Big veraety of sushi. Very fresh and tasty. Grate quality. Very recommended!

A friend recommended this restaurant. Although I was not hungry, I still ordered two large sushi rolls, which tasted fresh and delicious. The Vietnamese rice noodle soup and beef were delicious, but the rice noodles were cooked too long and became like rice paste.

The food is amazing and the juice its very refreshing, and the people are nice and cool its here 👍 This review was created by Destiny, a 7 years old happy for the services and delicious food. They are pet friendly, highly recommended!

A friend introduced me to this little gem where we had an outstanding lunch and 11/10 service. I’ve never had a sweet potato roll and it was out of this world. SUCH a pleasant surprise as I can’t have raw sushi while pregnant. The place is clean and quick, but we didn’t feel rushed.

Great local sushi/hibachi restaurant! Food always hits the spot. We stopped in later on a Thursday, about 8. Service was good but we did feel a bit rushed being asked if we were ready to order almost immediately after seating. The server lurked around table even after asking for a few minutes, which we found odd. Food came out quickly and beautifully prepared. Cold beer and average prices.

NUT ALLERGY - We have been getting hibachi from here for quite some time, it is fantastic. Today I ordered a sushi roll and house salad for pick up. When I got back home I saw there were walnuts on the salad. There is no indication on the menu that there would be nuts. With the amount of times we have eaten hibachi with a side house salad, there has never been nuts. When I called to mention it (not looking for a refund, just looking out for myself in the future and others) they told me it was on me because I didn't ask for no nuts. How am I suppose to ask for no nuts if it is not listed that there would be nut?

This is probably my favorite restaurant in the area. We bring guests here often. If it is somebody from the area who is not been there it turns into their favorite spot as well. Wonderful friendly staff God sent to our area.

The food was just mediocre. Small portions for dinner. The calamari was all rings loaded in breading tasted previously frozen. The fried rice doesn't seem fried at all, more like steamed and tossed with a drop of soy sauce and scrambled egg.

The new hostess is so nice and friendly and easy to understand. Will be returning !!!!

Great food but stopped going because of the service. Every time I call they put me on hold forever (10+ minutes) before they come back and take my order which takes less than 30 seconds. Not worth the hassle anymore I'll just go elsewhere. Management needs to hire more people or train staff how to quickly take an order.

We enjoy going here. We order tuna, salmon and yellowtail sashimi along with the caterpillar roll. Quality of the food is great. I also get the hot tea. Staff is very nice.

Great food and the best I have found in Florida, which doesn't say much because I'm from Chicago and they don't have good Asian food in Florida, that I have found, so far. Service a bit slow all the time but not too bad. Atmosphere is plain but clean. I would highly recommend this place. I don't eat sushi but people I know love the sushi here. The hot food is great, and it's nice to have a variety to satisfy all. Note that they are not open on Tuesdays and only sell beer and wine.

Always delicious! Large sushi menu, and very willing to accommodate special requests. Check the special roll on the board on your way in, too! This is our go to for sushi, without question. Highly recommend the gyoza and edamame appetizers. Several beer wine and saki options.

I drive right past another Japanese food restaurant that I used to go to just to come here. That is 15 miles each way! This place has the best service of any restaurant around. The waitresses are wonderful!. There is one there with a name that sounds like "sillyluck" From Thailand that we just love. She always greets us with a big welcoming smile and gives my wife and I fantastic service every time. The other staff is great too. The food is delicious every time. I tip higher here than any other restaurant I go to because I am so happy with everything that happens here. I definitely recommend this place for Japanese food.

Food: Fantastic quality salmon, well portioned and presented sushi. Service: Abby was so kind, personal, funny and remembered everything we needed. She made us feel welcomed for our first time visiting. Food came out quick. Atmosphere: A little close with seating but they really make it work with the music being just the right volume. Not too loud where you can’t hear and not too quiet that you still feel the energy of going out. Clean restrooms and tables ect. Thanks, traveling to my family’s home, this makes a great stop for us to meet and will be back especially due to the service we experienced.

This place is a "Dynamite"... that is the Dynamite Rolls. Awesome place for a good healthy meal.

Came here as I have not had sushi yet in Florida after living here for 5 years, and this place is amazing! Great service, had the hot Saki and the Long Island roll, and my sister had the Flying Dragon roll, we both enjoyed our dishes. The only complaint I had was that our waitress was a little slow to get to us, but it was very busy so I should not complain. I will definitely be back here again soon as I live 9 minutes away! Very happy and glad we came here.

I love this restaurant 😍 I think sushi quality is very high. We ordered rolls & sushi and sashimi boat, and it was $60 for 2 people. It was a lot of food and it was delicious!

Heavy set non Asian Girl behind desk was extremely rude. She got snippy with the wrong person. I placed an order online and got a text the order was placed. I went in when the order was to be picked up and it was not ready. I inquired how much longer and was told another 15-20 minutes. They never placed my order. No apology and an attitude from the girl behind the desk. I will never go here again if this is how they treat their customers.

Steak and chicken hibachi dinner was delicious. White sauce was probably one of my favorites so far. Ginger dressing on the salad was good but not the best I've had. Atmosphere was great and service was even better. No hibachi tables, everything is brought to you. I would definitely return!

Food here is excellent, but the best part was my server Luck, she took my order right away and always came by to refill my drink. I have been here many times and i will only ask for Luck to be my server, none of the other servers do a great job like she does.

I have to edit my review because they have done a great job improving. They have become my favorite place to eat now!

The sushi is excellent, but the chicken in the fried rice had no seasoning. I'd come back for sure for the sushi, and I might try another entrée, but it definitely wouldn't be chicken.

Stopped here to pick up some sushi to go but the dining room was so inviting I decided to stay. The food was excellent and not over priced. And I walked away Full despite only ordering a couple of rolls. Very friendly staff and they checked in on me several times to refill my drinks and ask if I was ok. This was one of my favorite sushi experiences. I highly recommend for a date or even just a business lunch or something. Either way bring a friend, its better for your digestion. 😜

First off. You must come to 12205 Mercado Dr in Venice. NOT the one on Toledo Blade and NOT the one on Jacaranda in Venice. Not the same food. Food is incredible at this location in Wellen Park.

Paid $35.21 for a hibachi steak dinner. Meal was decent, however the food is slightly dry. When my order arrived the smells were delightful and I was pleasantly surprised the noodles were tender. However after further inspection I never received the soup that comes in a normal hibachi order. When I called to ask I got the run around with 0 effort to fix a $2 bowl of soup. Overall probably won’t be returning.

They need more Sushi chefs making Sushi 🍣 ... had to wait 20 minutes for 2 spicy tuna rolls !! Abd my Gyoza was frozen out of a bag .. sent it back couldn't eat it so bad . And I'm not a picky eater

Up and coming restaurant in the area by the West Villages, South Venice, Wellen Park and North Port area. Employees treat each other and you like family. This place has Great food & the beverage selection is good,, & the servers/employees are very attentive. Definitely worth a stop in if you're in the area. Went out for dinner. We tried the spring rolls, beef Negimaki, green peach roll (all vegetables), and sexy girl roll (king crab, spicy tuna, eel sauce, escargot, seaweed, & more)! Beautifully crafted sushi that tastes as good as it looks!

I was very surprised at how good this place was.

New to Sushithe menu can be a bit overwhelming. The food was tasty was not as spicy as the menu would have indicated.

I always get the Super Godzilla Roll when I eat there!!!! It's really good!!!! Eating at the restaurant is nice but I usually take it to go or have it delivered!!!! The service is always good although the food might take a while to be ready if they're busy!!!!!

Really starting to lack in quality of sushi on to go orders. Ordered shrimp with asparagus, ended up with literally asparagus and hint of shrimp, ordered 3 shrimp tempura got maybe 2.5 rolls, Philly roll may need to be changed to cream cheese roll....

Not many vegan choices. Pho Bowls were wonderful. Waitress worked hard to help us with menu choices. It was a bit pricey.

Giving two starts because the sushi is decent. I wouldn’t recommend the hibachi here. I ordered chicken hibachi for take out and I got huge chunks of plain unseasoned chicken on one separate side and the worst fried rice I’ve ever had on the other. I got the lunch special which is supposed to come with miso soup and salad, they forgot the soup.

EXCELLENT sushi place! Great sushi, great service! Definitely coming back here before I leave!
