I'm so glad I finally got to check out this place. The owners are delightful. The coffee is delicious. I had both the regular coffee and the Ethiopian coffee (I may be a little wired as I write this review). The flavor is so good that you don't need to add anything to it. The food is delicious and flavorful. I got a combo which has several vegetable dishes along with one meat one. I'm still really amazed with how flavorful the vegetables were. It's a lot of food as well, probably enough for 3 meals, or to share with others. This will become my regular Ethiopian cafe. Looking forward to the next time!

Delightfully small restaurant. The staff/owners are phenomenally nice, friendly & welcoming. The food is delicious!!! Definitely get a coffee too... Roasted locally!!

I wish I had a picture, but it wouldn't do the food justice. This place has delicious and well priced Habasha food. I like their vegetarian combo with the awaze tibis beef or lamb! The vegetarian combo is nice here because it comes with beets. I haven't seen another place have that. The Gola hot tea is very good too. It's basically like a herbal tea that's really good with sugar. Its similar to chai but more herbal with cinnamon I think. And their chai tea latte here is the best I've ever had. I'll definitely come here from now on for my chai tea! The ladies here are always very kind too. ❤️

Hidden Gem.  We liked both of our meals so much we ordered another plate of food to-go for tomorrow.  The best Ethiopian restaurant we have visited.  On top of great food, the prices were very reasonable and the service was great.

Vegetarian platter, especially the red lentils, is absolutely delicious! The coffee is fantastic too because they roast their own coffee beans. I also enjoy the refreshing iced ginger tea. Staff is friendly and they were able to make some customizations for me.

This is a quiet little spot to enjoy some delicious Ethiopian fare! The chicken doro wot and beef and vegan plates were all very tasty as was the injera. The owners are also incredibly kind and went out of their way to bring off-menu items for my youngest two picky eaters. So sweet and a level of care that one doesn’t encounter often. If we are visiting this area again we will be back!

This is a little gem in an industrial park, best Ethiopian food and best coffee ceremony in the area.

My gf and I ate here Memorial day. I searched out vegan/vegan friendly restaurants and this was one that came up along our way. It says restaurant and market but it's more of a restaurant with just a small selection of what looked like African grocery items. The ladies who ran the restaurant were very friendly and eager to answer all my curiosities. Being that I am new to African food it was tasty and served quickly and healthy to boot as being made from whole foods. Also the amount you get was a lot! While even eating I chatted with the lady about the food and interesting information about her home county of Ethiopia. She was very friendly and sociable. We were almost the only ones in the restaurant at the time as the lady said covid and even afterwards the business had been slow to rebound. Although, it really is a hidden gem as it's actually in an industrial park but not hard to get to.

This little hidden gem is a must try location for fresh, tasty vegan options. The owner is pleasant and friendly. We ordered the vegan platter and were not disappointed the generous portion and the good taste was on the spot. Their tea and coffee are equally as good. I had the ginger tea and loved it!! The atmosphere was relaxing and the place was clean. I recommend you visit this restaurant if you are looking a refreshing experience.

This place is definitely a HIDDEN GEM. Got the vegetarian combo, and was so pleased! Everything was so good, and the greeeeens. Chile, they were smackin’ So happy to have such a delicious Ethiopian spot close to White Oak. I will definitely become a regular here.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. HIDDEN GEM. Fantastic food and service from Saba today. This place is simple fantastic, and happens to be VEGAN AND GLUTEN FREE. Don't be fooled by that though - it is truly delicious and worth your time. They offer tremendous Ethiopian food. We ordered their vegan Injera dishes: there were lovely lentil, split pea, spinach, beetroot, potato, and cabbage stews. Really healthy and delicious. SUPPORT THIS PLACE - THEY DESERVE IT Thank you so much for our delicious food today and showing me the lovely spices (they have a small grocery section). We will be back soon. Amazing Ethiopian food so close to White Oak I’m excited they’re open now... hated the drive to downtown to have Ethiopian. Not no more. I would’ve posted pictures of the tibs firfir but I don’t want Google to have access to my gallery, I don’t know them like that lol... but great food great service great location.
