hospitality.

One of my favorite spots in Fredericksburg! You can get there early and eat at the bar with no reservation. Happy hour has awesome deals. The staff is super friendly. I wish they would move into a slightly bigger space but that’s personal preference. The bone marrow butter I 10/10 recommend on your steaks.

I took my mom here to treat her to a fancy dinner and it did not disappoint! Our server was kind and courteous and the food way amazing! We both got the ribeye and it was the best steak I think I have ever had. The drinks and desert were amazing and fresh. The Crème Brûlée was so light and perfectly balanced. It was worth the money and to see my mom enjoy it so much made it even more worth the price.

When I called to make a reservation at the restaurant, I was excited to try it based on the good reviews and recommendations. The process of making the reservation was simple and pleasant. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, although we were initially greeted warmly, the service seemed to decline as the evening went on. We arrived at 7:30 pm, which may have been late, resulting in subpar service. Our server forgot about our food, and we had to remind him. We waited a long time for our food, and during this time, they began cleaning up tables around us. Although they took our glasses for refills, we had to remind them to bring them back to us. Additionally, they gave me two dirty oyster forks in a row, which was disappointing. My food was decent, but my brother's pork chop and the truffle mac & cheese were really good. The meat and fish were also good. Although my appetizer was enjoyable, overall, the experience was just okay. Despite the restaurant being rated 4.7 stars, the service did not meet my expectations. I usually dine at restaurants with four stars and above, so I had high hopes for this establishment. I do, however, plan to give it another try in the future. Also, when I attempted to greet the manager on my way out, she seemed a bit standoffish, contributing to the weird vibe in the restaurant. Additionally, the server made unnecessary comments about the raw items on the menu, which came off as rude. Moreover, every time we ordered something, the server would point out obvious details from the description, making us second-guess our choices despite being clear about our orders. It felt uncomfortable and disrupted my experience.

Service was excellent, food tomahawk was horrible, said 30 once??? Lots and lots of grisly, never going back that was the second visit. Price not worth it. FIREBIRDS MUCH BETTER CHOICE.

The food is expensive, but it is absolutely amazing. It is worth it. The drinks are fantastic as well.

Always perfection great atmosphere

The wait staff was great. They had great patience with my 3 year old daughter and treated her so kindly. The food was delicious. I am happy with the experience and will definitely be returning.

Steaks are pretty good. Cooked exactly as ordered or pretty close. Not my number 1 but close. Truffle fries are great. Service is great and attentive. Prices are a bit much. But over all you'll enjoy dinning here. Just make sure you bring your piggy bank cuzz dishes add up quickly

They keep your reservation by +/-1 hr do to their popularity. Which is great in the growing downtown Fredericksburg area. The staff are super polite and professional. I tell you what, if you want a great story time, sit at the bar🤭, you’ll thank me later😉.

Service was top notch, food was very good. Had 2 different cuts of steak, scallops, rosemary mashed potatoes, garlic green beans and it was all very good. The brussel sprout side was not as good, but wasn't bad just a bit bitter. Wine selection is huge! Drink menu was really good. This is a great place to go celebrate something!

Second time there and Eric was our server once again. He is on point with his recommendations and the food has been on point as well.

Given the reviews, I was surprised by my experience. When I arrived there, my dining partner was told that seating wasn't available, after being told at the bar that it was. The hostess finally squeezed us in, but we were told we had to leave by 7pm, which felt a bit unprofessional the way it was worded. We had come for Happy Hour, but were told after we were seated that it was only available at the bar. My dining partner had started there, but said the chairs were too uncomfortable to stay, and was not told about the Happy Hour restriction. Prices weren't outrageous, but were on the high end. The food must be worth it, however, given the rave reviews and the fact that the restaurant was packed. However, given the hassle when we tried to get seating, the cost of our drinks, and not really enjoying them, we decided not to stay. Service was very attentive, however, and that aspect was definitely a good experience. All in all, I am ambivalent about going back. I won't say never, but will not be rushing back, either.

Last minute Friday night idea; and yes, reservations were required. The restaurant itself wasn’t so big. Everything seemed so tight and confined to me🤷🏾‍♀️ Maybe on a different night things would have been more romantic; but it was loud, noisy, and very crowded:/ The food was okay😒 The pork chops nor the steak had any flavor to it; however it was very fresh and well prepared:) The service was great and on point!!! Overall; I would come here again.

Everything from greetings at the host stand to the very end of meal was top notch. It’s been years since we’ve encountered a restaurant who really cared about their customer service & made sure their guests were enjoying their experience. Our server Eric really knocked it out of the park with walking us through their menu & his recommendations. Each item was delish. The elk tartare… each component really brought it together. We’ve never had it, but my husband doesn’t usually go for elk or tartare; I thought I wasn’t going to share 🤭 but he ended up enjoying it just as much! Our lobster roll sliders were also a delightful app. For our entrees I had the dry aged duck that was cooked to perfection- a true medium rare & my husband had their weekend special 18oz prime rib. We’ve been raving about it to other guests at our hotel and can’t wait to return on our next visit to Fredericksburg. It truly is a gem.

Just had a delightful anniversary dinner in this downtown restaurant. The location and ambience were very charming. We made an early reservation and we were promptly seated. Our waitress was friendly and super knowledgeable about the menu, cocktails and wine pairings — without being condescending! We decided on the price fixe menu which included a salad, a shared Tomahawk Waygu ribeye with two incredible sides, and a dessert. Everything was prepared perfectly to our satisfaction. The suggested wine paired perfectly and we ended our dinner with a delicious espresso martini and the apple empanadas. They were served on a board with “happy anniversary” written in powdered sugar. Simply perfect food and service. Well worth the high price tag. When we next have a celebratory event, we will definitely return.

Decent meal. Great wine and cocktail choices. Extremely rushed. 1 hr and 20 minutes for drinks, appetizers, entrees , dessert and coffee. Made it unenjoyable as you became too stuffed to enjoy your food. Received a gift card so gave it a try. Don’t think I would go back unless invited as someone’s guest.

We had a wonderful experience on Father’s Day. We were even impressed with the kids meal which came with an appetizer & dessert. We opted for the truffle fries appetizer for the adults to share and it was more than enough for the table. Our steaks were cooked to perfection exactly what we requested and the garlic herb butter was delicious! The service was great from the hosts to the server. Our glasses were never empty and we never needed anything. Extremely reasonably prices for the quality.

Clearly the best restaurant in Fredericksburg. Usually go there for special occasions as the prices can be a bit steep for a casual date night especially if you’re doing 3 courses and cocktails. Their steaks are great and old fashioned is top class.

The waiter was top notch. He was well versed on the menu . He was also knowledgeable on the wine choices and cocktails. I had a Ribeye that was cooked to perfection. I will return soon to try some more of the wine and steak.

“Fredericksburg’s Best” Take the money you’re about to spend and just go to D.C. with it. You’d be happier you did.

Surf and turf. Old fashion were phenomenal I asked for garlic butter, A1, mac and cheese and sautéed mushroooms for a overall rich and delicious and colorful plate full of fragrant herbs and spices Didnt ask for reservations on a Saturday night so we expected a 30 min wait time… they sat us down not even 15 mins after!

I’ve never had a bad experience at Fahrenheit. I’ve been going since they opened in 2015. This is my go to place for any event. You will be treated well by every single member of the staff. Your waiter will be knowledgeable and friendly. The food will always be delicious, well seasoned and well cooked. 100% the best restaurant in the Burg.

Best restaurant in FXBG by far. Others can’t compare. Get the truffle fries and a steak. Great service and attention to detail. Definitely recommend!

It was my wife's birthday the food was great and the staff very friendly and professional,we shall be there again.

Three of us ate dinner here last Saturday eve. We have eaten here twice before. The first visit was not too long after it opened. Everything was excellent. The wait person was impeccable, the atmosphere was lively but cozy, and our food ( steaks) was delicious. The second time was several months ago. The service was not quite impeccable, the atmosphere was still cozy and lively, and the food (steak) was not as good. Saturday, we found the service to be more along the lines of any other of the nicer restaurants in the area, the atmosphere alternated between lively and a bit rowdy, and the food was delicious ( prime rib, and sirloin strip.) We're wondering if they are trying to seat people and get them out too quickly.

This is another fine example 'what you get, is what you pay for!' We found our dinner to be excellent!!! Superior flavor, well presented in a very nice atmosphere.

Reservations only and absolutely worth it. We sat inside in a booth with our toddler, who may have been the only child there. Enjoyed a wonderful meal. The old-fashioned with rum was delightful. Soups to start were seasoned to perfection, and we couldn't help finishing off the broths. Mains were great. Our toddler devoured 1.5 lobsters and was super content. He loved the colorful straws too. The mint on the chocolate dessert was super subtle and would have been fine for our kid, but not being super, I had ordered him the chocolate gelato, which he enjoyed. It was a relief to be able to have the staff pick wine for us with a brief convo and budget so we could try something new. Easy, relaxing dining experience. We will be back. My child and I can't have gluten and I loved that we could easily enjoy the meal like everybody else there—even the French onion soup! While it's great for a nice dinner, I also wouldn't mind coming just for soup and salad. The food is just that lovely and flavorful.

We have been multiple times and have never been disappointed at all! The staff is friendly and they even write things down. Great knowledge of the menu when presenting the various portions of the menu. They don't read it to you; they expound on what might be the details you would typically ask about. Simple dishes with exquisite taste and all paired with a great climate, wonderful choice of spirits, appetizers, main entre as fine tasting deserts. Should you need or desire a cup of coffee before you go...just ask!

The food was good. Went here for a family member's birthday. Ordered the halibut. The drinks were fantastic; a little pricey, but worth it. I would try a different range of apps when we go back. What can I say, i love bread and the bread was a little disappointing, but the entrees and apple empanadas made up for it.

This was our second time here and it was just as amazing as the first time. I got the Filet Mignon medium with bone marrow butter, it was sooo tender and delicious. My husband got the Ribeye medium rare. He loved it! There's nothing like that first bite of a perfectly made steak 😊 The mashed potatoes and shredded Brussels were very good! We each got a cocktail and those were delicious. I highly recommend this place whether it's for a special occasion, drinks or just a night out. Thanks for continuing to make our anniversary special ❤️

Nothing else in the area compares. This is simply one of the best restaurants in the state. The front and back of the house staff operate at the top of their game with incredible consistency. Do yourself a favor and go enjoy a meal there.

THE dining experience of our trip. Excellent atmosphere, over the top service and our dinners were excellent! I had surf and turf with hanger steak, excellent, and a lobster tail which was good if slightly overcooked. My husband had the 16 oz ribeye which he reports was phenomenal. The sides we chose were all excellent including mashed potatoes and garlic green beans. We shared a cinnamon bread pudding for desert and were fighting over the last bite! Excellent wine list! Nifty craft cocktails and I chose an excellent port for dessert. Atmosphere is excellent also !We will return !!

We've eaten here MANY MANY times over the years... It's always proved to be an amazing dinner too! They have a great happy hour at the bar and really good service in the dining room. It's a great place for a special night out, a celebratory dinner, and even business dinners... we've done them all. The menu is excellent with plenty of variety and everything executed perfectly every time... and if it's not, just let them know and they'll make it right! I would easily say this is one of the best steakhouses I've been to, it's easily in my top 5 and I've eaten at all the popular chains, as well as many unique, local steakhouses throughout the country.

Excellent experience. Put waiter Eric and the entire waitstaff were amazing and attentive. Very knowledgeable. My Bombay Gin Martini was made perfectly to my liking. Entrees and dessert did not disappoint. I had skirt steak (medium) with house rub, and bone marrow butter, garlic green beans and rosemary mashed potatoes. The flavors were quite enjoyable and worked well together. The skirt steak was very tender.

I was torn between giving a rating of a 3 or 4 but I chose the latter solely because of my amazing server Jamie. I came in on Friday evening with a 9:15pm reservation. I arrived ten minutes early and waited until about 9:25pm to be seated. Walking into the restaurant, I was immediately taken aback by the volume- it was very loud. Nevertheless, I sat at my table and Jamie took great care of me. I let her know this was a cheat meal for me so I’d be having the lamb and a dessert after. Dinner came out about forty minutes after I ordered and it tasted amazing!! I was beyond impressed with the food! My reason to give a two/three star review is based on my interaction with one of the managers. I wont post the details but the manager approached me and the conversation really struck a nerve with me. So much so that when I finished my lamb and Jamie came back around I told her that I was no longer interested in dessert and I was ready for my check so I could leave. When Jamie came back with my check, she also had a piece of cake for me that she said was on the house. It was nothing I asked for, but something that they chose to give me. I appreciated the gesture but I still wasn’t happy with how things went with the manager. Overall, I was impressed with the food and Jamie.

We absolutely love this place. We celebrated our anniversary last night at Fahrenheit 132. The service was excellent and our food was amazing. We had reservations and were seated immediately upon arriving. We will definitely be back soon.

Went on a Saturday evening with a group of girlfriends-we had a great time! Our waitress was really friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The food was great. Everyone said their steaks were amazing and my mushroom and truffle risotto was delicious. Great atmosphere, warm and inviting. Will go back!

I enjoyed ita it was my first time there and the food was great, the service was great and the atmosphere was like I like it.

Too expensive for what it offers. Two sip drinks at $15 minimum each. I mean it, it's really 2 sips and the glass is empty but a big chunk of square clear ice with a "F" on it. I guess the "F" rhymes with "S" and it stands for SUCKERS. Before you know it, you are in the 2 to 3 hundred bill range and regretting it. The food is "goodish" though. A bit pricey for the quality but not too far away from it. The French onion soup had crunchy onions inside and unmelted cheese on top. The flavor was good despite the amateur execution of a classic recipe. Background noise is above average and demands raised voices for conversations. For your birthday, you get a small card saying that you are there.

Tried this place twice and never again. Small ugly restaurant, food is just okay but overpriced and service is less than okay starting with the older lady at the front stand.

My wife and I went last night and had a terrific anniversary meal. Our server Eric was very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the entrées and even made suggestions. We had the shrimp cigars as an appetizer. Very tasty. My wife got the surf and turf. It was excellent I got the beef short rib a wonderful choice, so flavorful. And to top it all off the peanut butter pie was a great closer to an excellent meal would highly recommend.

Amazing service, food, and drinks! My family and I were visiting Fredericksburg for the weekend and Fahrenheit 132 came highly recommended by locals. Our waitress was so incredible and the steak and scallops were divine. We really enjoyed their extensive wine selection. To end the evening, they provided a sweet hand written congratulations as my family and I were celebrating a birthday and an engagement. Such a sweet, personal touch. We will be back.

Could not ask for a better experience. Party of 2, reservations for 5:45. Our steaks were the absolute BEST we've ever had. Above Ruth's Chris, Mortons, Capitol Grill; these we're incredible. The atmosphere is warm and inviting but not stuffy. We will most definitely be back. Revised March 2024. We've returned several times. Service and quality keeps getting better (if that was even possible) Definitely the spot for a special occasion.

The food is absolutely amazing. What a wonderful treat this restaurant was for our anniversary. The staff made it very special for us.

Excellent food and great service. Our server, Megan, was as good as they get and knowledgeable about the whole menu. Cons: inconsistent pricing left me feeling a bit taken. For example my scallops, four of them, on a bed of creamed corn, was about the same price as the surf and turf with three scallops added. Pros: excellent food, cooked perfectly. All of the staff we interacted with were smart and friendly. Always ready to discuss the way to order and how to prepare for your liking.

Update: Went for our 19th Anniversary and it was amazing. Eric and others were just exceptional in taking care of us. We ended the evening with desert and a wonderful Hungarian port that Eric provided. Everything was perfect. We always get a smoked Boulevardier and Tawny Port Old Fashion…so good. Thanks again, always a blessing to spend an evening here. Update: Christmas Eve 2023 dinner as well as many other visits this year were all wonderful. It's hands down the best steak I've ever had. Service is top shelf. I only wish we could go more often! Update: We're probably on our 20th visit to Fahrenheit 132 and it was our go to place for Christmas Eve 2022 dinner. Perfect. Steak, wine, shrimp, desert, service, etc. were just amazing. Thanks for making this our favorite place!! Previous 2022: We just keep going back! The prices are climbing but it's the nature of the beast with inflation. If you're going to treat yourself to a great steak, here's the place. At least ten visits and never a disappointment. My wife tried the new salmon (line caught) and it was amazing! Rarely (no pun intended) do you get your steak cooked exactly to your desire but they get it right every single time. From the shrimp cocktail, through the smoked Boulevardier, over the 36oz porterhouse and landed on the banana pudding and apple cinnamon empanadas...oh what a journey. We are miserably happy with our meal and Michael (bartender) is just a great guy. He took amazing care of us and it's like dinner and show with his humor.

On a random adventure to VA, I found this great steakhouse. It was busy but I was able to get a table by the window (reservations recommended). Service was fantastic. Provided information on the entire menu and gave great recommendations. The surf and turf were the best. Drinks were delicious.

Found this place on accident when another steak restaurant down the street had poor service and was out of food. Definitely get the steak for 2 at the back of the menu. The steak will quite literally melt in your mouth. We didn't have reservations so we sat at the bar and the service was great. If you want a booth, I recommend making reservations. But since we didn't know about this place, we didn't know to do that. Still, the atmosphere was great and the bartender was wonderful. All of the staff were professional - definitely upscale! We will most definitely head back to Fahrenheit 132 the next time we're craving steak!

The best steakhouse I’ve ever been to!! We came here for a 40th birthday celebration. Everything from making the reservation to the atmosphere, service, and food was outstanding. We were sat at our table immediately upon arriving. The decor and real plants throughout the restaurant were beautiful and added such a nice touch to this high end restaurant. Our server Eric took his time explaining nearly everything on the menu to us. We ordered several drinks, all of which were so delicious. The appetizers were really great. We loved the escargot served in a bone. The steaks were melt in your mouth and the sides were all fantastic. Never did we feel rushed at any point in the meal. It was a truly wonderful evening and I can’t wait to come back.

We had a fantastic anniversary dinner at Fahrenheit 132. Our waiter, Ed was wonderful. He went above and beyond to make it a special night. The food was delicious and the servings were large. We absolutely loved this restaurant and will definitely be back!

Celebrating my 50th at Fahrenheit 132 Steakhouse in Fredericksburg, VA, was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere was inviting, setting the stage for an evening of fine dining and joyous memories with loved ones. The highlight of the meal was the Delmonico ribeye. Perfectly seasoned and cooked just right, it was a cut that showcased the best of what a steak can be. The custom cocktail menu was impressive, offering innovative and delicious drinks that paired wonderfully with the meal. Not to be missed, the Apple spiced empanadas for dessert were a delightful treat that rounded off the dining experience with a touch of sweetness and spice. A special shoutout to Erik, our server, who made the evening even more special with his excellent service and friendly demeanor. His professionalism and care ensured that my milestone birthday was celebrated in style. In short, Fahrenheit 132 delivered an outstanding dining experience that made my 50th birthday not just memorable, but truly exceptional.

This place is the best steakhouse, period. The bar staff is awesome, the service is amazing, the food is always perfect. When my wife and I want a great restaurant experience, we go to Fahrenheit 132.

Great food as always. The Duroc Pork Chops are fantastic. The Delmonico Ribeye was cooked perfectly though it was slightly too salty. But that could have been the bone marrow butter. Drinks were really good

We came here for the first for our anniversary (would not recommend for a romantic occasion). Food and service was amazing! The only negative thing i have to say which was a huge factor for us was that you’re packed in there like sardines. We could barely hear our own conversation cause you’re have people sitting so close to both sides of you.

Great experience, wonderful food, awesome service. Had a ribeye that was excellent, the mashed potatoes that came with it were incredible. We split a nice dessert, overall a great place, definitely a spot for a really good, high quality meal.
