Gianorio's Pizza in Winfield - Phone Number, Reservations, Reviews

I consider myself a pizza addict always looking for the perfect pizza. This place almost hits all of the right buttons. Their sausage is the best I’ve had west of Chicago by far! The fennel induced sausage is full of flavor. The sauce has that basic Italian tomato flavor that you are looking for. I’m not sure about the cheese but if I was to guess it hails from Wisconsin as it has the right pull and flavor. Crust has a good crunch and chew. I’ll be back many many times!!!!!

For close to 20yrs. Friday night at Moms was Gianorio's pizza in Glendale Heights. Never got old and was never bad. They closed in G.H. so for years I was always looking for a place to be that place. Now years later with a search for DuPage Co. Best pizza there was Gianorio's in Winfield. Same family! Tonight we ordered. 1 bite and all other places no longer matter! This is the best pizza period. It always has been.

First time trying it, one of the best pizza's I've had in a long time. My wife had the gluten free and also really liked it. Will definitely be back.

My new favorite pizza place! The pizza is so so good! Love the fact that they have many different crust thickness options. Have not tried other items on the menu besides pizza, but cannot wait to do so. They have quite a few dessert choices in their refrigerated cases. The tiramisu is light and yummy. Buying canoli each time I visit is an absolute must! Their canoli is the real authentic deal. You know they are freshly made since the shell is never soggy. If you are a canoli lover like I am, you will be in heaven eating theirs! This is a take-out establishment (no dining-in) and is located in a strip mall, but they have plenty of parking.

We’ve been ordering pizza from this pizza parlor for 30 years. Never had any pizza that compares! We use to live in Winfield but now drive 45 minutes to get their pizza! Love it!

I can't possibly say enough about Gianorio's pizza.This is the best pizza I have ever had in my 73 years, and I've had a lot. I make my own and can't duplicate it. YOU CAN'T LOSE. They're only open 4 hours a day Wed. through Sun. They don't deliver- they don't have to and can't keep up with the demand they get. There are two of them, the best of which is in Winfield Illinois, the other is in Lombard Illinois. Their deserts are also some of the best we've EVER had. "Get some" is all I can say.

I am 50 years old and about 40 of those years I have lived in the Chicago suburbs. It goes without saying that I have eaten a lot of pizza! I have tried all the "best" pizza places around. I know some like thin crust, or thick crust, stuffed or even pan pizza, they are all good, right!!?? Well, this place is one of my favorites, if not my favorite. The crust isn't thin, nor is it what I call thick. What it is is crunchy and delicious! The sausage has an old-time flavor that is unmatched. If you live anywhere close to this place( and I mean within 30 min drive), and you love pizza, you MUST give this place a try. So, so good.....

How am I just finding this place? The business runs like a well oiled machine. The pizzas are loaded with ingredients and are very tasty. I ordered a 10 inch stuffed pizza and was full after eating one slice. This has never happened to me before it was crazy heavy! Staff was super friendly and food was ready on time. They have great desserts too. Definitely going back

We catered here for a party and the food quality was so good! The cheese taste like real cheese, the Italian beef was legit. I would totally recommend this place and am excited to go back!

Best pizza in the area. So good that they are only open about 5 or 6 hours per day. I've never gone in there to pick up a pizza without another customer in front of me and another behind as im leaving. They even take a vacation where the store is closed every year. You can do that when you have a great product that sells.

We've been picking up from here for 5+ years and used to go here all the time when we lived in West Chicago and only go slightly less now that we live in Saint Charles. Originally got turned onto Gianorio's in Lombard by a family member, but found Winfield location that is run by his sisters. We come all the way from South Elgin. Best pizza I've ever had and I've had a LOT of pizza! Have only had their traditional thin crust so that's all I can speak for, but the crust, sauce and cheese are all unlike anywhere else. Top quality ingredients throughout. Their desserts that come from the Gianorio's Deli in downtown Winfield are also out of this world. What kind of pizzeria can be closed on Monday and Tuesday, not open till 4pm, carry-out only with no delivery and still survive for all these years?? IT MUST BE GOOD!!!
