My family thought this spot was pretty great. The loaded fries were everyone’s favorite food and it was nice to enjoy a cold beer in this summer heat. The service was great and it was pretty quick

The reviews I read before eating here were spot on. Their food is pretty dry. I had the Cuban sandwich and I’ve never in my life had a dry Cuban but somehow they managed to do it. BUT the service here is amazing. The staff is awesome, fast and nice. One lady I interacted with (I did not catch her name) seemed to truly love what she did there. Her happiness was contagious. It made up for the sandwich. There’s also peacocks everywhere, they were literally walking up to our table and seemed to beg for food! You can tell they’re used to strangers feeding them, but they didn’t try anything beyond that. It was actually pretty awesome. We loved the outdoor seating. This place is the last stop on the old town trolley tours and if you don’t mind slathering your food in sauces it’s a nice vibe. Go for the people and the environment!

I really want to give it five stars all around, however they didn’t have a citrus barbecue sauce like shorties in Miami. Kudos to the chef who gave me burnt ends in my sandwich. Normally they just put it in the beans. Thank you, Jesus for all the peacocks they were entertaining.

The portions are fairly large, and the prices are very reasonable. My brisket sandwich was $13, and the brisket I got was huge. It didn’t have a strong flavor, and I had to douse it in barbecue sauce to taste it. It was still 5 stars because of how much brisket I got.

Worst BBQ I’ve ever had. Brisket was difficult to even bite. The ribs seemed like they were boiled and just had an odd jelly like texture to them. The coleslaw tasted like unseasoned grass, the ONLY thing that was ok was the baked beans. I’m honestly surprised this place has the star rating that it does.

BBQ is very good! It is just before going through the foundation of youth. You had umbrella covered picnic tables to sit at while peacocks serenaded you. 💗

Delicious Southern BBQ.. a must have when visiting St Augustine.. Taylor the cashier took our order and was so helpful in deciding on what we wanted.. The beef brisket is to die for.And the Smoked Ribs fall off the bone.

Stopped here waiting for the rain to stop. Decided to get some drinks & a snack while waiting. Ordered corn nuggets and perni hazy ipa. Nuggets are 10/10 would definitely order again. 😋

Back home and STILL thinking about how good their sandwiches are! And despite what other comments say, they do the smoking right there. We were visiting the ponce de Leon Park with our dog who wasn't getting along with all the peacocks so we had to cut our visit short but not before grabbing a couple of their sandwiches. It was all worth it, just to get their food:))

Being this was at a tourist destination, I expected the pricing to be quite high for a barbecue rib platter at a price of less than $15 including a drink. I didn’t know what to expect. Wow what a pleasant surprise it was generous portions of barbecue ribs, baked beans, coleslaw, and butter fried bread. Atmosphere was wonderful. There were peacocks walking about in a park like setting. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone just for the food alone. However, basic setting, and Peacock made it really special.

This place is a gem!!!!!! The BBQ and the service were excellent!! Our group of 40 plus people ate hear and there was not one complaint! Everyone had great things to say about the food and service. It is a wonderful outside restaurant to have a meal!!

The bbq was fantastic and we really enjoyed it. Generous portion sizes and really decent prices for bbq.. yet alone a tourist destination. The pork ribs platter was amazing. Slaw was great and the pickled onion were delicious. The only thing that could have been better were the beans. Tasted like out of a can and nothing done further to enhance them. Overall highly recommend

Delicious food. Fresh! Tasty! Prices a tad high but likely because it’s located at a tourist attraction. I’m not a tourist as I live near but enjoy this place. Who wouldn’t want to have lunch with peacocks? Outdoor dining only. Would recommend.

Sarah, the manager/ owner lacked customer service skills and way of speaking to guests. Feedback was expressed that Sangria was overly sweet and Sarah gave the rudest attitude and yelled "NO returns on Alcohol" Either burnt out or angry with life, should not bring that energy to work.

Only had ice creams and they were very nice, but took about ten minutes to serve even though there was no one in front of us in the line!

It was only ok, took a while to get our food once we ordered from the window.

It's another BBQ spot you can try. Hot dogs are all beef and about a foot long. Enjoy!

Must visit week days or Sundays to avoid crowds. Top shelf bar b q. Great beautiful outdoor setting, bring a book to read after dining or get take out to go. Bathrooms are available .

Good customer service. Food was pretty good but for some reason the macaroni and cheese had a soapy taste to it. As if the pan it was cooked in still had soap in it. The atmosphere was nice. Beautiful roaming peacocks

Kleiner Grill mit soweit ordentlichem unkompliziertem Essen. Mein Brisket war erstaunlich fein, teilweise aber ziemlich trocken, der dazugehoerende Coleslaw cremig, die beans aber leider recht suess. Ein kleines Highlight sind die gezapften Biere.

The bbq sandwich was good but the fries were cold and service was ok.

The food here was very good, we got fried pickles, a chicken house salad, a burger, pulled pork sandwich, a kids meal and a Caesar wrap. The portions of everything are pretty big and the salad was giant. I really enjoyed the salad and everyone enjoyed their food too. Pickles are very tasty.

I try to come out to St. Augustine at least once a year. Every time I go to FOY park I ALWAYS eat here. Food is not only in a convenient location but it’s of great quality and taste. If you like BBQ you have to come here, even if you do not go in FOY. WiFi was down during our visit and we initially did not make a purchase, however Amanda (General manager) flagged us down as were getting ready to leave, putting the boys in the car and offered to comp our meal. Naturally and respectfully declined her offer as I did not expect anything for free, however her customer service brought me back in and we were able to purchase food. I greatly appreciated your offer and customer service. Our babies loved the food. Thank you again. See you next year.

Me and my wife enjoy the food here it was good. Would eat here again. The tables were cover with bird poop and had dogs walking on them. They have peacocks on the ground. But I would not let that stop you. Lovely place. Just get extra napkins to put down. Ice cream and tea good too.

Not a buffet wedding fan, but bbq turkey was very good.

Brisket and fries were amazing. Happy hour is highly recommended.

My favorite place to eat in the town! Not only the staff and service is amazing but also the food. Amazing pulled pork and the best chicken wings. They got a new smoker what makes it way more delicious. If you never went there before now is the time. Thank me later =D

*You do NOT need to enter the Fountain of Youth to go here. It is to the left of the Fountain of Youth entrance. They share the parking lot with the Fountain of Youth. Very pleasant and shady seating area. Pet friendly for your well behaved dog. Go to the counter to order, they'll give you a gadget that vibrates and blinks when your food is ready. We both ordered the 1/2 lb burgers. They were ok, not great. You could tell they were frozen and they were cooked well done, despite my request for medium. I will be back because people near us ordered bbq and it looked amazing! Go figure, order BBQ when you are at a BBQ restaurant. Lesson learned. We went on a Wednesday at noon. Not too crowded at all and we easily got a table. Peacocks roam the grounds here. Kinda cool :-) Edit* We came back! Being low carb conscious, I ordered the Caeser salad, no croutons, add Pulled Pork. Adam ordered the Club Sandwich. The Caesar was very, very good! The pulled pork was tender and moist with a smokey flavor. Delish! They add pickled red onion to the salad, and it was a perfect accompaniment! Paired very well with the pork. I would def order this again! Bonus that it's Keto friendly. The Club sandwich was served on freshly baked bread, and looked amazing! Adam said it tasted amazing too! Overall, a lovely spot for a late lunch. It was 2pm on a Tuesday when we arrived, and there were plenty of empty tables to choose from. For me, the chairs were comfortable for my back. We rode our bikes here with our little dogs. Watching (and listening to) the peacocks that roam the area is always entertaining.

The food was okay at best. I really didn't think of was $70 worth. Staff was friendly. My recommendation is to have two windows, one pick up and one to order.

Should definitely eat here when you visit the Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth park. Delicious food!!

We were riding the trolley and couldn't decide where to go for lunch before we went to an attraction. When the trolley pulled up to the Fountain of Youth, we saw there was a BBQ place out front and figured we could kill two birds with one stone. It turned out to be a great decision. It was a lovely day to have lunch at the tables outside. The platter was plentiful, with pulled pork, beans, coleslaw, and toast. Everything was well prepared and tasted great. It turned our spontaneous stop into a great time.

It was the last day of 2022 and a 30 minute wait but it was worth it! I ordered the beef brisket platter that came with cole slaw, baked beans and garlic toast. I asked for take out. No inside dining here, only outside. Smoked sits at the entrance to the Fountain of Youth attraction. Spring, Summer or Fall would've been a nicer day to stay. Happy New Year!

We honestly loved the food! The brisket burger and fries were better than most restaurants we've eaten at. Only downside was no BBQ sauce. The brisket was perfectly cooked, seasoned and tender.... exactly like the top of a slow cooked rack of ribs! The fries were phenomenal as well. A+

Me and my girlfriend are new to the area , so we had to try some BBQ and this place smoked southern BBQ has the best! I got the pulled pork sandwich with the fries and my girlfriend got the mac and cheese. Let's start with the Mac and cheese, it was very very creamy and it had the best amount of cheesy goodness. You can taste the smokiness in the mac which is amazing. Now for the sandwich and fries . The pork was cooked to perfection and let me tell you when they tell you they smoke it for 18 hours you can definitely tell, it has the best smoked flavor I have ever had you can taste the rub they use. I must also add that it was not dry . And last but not least the fries , well let's just say the are huge and you get a good portion . They where very crispy and hot , and you can taste the seasoning on the fries they are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would recommend this to anyone new or looking for some great BBQ. Thank you and you will definitely see us again

Outstanding pulled pork sandwiches!! Absolutely delicious!! The staff members we friendly and fast. We really enjoyed the entire meal. Fries are the best!! Sweet tea was on point. Wish I could have a plate delivered to Moultrie, GA. The BBQ sauce is very tasty with just a bite of heat. They serve a variety of foods, drinks, and snacks. A great place to grab lunch or a cool treat while exploring The Fountain of Youth. Dining area outside but nicely shaded by the trees. Drive or take a trolley. Just don't skip out on visiting while experiencing St. Augustine.

RIBS ARE WACK! NOT PULLED OFF BONE!! Complained about the ribs being so tough he said they got a new set of ribs and don't know how to cook them! THEN DONT PUT THEM ON THE MENU?!?! Didn't offer a refund. Try to give some to my dog and she already knew they weren't my ribs and rolled her eyes . Brisket and Chicken Fingers and the Fountain soda was better.

Nice spot for lunch during your Hop-On/Off Trolley Tour. Service can be slow, especially when the trolley stops. When we were there, there was just one lady taking orders and making drinks. She was a little too friendly and chatty. They could really use at least two people upfront. The food was well prepared and generous. The seating area is nice and shaded. The peacocks roaming around were a nice surprise.

Surprisingly excellent. We assumed it was a tourist snack bar and were very pleasantly surprised. Worth coming to even if you are not going to Fountain of Youth.

Burnt (Charcoal like) food..... Bad customer service...... Ribs had a cartilage in it that was 1/2 thick into a tapered end, old lady cooking actually pressed and cooked a wrap with ranch dressing on it. Emailed the Manager 3 days ago and still no answer or response. Over priced for not even "Fair Food" quality.....

Simple counter service. Eat outside at picnic tables under umbrellas or shade of trees. One free refill of soft drinks, tea. Peacocks wandering around and calling. On a May Sunday afternoon we had no problem parking. Had the brisket platter. If you go to the Foundation of Youth Park that shares the parking lot be advised that there is an admission fee. Trolley tour stops in parking lot.

Even if you don't plan to see the Fountain of Youth park, your trip to Saint Augustine should absolutely include this Barbecue spot! The food was delicious. We had the Rib platter and the Brisket sandwich plate. Both were delicious, the Cole slaw was delicious. Both orders came with a lot of food, well worth the price.

Huge disappointment! Their BBQ sauce is "ketchup based" which tasted like ketchup and Heinz 57. The food was warm at best and I question how safe it actually was. We ordered 3 meals and received 2 sets of utensils. To top off the experience, the staff was extremely rude. I strongly suggest to choose another local establishment

Upon approaching the counter , I greeted the gentleman that was working and he just stared at me .....I asked again how r u? And he gave me a blank stare as to hurry up and order ....after placing my order he slammed the alerter on the counter . I wanted to cancel my order and leave but my daughter was starving. Food was less than ok the service was poor.

Found the place by accident and I couldn't have been happier, the wings were meaty and full of good smoky flavor. Make sure you try the baked beans and coleslaw.

We ate at Smoked two years ago on our first winter to Florida. We couldn’t wait to go back so that’s exactly where we went for lunch today. We had the crab cake appetizer and a brisket sandwich. Everything was as delicious as we remembered it especially their house bbq sauce. So happy they are still there and producing the same tasty food!

It's a must try. I must say this place was not only nice but the food was 😋 delicious! We had the burgers, ribs, fries, beans, and Sangria. MUST TRY THEIR FRIES! Everything was very yummy. Great and fast service. One of my favorite places to eat at St. Augustin now. Definitely going back.

Pulled Pork was good but not great. Surface area had great flavor but inside was kind of bland. BBQ sauce was better than store bought but could use some more spice. Bun was soggy. Fries were fantastic. Overall: Not the best I've ever had but a solid 7/10.

Such a perfect compliment to the Fountain of Youth park. Delicious BBQ. Even the fries are top of their class. Try them with some ranch! This is a place you should not miss when you are in town.

I ate there for lunch today; really disappointed. First, it was kind of pricey. Second, the brisket wasn't very good. It was fatty; the smoke really hadn't gotten through to the meat very well (no ring.) Also, the brisket didn't seem to have cooked long enough. The one redeeming factor was the fries; they were really good: hot, fresh and crispy. Service was really good and friendly. I just really expected better brisket from a place called "Smoked."

Really not that bad. Went to the fountain of youth and was hungry so I was gonna eat after leaving but seen this place and stopped by. It was early so no line. Prices are a little high for the food because it is just basic food, not exactly BBQ. But take the BBQ name away then its what you get. Corn nuggets was good, fries are good, chicken a little dry and BBQ sauce wasn't the best so it's eat dry chicken. Baked beans was actually pretty good. So it's really just a convenient spot to eat if you're hungry and didn't expect there to be a spot to eat at. Wasn't the best, wasn't the worst.

I'm a Florida transplant from Kansas City, so I've been raised on good BBQ. I was there on a busy Saturday. The line moved pretty quick and you are handed a pager with every order. I thought the BBQ sauce wasn't that great and was glad it was served on the side. Baked beans were basically cooked beans from a can. We had the brisket dinner and sandwich. The brisket came out in a large chunk for the dinner and on the sandwich. This is the first time I've ever had brisket this way. I expected sliced brisket. It made it tough to eat with plasticware. I did enjoy the taste of the brisket, although the bark was a bit heavy on pepper. Overall for Florida and St. Augustine this is better than most nearby. We also thought the pricing was a bit high for a picnic table atmosphere.
