My sister-in-law Jeanette Baker Williams and her family the Williams family have been going to this fish market since the seventies

My first time here. It's an ok little neighborhood spot. It's not the best and it's not the worst. Decent portions and ok taste. Fish could use more seasoning. Overall it was ok.

Today was my first and last time visiting this spot! I waited over 2 hours just to be told that my order was never put in. This was after REPEATEDLY asking about my order. It was SOOO HOT that I got dizzy and had to go back to the car THREE times! Then after running out of my own water in my 32° cup I had to PAY for something to drink. The owner was extremely nonchalant and wasn’t really concerned that I’d waited that long and was leaving empty handed. I do not recommend this place and agree with others that the health police folks need to pay them a visit.

I waited 2 hours today for 4 pieces of fish only cooked. I kept asking for my money back and they kept passing me by and telling me they’ll check on my order. I used to come to Galles when Mrs. Galle ran it and it was nothing like this.

Should be criminal how delicious your meal are EVERY TIME . Truly a great place!

Delicious food. Customer service is great, all complaints are answered and fixed with zero complaints. Waits are mostly 15-20 minutes, depending on how busy, but calling ahead will always assure that food is ready by the time you arrive.

Incredible customer service. Incredible food hot and fresh.Prices are easy on the wallet too. I will never go anywhere else!!!

Ordered Fried Ocean Perch; Fried to Perfection

I DO NOT recommend this place and here is a reasons why. The place is unkept and it smells when you walk in. No matter how clear you are in placing your order you don't get what you ordered. The pale faced owner is very rude and disrespectful to what it seems like regular ethnic people that support his business. Had I known that after ordering from this man, I would have never supported him. The food portions are extremely small , and certainly not worth the pricing. I am recommending that the health department pay this place a visit. Completely unsanitary.

Its a family tradition to eat here and the best fried fish in town.

The best fresh Seafood in Augusta Georgia . Food cooked to perfection . Not too salty . I ate Cat Fish , Fries ,and Onion Rings . The owner and staff were so polite and friendly . Very clean restaurant . I can't wait to go back .

The flavor of the shrimps are great fish was okay not fried hard enough I asked for fried hard core slaw not good! Overall it was okay

First time trying and had a bad experience. Food was not ready and was told I would have to wait additional time for my food. No apologies. I hope the food tastes good at least.

I bought two (2) pounds of jumbo shrimp and five (5) whole red snapper fish. I requested my five (5) whole fish be cleaned and each to be cut into two (2) equal half making it ten (10) in total. After about forty-five (45) minutes of waiting, the owner called my number and I went inside, payed for the fish and shrimp and left. I drove home and dropped the package in my freezer. A week later I took the package out of the freezer to cook for my visitors and noticed the fish was 9-half pieces instead of ten (10) and the shrimp was less than a pound after defrosting. I immediately called Galles and a worker picked up the phone and after listening to me, told me to talk to the owner and the person made me feel he was handing the phone to the owner. The owner after listening to me also told me that he’s about to hand the phone to the owner (second time). The third worker finally told me the owner wasn’t around and that I should call back next day. I hung up and never called back. I used to go there every week but have not gone back there.

I picked a fresh fish to be fried and was given a pre-frozen piece instead. I know the difference! Never again.

This morning I had the best customer service experience you could imagine that I just HAD to let the world know about. I never had catfish before and decided to try it. A gentleman asked me if I'd like it cut up into little nuggets because I wanted it fried very hard and when I say it was awesome!...I mean AWESOME! To go the extra mile to make sure I would love the catfish is a business deserving recognition at its finest. Thank you Galle's and family. You are appreciated.

If your in Fayetteville this is the place for fresh fried fish. It’s good food and the only place I’ve tasted that actually makes “fresh” fried fish everyone else is frozen and it’s a totally different taste. Mmm Mmm good.

I come to this establishment to buy a flounder whole then when I waited over an hour, he tells me that my fish is filleted in pieces. I truly believe the owner did it on purpose.

Nice family owned shop with fresh fish counter, skilled cooks and top notch food. I especially enjoy the catfish and the whole fried fish. Staff is friendly. They make it to order so it is not quick. It is well worth the wait. Give it a try!

My order was all mess up ,fish was raw,fries raw,didn't get the Wright fish sandwich and no one will answer the phone poor service the cook can't do a good job will never come back

our experience with galle's is extremely exceptional, the staff are friendly and the market's environment and other customers are always cool, calm, and collective!! we can't forget to shine light on mainly the cooks in the kitchen, because these brothers are the best part of the whole establishment to be honest bc it's so obvious that they put a whole lot of talent and TLC in their cooking skills, they understands their assignment as cooks there extremely well, this is one of the main reasons why we keep coming back!!!! they all definitely deserves a raise!!!🤗

Nice place, I thought that they served just fried foods, but they got fresh fish bream, and all kind of fish, brass sitting on ice big old plump 🍤. The lady told me whatever kind of fish you want that they have they can clean it and fry for you right then. I ordered the fish with the flounder and fried shrimp, it came with french fries and you can get potato salad or coleslaw, fried okra etc. The only thing I wouldn't put the cold potato salad in the tray with the hot food, that doesn't make sense.

They had bones in the Whiting fish and they didn't have the Fish(Croaker) that I wanted. Disappointed respectfully

Too busy to take my order , greet me or acknowledge my presence. I was the only person standing ...one other couple seated waiting ...I know it's deep in the "hood" but passing thru to grab a bite to eat while driving...didn't go well...I hope I never get rerouted in that area ..I was forced to give ⭐

Galle's Seafood is well known local favorite with great service and friendly staff, that is always available to help you. You can call in your orders. I believe they deliver as well. Open daily for lunch and dinner + weekend . Mon - Sat. The food is great and they have reasonable prices. I love this place! ❤️ L. Goodwine

I ordered the fish and shrimp dinner with baked beans and fried squash. As you can see from the photo,the squash was big. The reason why is because they clucked, breaded and fried 3 slices together. That was messy.

Came around 10 minutes after 10 and they were nowhere near ready to start serving. The person at the counter said it would be 30 minutes before they start cooking. Waste of time. Why open at 10am if you're not going to be ready for customers at 10am?

It's that black bass for me, didn't get the employee name by great salesman and customer service!!! The fish and shrimp were on point the flounder too just first time ever eating the black bass and it was great!!!

It was just ok for me and service was very slow, over 40 minutes for fish special. No rush to return. The best thing was customer service.

This food was amazing, was fresh, mouth watering and delicious. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great southern style fried fish and hush puppies. One thing to note, if you like Tarter sauce, please request it, I don't think it's automatically thrown in. But hot sauce, ketchup and mustard is. Happy eating 😋
