Chill little spot, food was excellent!

Meatballs were cooked perfectly, rivaling our Sicilian nana's; we were able to do 1/2 & 1/2 pizza and the crust was just the right consistency/thickness, flavors popped...delicious!

Food and service were outstanding! The Chicken Parmesan was incredible!

This is the best pizza I've ever had. We had the Ms. Piggy and two others recommended by the server. Our server, Mike, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He was excellent. We sat outside in the shaded patio, which was also very nice.

I was asking the server about $42 Dollars gratitude being add on was that for their tips?? He said no!!! I end up given another $48 dollars out $300 cash that I handed to him because I believe in tips for the workers. Four dishes and house salad, one bottle of red ($50) doesn't cones out to $252 dollars, Anyways gratitude being add on for party of 5 peoples, but please don't tell customers (gratitude wasn't the tips automatically add on) Altogether $42 gratitude plus $48 dollars changes from $300 dollars cash that was paying. Server wasn't being honest, won't ever coming back!!!!! 9-3-2024

When I arrived there was a wait-list. I was by myself and the friendly greeter suggested I consider the last open spot at the bar, which I did. A bar person answered my questions about the food and wine options. I got the spaghetti Bolognese and a glass of the chianti house wine and it was a good match. Looking back, I wish I had ordered a salad as well. The place was friendly, clearly popular, a lot of good conversations going on. Total tab was just over $30 after the tip.

We were road-weary travelers who needed a hearty meal to rejuvenate us. This place is magical. Their pizza puts them in my top three all-time delicious pizza places in existence (that I have tried of course) in the United States. Our waiter was super attentive and gave us excellent suggestions- who knew cucumber beer could be so delicious?? He also gave our younger daughter a dough ball to play with and "make pizza crust" while we waited for our food- which came quickly! Scrumptious. Thanks Fat Olives!

Best Italian Food, service and atmosphere in Flagstaff. Been going here for years when visiting and it's a must stop for every vacation. Isla was again our bright and cheery server. She always gets it right and makes great suggestions. Highly recommended, especially the warm olives appetizer. The lasagna is heavenly.

I wish I would have snapped a picture before I absolutely destroyed that takeout. Wow. Hands down best lasagna i've ever had. The flavor, the texture... bravo.

Very good pizza for being in Arizona and not in Italy, unfortunately the spaghetti with meatballs wasn't that great... because the spaghetti was overcooked and the sauce was watered down... take the pizza and leave the rest alone

This place is the bomb diggity! The reviews don’t do it justice. We didn’t have a reservation and got right in. Gavin was our server and he was great. I was going between lasagna and spaghetti but Gavin told me the pizza was amazing. He said the dough is homemade like the noodles used to be and just more delicious so we both got pizzas and HOLY MACKEREL!!! Both of us are still talking about it 4 days later! It’s some of the best pizza we have ever eaten. EVER!!! And we’ve been to Italy!!😱 The restrooms are clean as is the entire restaurant and we highly recommend Fat Olives if you are visiting the area. There is plenty of parking, even some in the deep shade of some giant trees.

tried the Belgio Dolce pizza based on being a triple D fan and the waiter's recommendation. not something i would normally order based on the description, but it was quite tasty and I would definitely order again! was put off at the beginning by being asked to wait outside in 20 degrees or our car for a table to open up (we are fully vaxxed), but ended up with a solid experience on the food side.

Really great pizza's with gluten free options. Lots of interesting desserts. We went back on a 2nd visit to Flagstaff, as we really enjoyed the food! The place does get really busy at times! We saw a lot of takeout orders.

It started off great, this was our first time (and last), we made reservations (which is highly recommended for a Friday night), our table was ready in time, the server answered our questions about the menu. The side salad was ok, nothing special. Our food came out very quick (which I feel is done on purpose). I had asked for more water, yes just water and I had to ask 3 times to get more water. The server acted annoyed and asked if I wanted it to go. Obviously trying to get us out quick. The kids wanted dessert so we asked to order. They brought it out and by the way we ordered the s’mores pizza, which is super messy, didn’t bring separate plates, forks or napkins. So one guy after watching us struggle brought plates but we had to share the remaining napkin (yes just one napkin) at the table and the only forks left. And then to top it off I had to ask for a to-go box, 3 times. We felt very unwelcome, rushed, and irritated. The food was good, we would return due to the lack of service.

Ordered spaghetti for lunch. Pasta was over cooked. No cheese offered. Very little sauce. Was awful.

Beautifully decorated Italian restaurant ja short drive away from downtown flagstaff. Must be a fav for the locals as it was CROWDED. We were able to walk in around 6:30pm on a Thursday in August (busy season) and get a wait of 35 mins. We sat at the bar. I had the gluten free pizza, which as many of the reviews of their gluten pizza said, is probably the best gluten free pizza I’ve had! Even with being gluten free the crust still has that Neapolitan style (as I remember from my gluten eating days, pre-diagnosis). My pizza was the Marmalade. Don’t think orange marmalade, this was deliciously spicy and sweet with some great bacon and soppressata flavoring. My husband has the pepperoni pizza on regular crust and said it was really good, he tried my gluten free pizza and was also impressed! He also had the cannoli, said it was mid, and a few local beers. Sadly their flourless chocolate cake although gluten free is not soy free so I did not get to try it. Not sure if the chocolate mousse is soy free but it is gluten free! I do not recommend coming here if you have a dairy intolerance as you will be in for a hard night. Any one else, this is a MUST try whilst in flagstaff! Also the staff are buzzing! Phenomenal crew. Sorry no pictures, it was too delicious to even wait a moment to dig in!

I read a lot of reviews on a bunch of places and this one stood out. The people giving bad reviews here are one or both of these things: 1)haters 2)never worked in a restaurant. This place was SLAMMED. with a wait, people out side, inside, it was raining, it was also WEDNESDAY. Go here. Get the flat bread. We ordered to go from our hotel and recommended this place HIGHLY. Amazing food. Amazing service. Minimal wait given the business volume. 10/10

I wanted a high-top table, but the only one available was next to 2 women who put their purses on the chairs of the table the hostess just asked me if I was willing to sit at the bar. The food and service were great, Those 2 women ignored

The food is subpar unless you’re going for the pizza - then it’s decent flavor just burned on the outside and doughy in the middle which is odd cause the middle was paper thin. The wait staff was frazzled and our drinks were only refilled once. We got our food but no utensils. I can keep going - but to end the night we received our check and it wasn’t even ours… so yeah - not impressed. Also don’t seat the patio area if you’re aware the mosquitos are heavy that night, waitstaff “oh yeah they’re really bad out tonight everyone has complained” … seriously?

I have been here multiple times and the thing that keeps bringing me back is the food. The food is very good and always comes out quickly. However, the service is consistently awful. Never get drink refills. The servers are rude and always seem inconvenience by the fact that they have to serve you. Which is a shame because the food is always so good.

Delicious food. Our waiter was the best. We sat on the patio Sunday around 3pm and it was perfect service and great food.

We sat at the bar and were pleasantly greeted and welcomed by Cameron and Bella. Both of them suggested their favorite on the menu and neither were wrong. Pay them more boss man or woman! These two know their stuff. We enjoyed conversing with both of them while they were working hard to keep up with all the drink orders. Nice hire on both of these top performers. Well done!

We had the pizza. Not sure what the crowds were there for, but the pizza had a burnt taste. Not for me.

Ordered in person and waited over 1 hour for one pizza. Would have preferred if they had just said no rather than over promise and under deliver. Understaffed. 4% surcharge is deceptive and dishonest. Prices higher in person than on business website or online ordering sites. Would like my pre tip back

A very nice Italian restaurant in the heart of Flagstaff on Route 66. Great food and friendly service.

This is the place for people who know and love real Italian food. Enough said that the bolognese sauce is made with cream, as it should. I had the pizza with mozzarella di bufala, fennel sausage, and roasted onions. We are VERY picky about pizza having lived in New Haven. Green salad was enought for two and the canoli and espresso are a must. We went on a Tuesday but we were told that sometimes reservations are best.

This place was absolutely absolutely amazing. The outside is unimposing and once you step inside, it’s like going into an entirely different world. The ambience is very nice and I showed up right at 11 AM when they open. I’m glad that I did because shortly there after the restaurant was almost entirely full. I ordered the marmalade pizza and it was delicious. It was a little wetter than I prefer, but with a hot honey pizza that’s kind of the expectation. my server, Gavin was amazing. He never had me want for anything. He was kind and had a conversation with me while he could. The worst part about my experience was that I forgot my leftovers at the table.

If you truly love pizza. Eat here. Get the marinated olives and get the Margherita di bufala mozzarella, holy mind blown. Taste just like when we were Italy if not better.

Authentic pizza place ever!!!! If you miss the taste of Italy, I would highly recommend to order Margarita D.O.C or Bufala Margarita or Marinara. These three are approved by Italian chefs!!! Also try the 3rd place winner international pizza Expo “ Belgio Dolce Pizza”. This pizza has amazing combinations/ taste of spicy sweet with the crunchiness of pistachio!!!!

This pizza is delicious. Flagstaff has two pizza places that are good...Fat Olives and one of the best pizza places in Arizona.

We went there yesterday for an early dinner. Initially I was thinking of pasta but after exploring the menu decided on the award winning adovada pizza and was warned by the waitress that it was spicy! Perfect! 👌 Enjoyed the margarita as well. My wife and friend also had the two types of sangria. My friends had the arugula pizza and the rigatoni. My wife had the spicy shrimp pizza. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Thank you! 🙏🏽

This was our first time at Fat Olives and it was recommended to us by a friend. We were not disappointed! We ordered the Carnivore pizza and it was delicious! For dessert we had the flourless chocolate cake (recommended by our awesome server Jacob) and the chocolate mousse. Wow! A perfect way to end our meal. The only tiny complaint we had is the chairs and booth seats are wood, so not very comfy. But we'll definitely come again!

We both ordered the meatball pasta with ragu, but what we received was far from what was described. There was no ragu, just plain tomato sauce, and the pasta was overcooked and pre-cut?!. To top it off, it was served with a teaspoon. The cocktails were ok. Pizza's of our neighbours looked good. The restaurant also felt very crowded, with more than 15 waiters on the floor, making the atmosphere a bit too hectic for my taste.

It was very busy when we got there, but we soon got a table outside in the back yard. The food didn't really have much to do with Italian cuisine. The pizza was good. The lasagne actually has a clump of mozzarella cheese. The meatballs with spaghetti were rather bland. The service was very fake and rather bored. It was ok but I probably wouldn't go there again.

I'm Italian. I grew up eating the best of the best Italian food. I can point out the best delis, restaurants and supermarkets....and unfortunately Fat Olive will not be a restaurant that we'll return to. I'm so bummed because the photos looked so good but, pictures aren't always worth a thousand words. First, my drink came with parmesan cheese flakes in it. Gross. We tried the burrata app, which came at the end of our meal because our waitress forgot to put it in. We also had the artichokes app, caprese, flatbread, kids spaghetti, kids lasagna, and a meat pizza. My hubby really liked his pizza, so a plus there. The flatbread was ok, not bad. HOWEVER, that's where the good review ends. The caprese came over peppered and with no Basil. I'm sorry but caprese isn't caprese without the basil.... it's just cheese n tomatoes. I also had to scrape the piles of pepper off. The artichoke hearts were not just the hearts. This one made me giggle because it told me that if the "chefs" don't know what an artichoke heart is, then the rest of the food isn't going to be good....and it wasn't. The green Mayo dip that comes with it, tastes like green Mayo. The "hearts" were tough to eat. The kids meals, all I can say is NASTY! The pasta was overcooked and unsalted. The sauce was red water and tasted like red peppers....literally like red pepper sauce. My kids, who normally like most things had to return their dishes because they refused to eat them. My eldest was gagging on the kids lasagna. Lastly, they lack ice in their drinks and the soda is flat. AND no manager ever came to apologize. Guy Fieri's taste buds were way off on this one!

Yum... authentic Italian, what a treat. I had the chicken Alfredo with mushrooms. It was a generous portion with lots of meat. Definitely a great choice all around.

What a find in northern Arizona. Pizza margherita was exceptional. Perfectly constructed with a crisp crust. Fat Olive pizza on gluten free crust was the best ever.

We shared the Marmalade pizza and an arugula salad. Very tasty. A bit loud as a large table with several young kids was nearby. A 4% Service Fee surcharge ($2.50) added to the bill was a bit of a surprise. I missed it in tiny print on the menu. We overheard a server explaining it to diners at an adjacent table. I think the servers take a lot of heat explaining it to the patrons and likely their tips suffer. Wonder why management didn't just raise menu prices 50¢ on a few items instead. Needless hassle for the servers to bear.

Food was awful. Gluten free pizza was equivalent to eating a burn cracker. Hard as a rock and so thin you could nearly see through. Service was terrible. The waitress was very slow, and left all our drinks empty constantly. She would walk by, make eye contact with us and keep walking. Also note, they charge 4% “service fee” on all bills, on top of keeping your coin change if you pay cash (if your total is .02, they keep the .98). We factored both the 4% and the change they kept into the tip. They are doing nothing but hurting the servers.

Was a little hesitant getting pizza here coming from CT, but wow did this place deliver on all fronts. Nice relaxed atmosphere, super friendly and attentive staff. We started with a couple specialty drinks on their menu and roasted olives which were both fantastic. Olives were warm and well seasoned. Next we opted for their VP pizza special which was a vodka sauce with prosciutto. This caught both my wife and I off guard. The flavors were incredible. Vodka sauce had a nice tang, but not over bearing and the house made mozzarella was smooth and rich. The dough made. Thick with a good chew, but very light which is a tough combination to get right. Finally we wrapped with a dessert calzone which was a perfect finale. Again the dough was light and tasty and while the chocolate was bold and dominant the fresh whipped cream countered it wonderfully. One of my top dinners this year and a must hit spot when traveling through Flagstaff!

An amazing experience! The pizzas we got were excellent (and there were so many to choose from). The staff were great, very attentive. There was a minor issue with one of our pizzas, and they went above and beyond to take care of it!

The food was awesome, we had one of the pizzas and also one of the pesto pasta dishes the food was great definitely I would say probably one of the best pizzas I had, wife really loved the pesto sauce. Atmosphere was great even later at night when we stopped at 8--8:30pm the place was still decently crowded, which I took as a sign of great food. Did not disappoint, the leftocer pizza I had even tasted near the same and was just as tasty the next day.

Service was good, but the food was awful. Ordered a pesto spaghetti with a side salad and chicken added. What came out was a pesto soup with chicken that was rubbery. The side salad didn't come out until 10-15 minutes after the pasta had been served. The side ceasar salad was fridge burned with more heel of the salad than leaf. The dressing didn't even taste like a ceasar dressing but instead a watered downed flavorless dressing, just like the pesto sauce was. Service wise, our waitress didn't even acknowledge that the food was barely eaten, ask if it was OK, or if there was anything she could do. I would think if you see someone barely eats any of the food, maybe they would ask if something was wrong

Food in this place is simply amazing. We enjoyed both pasta and pizza also desserts. This place is a real gem. Strongly recommended!!!

The worst pizza I've ever had. Minimal amt of sauce had zero seasoning, no herbs, barely a tomato flavor. Crust tasted a like a low end frozen pizza.

Our server was Tatum, she was absolutely fantastic! She wasn’t sure if she was receiving the tips for the evening as she was in training but I have to mention whoever was in charge of the section did not stop by once if so. Tatum answered my questions and her demeanor was inviting and quick in regards to service. This was my second visit the food was fantastic once again, highly recommend the artichoke heart appetizer. Any pizza on that menu is going to please as well.

My husband and I had dinner at Fat Olive’s a couple weeks ago with our Granddaughter. The appetizer was good. However, when it came to our entree which was Lasagna, it was the worst Lasagna I have ever had. I had a few bites and left the rest. This is the second time we’ve had a bad experience at Fat Olive’s. We will not be eating there again.

This place was the last stop on a short trip we made through Arizona. While Neapolitan is not my preferred pizza style, this was the best version of it that I've ever had. I really enjoyed the food and if I lived in the area I would become a regular guest.

I am absolutely positive. They changed the chicken. Chicken is rubbery and it tastes bad. Not to mention they’re adding a an illegal junk fee onto your bill. Make them that fee before you sign the bill! The owner should be ashamed of himself. my girls come home from college and this is the first place they want to go and this last time they were very disappointed

Went here for lunch with the family. This was only our second visit ever. We were greeted by the hostess when we walked in. She got us seated right away. We hadn't even settled in before we were greeted by our server Michael. He promptly took our drink order and left us to look over the menu. When he came back with our drinks he noticed our toddler was a bit fussy and we were still trying to get him settled so we could see what we want to order. Without hesitation Michael offered to bring some dough from the kitchen for the kids to play with. I really appreciated the way the kids didn't even phase him. He came back to check on us several times throughout the meal to make sure drinks were full and to make sure we were all set. He is a wonderful server and he deserves a raise! We usually have to leave the kids at home to get the kind of service we got today. The food was amazing as well. We ordered the Margherita Pizza and Rigatoni! They were large serving sizes and the flavors were next level! The kids meal pizzas were huge! They probably could have shared a pizza. One of our favorite places to eat in Flagsgaff.

Forget trying to place a to go order, high school kids, acting out. Skip the rude experience.

Fat olives has become a new reason for me to go to Flagstaff. Honestly meant to take a pic of the full pizza but I ate it to fast. Probably the best pizza I've eaten in a decade. I got the carnivore and even though it had a pile of meat on it, it was still light with a terrific tomato sauce. My daughter ate her pasta in record time so it was the rare occasion of not having anything to take home in a box. Definitely recommend going here and worth whatever wait you have to endure. P.s. The creme brulee cheesecake is amazing

The Belgio Dolche pizza took our breath away. I have never tried anything with that flavor profile before. We're hooked.

Unbelievable! Lived in Chicago and New York area and very familiar with a good slice of pie. Just go listen to the servers and you won't regret it! Atmosphere gave it a 4 just because you need reservations and not what you think when you go to an Italian joint but would 100 percent be back again wow!

Not sure what else can be said about this great place. Atmosphere and concept are superb. Food is excellent. Michael is a superb server!!! Super personality. Ability to connect. Friendly. Welcoming. Lasagna is excellent. Spaghetti and meatballs is perfect. Very good wine list. Try an Italian soda for a special treat.

The pizzas we got as take out were not prizewinners.. Our hopes for air in their VPN crust sadly fell flat. Really disappointing. My Margherita was edible if very salty and nowhere near where a wood fired Neapolitan should be.

The bruschetta was amazing...2 of the 3 pizzas we ordered were amazing the 3rd was just not a good flavor for us so I won't hold that against them :). Another place in Flagstaff we added as a must return when we travel north to get out of the heat in Phoenix. Oh I almost forgot I took a slice of the creme brulee cheesecake home with me and it was fantastic :)

Overpriced Olive Garden Knock off without the included salad and breadsticks! I have no idea how this place is rated 4.6 in the choices in Flagstaff are so dismal that this is considered high end. We stopped in here for dinner at the start of a road trip…thinking it would be a good way to fill 3 teenagers up…not the case. Except the spaghetti and meatballs the portion sizes were small for an Italian restaurant. For 5 people the bill was will over $120 and no alcohol was ordered ! Service was on and the environment was was way noisy…

Stopped in after doing touristy things, since Fat Olives is on the way to the hotel. Limoncello margarita was good, Cesar was…lacking funk and flavor (no detectable anchovy or salt), pizza was very good/excellent, tiramisu was flavorless - where was the espresso and booze? Great service, nice venue. But stick with pizza and drinks.

The service was atrocious, with a hidden 18% tip sneakily added without any mention, Including loud atmosphere.
