In town for Volleyball tournament and was fortunate to have time to search for this gem. What a pleasant and lovely atmosphere, with owners intimately involved! Had the portobello panini, absolutely delightful! If we are in town again, we would definitely visit again.

Fantastic Italian food! This is what great food is all about!! Everything is made to order from scratch. Excellent ingredients. Great wine. Fantastic service. We need more places like this!!! I heard they moved here from New Buffalo; their loss is our gain! Check this place out!! If you don’t like this place, don’t bother leaving a review. You. Are. Wrong.

Ate dinner at Fresco tonight for the first time. The bruchetta was the best I have ever had. I had a special Mahi Mahi and my husband had the chicken alfredo. (Both phenominal) then for dessert we had the flourless chocolate cake. All the food was to die for. The prices were very reasonable and the service was fantastic. Tonight our server was the server, the hostess, worked the line, the busser, and ran the register. I was very impressed with how well she handled everyone. We were out on a date night and had zero care in the world to get out of there quickly. We will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Tasty fixings. Not usual LaPorte fair.

Our family stopped in for a late lunch and we had amazing paninis (it was the best I ever had). We ordered a steak, grilled chicken, BLT, roasted veggies on the side and their soup. So delicious! The woman serving us was really kind and we were able to finish our meal even after their shop was supposed to be closed. Thank you!

My brother and I each enjoyed an exceptional Panini sandwich! I had the turkey with Swiss on ciabatta/rustic Italian. They use select healthy ingredients and artisan baked bread. I have eaten at many good delis and cafés in my lifetime, and this is one of the best!

Stopped here for just a second to grab lunch to go! Small, cozy spot with nice people who work there. Had the turkey panini which was so yummy! I felt like the ingredients they use are most definitely fresh & healthy (as they promise), and I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about the food, service, and location!

Since starting employment in La Porte last year, Fresco has become a frequent dining option for me! The ingredients have a freshness and flavor profile that you cannot get anywhere else, and Susan (the owner) is an absolute delight. My favorites are the italian panini and the buffalo chicken wrap.

Stopped here for lunch on our way up from Lafayette to Lansing, MI. Very cute little brick building with great outdoor seating. We are both vegetarian/vegan, and the options were great! (Even better than what we can get in Lafayette). We had the lentil panini and portobello mushroom panini, both looked and tasted great, and they clearly use fresh ingredients. Staff was friendly as well.

I had an amazingly delicious lunch there with my granddaughter & great grandson! The food is soooo good…you just have to try it!! It was my first time there & Im definitely going back!!! Food is awesome, the service is great…I guarantee you will love it!!!

I unknowingly placed a to go order (Google has their hours incorrect) 5 mins before close on a Friday. She gladly placed my order without hesitation. Everything was fresh, hot, and put together beautifully. I had the BLT and husband had the Italian panini. Wedges were delicious too. Will be back! #supportsmallbusinesses

This is my favorite place in LaPorte! The food is soooo delicious & fresh!! My children also love this place… I would eat here everyday if I could lol.. Owners are also great!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Fresco was great! The scallop salad was great- the scallops were prepared perfectly tender! The shareable antipasto (2 types of cheese, 2 types of olive, 2 types of Italian meat, roasted red pepper, marinated artichoke hearts and toasty crostini) taste great and definitely serves 2-3 people! The Italian panini was a hearty and wonderful mix of flavors on a perfectly toasted rustic italian panini bread- great flavor! The side of roasted veg was awesome- very flavorful zucchini, eggplant, yellow squash and red peppers! The owner was there when I placed my order to go and was very sociable. We talked about the history of the building, renovations, etc.. She explained she was a food scientist/nutritionist and focused on good, healthy and clean food! All the food was made to order and I'm looking forward to trying the house made tea infusions in the warmer weather!

Delicious both times I've been! I've gotten the turkey panini and the chicken panini, both times with the coleslaw. They will tell you though that this is slow food, it's all made in house at the time of order, and is as local and organic as you can get, so the wait is definitely worth it! Bring a friend to talk to :)

Small place with big flavor! Slow down when you're on Jefferson, you don't want to miss this place. Great food. Great people. Fresh, sustainable foods....... Great idea!
