Always delicious. A staple of the beach. We actually had them open up and do a dinner for us for our wedding rehearsal 30 years ago. It stands the test of time. Good food, good service and good atmosphere never goes out of style.

All in all it was great! Service was amazing and easy on the eyes. Food was good, more than what you can eat for sure.

We have been dining here when we stay at the Doubletree Hilton. It’s within walking distance and the breakfast is absolutely amazing. I had the steak and eggs and it was awesome. Best breakfast of the year and the owner is very nice.

8/27/24 Breakfast on our anniversary get away. Still great food, huge portions, and excellent service! We might squeeze another visit before we leave! Wonderful place! -- We were in Tampa for personal travel and this was a great breakfast place the last time! Very friendly folks and the amount of food will make sure you dont leave hungry! We will be back!

Very plentiful servings! Order the banana bread as an appetizer before breakfast and spread their homemade strawberry jam on it. It’s so good! My family and I ate here for breakfast twice while staying in Reddington beach for vacation. I really enjoyed the salmon Benedict but the quiche I was disappointed in. They put a gob of cheese on it. More melted cheese than eggs, broccoli and crust. Home fries are super tasty

Had bacon and cheese omelette, it was huge and so nice. Staff were friendly and service was great, will come back for the French toast! Sat inside, lots of frog themed things, plenty of places to sit, food came out hot and we didn’t have to wait long.

Showed up with a party of 8 on a Wednesday around 9. Staff worked quickly to set a table for us. Everyone had a water in front them and coffee was being poured as we were sitting. We ordered and everyone had their food within 15 minutes of ordering. Portion sizes are impressive. I highly recommend splitting a meal. The omelets are large enough to feed 3 average eaters. I ordered the eggs in a pan with toast and could finish. They make their own strawberry jelly which is a must try! Definitely worth the visit

This unique place has been a family favorite of ours for YEARS! We live in KY, but every time we vacation in this area, it’s on our list of places to go for breakfast. The frog decor is so fun and entertaining, making it a very enjoyable experience. The portions of food are HUGE! Omelettes are my favorite thing to eat here. The servers are amazing and take great care to ensure you have everything you need.

We visited here as our last stop in FL. The community and service here was superb. Despite us showing up 30 minutes till closing, they seated us, we didn't feel rushed, and the food was excellent. Becky was great and looked like a hard worker. We understand that at 30 minutes to closing you're ready to go, but she interacted with us, joked with us and still did her job without an attitude or lacksy daisy if I might add. Thank you to the staff at Frog Pond for showing us such hospitality. We will be back soon.

Unfortunately this was a letdown. I was super excited about trying it based on reviews and ordered one of the popular eggs Benedict; it looked like slop on a plate and didn’t taste much better than it looked. Eggs were overcooked, potatoes were mushy. Friend ordered quiche and couldn’t even cut through it and it had a soggy bottom crust. We left most of the food on the plates, not even edible and the manager really didn’t handle it well; we were comped our coffees. Our server was very good, but wouldn’t go back.

the guy who sat us and took our drink orders were friendly and helpful, tracy J our server was not so friendly. she took our order dropped off the food and we did not see her after that until she brought the check. no drink refills, didnt ask if we needed anything etc. food was bland and my french toast had parsley mixed all in it, the french toast was cold and the potatoes slices were over cooked and soggy. the toast was thin and dry like cheap day old sandwich bread. the omelet was good. place was super busy and had good reviews so we had high hopes.

This place is our go to feo breakfast every time we are down in Florida. The service is great and the portions are large. We haven't ordered anything we didn't like this far. It is a must for anyone staying between Clearwater and St. Pete.

Haven't been for awhile now but my Dad goes everyday ! Loves the atmosphere, loves the owners David and Brian well~ super nice guys my son and I can definitely agree and the portions are enormous and delicious. The frog pond is a special place to Geoffrey and I ~ and my Dad gets together everyday with his friends that come each morning or brunch time as well ~ son and I miss the Frog pond very much and getting together with Dad and David is always a great time. Very polite owner and has a great sense of humor makes visiting this great spot even more enjoyable. You'll see when you stop in for amazingly delicious breakfast, brunch or lunch Enjoy!

Had the white fish stuffed with crab. Lemon, butter, wine sauce. It was delicious. Server was very knowledgeable and explained different things on the menu.

I absolutely love this place. The food is perfect and service is amazing. I had the corn beef hash well done with a slice of cheese in the middle. Oh my God, out of this world. Absolutely recommend this place..

Bring your earmuffs. I've never been in a restaurant that was this loud. Between the kitchen throwing dishes and the obnoxious loud mouth Yankee next to us, it was unbearable. Oh and the food was just mediocre. My biscuits were not even done. Love them doughy biscuits. Do yourself a favor and go to Sweet Sage just a block or two away. That's were the amazing food is. And what restaurant south of the mason Dixon line doesn't have sweet tea. Cmon man.

We had to try as this place was walking distance from where we were staying. We were not disappointed. Great and quick service even though the place was super busy! We loved it so much we went two days in a row and happened to have the same server both times, that was even better !

One of our favorite places to eat! They always have HUGE portions and leftovers are just as good! You can get all you can imagine. The staff are great and quite attentive. The food tastes fresh and is always made to order. They seat you quickly and bring the food in a timely manner. Today, they had a balloon performer who made lots of critters for the kiddos. He was wonderful to watch while we waited for our delicious meal. We cannot recommend this place enough. Try it today - you won't be sorry! 😋

We’re from Richmond Hill, Ontario Canada and are in Florida for March and April. We can walk to the Frog Pond from where we stay and frequent the Frog Pond while there. They are always busy and welcoming, the food is very reasonable and the portions, well, let me put it this way, you won’t leave there hungry! I particularly love their Julienne Salad. Can’t wait to go there next year.

Had breakfast here several days ago and have been here in the past several times. It does not disappoint. The food is good, the variety exceptional, wait staff are efficient and service is fast! Never had an empty coffee cup and prices are very reasonable. Good place to go with a family because of the prices, speed AND they make amazing balloon animals for the kids. Although I kinda wanted one too…

This restaurant is for tourists because they don’t know any better and its close to hotels. It’s always noisy at breakfast time and if you’re not there by 9:30 you’ll be waiting for a table. I’m a breakfast omelette, connoisseur and have eaten breakfast at just about every restaurant in Pinellas County. This place has the worst egg omelette they cook the eggs on a skillet then when they’re done throw the greasy veggies inside then fold it closed that’s not how to cook an omelette you’re supposed to mix in the veggies with the eggs as they’re cooking. In addition look at the greasy diced potatoes in the pictures they’re all mushy with grease. If you want a delicious healthy breakfast go to FirstWatch Restaurant they’re all over the state of Florida , they give you a piping hot stainless steel croft of coffee no need to wait for a waitress to walk by for a refill.

The food was great but they didn’t tell us that there would be a $5 charge to have an ingredient that is already part of the entree placed on the side. When we tried to negotiate with the server they refused to work with us. This isn’t standard practice in the restaurant industry and should be clearly stated to customers when they first order.

I have to say this was the worse breakfast I have ever had 🤢 I ordered the Frittata which is the first picture, showed the waitress a photo of a real Frittata and informed her this is definately not. It was a disgusting mess! If you’re ever traveling north, check out Otto’s in Galena Illinois they know how to make a crazy good Frittata. I should have sent it back, waste of $$ and it went in the garbage

Wow and amazing! There was such much to all of the food here, I was super impressed. I was a little worried by the pricing, as usually at the price they have, the portions are small for the price. No need to worry though, they really do feed you here! All of the fruit was perfectly ripe, the Lox Omelette my boyfriend had was to absolutely die for, and the Hangover Omelette I had was so flavorful. The portions are really so big, you're guaranteed leftovers, it's great! I feel my only issues were that our server seemed a bit busy(it was busy so that's no big deal), and the crepe that my friend had ordered wasn't quite what you think a crepe would be. It sure was fruit with the crepe pastry, but none of the filling or powdered sugar, not quite traditional, but I believe that's how it is put on the menu, as just a "fruit crepe". Other wise though, the atmosphere was really quaint. A lot of the more busy spots will be crowded and uncomfortable, but it was busy here and I didn't feel one but uncomfortable. I definitely recommend coming here. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious and you get your money's worth for certain.

This is our favorite breakfast place in the north Redington Beach area. Food is great. Very generous portions enough to take some home for a second meal.

Our server was warm and welcoming. The atmosphere was cozy. I got the BLT with home fries and my sister got the meat lovers omelette with home fries. The portions are large, so beware of that if you can’t eat much. The food was delicious!

The portions are insane. I still have half my omelet for tomorrow's breakfast. Right in and seated. Waitress did forget my wife's pancake, but once it showed it was amazing.

We went for breakfast on a weekday. It was pretty crowded but we got a table immediately. All the staff was fantastic, especially our server Jacqueline. The food came out incredibly quickly and was delicious. We got pancakes, waffles, bacon, and a huge spinach and mushroom omelet. Prices were high for breakfast food but that's normal for beach locations. Plus, we had leftovers because the portions were so big. The restaurant decorations were super cute, too, with hundreds of frogs. Definitely recommend 👌

I ordered the Belgian waffle topped with apples and whipped cream. It was excellent. I wish my side of bacon was a little crispier, but I should have asked for it to be crispy. The rest of my family was happy with their food as well. I would visit this place for breakfast again!

We were in town for a wedding and the next morning we found this place. Very long wait but usually that’s a good sign, which was true in this case. Eggs Benny was to die for, breakfast potatoes seasoned perfectly. I cleared my plate. Our family had blueberry pancakes, eggs and bacon, etc and everyone loved everything. I wish we lived local and could visit again!

Arrived a little before 9:00 am, signed in and had a 15 minute wait. Don’t let the wait scare you away. This group is very efficient in getting you to your table. Everyone helps each other. Bryan was our server. Everything was perfect! Lots of food for a very reasonable price!

Menu is expensive. Food is tasty! Service is pretty attentive. Unfortunately, even after asking for my meal a specific way, it did not come out that way. And, they took it back to “fix it“ versus remaking it. My new toast was hot instead of cold and chewy. But my eggs were then overcooked. The Italian sausage is very good. Blueberries and Italian sausage added to anything are an up-charge. Had to ask for my water to be refilled after waiting for my server to come back. All in all, good experience, but could’ve been better.

Amazing service, the staff was very friendly. Me and my family all ordered omelettes, two club and one spinach, and they were absolutely delicious! There was very little wait time, especially surprising given how many people were there with us. As a bonus frogs are my favorite animal so the decorations were very fitting! Would come back anytime.

Went on a Sunday around 9am. Waited 40 minutes for a table for two. They have seating inside and out. We sat inside in the very crowded room. Food came out very fast and was great. Very large portions. Wait staff friendly and very organized. Definitely would return. The Corey Avenue Sunday market was right across the street and is open from 10am to 2pm. Great place to walk and burn some breakfast calories.

The frog pond Restaurant, where the absence of French fries and hash browns is the real tragedy of the culinary world. It's like going to a concert and finding out they only play the kazoo. This place is so behind the times, I'm surprised they don't serve dinosaur nuggets. It's a culinary crime scene where taste buds go to die a slow, flavorless death. In a state known for its freedom, this restaurant is a dictatorship of blandness. If you're looking for a time machine back to the tasteless past, The frog pond is your ticket. It's a paradise for the elderly and a nightmare for anyone with functioning taste buds. Bon appétit, if you dare!

Me and my family of 4 total. Came in around 10 or so for breakfast. We had a blonde waitress. Can't recall her name at the moment. It started with an R. Rochelle possibly? Not sure. You guys better ask for her because she's the best server I've had in I couldn't tell you how long honestly!! Didn't need to write anything down at all. Took our orders smoothly and everything came out perfectly and exactly how we asked!! The food was amazingly delicious as well. I personally work in a restaurant and I can tell you right now, this was one of the best experiences I had here. Definitely worth checking out!!! Best breakfast spot in town more than likely!

We came here this morning for breakfast. Family of 4, we were seated promptly at a corner table. A small table that was wobbly anytime one of us leaned on it. There was a men’s breakfast taking up a large section in the middle of the restaurant, and our waitress had this group alone, plus us and a few other tables. It took a while to be able to put our order in. The waitress was friendly, the food came out quick. I got a ham and cheese omelette, and my son got the cinnamon roll French toast with a side of bacon. My other son got a chocolate chip Belgian waffle and my husband got the “special “. It was supposed to come with juice and coffee, they never brought the juice and no one came by to refill his coffee. By 8:30 the place was filling up and it became pretty loud in there and I had to wait a very long time to get our bill. The men’s breakfast all 10 men or so paid separately so the waitress was trying to cash out all of their bills. While I understand why we had to wait I don’t understand why management wouldn’t help her with the cash out process so she could attend her other tables. All in all food was good not great and wouldn’t go back.

Food was good but we had never had bananas foster before and my daughter ordered it not knowing it was cooked with rum. She ate 1/4 of a $13 waffle and could not finish it because of the alcohol taste. Yes, I know the alcohol content cooks out but the flavor does not. We expressed our concern to the server who said ‘sorry everyone knows bananas foster is made with rum’. No offer to make something else. We had high expectations and I hate that we left disappointed. ‘The Mom’ was delicious and the bacon was crispy and flavorful but stopping to get an additional meal after paying $40 for breakfast wasn’t my favorite. Cute theme and decor though.

A very cool little place with literally hundreds of frogs. The food is excellent and plentiful. I always get a hangover omelet and my wife likes the cinnamon French toast. Good coffee and the staff keeps it filled. We do get there early around 8:00 because it fills up fast. Parking can be a hit or miss.

We tried this place based on reviews. While the service was fine, the food was dreadful. Everything on my wife's plate was drenched in season salt and she had to take a thick layer of cheese off of the "quiche" that wasn't a quiche at all. The grits were so hot they burned my mouth. All for $45. We won't teturn.

I came here the first day of vacation. Excellent decision and the best place to have started off! Food was delicious, service fantastic (with a shoot out to Amie) and sitting outside couldn’t have provided a better view. There’s a good reason that this place pulls up first on Google

Ive been going to this staple since I was a baby. Altgough nostalgia doesn't influence my opinion whatsoeger. The service and food are head and shoulders above other restaurants. This is an example of what great quality and service looks like. They set the bar high and exceed it.

Went this morning. Was not impressed at all. Both our tea and coffee were served cold. The cinnamon "French toast" was more like pancakes. Very disappointed. Asked for bacon to be well done, each piece was limp and fatty. My husband had the eggs in a pan and said it was pretty good. But very rich. Service was sparce. Took a while to get milk for tea (which made the pot of tea turn cold) so then asked for a new pot of tea. (Almost was like warm tap water).

Everything here is wonderful. You always leave full and very happy!!

We asked for recommendations and ordered two of the ones offered by our waitress, the Cinnamon Bun French Toast and Bacon Eggs Benedict. Both were delicious, our waitress was exceptionally kind and attentive. I will say, it’s obviously a popular breakfast spot, we saw a long line on the weekend, which means it must be great! We had no wait on a week day.

The Frog Pond is one of the best establishments in the area. It’s a staple for breakfast in Pinellas County. I always have the most amazing experience when I come in. The staff is extremely attentive and kind. But that’s not where it stops the food is incredible. The fresh made hollandaise sauce on the Benedicts is one of my favorites. And if you have a sweet tooth you have to try the cinnamon roll Frenchtoast or the Banana foster waffle. I can’t wait to spend my morning at the Frog Pond again.

We were seated almost immediately despite it being quite busy. Unfortunately, when we were seated, the noise level was very disturbing. I could barely hear myself think, let alone hear the others at my table. That's not the fault of the establishment but those seated around us. However, it may still be something to consider if you plan to dine here. The food was good and the portions were quite large, so if you leave hungry, it's definitely your own fault. We had a couple of initial issues with our orders but they were immediately corrected, so definitely a credit to the servers and the establishment.
