4 of us went early on a Saturday night (4 :30pm) and it took our food almost 1.5 hours to get served to us. We asked to move outside and were taken to a table by the host, when we asked the server about our food, it was obvious either our ticket was lost or they didn't put it in. When the manager came to talk to us she tried to blame it on us moving outside. The food was taking a long time before we even moved. She barely offered to discount our food and never came back to check on us. We didn't get any drink refills and at the end of the day the food wasn't even that good to have waited that long. The only reason we did was because it was a birthday celebration and we were all hungry.

Fun place! My wife had the pulled pork sandwich which see loved. I had the extreme Bloody Mary with a half of chicken on it, some sausage and other bloody mary snacks. The chicken was ok....good flavor but breast was pretty dry but it's awful hard to smoke chicken. The sausage was not so good to me. I had fun with that chicken topped bloody but there are better things on the menu. For example the smash burgers looked very yummy.

We had our Mardi Gras group party there & it was nice.

So so. Like so many bbq restaurants too much rub and over smoked. Can’t taste the quality of the meat.It is consistent… taste the same 2 years ago.

Although the atmosphere of this BBQ joint is awesome, the food was sadly lackluster. I had fried shrimp & brisket po'boy. Shrimp was so greasy and ruined the whole sandwich for me. Nothing spectacular to note about the sides. Their sweet tea was pretty good

Green salads had a number of wilty leaves. I had ribs, baked beans, potato salad. I liked my meal, good BBQ sauce with a little kick. Dry rub on ribs. More seasoning needed on potato salad. Beans had some pulled pork and were on the sweet side, which was good. Not a busy place Tuesday night. Plenty of seating.

HORRIBLE Customer Service a lot better places to eat bbq.

We went there today and we were ignored, no one greeted us showed a seat or anything so we left, we're not going back again.It wasn't like that back when it was slap ya mamas.

well, the reason for me coming by is because this girl came in my office the other day describing the food. I think her name was theresa, and she said she works at Fat Bottom. very nice girl that knows how to make me hungry. she might have forgotten me, but I didn't forget her. sure enough the food was exactly what she described. great place! a must for everyone to try out, I did! to bad I didn't see her when I went and ate...but I will...

Got a recommendation to try this place. Went in for lunch and found the atmosphere to be very pleasant and the food was really good. I had the nicest waitress named Emily. She was very attentive and always checked on us.The whole staff is extremely friendly and they get your food out very quickly. I would definitely recommend trying Fat Bottoms out of you are in the area.They have changed the name to Kingjacks everything is still amazing.

We were here for a beach wrestling meet. Before the meet we ate. Brisket tacos and surf & turf poboy. My husband said the poboy would be better with more shrimp and chopped brisket rather than sliced.

I’ve been here 4 times. The bbq is exceptionally well done. This last time I had the bbq sampler. Delightful smokiness, tender brisket with levels of flavor, The pulled pork only melted in your mouth but the smokiness gave it a beautiful balanced flavor. The ribs were not only tender but were like smoked ham in flavor and texture, just pleasantly unexpected, the chicken wings were very flavorful and tender. That was a lot of food for two which provided great value. This place is the best bbq I’ve ever had in my life. I keep humming hhhmm with every bite it was almost insidious… lol🤣

It smelled really bad & there also the pork sausage & the pull pork was disgusting don’t not RECOMMEND!

We visited on a Thursday evening after prime dinner hour. Seated right away with drinks. Food was served in <15mins. Very tasty and had leftovers. Chrissy was our server and did a great job. Would definitely recommend.

We went for dinner, we had the bbq sampler, the shredded chopped pork was extremely dry no flavor, the brisket was dry no flavor, the ribs came off the bone but no taste, the sausage was okay, the fried okra was good and the baked beans were okay

Excellent as always! Went around 2pm no crowds no waiting gorgeous view and of course the flavorful refreshing beverages that include 3 chicken wings. We split the brisket plate with fried okra!

A few Chef's critique': We ordered the sampler x2 and the tacos, but requested the pulled chicken so that we could cover all meats. Lets start with the petty stuff. A previous reviewer shared that the green beans were canned... I agree. Canned green beans could be used in many better ways, but the addition of meat (turkey?) Shows an attempt, although a shallow attempt. The fried okra is fried to perfection (straight from the bag). Such a simple southern staple should be trusted in the hands of your kitchen. No need for the bag! Being a beach facing establishment the sausage should be reflective of the culture. Maybe use "Best Stop" andouille sausage? The pulled pork is seasoned so similarly to the pulled chicken in the taco that they are almost indistinguishable. Tacos seem to be topped with sweet baby rays bbq sauce. Cook it and add seasoning to it if that is the case yall! Brisket had an AMAZING rub on it, but lacks a clear smoke definition. Lower and slower? Also a bit dry. Foil is your friend! Nachos..... yall..... this is a such an easy dish. You don't have to go to school for this. Stale chips and canned cheese won't get it done! Mac n Cheese tastes like the grocery store hot bar. Another easy fix. Potato salad is clearly store bought (Costco?) loaded PS. Another easy fix that could yield much better profit if made internally! Ribs are respectable and not complicated. Actually very good for the demographic. Why is the brisket not there with the ribs? Smoked chicken wings are honestly perfect. No complaints and treated properly. Staff and environment when rated against the gulf, absolutely delightful and enjoyable. The perfect platform for a chef to dream big! Either a new chef with a vision should occupy the kitchen, or the owners should allow the current chef to fly!!!! Our server "Shayla" is absolutely in the right business. Her skill in communication, knowledge and honesty is rare! Keep her close and maybe pay attention to her for management! She can do it, but can the owners of this establishment? Our personal, professional and overall opinion... this could be the number one restaurant in all of the gulf if the investment is made in the chef by the owners! Overhead is hard, but not if you are number one in the business. Invest in your kitchen, culture and style! The beach will do the rest. Jalapeño poppers, pretzels with beer dip, sliders, REAL nachoes, and maybe even a charcuterie board built around the gulf? Don't settle for the basics! Find a chef that knows what a taco CAN BE, and yall will be here for our children to enjoy!!!!

We love this place. It is our first stop every time we are in the area. Great food, super friendly staff, fun atmosphere. 5 stars!

Order take out. Wasn’t impressed with the boiled corn, dry ribs, and Kraft Mac and cheese. I expected more with the amount of reviews in the area grading this place as a 4.5.

My brother and my mom travel from Puerto Rico to eat in this place. Also my mother in law visit from Florida. The 3 of them plus my husband and love it .Also is a gluten free friendy .

Disappointed! Food came out literally five minutes after ordering which told me right away it was not fresh. Water tasted like soap. Chips were stale. Once and done.

It was okay. Brisket Tacos I had no flavor. Came with tortilla chips. For $15. My date had brisket quesidilla tasted bland no side with it. $15. Sat at the bar. Was okay. No frills nothing really stood out. Probably won't return.

Great bbq joint. I tried the ribs and pulled pork. I liked both equally. The ribs were a perfect texture and seasoned well. The pulled pork was moist, tender and covered with a very good southern bbq sauce. Baked beans and coleslaw was fresh and tasty as well. Great location on the beach. A wonderful change of pace from the typical coastal food. Service was quick and friendly.

Every time my husband and I go to Biloxi we always make it a priority to go to Fat Bottoms. Great waitresses, great food and great atmosphere!

You can dine inside or outside. Our family of five annoyed everything we ordered and they have some really good drinks for adults. The portions were the right size and the food came out quick and hot. Highly recommend giving this place a try.

Let's start with the positive and say the food was good. My plate was cold but otherwise good. Next, the service was AWFUL! I have worked in the food industry and was a server throughout college and understand the dynamic of customer service. From waiting to be seated without being acknowledge even though two staff members were right in front of us that worked there. I gave a pass bc they were setting up a large party. However, the lady that was standing there ended up being our server and it was AWFUL. Drinks were given about 20 mins after we ordered - no alcoholic beverages. The server deciding bussing tables was more important. No refills and our food order was input incorrectly. After we repeated ourselves 3x’s reiterating our order and she stated she got it — she sure didn't. We waited a while for our to go containers and never were asked for refills - nor did we bother asking at this point bc it was just so POOR SERVICE. We go out for the FOOD & SERVICE. You for sure lost a customer today! Work on building better service with your staff.

One of the hostesses had a bad attitude when we walked in, and we almost left. It's not my fault you had a large group with unruly children. The waitress was nice and friendly. The food was good, and the portions were enormous. The sampler platter is more than enough for two.

Stopped by while visiting Gulfport and Biloxi. Great food, loved the BBQ and each side we ordered was really good as well. We plan to go again when visiting.

Good BBQ must try the brisket and smoke link sausage.

The food is wonderful, the people were really nice, service was fast, there was 5 of us and they had no problem seating us. Just wish they would mail me some of that food.

As I normally say, a lot is said about a restaurant by tasting their signature dish and their sides. Since this is a rendition of the Slap Yo Mama chain, a lot of the chain qualities are there. Frozen corn, not fresh corn on the cob. I didn't know bacon goes in generic potato salad, but it was missing a twang of southern comfort. The main saving grace was the juciness of the okra. I loved the atmosphere with the door decor. I also loved the fact there were 3 different ways into the restaurant; stairs, ramp and elevator. It's a chain restaurant and it was just ok.

Great place for BBQ, and the people and place are great had a pulled pork plate with the okra and potatoe salad. Price is good and not that bad., looking forward to going back in the future.

Our hotel recommended this place. The food was great especially the nachos. It’s right on the beach, so the views cannot be beat. We will definitely stop by the next time we travel through Biloxi.

Brisket was the only good thing at this place. It's a tourist trap at best. The service is horrible, and portions are very small. The meals could've been appetizers. Good luck if you eat here.

The view is the only thing positive. The appetizer was almost instant getting to our table 👍. (However it was tasteless, my buddy and I tried to find the staff so we could add jalapeños to it; the second we opened the balcony doors you could hear the staff out there having a blast talking they had been out there a very long time.) Strike 1 I got the sampler plate with corn on the cob side and coleslaw extra ribs. (That also came out instantly.👍) Food was tasteless 👎 (strike 2) I hadn’t mentioned it out loud but my buddy at this point was very vocal about it telling me how tasteless his plate was so I offered him my wings he was more than game at giving up on his plate and trying something else. But then 1/3 of the way through that idea we got approached saying they forgot to give us stuff to go with our meal then they looked at our corn and took the corn away, returning it with butter. (Random but not the end of my world lol it did however make me question was anything else missing?) the only thing worth eating was the coleslaw I let my buddy try it and we both agreed it’s probably the best we’ve ever had.👍👍 Bbq sauce at the table was great as well I wanted to buy some to take home however food was so tasteless I didn’t want to spend my money there any further. Our waitress never refilled our drinks my empty cup sat at the edge of the table from just after the food arrived. I would have flagged her down but like someone else mentioned in their review the only time we saw her was when she took our order and gave us to go boxes at our checkout. Food was so tasteless I didn’t want to pay the $100 bill.

I am the buddy that Mike Rauch was talking in his review and I concur with everything. Had I known it was the same restaurant that was on the big play parking lot at one time I would have suggested another restaurant. Because me and my wife went a few years ago before they moved across the road and the food was just the same. Coleslaw was great and the fried okra👌 . But service and the rest of the food was definitely below par. And definitely BBQ sauce was on point to.

Visited here and shared the sampler with my wife. I wish they had a 2 meat plate. We also had cheese curds nachos and my wife said her favorite was the cheese fries. My kids had pulled pork Sandwich and tenders and they enjoyed them.

We stopped to dine in on an overcast day, and really wanted to try their bbq. I had the brisket plate with potato salad, and mac n cheese. I must say the brisket had such a good flavor from the smoking, sliced just right. The Mac n cheese was good, but the potato salad was beyond awesome, so good I needed a second helping. I would highly recommend if you’re hungry and in the area, go in and be happy. We had great service, and my ice tea stayed full. Your taste buds will thank you.

Everyone loved their food, I wasn't too fond of the options but I'm pregnant and I can't even handle the smell of meat right now 😅 but I will definitely be back next year, especially after seeing bushwackers on their drinks menu

Too many birds(seagulls) eating off of people plates. Maybe they should look into getting a net to keep the flying animals out. My chicken was fantabulous by the way!!!!

I had a party catered with Fat Bottom and it was a wonderful experience. My family had a blast and bragged about every dish that was cooked. The service was excellent everything on time just a wow experience. The food was great the ribs and chicken make you slap yo mama. Shout out to the kitchen they really did their thing on the food very pleased with everything

The food was cold upon arrival. I got the beef brisket and it was tough and dry. Green beans were canned. Ourwaitress never refilled our drinks. The only time we saw her was when she took our order and gave us our check. She was too busy hanging out at the table behind us. Won't be back. The best part was the view.

The BBQ pulled pork nachos on house made tortilla chips were delicious! Also, the BAKED BEANS ARE THE BOMB!! They actually have pulled pork in them! So tasty! Potato salad was yummy too! Dry rub ribs were good but wish they were the fall-off-the-bone kind. Great views from the outdoor seating. Lots of room inside too. There is an elevator too if you can't do the stairs.

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was bopping. The servers were very friendly but seemed overwhelmed today. Our drinks were empty for nearly ten minutes but they did eventually get to it.

Great bbq. Their brisket is lacking, but that's okay. Don't order brisket on the east side of the Mississippi river. Their Chicken and Pork Ribs are absolutely amazing. Their sauces are also very good. Especially their spicy bbq sauce and their bourbon bbq sauce. Their sides were nothing crazy, but the meat was great. Drank some local beer and had friendly chat with the bartender/server The building is iconic looking. Giant bbq joint on stilts with a very friendly and welcoming boardwalk style vibe with bbq iconography. Likely the best bbq in Mississippi.

Aimed at tourists but good. Chelsea was our server; she was great - friendly and attentive. Everyone liked their food.

You NEED to eat here the food is amazing!!! My husband ordered the sampler bbq plate that came with brisket, chicken wings, pork ribs, pulled pork and sausage links he chose the Mac & cheese and fries as his sides I had the pulled pork sandwich with bacon and coleslaw as my side everything was so tender great flavor simply put the best bbq place we've ever had and we've eaten at a lot of bbq restaurants! Definitely coming back!!

The warning should have been when I arrived on Tuesday there was only five cars in the... There was no air in the elevator going up once you step off the elevator felt like the floor was going to give in. Approaching the desk ask for menu to place a to-go order told us to go to the bar to place our to-go order did not give us menus told us they were men use their got to the bar and no one was there so we had to wait until she finish that to receive a menu....just to order. I feel like if the hostess would have notice the waitress at the bar was busy she would have at least helped her out by giving us menus. The food was unseasoned and throwed together. Basically... I spent $58 for poor service... And poor food and on top of all of that was charged a 5% service.

Coming in big group wasn't the best idea half of the food came out a bit cold, but when I came with my family it was all fresh and hot with their house sauce.

A couple of platters and this group of 4 were stuffed and satisfied. Pulled pork, ribs, and links were great.
