We didn't know a thing, but Ryan (the owner maybe?) was tremendous and taught a very nervous me how to throw the axe and even some stars. We played a ton of different games and even bought t-shirts. We found out they even hold tournaments there sometimes. An hour flew by. Yes, we had so much fun we even bought t-shirts! Everyone should try this once, twice and three times. It was awesome!!!!

My fiance and I had a bachelor/bachelorette event here and man what a blast! Ryan took the time to make sure everyone knew what they were doing and we got to throw so many cool things! 😂 Not often can I say I threw an axe, a ninja star, a cleaver, a knife, a shovel and a circular saw blade at a wall 😂 HIGHLY recommend!

We were celebrating a birthday and we had an awesome time! The online reservation was easy and the staff was responsive, even when I needed to adjust the time. We were greeted with great customer service by the entire team. Our coach, Garrett was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaged with our group. It was a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Our group of 7 had a fantastic time at the Flying Squirrel Axe Throwing in Indianapolis and Max was a wonderful host! None of us were harmed during our session, although some egos may have been bruised! I am normally a hockey player, which can get rough, so the Axe throwing wasn't too far off! Thoroughly enjoyable evening for three 55+ year old couples. Max was exceptional! He provided coaching and assistance to make everyone's visit enjoyable. The equipment quality was better than other places I have been. Definitely an exceptional value and good time for all.

We had a wonderful time celebrating a birthday! Max was fantastic, fun, informative, and efficient. The facility was clean and well equipped. Everyone was able to successfully throw and stick an axe but the stars were a group favorite. Easy enough for everyone to enjoy. The party room (which we didn't book because I didn't realize it was even a thing) was very cool and next time we may choose too book there. We brought our own food and their selection of beer and cider was impressive. Highly recommend giving them a try, its a fun adventure and gives you a whole new level of respect for lumberjacks (as if their physique wasn't enough :))

Celebrating our daughter’s birthday here. First time doing this. Was a blast! Staff was super helpful, lots of room to move around. You can bring in your own food if you want. They do sell beverages and popcorn! If you ever wanted to do axe throwing, I recommend Flying Squirrel Axe Throwing in Speedway!

The whole experience was great! I was with a group of 8. We had the private room in the back which made our experience even better! Max did an outstanding job explaining the games, helping us as needed, and he was a great bartender! I'm looking forward to another trip to Flying Squirrel!

We had a delightful time! Max helped us out and he was great. He checked in on us, gave us tips to be successful, and introduced us to a few cool throwing tools like a ninja star or a shooting star as I accidentally kept calling it! Ten out of ten! Drinks were reasonable and free popcorn!

Max really made our experience fun! He had an amazing sense of humor but did a great job explaining how to stay safe and how to throw the axes. It was a great experience with great drinks and the restroom was cleaned and well maintained. If throwing the axes isn’t working for you ask about the shooting stars. Max brought those over to us and they were great!

It was my first time here, attended a bachelor party and we all had a great time. The staff was helpful getting us started and occasionally walked by with tips for us but generally they stayed out of the way and let us have enjoy our time there.

I loved it. I went alone, but it was still a fun experience. The instructor, Max, was so cool and helpful. I started to get the hang of throwing the axe by the end. They have games and other things to throw as well. Money well spend for 1 hour. Will definitely be coming back with or without companions.

We had a great time at Flying Squirrel! The staff was very helpful, we had a group of 6 and 4 of them had never thrown an axe before. Within about 30 minutes, everyone was sticking bullseyes. Besides the normal hatchet we were given two sizes of throwing stars and a pair of small shovels to throw. We will be back!

Our group had a blast learning how to throw axes and other sharp objects! The Flying Squirrel crew were great and let us try all kinds of things. So much fun and I can’t wait to try it again! My husband threw me a surprise birthday party at Flying Squirrel Axe Throwing and it was the best time! We had 18 guests and we were accommodated so well. I will be recommending them to everyone and we will be back!

Pediatric Dentistry West had the best night out with both West Indy office and West Lafayette office. Our coach was amazingly fun and very helpful.

My husband has wanted to do this for several years for his birthday. I finally made it happen. Most places would not save a lane for less than 6 people and was going to charge me for 6 when I would only have 5 people. I did a same day booking for 2 people. We both had fun and will be back.

Amazing two hours with friends celebrating a 30th birthday! Everyone was entertained and enjoyed playing a variety of games projected on to wooden backboards! This was our first time Axe throwing and Max thoroughly and efficiently explained it to us. We loved that they had multiple game options. Awesome experience in Western Indianapolis! I’d never been axe throwing before, but it was an absolute blast. I went as part of a Bachelor Party, and the staff were so nice and helpful to us. They were really cool, and they taught us how how to throw various sharp things. They also took our photo for us for our party. The targets also had projector overlays so you could play various games such as darts, battleship, tic-tac-toe, and a cornhole type game while throwing axes or other objects! It was so cool!! All in all, Flying Squirrel is a very unique and enthralling experience. It’s 100% worth a trip!

It was so much fun! We hadn't put down that it was my friend and I'd birthday weekend but our trainer overheard and let us use the shovel. The throwing stars are so fun and a good way to get any frustration out cause you're unlikely to miss.

This was such a great place to host a company holiday party! The team couldn't have been easier to work with, they were super engaging in their instruction, and the space itself was perfect for a big group event. Multiple people said it was their favorite holiday party spot we've ever had.

This place was absolutely amazing! We were able to rent out the place for 2 hours for big event. They were extremely accommodating and very friendly. We were even able to place personal photos on the axe boards to make for a fun joke! I highly recommend for a fun filled night!
