Seriously good! Super friendly staff and owners. Dining is limited and snug but totally worth it.

We visited Flavors of India for the first time and we will definitely be back! We ordered the Chef’s Special Chicken, Tikka Masala, and garlic naan. Our meal was delicious and the service was top notch. I highly recommend!

Flavors of India is my first experience with Indian cuisine and I must say it's totally changed my life! Delicious, authentic, humble, and fairly priced food with bold flavor. If that sounds good to you give them a try!

Food and Service were wonderful. I was blown away by how good the chicken makhani and naan were. Will definitely be coming back!

Ordered take out and it was amazing! Small seating area inside, lots of outdoor tables would be great for cooler months! Food was amazing! We ordered vegetable samosas, Daal Makhani, Chicken Makhani, Onion Bhaji, rice and Garlic Naan. It all tasted delicious. The samosas were my favorite!

Jenny is the sweetest and takes great care of my husband and me when we come in! My bonus son loves coming with us too!

Service was good! Lamb vindaloo was excellent! Tasted wonderful. I also got rice and naan. That was enough to feed me three times. The first meal did send me straight to the restroom and I am not sure why, being brave and eating it again it did not so, could just be a one off thing!

We did a pick up order and WOW! The food was absolutely delicious. We love Indian food and have tried numerous restaurants around the Phoenix area- I think this is now our favorite spot!

I ordered online and wanted to have good Biryani. These stupid guys made biryani with big chunks of uncooked onion slices and green pepper. GREEN PEPPER....who puts that in biryani...worst biryani I ever had. Do not take food from these guys. In addition the lady who took the phone had so much attitude.. No go...not authentic Indian food. Bad experience. Adding after I see reply from the restaurant below : You are not authentic at all, food was disgrace for being north, south, or any part of India. You spoiled my evening so you got called a name.

Best Indian food in Gilbert. I was lucky enough to go to India this year and they are absolutely as good as the food I ate in the country.

Our go to Indian place. I’ve tried quite a few places but none match the flavor of the food and the kind service you get here. True definition of small mom and pop spot that is worth every penny. Try the chicken mahkani with rice, garlic naan, and mango lassi. Chefs kiss, can’t go wrong.

I have eaten here a a few times now and have always had a pleasant experience. The owners have been very kind and the food has been really good. Would definitely recommend! Do plan ahead as seating is limited. We usually get the chicken tikka masala, aloo gobi and the garlic naan.

The restaurant is a very small space. It’s only a few tables. But it smells delicious and the food tastes even better. So glad we found this Indian restaurant. it would be wonderful if they open an Indian café in Santan Valley

Great food, amazing service. I had the Lamb curry and it was the best lamb dish I've had from any place in Arizona. Also highly recommend the garlic naan.

Best Indian Food in the East Valley

Absolutely the best Indian food I have ever had! We've eaten here many times and have loved everything we've tried. It is consistently good and everyone there is so friendly and welcoming, so so good!

I don’t leave reviews often but after trying this place I have to do it. I don’t have much experience with Indian food, but the flavors are amazing. Went there for lunch with coworkers. We all love the food and the atmosphere. Place is small but super clean and the staff great you as soon you walk in, super friendly. We ordered 2 appetizers + each of us a dish. My was the mango chicken - wow! - delicious! Don’t remember the other 2 dishes names. All super tasty and fresh. We met Harry, I believe the son of the owners- super helpful with explaining the dishes ingredients and also very friendly and funny. I definitely coming back and want to try other dishes. Once again- great place!

6/1/24: three weeks late posting this but the experience still resonates. It was wonderful: the food, the service, the drinks, all of it. We will definitely hit up Flavors of India again. That was the short version. The longer version is this: this particular Saturday we arrived about 10 minutes before opening. As we waited, two people walked in (staff), then a couple drove up. As they passed us, the woman asked us how many & said she'd set the table up for us. A few minutes later, a staff member popped out the door & told us the table was ready. CAUTION: it is a small restaurant. I counted 12 seats, all two-seater tables. This would explain the high traffic for take out - a lot of people came & went. Also, yes, you do have to order a side of rice (it does not come with the meal). No lie, everything we ate was superb. The dream started with their mango lassi and ended with the rice pudding. In between those delicious dishes, there was a mixed bread basket (it was huge! -- and I would go back just for the naan); some vegetable samosas, a plate of paneer pakora; the meals were a lamb dish and the chicken korma; the finale was mango pudding, as well as the rice pudding. Because of all the appetizers and the amount of food for the entree, I had chicken korma for lunch for four days. It is a lot of food, well worth the price. The decor was cool to look at and the service was fast, as well as super friendly. The 25 mile, 40 minute drive was well worth it, and will gladly be driven again.

The service and atmosphere of this restaurant is good but the food is a hit or a miss. I have ordered the same dish multiple times and the dish has varied completely. I can understand and accept a small variance but not a big difference. Mild hasn't been mild on several occasions. Pudina Paratha was a total fail, got a naan bread with mint powder sprinkled all over. I dont even want to imagine or try the Aloo Paratha now. The food isn't bad, but the restaurant needs to do better and be consistent to keep up with the alternative competitors springing up in the area.

We love this place! It's a smaller restaurant, but the food is amazing! They encourage me to try new things. Everything is so flavorful and delicious. I recommend the lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka is always great and the samosa is so crispy and delicious, never skip the Naan.

Although it is a little more expensive than other places, the amount and quality of food far outweighs the price. The inside dining are is a bit small though, only about 6 tables. Garlic Naan is very good!

Great Indian restaurant with very friendly staff. It’s a great family environment and excellent food. I had the SAG Chicken and my wife had the Chicken Tikka Masala with the Garlic Naan Bread. All of it was very tasty and the spice was just right.

This is one of the best restaurants in Gilbert. Consistently excellent food and the staff are wonderful. It's a small little restaurant, but with it if you have to wait. Lots of great vegetarian options.

We ordered veggie biriyani yesterday and it was awful. All it had was lot of chilly, few vegetables and rice. It should have been called chilly rice. Please don't sell this as biriyani for $15.

Five stars isn't enough to express how amazing our experience was at Flavors of India in Gilbert! My wife and I decided to have lunch there, and we were blown away. While we've enjoyed their takeout before (which is always fantastic), dining in person took it to the next level. We indulged in their delicious garlic naan and mango chicken, and every bite was a burst of authentic flavors. Highly recommended for anyone craving top-notch Indian cuisine!

After several unsuccessful attempts at having Indian food that's not 5-alarm fire spicy, we found the star of India- Flavors of India! Everything we ordered was unbelievably delicious and the perfect amount of (not) spicy. The service was gracious and attentive. If you want some phenomenal Indian food, go to Flavors of India!

Me and my husband eat Indian food often. He was born in India. We ordered chicken tikka masala (spicy) aloo paratha, aloo gobi masala and samosas…. Everything was spicy like we asked for, but lacked flavor. The aloo paratha had no flavor. Samosas were extremely bland. the chutney tasted sour when it should taste minty and the brown sauce was horrible it’s usually sweet an it was not at all. On top of that both orders of masala were 16.00 bucks an didn’t even come with any rice at all. You shouldn’t have to order rice when you’re ordering meals like that every other Indian restaurant gives you rice even if it’s a small amount. The lady who took our order was very nice though. An the atmosphere is nice.

We had the lovely experience of being assisted by Tonya, she was the sweetest and the greatest help! She was so friendly and welcoming. The food was just as amazing as the customer service we received, phenomenal, will definitely be coming back again!!

Very small inside. We are new to vegan and new to Indian cuisine. They have many vegan options. I wish they would have spoken to us more about their options when we said we were new to Indian food. We liked everything except the pickles. Pickles in India are not like American pickles at all.

I don’t know what’s better, the food or the owners. Either way we love this place!!

Amazing food. Best Palak Paneer I've had in awhile. Highly recommend. Gracious hosts and waitstaff. Answered all the questions we had. Very friendly. They were even willing to make something not on the menu for my husband. We don't do carbs like rice or bread and wasn't needed. We shared Chicken Korma and Palak Paneer. Perfection!

I love authentic mom and pops shops! First time Ordering from this place and got the Chicken Makhani (butter chicken) and Puri bread. It was delicious and amazing…the butter chicken is by far my favorite dish from any Indian cuisine and the chicken was very tasty with no cartilage so you don’t constantly have to spit them out and ruin your experience! Everything I ordered I got exactly and I would highly recommend this Indian restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Indian food.

One of the best indian food i ever had till now in Arizona. We had chicken korma, chef special chicken, garlic naan and chicken naan. Every food was so delicious, and also the portion was too good. I love how the restaurant owner was constantly checking on us if we needed something. Highly recommend this place and its value for the money too.

When we walked in we were greeted with a very warm and inviting staff at the front making you feel like family. I have food allergies and the chef came out to speak with us about the preparation of the dishes, how awesome! The food was out-of-this-world-delicious! Light music in the background made for a soothing ambiance... WE WILL BE BACK!

If you love real authenticate East Indian food this place is a must. Clean homemade food. Not plush but homley setting. Can't recommend this place enough. Not near to where we live but we'll worth the travel.

One of the top two Indian restaurants I've ever had!

No wonder why most of the non Indian people think Indian food is unhealthy, food was too oily and mushy. Ordered spicy lamb and chicken biryani and samosas. Samosas were okay but biryanis were basically rice mixed with curry and bell peppers and soaked in oil. Definitely not the flavor of any part of India.

The epitome of what I expect to get when I go out for Indian cultural food. I got the lamb tikka masala, my lady had ordered the mango chicken and both of the meals were so delicious and definitely a huge portion for enough to have a second meal at home.

MY FAVORITE FOOD PLACE! The portion size is enough to feed myself, my fiancé and my 11 year old. You definitely get your moneys worth. Usually I’ll make butter chicken myself at home but it’s worth it to pay extra and have them do it instead. You get a good portion of naan and rice too. It’s absolutely delicious! My only complaint is their hours! :( I get it they are a smaller business but I get so disappointed because I wanna eat here but it’s closed… Please please start staying open later ! And thank you for your delicious butter chicken & the lamb vindaloo is also delicious btw.

First time here today,got food to go everything looked good,clean small little dining area. All the good looked good. I ordered 1. Chicken Tikka masala and another chicken dish . I also ordered the biriyani and some other things... MY biggest disappointment and issue is the chicken Tikka masala was a portion so small I don't even think I could share this between my 2 kids other places the portions are the same and it's a lunch special . I paid almost 20 dollars for something that's literally an appetizer. Bottom line I got a bigger portion for the other item that cost the same so ? (Why) I feel like I was cheated on the amount vs the other item

I took my nieces who have been wanting to try Indian food for the first time, one of whom is very picky and they both loved it! We ordered lamb tikka, chicken curry and the chef's special chicken (all with medium spice which was perfect) along with mango lassi and garlic naan. Everything was delicious. The service was also great.

Excellent delicious chow! Apparently opened just recently. We got take out and at first it seemed to not be much food but there was tons! We got shrimp korma, chicken vindaloo and lentils, all were amazing! Ordered this much to cover both lunch and supper. Entres don't include rice which must be ordered separately. We should have bought an order for each dish. Most definitely recommend 👌 👍

Absolutely amazing food! Spice level is done on a scale for every dish which makes it so easy to try anything. Which I would highly recommend as everything I have tried has somehow been even better then the last. The staff is oh so friendly and knowledgeable, add this restaurant to the list you won't regret it.

A friendly owner and a family owned business. It's really the only Indian food place in the area. I enjoy the vegetarian options and of course all of the bread. You'll find it hard to pick just one thing that you like. Don't let the simple interior fool you. This place has good food.

This place is wonderful. Yes it is a small space, but the owners and staff are very kind and extremely attentive. The owner and waitress would check up on us constantly to make sure the food was good and that our drinks were full which we very much appreciated. They are very kind and the service truly is great. Also the food was delicious!

My favorite spot for Punjabi takeout in Gilbert/Mesa. Food quality is excellent, and service is very professional. Order early because there is a long wait time for takeout, but that's worth it for good food!

I have found my new Indian restaurant. We placed a to-go order online. Flavors of India not only made the ordering process easy, the food was prepared exactly as we requested and was fantastic. The service was prompt, communication clear, and the entire process from beginning to end was so simple. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful restaurant in Gilbert. We are officially now regulars. Tonight they were packed. While they don't serve the outside tables, they served ours... 💙 Great service, great hospitality, and even greater food.

Everything was excellent except the dessert. You have to pay extra for basmati rice. Curries and naan were excellent. Limited indoor seating but they have lots of outside tables if weather is nice. Took a long time for food to come out but it was a Friday night. The dessert was good but portions were jokingly small for what we paid. Only two small sweet balls for $4.50 and a tiny tiny scoop of ice cream for $4.50 Main food was excellent though! I also appreciated the complementary water bottles.

First time here. I've been wanting to try this place because it's close to home. I ordered online the chicken curry with rice and garlic naan bread. Online stated it would be ready at 5:10. I arrived slightly early because I wanted to have a look inside. The place is tiny but there are tables outside too. The food was ready at 5:12. Good job The curry was delicious. The chef might have been a little more cautious to ensure only 'meat' parts of the chicken were present but it was minimal. The rice was perfect, the curry was spiced to my liking (I ordered medium) and the garlic naan was perfect. The portion was decent for the price. As long as the food stays up to this quality we will keep this restaurant in our takeout positive experience list.

Stopped in the last night of our vacation and it was the cherry on top! Excellent, flavorful food and really enjoyed visiting with the owner. Had the Tikka Masala and don't skip the garlic Naan.

This place is so good! I ordered the chicken vindaloo and my partner ordered the chicken makhani. Both dishes were great! The chicken was perfectly cooked and the flavor was amazing. The staff was so kind! I would definitely go again and highly recommend checking them out!
