Fantastic food. Perfect lunch spot. Best hidden gem in Mandeville.

The only thing they need here is more customers! A little hard to see from the road (because they actually have their own parking), are some of the best sandwiches in town. The owner was behind the counter, running everything and making the food. Custom sandwiches, unique and tasty salads, and some incredible desserts. And many locally sourced and made food items you can take with you. Next time you’re in the area, give this place a shot, you won’t be disappointed.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the fried bologna sandwich and the turkey avocado BLT. Great little sandwich shop...will definitely be back!

Friendly service and delicious food! My husband and I were looking for something to eat before we biked the Trace. My husband had the Italian panini, and I had the chicken salad sandwich - both were delicious! We didn't even think to take a picture for the review because we just kept eating! We will be back!

Took a quick trip to Mandeville while visiting NOLA and stumbled onto Girod Street Market and Deli. What a jewel! Loved everything we order it was made fresh and delicious. Even took home some tomato/bacon jam for my sandwiches. So GOOD! I visit NOLA 3 or 4 times a year and will definitely make this a must.

It’s the sandwich shop I’ve been searching for. The perfect casual lunch spot. Quick & simple but still so flavorful and delicious - the high quality ingredients used are evident from the first bite. Stop in for a sandwich & you won’t be disappointed. We had the Italian Panini and the Grilled Cheese. I will definitely be back & hopefully sooner rather than later.

Amazing Arnold palmers and little quiches. Menu changes a lot so there’s always something yummy to try! Girod himself makes you feel like family and even let us try something on the house. Only wished I didn’t have to fly home so I could take the jam with me.

Wow….These sandwiches **chef kiss** I had the roast beef and it was the perfect mix of sweet, salty, and savory. The BLT was light, airy and filling. Bread is soft as a pillow. The chef/owner truly creates an elevated version of your favorite classic sandwich. Stopped in on a whim and so glad I did! 10/10 would eat again.

The lunches here are very good and quality of food is excellent. The business owner is often slammed with orders so I always call in ahead for pickup to make it easier. Also, my wife and I have had Colin, the proprietor, cater events for us and the dishes are 5-Star restaurant level. We even had him come to our house and cook for a private event. Definitely worth it!

Used Girod's for our wedding catering! Nothing but delicious everything! Nothing but high compliments over the food! Professional and accommodating.

We had the crab cakes and we were very pleased. The crab cakes are full of crab meat, as a crab cake should be. But also, the crab cake was perfectly seasoned and had a perfect ratio of bread crumbs. Returning to try the crab cheesecake.

Audibly gasped and said "Damn" after my first bite. Talk about hitting the spot. I hate that I waited as long as I did to try this place! Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu!

I absolutely love this place. It’s my go to spot for dips to bring to parties and such. I’ve also had a couple of the sandwiches, and they were phenomenal. The store also carries an assortment of locally made foods. The owner is a really nice guy.

The sandwiches here are amazing. I got the Italian ciabatta and the pimento cheese. The homemade pimento cheese is fabulous! I wish I had bought some to take back to nola with us. The owner is friendly and his mothers desserts are extraordinary! If I could rate 10 stars I would!!!

Accidentally, found this little gem today and I’m so glad I did. I had the roast beef wrap and hands down best wrap I ever had! My wife had the chicken salad and said it was amazing. She also had the crab stuffed mushroom. Which she said was perfect and I had alligator pie and it was perfect. Try this place you will not be disappointed!!!!!!!

5 stars is an understatement. Made fresh when you order,unique sauces and flavors make this standout. We ordered the turkey and brie sandwich and the roast beef cabbage and horseradish wrap and the million dollar dip. Can't wait to try his other items. Thanks Colin for a great lunch.

Have had items from the Deli and will continue to patronize this place. Great sandwiches, snacks, meals, and extras. The chef owner is friendly and makes tasty items for sale. I've had most of the sandwiches and all of them have been fantastic. Ask for the off the menu club sandwiche and thank me later.

Went here for the first time tonight. Service was very friendly, and the shrimp bisque and hummus were great! Can’t wait to come back and try more things.
