i visit for the first time and it was a nice experience my chicken cheesesteak was fresh all the condiments was so fresh the pizza smelled so good i will try it nxt time only thing this place doesn’t sell fries i was a little disappointed but the chicken cheese steak was off the change

Let me start by saying I had the Chicago style pizza: and that was an amazing pie everything I could would want!! The customer service went above and beyond to make my order right there was a miscommunication on the phone for my carry out and was easily fixed in no time. I will be making more visits in the future!

I've been trying to eat here but the line is always too long. I'll have a review soon as I'm able to slide in and out. Stay tuned!

The pizza is really good but the bottom of the pizza is always burnt!

Pizza and wings were really good even though the wings were a little small. Bread sticks were pretty plain, literally. To be fair I don't know if that is how they are made in the area though. Really good deals though, I'd order from there again.

This is one of the worst pizzas I’ve had. I don’t even think the cheese was mozzarella or provolone? Anyone who uses mushrooms out the can for pizza, I’m not ordering pizza from you again. The lady at the counter was super friendly and nice.

Very good! I got 2 slices of the cheese pizza, and was very impressed. Each slice was only 3 dollars and the size of my head. The staff was very quick getting my food out and friendly. Who I assume is the owner or head manager made extra effort to make sure I was enjoying my food, and encouraged me to try the seasonings. He even gave me extra seasonings in a condiment cup to bring home. The pizza was delicious and I will definitely dine here again.

I am not a hardcore pizza fan, but this place and the families pizza recipe are pretty awesome. The owner really cares about his craft and recommends their Italian hoagie. The dine in area is small and pretty plain. Though that doesn't impact the food.

Price is great Pizza was great Cheesesteak- meh - needs to be chopped way better - it was too chunky, and way too much mayo. Grilled onions need to be just that, caramelized and Grilled

Been here a few times whenever I'm in the area. It's a cute little spot with really friendly staff, good pizza, and service that is way above expectations for a shop in a strip-mall. I'm a little fluffy (I'm working on it 🏋🏼‍♂️), so the booths are a little snug, but that won't stop me from coming back. Arrive hungry and leave happy. Also, buy one of their pizza tree shirts, it's adorable.

Hadn't been here in at least ten years, so was happy to find the pizza is still EXCELLENT!!! Much nicer inside the restaurant now, too.

Awesome place and never disappoints

Tried a new place tonight, excited based on the reviews... Won't be back. Pizza was medicore, can't really do pizza wrong. Got our order as carry out, heading to pick up after canning it in- it was only mildly warm when consumed. Also got a plain cheese steak & stuffed shells. The cheese steak tasted like the Steak'em meat from the grocery store & the sub roll was soggy. The stuffed shells were also just sub par- 3 in total, for $12. Very disappointing and feel like money was wasted.

Pizza was delicious! Very nice atmosphere with a steady flow of local customers. Greeted immediately as you enter the establishment. The main guy will give you recommendations if it's your first time there (do not ask for Pineapple and Salami... lol). All in all, it's the best Pizza I've had in years.

This place is honestly my favorite pizza place in Severn. The food is always amazing, perfect crust, perfect flavor and the staff is always great. This is a hidden gem among Severn.

Years later, and I still have fond memories of grabbing a slice at Gianni's for lunch.

The best pizza in the area - flavor with every bite. A crust that holds up and isn't made into a wilting sad slice by the sauce (just enough for a base). Worth the drive to pickup or eat in. The service is quick and efficient - the staff know their regulars. If you're a new customer they ask if you need anything additional and look forward to seeing you again. Must be the nice side of New York ;-)

Best NY style slice in the area. Large, floppy but still crisp crust, melty cheese but not too heavy on the cheese.

They keep precooked pizza under the counter...and when you order they pull it and put it in the oven. Not the most sanitary idea.

Pizza is pretty damn good. Being from New York I like a crisper under crust. I like to fold my slice without it being floppy! But never the taste is on point!

I'm from New Jersey (so I'm picky about my pizza) and this is the best I've found in the area. Their plain and pepperoni pies are the most similar to new yrk style. This is my go to pizza place!

As soon as you walk through the door, it smells like heaven on earth. The service is amazingly kind. She helped us through options even recommended a very delicious sub. We had an amazing conversation while we waited for the food. Learning about history and how this place is not just a mind blowing tasteful food but also a special place for many people that have come by for generations.

We’re new to the area, and we drove by and decided to try the pizza. WOW, it was amazing! The sauce is delicious! Our son normally doesn’t even like pizza, and he was asking “When can we get that pizza again?” ! This time, we tried the cheesesteaks… WOWWW! The chicken cheesesteak is the best I’ve had in my life!! YUM this place is the real deal! 10/10!

Whenever we get pizza in the area, we get Gianni's! Their pizza and subs are all incredibly tasty, plus they have gluten-free pizza dough. Even with that, what really keeps our family coming back in the small-town feel that they've created. The owner seems to always be there and is always engaged with the customers, creating a very unique experience in today's market. My kids have grown to adore him, and that is worth more to me than pretty much anything. They really are doing something special here!

Only avg. Pizza/ cheesesteak okay, way heavy with mayo, did the scrape off. Just a bit disappointed, will still go back. Anyone can have an off day

Absolutely delicious! Definitely price is worth the food and it is reasonable for a home made pizza. Got the medium NY style with bacon and black olives. It was perfect for two big eaters.

This is our FAVORITE pizza place, and we don’t say that lightly. We absolutely love pizza & look for the best places when go to a new area. Gianni’s is that place for us in Maryland! I get so excited to visit MD just for Gianni’s. It’s the best pizza we have ever had & i hope that never changes (we just get a regular ole pepperoni pizza).

I'm searching for the best NY Style pizza between DC and Baltimore. This shop was next. While the toppings are fresh and very tasty, this simply is not ny style pizza. For reverence, my measuring stick is Joe's Pizza in Manhattan, or Andy's Pizza in DC. Ny- style pizza has an ultra thin crust. Giannini's crust is at best regular hand tossed, but gives pre-made vibes. Despite the disappointing crust, I may return to try the subs. Again, pizza toppings were fresh and yummy, just the crust itself was not good.

Man, this pizza is growing on me every time I go. Probably my favorite pizza in Maryland at this point.

There was a mix up with my order so when I arrived with my starving toddlers waiting in the car they said it would be another 10 minutes. While this was unfortunate they took care of my kids by giving them each a slice and a drink while we waited. Being from NJ it's hard to find pizza that tastes just as good as NJ and NY style, but Gianni's has nailed it and we couldn't be happier to order from them whenever we want pizza!

One of the great pizza area we have in Maryland. The staff is nice and reasonable price. They have single slices or whole pies. This is mostly preference but the pizza is way better when it is cooked well done or longer. You have to request it to get it done. I love Azzi who makes the dough and prep food in the back! Super chill and nice guy.

Was visiting my son for the weekend from VA. Beach, he wanted me to goto one of his favorite places. Great food and extremely polite staff!

A knock out of the park! Wow! I looked up this place on a whim because I was in the mood for pizza and the last pizza place I went to in the area wasn't very good. The cheese to crust, sauce, and pepperoni ratio were perfect. I ordered a NY Style 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni. Nothing beats a family owned pizza place but Gianni's s the best I've had! Thank you guys so much for an awesome pizza.

Decent pizza and nice staff. I don’t know what happened, but the pizza used to taste better.

The food here is really good and I will give it between a four and five stars. However they do not practice safe handling of food in terms of the time we live in. They should be wearing gloves when in a kitchen making the food. I see the guys touch pizza and subs with their bare hands when it's in the oven when they're positioning it or turning it around. This may have been okay back in the day but this is no longer acceptable again living in a times of COVID. I hope that the management sees this review and decides to implement a stricter protocol when it comes to cleanliness. Just refuse not meant to be a slight to the restaurant because I like the food like the people but it's just time to handle customer food differently. I've been waiting for the change but it never came and again this is why I am leaving this review.

I got the Godfather specialty pizza 16”, one would think for 20 bucks the cheese wouldn’t just slide off every slice. Toppings weren’t even cooked. Are they tryna reinvent pizza??
