Great instructions for successful axe throwing. Food was ok... Service was terrific!! Such a fun activity.

Had such a great time! The staff were incredibly helpful and so kind. The throwing was super fun and straightforward, even with a tweaked shoulder I was still able to have a good time. Would highly recommend as a fun family activity for all ages.

Had a wonderful time! Fun and relaxing atmosphere. I had a pork panini and my husband had the cubano panini, they were very tasty. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. It was our first time and will definitely be back.

It's a little small and some of it group didn't have a place to sit and eat, but the food was great and it's a fun place! They have some cute little games you can play that involve throwing the axes so that you have something more to do than just throw them.

Phenomenal!!! We thought this place was just a firehouse-turned-pub place and came in for the atmosphere...totally surprised! They throw real AXES here! And the BBQ panini and margaritas are to die for! Sammi was our server, highly recommend!!!! Ian was a good instructor too, turned beginners into axe throwers right before our eyes!! Good food, friendly, good times!

We had so much fun here! No one in our group had thrown axes before, and our coach got us comfortable quickly. We did the projection lane and really enjoyed using the different game options. The drinks were great too, and the staff was attentive with taking additional orders while we were throwing. This is really a gem in Vancouver. I can’t wait to come back again!

We had gone here for a small birthday party and we're glad to have chosen this spot for it! Between the ax throwing itself and the games you can play, Luke, Ian, and Jared are all super friendly and offer a great time and customer service!

SO FUN!! Great food, drinks and beer were great, but axe throwing really spices up lunch!! My new favorite place!! The parking lot is small, but it's right by safeway so there's plenty available.

There was some drunk lady, who was apparently an employee, but off the clock yelling and getting into customers faces. It was wildly inappropriate and shocking that it was tolerated. Made for a total buzzkill for the atmosphere. Otherwise a pretty cool place. Update 4/18 When I wrote this, I received a response (below) quickly. But the response appears to be empty, as I emailed them (as requested) and received no reply. Not even a thank-you-for-emailing auto reply. Guess their follow through is limited.

Great first experience at FHAX. Sammi was very helpful in explaining all the safety rules and giving throwing tips during practice. Totchos, pretzel bites, and caprese flat bread were delish.

My husband and I were on a date there. We booked ace throwing for an hour. The staff on shift, Sammi and Nadia, were very thorough and attentive explaining the process to us. We hadn’t ever axe thrown before. The games they have to offer were very fun and kept us engaged for our entire hour. They also were able to make us mocktails since we weren’t drinking alcohol. Overall it was a fun time and we will definitely be returning again in the future!!

Sammi, Taymahn, and Johnny were really cool. They gave a lot of good advice on throwing the axes. Jared was at the bar and always readily available. This is a fun spot to hang out. It is small but not too small. The other patrons are nice and in a good mood. Why not? You get to practice throwing axes! The beer menu is smaller than their selection of hard spirits. It is definitely worth coming in once in mine honest, because I will definitely be back. I didn't habe any food so i'm sorry I can't review that yet. The paninis sound amazing. They provide aardvark sauce. That's important.

We had a great time. I've been wanting to Ax Throw for years and had no idea really what to expect. My husband booked it for a date night and it was way more fun than I expected. An hour flew by! Sammi was an amazing throwing coach and helped us have the best time. We'll definitely be back and be bringing handfuls of friends!

Definitely lots of fun, especially with a group. We got two lanes, so going back and forth, we definitely got our moneys worth. I appreciated the safety briefing beforehand, which was done very thoroughly. The bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. I’ll definitely come back.

Great food, LOTS of fun, but the axe throwing is not cheap. Wish I could afford to go more often. Food is priced well, but to just go for the food and drink seems awkward without doing the axe throwing. $30/hr per person just for the throwing, then another $20-$30 for food and drinks adds up quick. Fun place though. Worth going at least once.

The coach is great and knowledgeable. Super helpful and friendly. Good selection of food and drinks. Nice location for family or even team building.

Our party, came in pretty late in the evening so we didn't get any food but it was a blast, the staff was helpful and had some great conversation after we finished. The whole establishment was very clean and the took glasses promptly. Taymahn, was our instructor/ server and he was very friendly and clear with his directions concerning the Ax throwing. Will definitely Come again.

Sooo.... our server was great! She was super helpful and was incredibly knowledgeable regarding the Axe throwing and instructions. She was very patient and took her time for us newbies lol. The food was great and full of flavor, definitely recommending the flat bread and the brat. The only thing I didn't care for were the stalls and the lack of privacy. It was a little difficult to have a one on one conversation there. Other than that the place was cute and staff was great!
