Love the staff and the vibes of the bar! Especially Lizzie, the sweetest and coolest waitress!

Lizzie is the highlight of this place, she’s patient, attentive, and goes above and beyond for her customers. The atmosphere is nice and inviting, food is perfect for a night out with friends and the drinks are customizable and delicious.

The Shepherd's Pie was really great, and the drink menu was extensive. Our waiter was so enthusiastic and gave great recommendations. You can just tell when someone loves their job, and all of the positive vibes. Will be back again.

One of my favorite spots in Sunnyvale to grab a Guiness and a turkey club before going to the movies. Bar has a cool English / Irish pub vibe so def recommend coming here with your mates for some Guiness Food- recommend their turkey club sandwich

Slow and inattentive staff. Have left the last two times without getting any service. Taps aren’t cleaned and the beer quality suffers.

My husband and I have gone here a few times and enjoy ourselves each time! Their food is delicious and service is excellent! They even serve my favorite..shepherd pie! 🤤 and have a drink of your choice!!

Great renovations done recently, the bathrooms are very nice and the rest of the place looks in great shape. Patio is very nice place to sit on a warm day.

Liam and his family are a joy to be around and very hospitable people being I have a lot of Irish and Scottish in my background these are fantastic people and they're redoing their location to make it even more hospitable for more appreciative people and great locals for a great eating and drinking experience.

A very atmospheric and noisy Irish pub. Getting inside is like being transported to another country and discovering something new. We were there on Friday evening. You need to find a table yourself, so I advise you not to yawn and immediately go looking for it before someone more active gets ahead of you. On Fridays there are a lot of people and it’s almost impossible to find a free table, but we were lucky. I can also tell you - if you are very hungry, it is better to go to another establishment. For example, we waited for our order for more than 40 minutes and it was not happy. The service is quite long - it looks like the waiters can’t cope with such a flow of people. In general, the food is not bad, and the selection of alcoholic drinks, including beer, is quite good.

Love the vibes and food here. Their new Orleans wings are super delicious.

Got Shepherds pie and Guinness beef stew, both were delicious. Also they have a wide variety of draft beer and cider!

A wonderful place for Irish stew and Irish style shepherd pie! The food is simply delicious with copious amount of tasty gravy and plenty of vegetables, in addition of course to the melt in your mouth lamb and beef! I came in yesterday to get my St. Patrick's day "fix" but the food smelled so delicious that I decided to splurge in a day ahead. While I ordered take out I could tell the place would be very lively on the most Irish day of the year (screens with Irish music and other great entertainment). The person taking my order was very friendly and attentive even though it was my first time here. We intend to come back for dine in sometime soon!

Standard Irish bar, they do have good beer on top which is a treat.

It's alright, can be hit or miss at times. However if you're looking for a spacious bar and a handful of pool tables with a bit of eye candy. You'll enjoy.

Went on a busy Friday night to this Irish Bar, very lively atmosphere, enjoyable food, reasonable prices, good service, when visiting Sunnyvale call in and check it out you won't be disappointed.

I got charged over 20 dollars for 2 bud light that were on the menu for about 5 dollars. The tab didn't have any mention of the drinks themselves, just the overall charge to the card. Looked to me as if the guy at the bar gave himself a generous 100% tip as I'm not from the area.

Great place to meet with friends. I had the BLT for lunch, good choice. They cook their own chips, don't be afraid to try them. I love em.

They didn't have mezcal. It's changed since I've been here it's very quiet now. But it's an ok place.

Reminded me of the old Irish bars back in Boston !

Came there after long day at work and was looking forward to food and drinks. Were seated rather quickly and in hindsight that was not good. We were seated in the rear of the establishment. Our waiter seemed lost most of the time. I had the steak and salad with iced tea. We waited for almost one hour to receive our food which was mediocre at best. I got one refill of my tea and only once because I called waited for the refill. I will not return.

Good place with good choices for beer with food.

Good, mostly original Irish fare, many beers, one good cider, cocktails. A bit pricey but it's ok. Now that nearby Lili Mac has closed it may become my regular haunt on Murphy! Update: it isn't any more as I just learned they chose not to serve at outside tables, at least not when a football game is going on: I'll probably never go there again if I can possibly avoid it.

My 1st time at Fibber MacGees, may be my last, ordered Amaretto with Pineapple juice, very little Amaretto (couldnot taste it or see it in the glass)and pineapple juice is watered down.

Relative to other places in the area Fibbar's is fine. The food is okay but pricey. I got a turkey club sandwich with house chips. The sandwich was quite good but the chips were a bit soggy/ undercooked. Service was also noticeably slow and intermittent. They were decorated nicely for Halloween and outdoor seating is a plus.

Great Lunch and Dinner Full bar and Great Fun on any game day.

Really nice and cozy place with good food, beer, and service

My drink was spiked at this bar by the bartender! I was here 9/28 starting around 10pm. I was talking with a man named Caleb who was friends with the bartender and ordered a beer around 11pm. That beer was spiked with something, I only had a few sips and my tongue and fingers started feeling numb, my head started feeling fuzzy. I saw a dark spot on the glass fizzing excessively. I set the beer to the side and didn’t drink from it again, my symptoms cleared up, I closed my tab and left. I do not know the reason my drink was spiked, I was there by myself, 36m and said I was from out of town. I think these people are dangerous criminals and should be treated as such. I do not know the bartenders name but he was 5’9 heavy set, Hispanic, with earrings from San Diego. The patron he was friends with name was Caleb, white 37, said he worked at Whole Foods but was also a barista? Not the best welcome to Silicon Valley.

We went there twice in a week. Service was always very friendly. Great choice of beers, ambiante was really enjoyable. Definetively a worth a visit: we enjoyed the food. Big nice portions!

Great location in downtown Sunnyvale. Both indoor and outdoor seating. There are multiple televisions inside to watch sports events, was college football when I went. The chicken curry was great, got veggies which were steamed and a really nice touch with the fries. The Irish breakfast was a hit as well.

How dare they say they cannot serve me because they were uncomfortable serving me! It's my birthday! I was happy! My husband has business events there! How rude! No more!

This is a cool casual Irish bar, with a nice patio area. The food and service is above average, very good for a bar.

Good location in downtown Sunnyvale. Sat at the back patio. Small area but felt cooler than inside. Service takes long because you have to order through one server who is usually busy at peak times. Food wasn't great. Fish and chips were ok. Big portion. Save your money and eat somewhere nicer. Decor looked authentic.

Great no frills pub with extensive beer list.

Met 2 buddies here last week for beer and snacks. They have a great selection of beer which is hard to find. The service is friendly and homey. The staff make you feel at home. But the fried snacks were unremarkable and bland. Even the garlic fries lacked flavor too!

Nice Irish pub. I had the cod fish tacos and chicken strips. Will definitely visit again when I'm back in California.

Music isn't too loud to actually have a conversation with a work connection or network over drinks and chips. Huge serving of fries. Their radio played a lot of Beatles which was a good thing.

We watched the game there this afternoon. It was great, we sat at the bar and there were a ton of people watching the game. The bartender was nice. We had a Hennessy sidecar and sliders. Good atmosphere, would watch basketball there again.

Food was a bit expensive (though we are from Michigan so it may be normal for here). We had fish and chips, shepards pie, turkey-swiss-avocado sandwich, and a BLT. Also some Irish red draft beers. Everything was excellent!! Place is authentic but a bit shabby. Service wasn't bad but not quite 5 star. All in all we will be returning for sure and we're only here a week!

we tried to order at the bar, but we were turned away and told a server would come by the table. an hour went by without a single server coming over, we just hung out with friends and then left. they only care about their regulars. they had plenty of servers, but not one cared to do their jobs.

The food was OK the service was great the music was way to loud and not my taste I couldn't wait to get out got a headache In there was my anniversary but the music ruined it for us

2023 updated: love this place, good beer, good food, good people. It also becomes a club on Saturdays if you like dancing.

Fibbars is always a good bet. Great beer selection in a classic Irish pub atmosphere. I always love the fish and chips for a Friday lunch.

Was a bit quiet today , but it's Sunday. 2 bar staff were perhaps a bit overwhelmed but we're keeping up . Food was as good as it always is. Good selection of beers at fibbrr's but a few were not available which was a shame. Always try to visit when I'm in town.

We have been going to this place for more than 10 years. It's always fun to be there.

Lots of space to dance and to sit or drink. The music was remixes of 2000s songs.

Loved the service. The lady who waited on us was awesome. Heather I think her name was? She was awesome! Both servers we had were great, but loved her attentiveness and friendliness and I just bought a new car or I would have tipped her $30 on top of what my date tipped. She wouldn't let us leave without our salad, she checked on us often and she had a great vibe. We sat at a booth near the middle back and while the atmosphere was beautiful and the drinks were good, the music was almost sleep inducing. Classic rock on a Saturday afternoon I get it, but man would I have preferred actual IRISH music. Give me Gaelich or Celtic music, or any kind of Irish rock and that would have truly given an Irish vibe, perhaps even regular Rock music over Classic rock would have hit the spot.

It's a pub, sooo... noisy, brightly lit, okay for a drink and a loud conversation with a friend. The food is good, simpler dishes a safer bet, service can be inconsistent - they're there every 5 minutes, or not at all.

Update- I have not been here in a few years. Service was terrible. Left after waiting over 10 minutes without being able to order a beer. Such a shame, Not so busy From 2020-Great beer selection, friendly staff. I come to Sunnyvale every other week. This is definitely a good place to spend an evening.

Your quiet, lazy bar, at 5pm lol. I loved it, more whiskey than you could drink and beers too. I even witnessed a black and tan being poured, not bad. I think they served food too and had some prime outdoor seating. I pregamed it here before I went to my main spot, and wasn’t disappointed. You’ll Like it here!

Just got back from Fibbars, my family and I are weekend regulars. The staff rocked as usual, friendly welcoming and quick to take care of you without pushing. The food was good, the potato leek soup is on point today. There was some confusion on previous charges that the manager at the time did not assist with, rudely, however I did clear those up myself later wit the payment processor. The -2 stars is not for the staff or the food.

I really liked the decor with its rustic wooden accents. Service was quick and the staff were jovial. The fish and chips was low-salt and the s’mores chocolate cake seemed flaky. The lemon drop cocktail was seriously good.

Kind of a chill place, mainly good for students coz it has a free entry. They have a small dance floor, overall the place is quite decent, the staff too and drinks are good

Forget this place. I went there with a guest from India who was coming back to the Bay Area after many years and wanted to enjoy the Murphy Street experience all over again. Bad choice picking Fibbar Magees. It was Thursday evening around six and the place was almost full with two empty tables outside. I went in to check and was told by the waitress to grab any open seat. An elderly lady next to her, probably the manager, told me that they were reserved by people who have paid for it and the wait for another table to vacate may be long. As I walked out, I saw a family leaving and went back in to check again with the ‘manager’. She was out right rude and told me they were busy and it may take long to get the tables cleaned, clearly she did not want us as patrons. I opened the door for her to take her drinks outside and instead of saying any polite thanks, she saw my friend sitting on a chair by the recently vacated table and asked him not to sit on her dirty table. My friend has a bad back and was giving it a rest. We had had enough. We walked away to the Lily Mac’s bar nearby, a friendly and warm place staffed by people with very good attitude and manners. Fibbar Magees management should convey it to their employees that they should learn to park their emotions outside the door when they come to work. The same message could have been communicated in a polite manner, everyone here understands the shortage of labor, and we would have walked away without any negative feelings. Customer is number one, especially when you are in the service business. I may only be the tip of the iceberg that takes time to write a review.

Nut allergy friendly. Went on Sunday and had the Irish Stew and the Shepherd's Pie. Good portions for salty but decently flavored bar fare. Drink prices are reasonable (Two pours of Russian River brews were $8-10 each, there are cheaper options). However, service was slow (food came out reasonably quickly, but it took a while for anyone to check on us) and I'm surprised we never got water.

Whiskey Wednesdays 🤯 Great bartenders, great whiskey selection, awesome spot.

good Staff, Nice food and good beer

Eileen was sweet as can be, my stew was incredibly, and the atmosphere so relaxing. We went for a work lunch and had great service. Now I want to go back for dinner/ drinks and take advantage of that long whisky list and outdoor area.
