The best little coffee shop! I love the new location in downtown Baxter!

Great coffee. Super breakfast sandwich and friendly service.

Was just passing by and luckily found this hidden gem. The ladies were very welcoming and the iced lattes were amazing! If I was a local I’d be here all the time working remotely and also supporting the great cause.

The owners are so nice and personable. I have loved all the seasonal choices -- the blackberry cobbler and Reese's overload are two of my favorites!

Hey there! Just swung by this local coffee joint and had an awesome experience! The vibe was super cozy, and the service was top-notch — they really know how to make you feel welcome. And oh boy, their coffee? Absolutely divine! I tried a couple of their specialties, and each sip was like a little slice of heaven. Plus, they've got more than just coffee; their treats are to die for! Definitely adding this spot to my regular rotation. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area! ☕👌

Great coffee shop! First, the parking lot was large enough for us to park our 25’ camper & truck. The owners were friendly & efficient. The coffee & breakfast croissants were delicious! Thank you! Highly recommend!❤️

The staff is very friendly here and it has a variety of drinks and food that you can choose from. Great place to study and hangout with friends.

My favorite coffe shop I've ever been. It has a calming quality, and its small buisness that works hard to please its what cookeville needs. Gluten free foods and natural decaf coffee too!

Best coffee/baked goods in Baxter! I had the Blueberry Cobbler coffee (spring special so may be unavailable in the future), and a coffee cake (the size of a mini-loaf bread), and it was amazing. Building is super clean, a nice selection of baked goods, and drinks (they serve tea/cocoa/etc if your not a coffee fan or your doctor says that you can't have it), and you can't ask for friendlier staff. Lots of room to host small business meerings; or game group meet-ups, and they are happy to serve your groups for either. I also love they are not fake supporters of our Veterans & First Responders (you know the shady businesses who use them for advertising but don't really do anything for them), and they offer discounts for them plus allow you to buy giftcards to give a Veteran or FirstResponder- they also promote legit resources for our local heroes! They also have a drive-thru if your in a hurry, but need your coffee fix! Looks like plenty of room for wheelchairs to be pulled-up to the edge tables without being cramped, and definitely plenty of room to walk around inside with walkers/crutches/canes without being crowded at the counters. Decour is amazing as well, love the signs/pictures/walls/little-decorations. They even have a nice ship painting on the wall by the counters. The little bathroom signs you can see outside the doors are awesome too! Smooth operations for the soft opening as well.👍

Great atmosphere! There are games, great food and coffee selections! We've had the Pesto Chicken and Turkey Club sandwiches. They were mouth watering good! Service was fast and friendly. We're planning on meeting here on a regular basis. 12/06/23. Went back. Had the homemade hot apple cider. It was great!

They have one of the best cups of coffee in the area. The people that own & run the place are the friendliest & most helpful folks! I love their muffins, which goes well with a French vanilla brew. Mommas! Go see for youself.

Fantastic atmosphere. Very welcoming, Freedom House Coffee is a place you can go and get work done or take a break and enjoy great conversations with the compassionate and friendly staff while enjoying the soothing, relaxed atmosphere. The drinks are amazing and the food menu is a meal you will not want to miss! In a rush? They have a drive-through too!

Very nice, calm, soft atmosphere. We NEEDED a Coffee House in the area, and this one is doing it right. Very good service, and the way they treated my Service Dog was outstanding. I will certainly be stopping in often.

I live in Baxter and drive by this place frequently. I stopped by today (went through the drive thru, so I didn't get to see inside) and ordered 2 coffees, for only 9 bucks! And they were delicious! Better than any other coffee shop I've been to. The gentleman who worked there was very professional and nice. I will definitely be frequenting here! The farmers market is Saturdays from 7am to 4pm (if I remember correctly) and I can't wait to see what thats all about next!

This place is awesome! Not only do they have the best coffee, pastries, and sandwiches....but they give back to the community! They provide aid to veterans and first responders. Excellent place to drive thru and get coffee and pastry to go on your way to work in the morning! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The panini was great. Hot and Fresh and the sugar free iced coffee flavored w/ white mocha and oat milk was very good. One of the best I have had. and I have been to other places in Tennessee this really holds up with the out of town coffee shops. Thanks for a great lunch. Melissa Robinson Cookeville TN

My friend and I posted up here to get some work done and were beyond pleased with the atmosphere, food, beverages, and service! I even bought my husband lunch to-go. The gluten-free options are a huge factor in where I frequent, and this great new shop did NOT disappoint! I can't wait to make this a new regular stop!! Coffee, tea, snacks, lunch - they have it all!

Really enjoy the people who run freedom house coffee - they are very kind and compassionate people who are trying to run a coffee place in a place not used to quality coffee. They source their coffee from a roaster in nashville and the owners are fun to geek out about coffee tasting. The espresso is very mellow and sweet which means their cortado and lattes don’t have the burned bitter Starbucks flavor and as another bonus they have more caffeine 🫨

Mom and I decided to try this place today because they advertised a vegan hot cocoa. They did not disappoint. The owners are very nice. The atmosphere is very nice. It is owned by a pastor and his lovely wife. They play quiet Christian music. They support veterans and first responders which is absolutely awesome! It is decked out in patriotic decor! They also sell doTERRA, local honey, and all natural hand salve. It is roomy and they have board games to play. The food is delicious I had the turkey and bacon on ciabatta bread. Mom had oatmeal. We both enjoyed. The cocoa was delicious, a non vegan would never know it's vegan. They have some vegan options for food also. We will definitely be back! Go support local business! They're located on 120 Abby Lane.

This place had such an upbeat vibe not to mention the coffee is delicious. Rachel's cheery smile and chipper Good morning is what keeps the people coming back.

This place is amazing The food was good Employees are nice Honestly didint except the food to be so cheap If I had gone to Starbucks, I would have spent $20 more dollars just for 3 items.
