I've never cared for Italian beef until theirs. They have an Italian beef pizza that's delicious! Do not get mozzarella sticks. It's more of a giant puck of cheese, and neither of us ate all of one.

This place is a great stop. If you leave hungry, shame on you. Their food is delicious with large portions. Our server was very personable & did well. We were full but OMG the peanut butter pie was amazing. Prices are very fair.

Small town Italian restaurant, the atmosphere was very casual and relaxing. The food was great, service friendly and fast. The coleslaw was some of the best we have ever had.

Great Italian food! Very busy evening so we were glad to have reservations. Service was still very good. We all had enough food to take some home for a 2nd meal.

Four of us had lunch. We enjoyed brushetta, salads, calzone, meatball sandwich, and spaghetti(sorry we didn't take photos of all the food). The bruschetta was delicious and the presentation added so much fun to the dining experience! Great atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating.

My calzone was way too cheesy. It had too much mozzarella and not enough meatball. I got the Meatball Calzone. Everything else was amazing but I could only take a few bites of the calzone before I stopped eating.

Plenty of parking, huge selection on the menu, waitresses were super nice, food was delicious, love their bread sticks, they have a very nice outside seating area, plenty of inside seating, highly recommended.

I don’t like leaving critical reviews but hopefully this will help all concerned. The service was okay. The wait staff seemed to be working hard. However the veal I ordered was so tough I could barely cut. Ditto for my wife’s chicken. I wanted to say something to the server but she never asked for feedback. My guess is she saw how much food was left on our plates. The salads - house and Caesar’s- were tasty and fresh.

We had spaghetti and mostaciolli and both were delicious. Of course we took home a piece of Gerrie's Jubilee...YUM!!! We also really enjoy Gerrie's simple house salad...the mandarin oranges are such a nice addition!!!! This is a favorite restaurant for us! The chef fixed us our first risotto on our 50th wedding anniversary! We just wish we knew how to determine when they will be serving it!

Came in for a pick up order and was told by server at the counter he would be just a second. He then walked off and went about doing multiple other things and did not bring me my carry out order. So i stood awkwardly waiting when finally after 10 minutes someone else walked up while the original dude was milling about doing anything but helping me. So finally get my order of a pizza and breadsticks. Unbeknownst to me the bread sticks are overly and obnoxiously large. Completely useless and stupid. The pizza was undercooked and was virtually tasteless. The sausage tasted old and lacked anything but a spicy flavor. Pepperoni did not taste like it was the ingredients they claim to use. Tasted like bagged pepperoni from the grocery store. Last time i got pizza from here it was good, this time around it was hot garbage. Won’t make this mistake again 3rd time. Go to papa johns, far better than this run down “italian” restaurant.

Great place to dine in! It's nice and not overly expensive. Definitely worth the trip.

Food was great, hot, and fresh. Service was super friendly and also speedy. The place has a warm, lived-in environment which felt very at-home. A kind of experience you just don't find anywhere else. And it doesn't break the bank either. Big recommendation from me!

Just a great place for good food!

We try to visit Gerrie's every month or two, we wish it was closer so we could visit more often. We always receive amazing service and even better food. Highly recommend trying this little gem hidden in the heart of Little Italy in Clinton, Indiana

They took good care of our family... and there was a bunch of us!!!

Our amazing waitress had the place to herself. She did an AMAZING job of keeping in touch with all of her patrons. Owners: we were there Friday, January 26, around 2:30-3:00. Please take note and give that girl a raise. She was phenomenal! Unfortunately, I can't remember her name. Young lady, long dark hair in a pony tail with a great personality. The food was hot and delicious. We had fish and chips, and the blackened chicken Alfredo. There were two huge pieces of fish, and the fries were well seasoned. Unfortunately, I don't make it to Clinton, Indiana very often, but if I'm back in the area, I will absolutely visit again.

Ive been eating at this restaurant for a while now and its amazing, the last time I dined in was with a group of almost 15 people from my schools yearbook class and we all where served within a decent amount of time. Servers are friendly and patient, would highly recommend.

We went out for a birthdays dinner. The food was excellent and I needed a doggie bag because I couldn’t finish my plate.

Amazing place. I just moved to the area. Love the home made bread. The waitress was friendly and had extensive knowledge about the menu, didn't have to ask about specials or anything. Food was top notch .

called and made reservations for 6 people, table wasn't ready when we arrived on time, had to sit cramped at small round table out front with everyone else. table was too small for everything. we wouldn't have made reservation if we were going to be placed at small table.

Absolute amazing meal of their special entrees, baked raibow trout pouch for me and steak & breaded shrimp for hubby. Our waitress Missy/Melissa gave us 5☆ service not found in some of the most expensive restaurants we dined! They substitued pasta with EVOO, garlic and fresh basil for the baked potato, and it was a perfect accompaniement to the fish entree. Even tasted our friend's breaded mushrooms aand they were fantastic too! Great wines, and their pours and cost are equally plentiful and reasonable!! Their Italian Cream Cake was so good, not dense like it often arrives at other Italaian restaurants. Thank You for taking such great care of our table for 4, Missy it was so appreciated! We will be returning soon!

I got the lobster ravioli and it was to die for! Highly recommend going and sitting in the bar area to enjoy a fun lively conversation environment!

Great old school NY Italian food just as I remember.

The fried mushrooms are amazing, and I don't like mushrooms to begin with, but good lord 🙌. When we come into town to hunt, this is my goto spot. The staff is excellent foods great and not bad priced.

First time visiting Gerries in Clinton, In. Great place! Service was excellent. Atmosphere was good. Their marinara sauce is excellent! The bread sticks are so big they could use more sauce options like garlic butter. Lasagna was big and delicious. The blackened chicken Alfredo was excellent. The house salad and dressing was good but the ceasar salad was drenched is dressing and made the salad hard to eat. The strong ceasar dressing was over powering. I believe the salad should be tossed with dressing and not topped with a large portion. The next time I'm getting the seafood platter, it looked fantastic! I would go to Gerries again for sure.

I enjoy going to Gerries's... The food is always wonderful. Anytime I have guests in town, I make sure we eat there. I took a friend there for lunch, and she was shocked I have been holding out on her by not taking her to Gerrie's yet.

It was extremely noisy in the little room that we were in.

The other day was the first time visiting on labor day and that is now my favorite place to eat it was absolutely wonderful.

Reliable, yummy spot. The menu is big enough but not too big. Everyone in the family can find something they like, including your picky eaters. The prices aren’t bad. There is usually always space for our family of 7. Parking is fine. It’s a big, gravel lot. We love it here!

Great Italian Beef sandwich, deep fried mushrooms and Strawberry Fields salad!

I like it because it feels like you’re in a family home but it’s not awkward and claustrophobic. Lots of big spaces. Massive portions. Very reasonable prices, almost want to say “cheap,” but don’t want to give the wrong impression. I do mean massive portions, though.

Went for 36 anniversary. The food was delicious and service was great

First visit. Had the Stromboli and it was excellent! I will be returning, but not sure when, since I live over an hour away.

Driving through this little town hungry for a late lunch, we found Gerry’s open at 3 p.m. and ready with pleasant service and homemade everything! The bruschetta was a full loaf of grilled bread brought to the table and then slathered by the waitress with tomatoes, basil, red onions, mozzarella, and balsamic glaze. My husband had the best Reuben he’s ever had— complete with marbled bread and plenty of corned beef, sauerkraut, and dressing. My spaghetti and meatball was tasty and filling. Charming atmosphere too!

The first time my husband and I dined out in a restaurant in over three months. Glad we picked Gerrie’s Restaurant in Clinton. The table, chairs and menus were noticeably clean. As expected my Strawberry Fields Salad was delicious. My husband loved the Lasagna. It could have fed three. We enjoyed the taste and smell of the complimentary warm breadsticks and marinara. The cook heard us comment on the Breaded Portobello Mushrooms as the plate passed our table and sent out a sample. I want to give a shout-out to our masked waiter Daniel. Great personality and was conscientious. Thank you.

If you want great Italian, This place is worth the short trip! I had the Calzone (Sausage and Jalapeno) and my wife had the Lasagna. Both were delicious and the portions were enough for take home.

Great veal parm. I also had meatball sandwich and italian beef sandwich to take home. Both were good especially the meatball. Also had fried mushrooms and canoli which were tasty. Staff was great.

We went for lunch while visiting The Covered Bridge Festival. It was recommended by the owners of Peaceful Waters Campground. The day we went they had their lasagna on special, I ordered that with a glass of wine. It was a large portion for the price and the flavor was outstanding. The sauce was a bit spicy, but that's how I like it. It came with a wonderful salad and garlic bread. I would definitely have this again. My husband isn't much for Italian food so he ordered jumbo pork tenderloin sandwich and loved it as well. (Note the tenderloin was the largest I have ever seen even bigger than the ones they have at festivals.) All in all I would certainly recommend this restaurant. The wait staff were professional and very friendly as well and the atmosphere is very nice.

We were in town for a high school football game and called ahead to order. They kindly took our order over the phone and had a table saved for us when we arrived. The service was great throughout the experience even though they were packed! Our salads were good. We ordered chicken alfredo, which was good, and eggplant parmesan, which was FANTASTIC! We saw appetizers on other tables that looked very good, too. We also enjoyed a glass of wine and a beer with our meals. We will make the trip back to Clinton just to eat at Gerrie's.

Driving through Clinton - which is not very large - looking for something Italian since Clinton is supposed to be an italian town. Saw Gerries and decided to try it. It is an older restaurant but was very homey and inviting. We tried a meatball sandwich and an Italian Beef sandwich. The bread is very good - homemade and meatball and beef were great. One of the side options was fried pickles which I really liked.

This is my favorite restaurant. I have never had a bad meal here. They have the best Italian Beef I have ever had, if there is somewhere better I would like to know where it is. They have Italian Beef sandwiches & Italian beef Calzones- a pocket of bread filled with cheese and Italian beef, this is served with marinara sauce (very good!) to dip it into. I would also suggest the onion rings with this. The batter they use for the onion rings, mushrooms, & pickles is the same. It is slightly spicy. On fridays, they usually have specials. I have yet to have had a bad special. The price is higher than lower end restaurants, however the prices are low for the quality you receive. I would recommend going during the week or during the day, as they are quite busy on Friday nights. If you go on the weekend- Friday/Saturday night- you may experience a longer wait. This wait is worth it, it is best if you know going in that good food takes more time. This is not fast food. It will not come to your table as fast as fast food, it will cost a little more than fast food. The difference will be in the flavor. My family enjoys celebrating birthdays here, but it doesn't take much to convince me that it is a time to celebrate with Gerries.

Greek Salad, Italian Beef Pizza, Fried Cheese....awesome food, little pricey but worth it... for dessert get the Napoleon..

The restaurant took our group of 9 although we hadn't called ahead. The group included ages 2-90 and everyone was happy with our choices. They serve big portions and 2 kids splitting an adult entree is probably saving money over the kids meals. We thought the bread and food delicious.

The lasagna at Gerrie's was the best!!. Not only was it great - the size was huge. I had dinner and 2 lunches from one order. Also had a salad which was really good it had mandarin oranges on it which added to the flavor. We had fresh bread brought to the table with marinara to dip while we waited for our salads. Really good Italian!

Thus place has never disappointed me. It's my daughter's and I favorite place to eat in the wabash valley. The fried mushroom is magic, and every entree is amazing. I usually get the special because iys always good and the desserts are always amazing.

I was told we would get bread as soon as it comes out of the oven. It came cold and no butter or dip. The bread came after our order?? The Italian Beef sandwich had ring of beef, no bigger than a cigar covered with cheese and a lot of bun. The small bowl of slaw was room temperature and a little tangy. The server said they were using portion control. I was there with a friend not long ago, with another home town boy, Johnny,his idea he wanted me to try the place. He said a little pricey but was good. I don't know what has happen but i won't come back to things change back.
