Beautiful place to grab coffee! Served on with cups/mugs and the Veggie Quiche was delicious. The back patio is a great place to enjoy and has a good atmosphere to it. I got a honey lavender iced coffee and it was perfect and not too sweet.

Was visiting New Orleans for tales of the cocktail 2024 and looking for a nice cup of coffee early morning as I get used to the time zone. This place was beautiful, charming, affable, and full of great characters.

Stunning space on an unassuming block. The coffee is excellent and the baristas are friendly and warm. They are dog-friendly! The space is very large with several rooms in back and a small courtyard with plenty of plants. There are communal tables, a bar, comfy chairs and a timeless coffee-shop mood.

Such a great spot! Lots of seating inside and outside. Back garden area with seating and on the pavement out front. The espresso was lovingly pulled and drinks carefully made. The Shroom Boom croissant was so delicious As was the dirty chai. Service with a smile even when the line was wayyyyy long.

I happened to stumble upon Fourth Wall while running errands and I am SO GLAD that I did! The inside is super cozy, the baristas are kind and chipper, and the coffee is delightful. I had an iced honey latte. Not too sweet at all! But y’all. If you have the option to grab a Boudin Boy from their case, YOU MUST! It was lucky enough to get the last one and my goddddddd talk about a foodgasm! Flaky, savory, bursting with flavor. I’ll crave those more than I crave beignets! That’ll be my first stop next time I’m in NOLA for sure!

Grateful to have found Fourth Wall while staying in town for a conference. Visited every morning. The lush, calm courtyard was wonderful for decompressing during a busy week. Barista was super welcoming. Did not eat any of the pastries, but they looked unique and delicious!

What a great, charming coffee shop. So quaint! Came for the coffees but croissants were fantastic. Just loved starting my day here. Only in NOLA would we see such a perfect spot.

Really cool cafe downtown - the drinks are delicious and the food is incredible. The kaya cake is unique and one of my favorite things - ever. Just get there early or they will sell out. Service can be a little slow when they get busy but overall they make the drinks well and quickly. The backyard space is really cool and a great place to hang out for a little bit and read or chat with a friend.

Started off by going to an another coffee shop, Café Bon Ami. But when I walked inside, it was absolutely “cold,” literately snd figuratively. Trusting my instincts, I fled that place, with its mechanical, round-the bar queued line and glaringly impersonal vibe. Five minutes later, I was at Fourth Wall. The place is friendly and upbeat, but also toned-down and Human. The coffee was absolutely stupendous. Do not miss this one. And it’s fairly easy to do because the front door has a board over it where the window has apparently been smashed, and a sign that says “We Are Still Open.”

Fabulous coffee with a really great atmosphere! Staying at the Sheraton a couple of blocks away, and stopped here to get some better coffee than what the hotel provides. Was not disappointed! Ended up hanging out and reading a book for a couple of hours. Plenty of diverse seating options, and the coolest vibes. Nice courtyard palace too! Definitely a recommend!

This is a fantastic coffee place, which is hidden away with a great outdoor back yard. The coffee is extremely tasty. The service is good, even when busy.

A sweet piece of paradise in the middle of the big easy! I stopped in multiple times while staying in a nearby hotel. My coffee was perfect each visit. Service was quick and thoughtful. Can’t wait to visit again! Grab a seat outside in the back if you can, it’s magical.

Tucked away gem! The sausage and egg Boudin was savory yet light and refreshing. The coconut and custard Kaya Bun was scrumptious. Neither the coconut nor the custard were overpowering, but each shined through also allowing the pastry itself to take its place on the stage. Most importantly, I came for the herbal tea. I ordered the hibiscus which was delicious! They also have a wonderful selection of box teas for sale as well.

Strong coffee in a relaxed atmosphere. We stopped here during Jazz Fest weekend and the two people working made the line go smoothly. I ordered an iced quad latte and an iced mocha. Both drinks were delicious and the cafe is huge with many comfortable sitting areas. We didn’t get a chance to even see the pastries because the early crowd bought all of them. They must be good.

Really cute patio/courtyard out back! Ordered the black and white which had great espresso flavor with the perfect amount of sweetness.

Cozy, out-of-the-way cafe in an old building. Loved all the ambient lighting and vegetation. I'd be remiss in mentioning the coffee and espresso, though, which was superb. Staff and baristas were all friendly!

Definitely a must go to place in CBD. The coffee was carefully prepared, the baristas were super friendly and very nice. The location is a hidden gem, very relaxed and great place to spend some time enjoying your coffee. We enjoyed it immensely.

The service was amazing! The staff were incredibly kind. I initially ordered a hot americano, but I received an iced one. The barista was incredibly apologetic, but why did I order a hot drink in New Orleans weather anyway? The drink was delicious. I will definitely be back!

I go to Fourth Wall almost every day to read and work ‘from home’ :) it’s a beautiful cafe with charming staff and good music. If you’re a relaxed person looking for your secret hideout in the city, this is the place.

Photos and menu on Google Maps were incorrect based upon our visit. At 9am on a Saturday, there were only a few cookies available for food. We were too hungry tod stay for just coffee. Looks like a cute place, but don't rely on the pictures.

Peaceful coffee-bar in CBD and found this nice alternative to busy mediocre hotel coffee places. Food was just a small selection of pastries and seems to vary by day. Coffee drinks are excellent. Ambient coffeehouse alt vibe.

A bitter coffee that was helped with extra cream. Lovely vibe, quite relaxing and much larger than expected. The outside courtyard is a pleasant surprise away from the entrance and deep in the establishment.

Best flat white I’ve ever had and the food is to die for. Staff is so kind and efficient. 5 stars all around!

Great coffee shop, as many others have said, BUT DON'T SLEEP on this spot as a private event space! They hosted my wedding afterparty here and it was a dream! There are multiple spaces for different party vibes. The courtyard is wonderful, it was great for lounging and having deep chats. The larger room makes for a great dance party. And the bar was outstanding! The bartenders put together a really great selection, and also did a great job making fun drinks for people who don't drink alcohol.

Small little Cafe that you'll miss if you're not looking for it. Very homey setting: think 90s college, student-run coffee house. Coffee is top notch, nice barista,, just a lovely spot.

Walking into Fourth wall feels like you're transported into a different world. The cozy ambiance is a welcome haven from the busyness of downtown New Orleans. Good coffee and pastry selection with all the basics done well. I'd definitely recommend to stop by with a book and just relax.

I stopped in to work remotely and Fourth Wall did not disappoint! There are plenty of areas to work individually, plugs, and even an outdoor patio. My hot spot worked perfectly. The staff were so nice and the coffee was lovely!

Being from Australia and a flat white drinker got us here. The location is hidden away and easy to walk past. Once inside you are aware this place has its own style and different areas to sit. It looks as though it would have a totally different atmosphere at night with a bar in the middle area. But after 5 nights in New Orleans and visiting most coffee houses serving flat whites within a mile radius of downtown, this ended up being our go too for a morning flat white and almond croissant.

Looking for a coffee while waiting for our breakfast spot, and found this place on Google. Having good reviews, I picked this place which seems to be a small business over a chain which had comparable reviews. While the coffee itself was alright, the service was very lacking. Not only did they just forget about my wife’s coffee, but we were with another couple and they also forgot one of their coffees as well. The female working there wasn’t the happiest of people whenever asking about the drinks or asking for sugar.

The best coffee I’ve had since I’ve arrived in New Orleans, which is somewhat surprising with New Orleans having so many coffee shops/cafes. It has a lovely garden courtyard and a quaint setting indoors. Would recommend a visit.

Funky lil space close to it all! Came here to work for a few hours my first day in town and I was a little hype being a tourist and the barista just really matched my energy and I loved that. Well made drinks and super welcoming space.
