Ok at very best. Wildly overpriced for the quality and taste. It’s not bad, it’s just not particularly good.

Friendly and prompt service with EXCELLENT food! The selection of various foods and drinks is extensive and is vegetarian friendly. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The seating is cramped but the food and service make up for it.

Very hip establishment with a cool ambiance but the food is seriously lacking in freshness and flavor. We got the fries (mediocre and soggy), oysters (so not fresh! We had to request the waiter swap one of them out because it was a gooey mess of flesh…also the one I had was super fishy and almost bitter); calamari (only decent dish), escargot (okay), and tuna tartare (extremely flavorless and fishy). Would come back here for drinks instead of food next time!

I came here for a late dinner and had the best time. I was transported back to Paris. The food is some of the best I've had and we had the best server (Anna Maria) who recommended everything we had to try. She really made our night and I can't thank her enough! I had Escargots, rack of ribs, and the sea bass - all really good. If you have a sweet tooth, make sure you to get dessert :)

Had a solid brunch here today - to start, the Hazelnut latte with a couple of macarons was nice. French toast was lovely, eggs were soft and fluffy and bacon was crispy… garlic truffle fries were tasty/crispy - very strong, raw garlic pieces on the fries… service was friendly and attentive. Lovely day to sit outside. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere is very pleasant and the menu is very extensive. The salmon tartare was very good and the sides (salad in this case) were abundant. We also ordered battered calamari and a spinach quiche that was very tasty. If you want a healthier and unprocessed meal, this place is more than recommended. The prices are high, but I think that's typical in LA if you don't want fast food.

I went for date night and had such a LOVELY TIME. The staff is incredible and very attentive, the environment made me feel like I was in Europe enjoying a meal at my leisure. We got a few items and shared them; you can totally share everything if that is of interest to you. They also had a good selection of wine as well as great cocktails. I highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

This is obviously a very hip, sought after dining location as it was busy on a Friday evening. The host was very kind. When I sat I wasn’t given water. I also wasn’t seen by a server for 40 minutes. When I was she was rude and told me she was doing last call - it was 8 pm- she was referring to happy hour but didn’t make that clear. I again asked for water, wine, oysters as an appetizer and a steak for dinner. The oysters came at the same time as the steak- 40 minutes later- still no water. I ate one oyster and it was clearly bad- I could barely eat it- I tried a second one to make sure and had to spit it in my napkin. I never return things or complain at all. When I asked to return the oysters and have them removed from the bill - the waitress said she could not remove them even when I explained that they were clearly bad. I asked for a manager and she said she was the manager. I also mentioned I still had no water - even after my complaint - still no water. And she refused to remove the oysters from my bill. After eating the mediocre steak, because I was incredibly hungry, I asked for my wine and the very least to be removed from my bill. She said she also could not do that. She did finally bring me my water just as I was finishing my steak. She didn’t offer to give me an additional drink on the house, or anything. And right before she brought me my bill, she dropped a cup of ketchup on the ground, which splashed all over me- which i understand is a mistake, but, even at that point, she did not offered to do anything for me. I’ll just say this, I’ve worked in my entire life, and I’ve never had such a horrible dining experience from a place that is obviously a “place to go” in Los Angeles. No matter where a restaurant is, service like this is unacceptable. Especially when you’re paying a premium price. So- the bistro is vibey, and a very “LA scene”, yes. But if you want decent food or decent service – or water with your meal – try a taco truck.

It's such a shame that a restaurant with such high quality food and a gorgeous atmosphere is plagued by such incompetent, arrogant, rude, and outright malicious staff. I went here for a late dinner with my friends tonight, and had the displeasure of being served by this waiter who was giving us a lot of attitude and mean looks right from the beginning in addition to making a snippy comment along the lines of "are you going to order something?" despite the fact we had just arrived. A few of my friends noticed too, but we kept it to ourselves as we know everyone can have a bad day. However, when it came time to order, our waiter neglected to write down our order because "(he'd) been there awhile." My friends are all pretty good natured and made a couple jokes but ultimately did not care. I ordered fried shrimp as an appetizer and their house pasta. My friend ordered the veggie pasta with no tomatoes. Instead of what I had ordered, I was given the pasta with five regular shrimp in my pasta and a 5 minute speech about how "actually our happy hour fryer is turned off so I couldn't make this for you - which despite 'working here for awhile' I didnt know because I don't work here at night so we had to do this." Which is honestly a WILD decision to make without talking to the customer first (probs would've just not gotten shrimp at all) but again: I didn't care. HOWEVER, my friend who had ordered no tomatoes in her pasta because she has something called complex mastocytosis activation that causes her to get very sick bc of select fruits, did in fact have an allergic reaction to the tomatoes that were still in her dish. She calmly gets up to take a bendryl and politely AND privately tell the waiter that she had an allergic reaction and was instead BRUTALLY reprimanded by the waiter who INSISTED he remembered and that it was the kitchen's fault and that she should've specified that she had an allergy (it's the waiter's job to clarify btw) and when my friend made a comment about how that sounded victim blame-y he rolled his eyes and made a sexist comment. Then the manager overhears and instead of solving the issue, JUMPS ON BOARD with the waiter and starts telling my friend she needed to "protect herself!!!" So my friend, obviously frustrated, mentions that it wasn't the first mistake he had made with our meal in reference to my situation and the waiter backs off but not even an apology was given. Finally the bill comes out, and not only am I paying extra for the shrimp I did not order but my friend is paying for the pasta with tomatoes!!!!! It took a separate friend to go and demand it being removed from the bill for it to happen despite them telling us "actually we were planning on doing that!" (im still paying extra for shrimp i didnt order btw). Finally, the revised bill is given to us and instead of apologizing the manager has to undermine us once again by INSISTING that it was just red pepper and the allergic reaction came from food contamination as if that makes it any better!!!! My friend was deeply sick for the rest of the night and it was YOUR FAULT! Without a doubt the worst service I've ever received in my whole life. That waiter should NEVER work a front-facing role ever again. Genuinely horrid, mean-spirited behavior. Until people like that no longer work there, you're better off ordering takeout from them (or having a pack of benedryl and a xanax on hand to tolerate your dining experience)

Like a great many Parisian cafes you can sit out front and people watch! This part of town is great for that. I had a Nutella crepe with strawberries on it! Tasty! Besides that I had two great lattes. I tried the spinach quiche and it was ok. I’m not sure it had the best consistency. It was oozy. It was tasty regardless. The $5 dollar bread basket is perfect! Great ambiance, servers are nice and friendly. I usually have a good time here but today the duck leg I ordered was absolutely terrible. It really dampened my mood. It cost $31 and tasted rubbish, felt like left over meat that was heated and served, so don't ever order duck leg from this place, you've been warned! oh, also the beef filet mignon, not their best.

Food in Figaro is great, but they ruined our Valentines day. We reserved a table, came to eat our favorite food from the menu, but instead of normal menu they gave us a paper with 15 dishes that cost more than they usually cost during the happy hours and they said that regular menu is not working today….it wasn’t really great, because i came to eat at least onion soup, but they didn’t had even that on the valentines day menu, that was a huge disappointment for us so we left and spent another hour searching another available place for today. My suggestion, at least if you’re making changes like that during the holidays, when the customer is calling to reserve a table, you can tell them about this changes in the menu, so they won’t spend their time if it is not suitable for them.

Figaro Bistrot was nostalgic of my time in France. I am near fluent in French and I spent about half a year living in Strasbourg, France. The outdoor seating down to the types of chairs and tables was exactly the kind that I used to take my lunch coffees at and walk by down the streets everyday. Even the menu that they handed me was formatted exactly as the cafés in Strasbourg and in Paris. Come here, grab a croissant and a coffee for breakfast, take your time, and watch the people whose lives pass by as you take a moment to feel human. That is the beauty of french culture and that is what you will experience at Figaro Bistrot if you allow yourself to be free from the stress of life. The indoor is just as French as the warm and artsy interior reminded me of some of the bouillons I dined at in Paris. The one critique I have is that the indoor chairs were a little bit uncomfortable to dine in. They're lovely for some drinks and entrées, but difficult to eat a big meal in. As for the food, I visited Figaro Bistrot on Christmas Day which featured a special holiday menu. We ordered steak tartare, salad niçoise, lamb chops, branzino, and beef Wellington. The portions were very generous for each dish but I have to say that the main dishes seriously impressed. Never have I had lamb chops so tender and with such depth of flavor. The branzino was so fresh and I loved the red wine sauce on the beef Wellington. If you are a REAL foodie and I mean someone who truly values the experience of having a meal and not just posting Instagram worthy food, give Figaro Bistrot a visit.

So disappointed in this popular venue! Do not order any salad with the general salad mix. There will be rotted red lettuce to disgust you upon close examination. I don’t know why restaurants use this type of salad mix in which the red lettuce has a vanishingly short shelf life. When I pointed out the disgusting blackened goo laced throughout my salad, no accommodation was afforded beyond a muted apology and an “eat it or leave” look.

We sat inside and it had a very SF feel to me. I do have a pet peev about being seated close to other people when there was another area open. Also there was a restaurant business meeting going on next to us. Too close. My mother's hamburger was great. She shared it with me after she completely loved her French onion soup. I ordered the steak tartar. It was just ok. I didn't eat it because the crostinis were hard. Our French fries were over done and filled the plate. Tasted like precooked and dropped again. Disappointing. The menu is nice. Perhaps next time I'll try the quiche or crab cakes.

Amazing European restaurant/ cafe. A real one. Not "paris wanna be" style. Food was good, drinks good, they have Belgian beer which is really nice. Friendly and nice staff.

Cute little place to get your Sunday breakfast. I tried the omelette with salmon and tarragon. The portion is big enough to fill you up, because it comes with potatoes and salad. The vibes inside are great. I would’ve eaten outside if it wasn’t windy. I side it was fun too they have great production design and decor items that put you in a relaxed mood.

Figaro is a classically styled French restaurant with the corresponding food that you would expect. Cooked to a high standard and served by very knowledgeable and efficient staff ( Marianne) who helped with suggestions for suitable wine with each course. Making the whole dining experience more enjoyable. I would highly recommend dining at 'Figaro '.

I had the most delightful experience at Figaro Bistro in Los Feliz. The ambiance is simply amazing, transporting me to the charming streets of Paris and Italy. The vintage bar added a touch of nostalgia that I absolutely loved. I decided to try the Steak Salad, and it was a flavor-packed delight. The meat was impeccably seasoned, showcasing the chef's skillful touch. Our server was truly exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. She shared that her journey from West Covina was worthwhile to witness happy customers, and her dedication truly showed in her service. To top off our brunch, my Mom and I savored a Croissant that was nothing short of perfection. Soft and irresistibly delicious, it was a fitting end to a wonderful meal. Figaro Bistro has won my heart with its incredible ambiance, delectable dishes, and outstanding service. A must-visit for anyone seeking a Parisian-Italian escape right in Los Feliz!

Lovely place and lovely staff but got food poisoning from the mussels… we were a bit disappointed when they arrived as they were dry and small. Then ended up with a very bad stomach bug for the next few hours

i had french toast and a coffee and it was super delicious, but after i finished eating and they took my plate, nobody came to the table to give me my check for like 30 minutes. i got up and asked if i should pay up front, but was told they would bring my check-- ten minutes later, i had to flag somebody down to finally get the bill and pay so i could leave. normally, i don't mind slow service during a rush, but the restaurant wasn't busy at all, so i was a little annoyed about being ignored/forgotten about.
