Patient staff, great food during a heavy rush. We were arriving just as the surge of people came in. We visited after our visit to EForest, needless to say we were hungry. The staff was patient and the food was cooked as ordered and fast despite the circumstances. It's nice when a restaurant understands what *over medium* means.

Had a great experience at Gary’s. Service was quick, super friendly, and they made a good Bloody Mary. The food was pretty good, typical breakfast food, but the home made bread was really good. The bathroom was clean and both stalls had a lot of space. There was even a motivational sign to empower women in the bathroom. The whole was was wheelchair accessible (even the employee entrance) the only difficult part was finding the main entrance. Great place, will eat here again! I LOVE GARYS!!

Had my first breakfast at Gary's today. Ordered the Kings Omelette. Man oh man. When the lady brought that out I was surprised at how big it was. And it was as good as it looked. I will be back.

Wanted to try Gary’s for a long time, this morning was our day. Warm welcome. Nice staff. Immediate seating. The coffee was great and refills kept coming. The food came out quickly. Food was OK/average at best. Underwhelming is a better word. We were expecting better both in taste and presentation. Not sure if we will ever be back……

We've eaten here occasionally over the years and it is usually pretty predictable an average American family restaurant. Today, my husband and I stopped in hoping for a quick lunch. We weren't disappointed. I ordeted a cup of chicken noodle soup and a side of their mac n cheese. Both were very good! The noodles in the soup were good quality and plentiful, as was the chicken. My husband ordered a cup of shrimp corn chowder and a ham and cheese sandwich. He was happy to discover real shrimp in the soup and a lot of ham on his sandwich. He enjoyed both. We ate and had beverages and the bill was $16. The service was great and food came swiftly and hot. We were quite happy with all of the menu options. Oh...and you can get breakfast all day if desired. Edit...today for lunch I enjoyed their au Jus sandwich. It is very crowded on Sundays between 9 and 1 pm.

We had a group of 21 people and sat on the patio for breakfast. The wait was nearly non existent, our service was stellar and the food was to DIE for. Our family was so impressed and we will definitely be back next time we visit MI Adventures!

We had a very delicious breakfast at Gary's. The muffin bread was a nice touch with the over the top meat omelet with eggs so thin a crepe would have been jealous! The frech toast and corned beef hash were also very good. The wait staff was attentive and outstanding!

Great Stop after Electric Forest! Even stayed open later* to accommodate to the amount of people. No wait. The best service around and amazing food options! Vegetarian & gluten free! Highly reccomend and we will be back! (Stayed open until 4pm for EF)

Food was pretty good, but corn beef hash was quite salty. I've always liked Gary's because of the breakfast but sometimes you get a mediocre cook & it's not as good. Not trying to degrade just stating my different experiences I've had here. I would recommend this place. To each their own.

What looks like a standard breakfast place has gems hidden all over the menu. Whether you choose the breakfast or lunch options you'll be happy with what you get. Last time I was here I got the chicken bacon ranch mac, I had never thought about putting ranch on mac & cheese but it was a great combo. Have this place high on your list if you are in town or the area for a great way to start your day

We visited on a Sunday for breakfast at 11am. We assumed it would be busy and it was, but not every table was filled and they had plenty of staff, which was very friendly. Our problem was that once we ordered no one came back to our table for 40 minutes while we sat and wondered if our simple breakfast order was ever even put in. We were getting ready to just leave when it finally came out. Suggestion: if the wait on basic breakfast foods during breakfast is going to be exceptionally long - please tell your hungry customers before they order, and come back and fill up on dang coffee and water... Food was okay, not worth the price or the wait honestly.

The vegetarian omelette with Frank's hot sauce with the homemade bread was amazing! It was very filling and the veggies were fresh. Highly recommend!

I ordered breakfast food that suppose to have cheese on top like real cheese.. It was processed sliced cheese and microwaved.. It was gross... We didnt even finish our meal.. The staff was snide and it smelled liked grease.. I wont be going back which is sad because when they were in montague the food was better and so was the restaurant.. What happen? Its been a while but wow.. When i think cheeses on top im thinking real shredded cheese not processed sliced cheese... Common

The restaurant is walking distance from me so I figured I would walk over and get some breakfast the lady that waited on me was very nice she said it would be about 15 minutes I stepped outside for a couple minutes came back in sat down for about 3 minutes had my breakfast already I could not believe it that was fast and the food is absolutely wonderful

Kinda just a typical breakfast place. Nothing really sets them apart. Service is always fast and they keep up on your coffee, it stays full full & hot and they have vanilla creamer.

24$ for a burger and cup of soup at lunch I know costs have surged, but this place has went to far. I have had much better at russ's for less cost. For the taste and the pocketbook, head down to north muskegon !

Good biscuits and sausage gravy seasoned with herbs. A tad salty for my taste, but not my husband’s. Eggs nicely cooked. Friendly service. Missing fruit on breakfast menu. As with most restaurants in this area, inside looks much better than outside of building. Would dine here again.

Got there mid morning and we were seated immediately. Excellent coffee and great corned beef hash with eggs over easy in the hash. Huge choice of omelets as well. Excellent service and reasonable prices. Very nice staff. We'll be back again.

Gary's is a Classic! Always good, always a fair price. I love it because I can see a friendly face every time I visit. The staff is kind. It gets a little busy on Sundays but they move through the seating chart pretty quickly.

Disappointed. I had a craving for pancakes when we went but should have stuck with the omelet that generally is great. The pancakes were so dense, hard to cut and fell apart. They soaked up the syrup and still had no flavor. The bacon was so thin and no flavor what so ever, reminded me of pre-cooked bacon. The eggs were "egg product" at best. This was a go to spot for us and I am not sure it will be going forward. The service was good as they were busy and she did her best to take care of us.

Typisch Amerikanischer Diner. Der Service und das Frühstück war sehr gut (Typisch Amerikanisch halt). Wir hatten Omlette, Scrambler und Stuffed Hashbrowns (2×). Für 4 Personen haben wir 60 Dollar bezahlt. Das Restaurant an sich könnte jedoch noch etwas aufgehübscht werden. Es war sehr dunkel Innen und zT etwas lieblos eingerichtet.

Good service. Good loaded tater tots but the worst omelette I have ever had. The ratios were all off and not good at all. It had a paper thin outer shell of egg, almost no cheese, and then a bunch of extremely salty lunch meat type ham. They also don’t give you any potatoes with their omelettes. Thank goodness I ordered the tator tots to fill me up because I couldn’t choke down much of that dry salty omelette. Their food did not set well later either. I will be avoiding this place in the future.

Had a wonderful breakfast here before heading out for the day! Staff was super nice and friendly. Food was excellent!! My hubs and I shared French toast, eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and an order of biscuits and gravy! Everything was absolutely delicious! We would definitely eat here again if in the area!
