Dirty seats, and when I asked for napkins, I was ignored. The waitress told me to find a cleaner table. Meanwhile, I waited 10 minutes to be asked what I wanted to order. I left and won’t waste my time here. The menu’s numbers are hard to read and inconsistent. Years ago, I had decent shrimp tacos, but the restaurant is now disgusting and unprofessional.

This is an underrated gem of Davie. Food is out of control and service is amazing. Cecilia was our server and she was super sweet. Can’t wait to come back!

I recently visited this fantastic spot for breakfast, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations! The breakfast options were both delicious and satisfying, with fresh ingredients and great flavors. But what really stole the show was their burger. Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, it’s easily one of the best I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place for a hearty start to the day or a fulfilling lunch. Highly recommend checking it out!

Nice little place thats fancy but not overly expensive. Service was fast, food was fresh, staff were friendly. I ordered the Crusted Salmon with mashed potatoes as a side, was delicious, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Absolutely loved the plating too. Would recommend this place for casual meetings!

We love Fat Stork and come fairly often. The menu is a little eclectic, but they have many nightly specials and the food is always great. Service is also fabulous. Recently had grilled Mahi, which was nicely cooked in a white wine sauce and mashed potatoes, which are always great. Nice little local place with friendly staff.

I loved this restaurant such a cute place. When I first walked in, I was a little confused as to whether we sat ourselves or waited cause we were not really greeted which started me on the wrong foot. Once we sat, we ordered our food and it was really good. I ordered the chicken kabobs which came with fries and i believe they were the best kabobs i’ve ever had! I will say the menu is way different than what appears online and we arrive around 3 and they had already started on the dinner menu which starts at 5 so i was a little confused. Lastly, towards the end when my group was still talking, they had asked us to close our tab cause we were taking to long, I just found that a bit odd since that’s never happened and no one else was in the restaurant. Overall great place, I just think their menu on Google needs to be updated.

Unbelievably, the food here keeps getting better and better. Their new item, coconut curry shrimp, was sublime. Full of fluffy tender shrimp with a sauce that has so many layers of flavor, I couldn't begin to tell you what they all are. There was a happiness in my mouth I've never experienced before. This food is made with love. My daughter was just as ecstatic about her Tikki Masala. My husband always has the steak. It's like a United Nations of flavor. Not to be missed!

If someone says that this salmon is too small they need glasses or they are intentionally trying to sabotage this restaurant. The quality of food is excellent and the prices are reasonable especially for the quality of food. The servers are friendly and hard working.

AFTER SEEING ALL THE GLOWING REVIEWS I DECIDED TO GO SEE WHY THEY HAD A 4.8 RATING ON GOOGLE! I WAS THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTED! ORDERED SALMON WHICH CAME WITH A SIDE. TASTED VERY BLAND AND SUCH A SMALL PIECE, LOOKED LIKE 5 OZ. HAD A SIDE SALAD. WASNT WORTH $19.95! 3 PEOPLE BESIDES MYSELF AT 7: 30 . SERVICE WAS ALSO JUST FAIR. WILL NEVER GO AGAIN!

Wow!!!!!!!!What a find. We were in the area and I googled lunch near me and this restaurant came up. Everything just great. My husband got the ribs and I shared shrimp taco's with my granddaughter and it was all so so good. The wait staff was so nice and friendly. All good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow!Wow!Wow! How is this place not packed with people fighting to get on the waiting list? What an amazing hidden gem. The food was impeccable, the taste, presentation and portion! Every bite was hardy. Our waitress Jasmin was informative and courteous. We felt so welcomed walking in. I highly highly recommend the peach sangria! I ate the mushroom burger and truffle fries, and my husband had the churrassco steak tacos! Amazing all around and compliments to the chef! We will be back to try all their other options.

Appetizer (spinach dip) was smooth and tasty 😋! The burgers (regular and mushroom) were cook to perfection and tasted amazing! 5 stars all around.

I was pleasantly surprised with the food at the Fat Stork. The fish tacos had a generous amount of grilled mahi and a mountain of cabbage atop. Had the sweet plantains on the side and they were such a treat. Thank you for a great meal that definitely felt fresh and local.

Hidden gem! The food, service and atmosphere are outstanding. We just got back from a weekend at a high end resort, and unanimously rated this place significantly better in terms of quality and price. Large selection and outstanding service. This is our new regular neighborhood place!

Quaint restaurant in Cooper City. The food was delicious, I had the Shrimp Curry and my husband the mojo pork, although the Moros rice was a bit dry, the pork was cooked to perfection. The service by our waiter Alejandro was exceptional. .

Server Jasmine was extremely hospitable! Service was really quick, we had lots of questions and she answered all of them! Food was pretty good too but the service was really the standout part for me. Will definitely be back

Hidden gem! My partner and I were pleasantly surprised by how amazing our food tasted. I would’ve taken photos if I wasn’t so eager to eat immediately. Kudos to the chef for making yummy food and plating it so pretty. We ordered the ribeye with jalapeño mashed potatoes and churrasco with truffle fries. Everything was devoured. Can’t believe we haven’t discovered this place sooner. Our server - can’t recall her name, but I know she’s from Jamaica- was lovely . Will be back again!

Understated exterior but the interior is very welcoming! The food is amazing with great portions for your money and the service is super friendly and attentive! Will definitely come again and recommend to others!

This is a "HIDDEN GEM!" If you're not looking you might just drive past it, but I strongly recommend you look harder!!! From the outside you might not think it looks like much but as they say don't "Don't judge a book by its cover!" When you step inside it's transformed into an unexpected delight! Comfortable booths, good sized tables, clean floors, very personable staff and the food! OMG, the food is SO GOOD!!! The portions are generous, tasty and fresh! Tracia was amazing! She anticipated all of our needs and was incredibly friendly. This just might our new "Go to!"

Although it doesn’t look like much from the outside, you have to eat at this delicious spot! Serving everything from tacos & burgers to kebabs, pasta & sushi, there is something for everyone served by friendly staff at affordable prices. You must try this place. My kiddo said the chicken nuggets were the best ever. My burger was AMAZING (see photo, it was a yummy as it looks). Now I know where to eat when I’m near Davie 🫶🏼

One of the best burgers in the area, good service, this includes that I ordered a lemonade and the lady who served us realized that this lemonade was not good and changed it for us, she was very observant and very professional in doing so.

This was our first time going to the Fat Stork and it definitely won't be our last! It looks like a little whole in the wall type of restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere inside! Very clean and our waiter was fantastic. He was very attentive and the food was fantastic. A lot of the time I compare eating out to whether or not I could have made the same thing at home, this one I couldn't compare! The food was a 10/10 and probably one of the best burgers I have had in awhile!

For at least a decade now, i have avoided all chain restaurants - in favor of small business restaurants. Many are absolute GEMS like this one. Yep it’s in a strip mall. Nope, no valet LOL. The food is flat out 5 stars for the price range . The flavors! So good. My roommate ordered the $20 blue cheese burger, an epic presentation - and i left his 6’2” body in the picture so you can get a true sense of size of this “thing”. He was smart enough to cut it in half and ended up getting 2 meals out of it. I ordered the house salad and the shrimp tacos [2]. Amazing for a house salad - see the pic - and it came already dressed in a very tasty lemon vinaigrette. Bam! The shrimp tacos were simply a tastebud delight with all the different flavors. Look at the pic on that and you can identify many of the things in it. just a wonderful place! 5 stars! val

The food here is so fresh and delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Service is perfect. I can’t understand why we were the only ones there. With this quality food and excellent service, it should be filled to capacity every night.

I love this place. Third time there tonight and we are always able to get right in. The food is just insanely good. I can't go there without getting the bacon wrapped dates. Their tacos are insane and the ribs are fall off the bone good. Jalapeño mashed potatoes - you just can't get a bad meal here. Love the carb free spicy tuna roll. The wait staff is always on point and nice. Food presentation is beautiful. I hope everyone local tries this place - I want them to be here for years to come. Can't recommend it enough.

This is a little dive diner and we just happen across it when looking for places to get lunch after our boat ride. We found a GEM!! This place is fantastic! The server we had was so nice to us and attentive and she was the only one in the whole place. We shared a BLT that had chicken on it and was so good! The fries are amazing too! This is place is out there, but it is definitely worth the drive. The atmosphere was a little less desirable, but the food and service far outweighed any issues with that. Loved this place!

We were the only patrons on Saturday evening at 5:30 and now I know why. The food was forgettable and the service extremely slow. The atmosphere did not warrant the kind of prices they asked. We could have better food and atmosphere for the same price at Bahama Breeze or Bonefish Grill.

First time tonight to Fat Stork in Davie on the South side of Griffin just East of Pine Island in a little strip mall. Walking in, it’s really cute, the lights provide a really nice ambiance with nice relaxing music played at a pleasant volume. There is one big screen TV that was NOT on which made me happy. Waiter was prompt and my 12 yr old daughter and I split the spinach artichoke dip and their standard Stork burger but with American chz per the picky 12 yr old. The dip was fantastic!! We were both surprised at how creamy, cheesy and flavorful it was. The bowl was emptied right as our Medium burger arrived. It’s a hefty burger. We were joking that we REALLY hoped it would be as good as the dip was. And it was! Cooked perfectly, seasoned so well. The bun was even really good. The fries were really great, nicely seasoned. Our waiter Alejandro did a great job but it was also a team effort from 2 other guys helping out. As soon as we took the first bite of the burgers, we said we’re definitely coming back. We agreed we have to try other dishes out will just be stuck on these 2. Bathroom was immaculate 😎

The food was wonderful twice. First time was Shrimp Alfredo. They nailed it. Second time was the churasco skirt steak. Nailed it again. Just mouth watering succulent steak. This place is hitting 5 star on every dish they provide. Their appetizers have been great too. Be back tomorrow. Can't wait

Place makes food, and serves with love! Everything we ate was AWESOME! Definitely will be coming back! I had the steak kebabs, my wife had the shrimp fat boy, also had some jalepeno mashed potato’s which were SO GOOD. Even down to our daughter’s kids tenders fresh and juicy. Also some BOMB fries. YUM

The Fat Stork is amazing! I had the kebab platter and the flavor of each item was well balanced. The platter came with Flatbread and 4 different delicious dips but they were not needed as the Flatbread was very flavorful all on its own but complimented the flatbread very well. I had 4 in my party and we were surprised to see there were poor reviews on this place as our experience was the best yet since we have been in Florida. Service was great and the the place is small and quaint. Perfect quiet place to have a delicious meal.

A charming and delightful array of dishes. The owner was our waiter and he was so attentive and generous with suggestions. A marvelous experience. The food is so delicious and we ordered 2 appetizers and three entrees and dessert. Everything was so delicious and bountiful. Bring a hearty appetite as the portions are large but it won't hit your pocketbook hard. The prices are very reasonable which was a wonderful surprise given the quality and presentation of the food I recommend checking this Mom and Pop local hidden gem. From the outside, this little diner is so unassuming. Once you walk in, you know you're in for a treat. We ordered the Tuna Tartare and Spinach & Artichoke dip for appetizers. Both were FRESH and unique experiences. For our entrées, we ordered the Kebab Platter and Spicy Thai Salad. Both were amazing! The kebabs were perfectly seasoned, and the spicy thai salad had the perfect "heat". This restaurant is highly recommended.

We found this restaurant in a strip mall, by googling the best place to eat near me.. they weren't wrong! Delightful service. And the food! The food was awesome! We had the artichoke dip, fish tacos, and a huge house salad with steak (I still want to know how they cooked the steak! ) it was perfection. Oh, and we took with us a piece of lemon cello cake. It was all so yummy.

Great little place for delicious food

In for an early dinner on a Wednesday at 3:30. Nice inside with plenty of seating. ORDERED: Churrasco Steak medium rare with Chimichurri sauce applied $24.25 Came with a Cesar salad. Tender, Tasty & cooked just right. Already cut into bite size pieces. The only negative. For the price it could have been bigger. A small side of red beans and rice. $3.95 OK but pretty dry. Service was good. A long way from home. May go back.

Today was our first time eating here and the service was beyond our expectations. The young kid host is extremely hospitable which was a nice surprise considering not many people are so welcoming. Our waitress was great and the food was delicious. Nice mom and pop shop for sure!

This is my family’s new favorite go-to spot!!! I came before and loved my experience but it wasn’t until I brought my kids and I swear I’ve never seen them eat so much !!!!! Clean plates all around not to mention the big smile and full bellies!! I’m a happy momma - will be back once a week at least from now on!!!!

Charming new restaurant in the same plaza as is located uncle Al’s. Nice choices on the menu, by the breakfast, lunch or dinner. Every time we go back, we try something else. We’ve never had a bad dish. The owner and Service there are all gracious and wonderful to be around! Truly a gem in the Davie/Cooper City area. The burgers are amazing. We’ve tried them all!

Small very nice and clean restaurant. Very local orientated. We tried the waffle and Nutella and a poboy sandwich. Po'boy was OUTSTANDING just tasted fresh and flavorful. I could eat 100 easy. Waffle was good but nothing compared to sandwich. Service was super polite. Prices not bad. We will return a lot. I think the magic happens most for the dinner service!

My family went to Fat Stork this week and had a great meal! We started with a spicy tuna "sushi roll." I use words because it wasn't a traditional sushi roll. It was served on thick slices of cucumber. It was different but very tasty! I ordered their version of a po' boy with truffle fries. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the sauce and toppings they used complemented it well. The truffle fries were super tasty! My wife ordered the blue cheese burger and it was massive! Meat cooked perfectly, tons of crispy bacon, tons of crispy onion straws and a perfectly funky blue cheese made for an amazing burger! Definitely would recommend this place.

We live nearby and had never seen this place. We found it today and have been pleasantly surprised. The food and customer service were excellent. We had the BLT, steak tacos and got complementary shrimp tacos because the chef made a mistake, the shrimp tacos ended up being the best part of the meal. Great staff- friendly and fast service. Nice hidden gem in Davie! Excellent ambiance with very nice and attentive staff. The food is delicious, a fusion of different cuisines prepared tastefully and perfectly. The spinach dip is delicious with chunks of artichoke and garlic with a very creamy finish. The chicken Alfredo pasta is probably one of my favorite pastas that I’ve eaten in a while, and the churaasco steak with a chimichurri garnish is to die for! 10/10 and can’t wait to back back and try brunch!!

We found this Gem the night before Halloween and we enjoyed everything.... the spooky decorations plus the wonderful food and service. I cant wait to go again and try some of the rest of the menu. We recommend the Meatball Pasta and the Fat Stork burger. Awesome!!!

The food presentation was impressive! They have the best avocado toast I have ever had, with feta crumbles, thin marinated onions, red peppers, balsamic glaze, and a poached egg on top.... Bravo!!! This is my third time here, the experience is always fantastic and I have loved every meal. I highly recommend!

We came across this gem on a whim and it definitely didn't disappoint. We had the chicken and beef kebabs and they were delicious. Their dipping sauces were soooo good. The service was excellent and I adored the old school jazz music they played. Definitely check them out. We will be back for sure.

Eclectic menu with something for everyone. Service was absolutely phenomenal despite only a single server on the floor. Did everything he could to help out my table and others, I'm sure. Would definitely recommend, they seem to really care about this place being successful.
