Food was amazing had the enchiladas and chicken quesadillas. The owner was great. The atmosphere was very family oriented. Definitely going back.

You will find no better Mexican food in the area. Spicy chicken enchiladas are amazing and the carna esada is marinated to perfection. The homemade guacamole is a good app to start with. Federico, the owner is the nicest owner you will ever meet and talk with.

I love Mexican food and was in the area so did a quick google search for “top rated” and this place popped up. The food was really good, fast, and the owner even came over to speak to us.

Tacos bomb! Authentic Mexican food!

If you are looking for Authentic Mexican food- this place IS NOT IT! I ordered quesadillas and my friend ordered some other chicken dish. I got up to go to the bathroom only to look over to the kitchen and see a group of workers un boxing and de skinning and picking about 50 COSTCOS rotisserie CHICKENS! You read that right. I was shocked and appalled. I love a Costco chicken as much as the next person but I was under the very obvious impression that they were actually cooking their own food. My food came it was as expected very bland no seasoning aside from the rotisserie ones and the beef tasted like a pot roast. While we were sitting there they brought groceries in on a cart-large tubs of daisy sour cream- I thought there crema was also authentic. Food aside no one speaks to you or greets you. Very stand off ish. Do yourself a favor save your money ( bill was very high- I could have bought my own 50 costco chickens) This is a shame!!!!!!!!

Great food, different than most.

Lady was nice, but nothing special about the food here, won’t be returning. Taco Love is my go to place now.

Listen, they do not miss. 2-3 times a week I go to get the tacos w/chips and guacamole and I’m satisfied. The only complaint which is minor is sometimes the guac is whipped a little too smooth. However it’s still a 5 star experience. Kerri

Best authentic Mexican food in the Baltimore area! And even that is an understatement. Practically grew up on the food here and the quality and service has never faltered under Don Federico, great atmosphere and great people! Fiesta Mexicana never disappoints and you’re sure to leave having a great meal and even a greater understanding behind the way the food is made and why it’s made as such. Don Federico deserves all the success he’s had in the past recent years and can’t wait to see what else he has in store. Don’t forget to order the “Chori-Queso” as an appetizer, so good! P.S. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! It has been so long since we ate authentic Mexican food, this is it. Everything from the aguas frescas to the tostadas, enfrijoladas, enchiladas, sopes was authentic and transported us to Mexico. The best meal of our entire trip. The owner is very friendly, knowledgeable about the food, and it’s obvious he puts a lot of love into what gets does! Also, there’s a store next to it with Mexican candy and all sorts of things directly from Mexican artisans. Very friendly service, we thoroughly enjoyed shopping there! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

What a gem of a restaurant to discover. The owner was absolutely wonderful and provided terrific service. It was lovely interacting with him and it was so spacious in the booth. Dinner was PHENOMENAL, will definitely be coming here repeatedly.

We walked in as the owner did. We were there for food for a school project. He explained the different types of food, and the best way to reheat it. He was very friendly and the food was amazing. We'll definitely be going back.

Get used to the word authentic. If you don’t speak Spanish you may have a difficult time here. Half food is good and the rest is so so. Torta was overrated and sometimes the owners can be borderline rude. Which is not the end of the world, rude service is almost everywhere these days. I’d recommend the tacos and quesadillas. Guac is really good. But tbh you can get better food without the rudeness and language barrier elsewhere. 6.5/10

Delicious and very good service

So first off when you bring my boss man a little bowl of beans and rife without me asking for it... You're getting a 5 star rating if it's good. And it was. And so we critique the enchiladas in green sauce which are not for the gringos. That green sauce has fire, flame, kick! your tongue heat to it. Fabulous. Will definitely be back. Also don't forget to check out the gift shop next door. Ti's fire too.

This place is like coming home to abuelas, if you had an abuela. It feels like family as soon as you walk in. Came here today for the 3rd time and was blown away by Fredericos ( the owner)hospitality and warmth. He said he travels to Mexico for the mole, and you can tell. The enchiladas literally brought my man to tears. Not an exaggeration. The service, music , food, aqua frescas , and homemade salsas on the table really drive the point home. Get the enchiladas with mole. Trust me on this one.

Frederico is offering up other worldly experiences for that meager cost of a plate of food. I shed tears as I tasted the molè and was catapaulted to childhood memory like the evil food critic from Ratatouille. Today as this hungover, grumpy man ate the food - there was joy. Peace be upon you.

The food is good, but they give bad service there, they only treat Americans and Latinos well and don't even look at them, and they didn't even ask us if everything was okay or anything until the rockers were angry.

The food is amazing. It tastes really good but the server who helped us kept making side eyes at us like we didn’t belong there. She even rolled her eyes at us when she gave us our food as well as rolling her eyes when we were getting ready to pay there. If you decide to go there be warned that the servers aren’t so friendly.

I have been going to Fiesta Mexicana for 10 years. The food is incredible. And I don't say that lightly. I have never had a bad experience here. I have brought soooo many friends with me and not one ever walked away not loving it. The people are kind and food is hands down the best in Maryland. We love it and it's the only place we go for Mexican food. If you have not been here yet- you're making a huge mistake. Go now. Go often.

Authentic, DELICIOUS, mexican food. Served with love. Salsa Verde enchiladas are beyond awesome. Generous portions and always hot. Guacamole is the best I've ever had and made to order for the large portion. Tres Leche cake is really good, not made there but it is a delicious treat. When Mole is available you better get it. Best I have ever tasted. Straight from Michoacán. Friendly service and reasonable prices.

Phenomenal Torta with shredded beef. The beef was extremely tender and juicy! This is the equivalent of a supreme Mexican cheesesteak. Wow!!!

One of the best Mexican meals I have had in Baltimore. Seemed very “authentic.”

We were already sitting ordering and a lady came out of the kitchen and told the waitress to send us back and seat those who were just entering in our mass. It seemed super distasteful to me. I'm not the one who gives bad reviews but this seemed disrespectful to me. This was Sunday December 10, 2023.

Unassuming authentic and fantastic spot. Best tacos I've had outside of CDMX, rice and beans were the only weak part. Staff was friendly to gringos.

I’m from Mexico City, and when I’m homesick this is my place to go for food. I feel like at home especially with my Enchiladas de Mole! The owners are very approachable and the bonus is that they have a nice store with Mexican items next to them. Don’t hesitate to stop by and try them.

This place started small and is building to something great. Frederico is passionate about his food that he serves his customers and makes sure you enjoy everything you try. My son and I stopped by for lunch yesterday at the new location that just moved up the road from where they used to be. The food is still great and reminded me that this is one of the best small shops that really works hard and the quality shows. So good. Thank you so much, and we will be back very soon.

An authentic gem, that i happened to discover only because I was taking my mother to a bullroast up the street at the local fire company. I'm so glad that i stopped here. the food was fantastic. I ordered the combo meal ($35)and i told the [who i think was] owner to prepare it as he wished. He picked the best combination of the menu and i'm so glad i asked him to do that. this place is definitely a great place to go. But if you're just looking for ur basic taco, this may not be for you. This is an authentic place.

Best Tres Leches cake I've ever had in my life. Made me debate on if I want their tres leches for my future wedding. The quesadillas are amazing, love that you can get each one with a different filling. The owner was present, greeted us warmly and had a short very friendly conversation with us. I love that. He loves his restaurant very much and takes pride in it which is shown in the delicious food.

The food is really delicious, but the last time I visited the manager was very rude and impatient. I understand it was busy, but don’t take it out on your customers. I asked for something to be taken off my order (guacamole) and he made a fuss about it because it was “already made.” Actually the order wasn’t ready until 15 mins after they said it would be so he was not being truthful. I asked for an extra salsa (which they have accommodated in the past with no problem). The employee asked him and he had a visible attitude saying it would be .50 cent next time. There won’t be a next time for me. EDIT after reading the very immature response from the owner: "HUH???"

no frills straight forward taqueria. they have a pretty small menu, but what's on that menu is absolutely delicious. And everyone that works there was incredibly nice.

Sadly we were disappointed with our meal. We walked in and had no clue you can walk in and seat yourself. There were a few groups waiting to pay and the host couldn't really see us until it was our turn. We waited for quite some time before our order was taken. We kept an open mind nevertheless. When the meal finally arrived, and it looked good, we discovered that the chicken was very bland in both orders (flautas and quesadilla). Zero flavor. They hardly had any crema or anything else on both orders outside of a handful of lettuce. The side of rice and beans was very salty. We got an order of chips and guacamole which was probably the best part of the meal even if the chips weren't fresh. We also were provided a squeeze bottle of salsa that was probably provided to other customers previously. Ick! And it was very hot (spicy). Not the easiest to use if you wanted to dip a chip in salsa. After waiting forever I got up to ask for a box and the host looked at me and just walked away. It wasn't until I said something that they provided me with a box. We gave a tip anyway because it's not the staff's fault for the many disappointments we experienced. Oh well. Someday we'll find good Mexican food in Maryland! We're hopeful.

The food is delicious and original from Mexico City. The Quesadillas, Tacos, Pambazo, Sopes, Enchiladas, Flautas are our favorites. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because of the waiting time to get our orders. It has been from 30 to 45 mins average but today 9/15/2023 it was over an hour. Other tables were served before ours. Some got their food within minutes. I love to come because I’m from Mexico and the owner used to live where I was and there was a connection. I hope the “preferences” with certain people won’t happen and the waiting time gets better. It will be a while for us to return.

I looove their steak tacos 😋. Definitely recommend them. Sometimes the women are rude and sometimes they're not. The last time I ate there I had to ask who my waiter was because no one assisted me and my toddler and she barely checked on us. Best to get your food to go.

Had the pastor, campechanos and tenga de pollo tacos. I cannot remember ever having better tacos in my life! They have perfect seasoning on the meat, which is very important but goes overlooked often. Very recommended!!!

Honestly the food is fantastic, with some original dishes you won't find anywhere else as well as traditional dishes prepared in original ways, but the service just about cancels that out. The owner is very personable and loves to visit tables and talk food, but unless he is there no one will welcome you or look happy to see you. Drinks are delivered with the food if at all, and not before. In more than a dozen visits I can't recall anyone checking on us during a meal. Husband routinely orders two drinks because he knows he won't get another. He agrees the food is special but says he can't relax and would rather go where he can relax and be waited on, so I think our dinner visits are over, but we'll be compromising with takeout lunches, as I really love the food. Food 5 stars, service 1 = overall 3 stars.

Went in Friday. Waited at the door 5 minutes while never acknowledged. Server was talking with friends at a table. Kitchen staff told us to grab a seat in the back room. As we passed the server she yelled at us and told us to go back to the door. She then sat us in the same room as the cooked told us to use. We waited 10 more minutes with no drinks or order taken. Finally the server came back into the room to seat another family. Again she failed to recognize us, the only other people in the room. My wife asked if we had someone assigned to our table and the girl ignored her, and walk away. So we left and went down the road to another restaurant.

I found the food delicious, although im not sure what I ordered is what I got. I ordered 3 pablano and cheese quesadillas, but what I got was deep-fried and more like 3 empanadas. Additionally, the seating were boothes and more like a carryout than a restaurant, if that is what you seek.Service was adequate but the waitress had limited English, and when the bill came and we used a card, they charged us and did not include a tip. I saw no sign anywhere ordering and was left without warning (and cash) and had to stiff the waitress. I felt terrible. She seemed unconcerned. It was unsettling to leave under those circumstances. And I felt like I had been set up. Maybe they make their dishes differently--Im not Mexican, but I've never had a quesadilla like that at several Mexican restaurants. I certainly could be wrong, but I suspected that my order had been swapped to use up surplus inventory. I hope someone can prove otherwise because what I ate was delicious, but my suspicions persist.

Fiesta Mexicana is a very good Mexican restaurant. We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday, and not only was the service prompt, but the food was ready quickly as well. My wife and I split an order of enchiladas, which they were kind enough to bring on two plates as though it were two dishes. They were excellent. The guacamole we ordered to start was quickly devoured. The flan is very nice. The owner is passionate about the food he sells. If I lived closer to this restaurant we would be going a lot more often.

I have only eaten in once, but have gotten carry out 6-7 times. I love the sopes, the nachos, the tacos, and the enchiladas. The prices are fair and the portions are generous.

A little bit torn on this place. The owner is very friendly and welcoming and kind. The food was OK, flavorful, but they tend to overdo on the hot sauce. Use the spice to season, not to drown out the flavors. I don’t know if it was just we were there late on a Sunday night, but the waitress didn’t seem to want to have anything to do with us. Just letting us know to check out at the register instead of understanding, they don’t bring the check to the table, would’ve saved us about 20 minutes. I’m torn on whether or not I would visit here again. Kind owner, but if the weight staff doesn’t really want to be there, I don’t know why they are.

This was a most wonderful experience that I cannot believe I have missed out on from all my time living in the area. The service was incredible as the owner would check in on us for each course and give some explanation of how he made the dish. You could tell he is very passionate about the food and the culture. Everything we had was absolutely wonderful, from the guacamole to even their coffee. I will most certainly be returning!

La comida es buena... (Nada espectacular)!! La atención es pésima, la mala actitud de las meseras son producto de la vulgar forma de actuar del propietario, se demoran demasiado para servirte, no te sirven la comida con las especificaciones que diste, el dueño pierde la cabeza y se le escucha las vulgaridades que habla desde la cocina, la forma de tratar al cliente es de baja calidad que obviamente obedece a la baja autoestima del dueño y de las meseras....

I came here for carry out and got the beef quesadilla. It's was very tasty and satisfying. For me, being non Spanish speaking and unfamiliar with Mexican food, it was an adventure. I loved looking at the artful and colorful decorations while waiting for my order. If the shop next door had been open, I might have busted my budget while shopping. Reading the menu had me planning my next meal even before eating my current one. There was ample parking and the restaurant was wheel chair accessible. Overall, everyone was very patient and pleasant. It was a carry out order. You shlump in, pay, and slump out. I never thought I would have a little fun.

Si pudiera no le diera ni una estrella, nunca en mi vida en un restaurante me habían tratado mal como el dueño de ese restaurante lo hizo conmigo y mi familia hize una reservación , para celebrar el cumpleaños sorpresa de mi hermana y solo por tirar unos confetis el señor mal educado llego a gritarnos a mi familia y a mi, me sentí fatal y espero que ese señor pueda leer este comentario tanto el cómo su esposa fueron mal educados y si en su familia no le enseñaron educación pidan ayuda o simplemente no tengan negocio porque yo no iba a pedir yo iba a pagar por todo el total que podía gastar , ojalá que poco a poco se terminen los clientes en ese lugar por el comportamiento tan horrible que tienen.
