Came out for Father’s Day celebration with in laws and this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Counter person was stellar and even helped deliver our large order outside. Burgers were absolutely delicious, waffle fries cooked crispy and perfect. If I wasn’t stuffed I would have ordered one for the drive home! Will certainly be back any time I am in the area, big thanks again to the entire crew!!!

I came in for the first time today, and the food was delicious! I gotta say tho, I wish the menu was easier to see see/read. You gotta get really close up. The burgers here were juicy and full of flavor and the fries were the best sweet potatoes I’ve had in a while. I gotta say, best fried in Newington for sure! 10/10, I'm definitely coming back, I’m washer to try the rest of their unique menu :)

My granddaughters loved it. For me, it's overpriced. $4 for a 10 oz. bottle of coke is not for me.

I’ll be honest I was not impressed with our food we had the bacon burger with the egg and although it was okay it did not wow me and it was under cooked mine was even dripping some blood out with grossed me out I forgot to take a picture, our fries were good but way too salty and the mac n cheese bites were okay the actually Mac n cheese lacked flavor and the dipping sauce was not my favorite it was spicy! $50 for two burgers, fries, Mac n cheese bites and one soda seems a little pricey. I will say the staff is very kind and attentive but I probably won’t visit again!

I love the food there but I always feel like they don’t want me there . Some of the workers give me dirty looks like why are you here and the person that gave me my food made me feel like she was rushing me out . I've been hearing great things about this place so I had to try it, right in my childhood stomping grounds. I literally ran into, a few kids, on my way in. 45 years ago, they would have been me. I checked out the menu on the wall and it was a little overwhelming, so I got a menu and sat down. Lots of burger options, lots! Also, hot dogs, sausage, and chicken onions. I ended up going with their flagship goldburger, I substituted the potato chips on the burger with fried onion strings. The roll was firm enough and covered in sesame seeds, I loved it. With my first bite I realized that the awesome topping options are almost irrelevant, the burger was big, juicy, and very tasty. Also, great waffle fries. I think you'll enjoy every burger choice regardless of your toppings choice, the gold is in the burger 🍔, very juicy and tasty! You have to try, you'll be back for seconds and thirds.

I was very satisfied with my experience. Very versatile menu. Prices are respectable. Chill atmosphere gives off urban southeast vibes. It’s a good place for takeout, a lunch break and a casual spot for a date. If it’s busy you might wait a little bit, but i would have waited a lot longer for the food. Burgers are of highest quality. Mac and Cheese bites. That signature sauce is really good. The “Crouchdog” hot dog was an interesting option that was actually really good. I like that they have falafel on the menu.

Ordered a Goldburger and although I know this is a scratch kitchen I was not impressed. Burger was overcooked and dry, lettuce was beyond dead and bun was soggy soggy. For$10+ I will go elsewhere.

My favorite place in all of Newington, in fact the ONLY place to get the best chicken burger in all CT. I recommend Goldburgers to everyone, even asking for a chicken coop a week for 20 weeks until I gave birth to our third. Their food is fantastic, atmosphere is great, and the staff is fantastic. Chicken coop- sub American cheese- add frizzies and a runny egg. Your welcome. Also, they have the best fries.

My experience at GoldBurgers was exceptional in many ways. Once you enter the store you get that nostalgic feeling as if you entered a space in time and have gone to a classic burger place of your childhood. I order the Bacon, Egg, and Cheese burger, Blue and Gold Burger, Large Fry and Drink. Everything was incredible. The only thing I was bummed about was the price of price of fries. I paid $10 to add a large fry and Drink with my meal. So if I was eating a large meal for myself, it would be $21 for a combo. That’s a pretty steep price, so when I come back I think I’ll just get a burger on its own.

The food was good. The server if the owner needs to understand the value of a costumer. It's not just food for money. The need to be more welcoming and glad that people will purchase what they are providing. People want to be treated with polite and respectful discourse if you want their money. They need to be more friendly and welcoming to ALL their customers.

GoldBurgers continues to have the best burgers around. They have a wide variety of creative combinations that are all delicious. They primarily do take out business, but there are some small tables if you wish to dine in. When the weather is nice they have a couple of small tables out front as well. Keep in mind most of the parking is in the lot behind the restaurant since there is a very limited number of street parking spaces in front.

This is now the second time I have been given the wrong order. Tonight, I am working until 9 p.m. tonight. Had food delivered through GrubHub and when the burger arrived it was the wrong one....again!

I'm a sucker for a good hot dog and GoldBurgers doesn't disappoint. Whenever I'm within 15 miles of Newington I have to go to GoldBurgers. Try the dogs or anything else that strikes your fancy. It's ALL good.

Food is good the chicken coop is my fav and the wife loves the sausage and peppers burger. Over all a good place if you don’t want to cook. Order ahead is about a 15 to 20 min wait, friendly workers and get the pickles a must have.

GoldBurgers in Newington was great for lunch. Friendly service. Bacon Runny Egg Cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and served hot. A real hamburger taste in every bite. Birch Beer tasted fresh. It is a bit pricey for a hamburger ... but it was filling and really tasted good. You got all flavorels from crunchy bacon, over easy egg and two hamburgers. Parking is limited in front but has a large parking lot in the back. Worth a visit.

Goldburgers is my go-to place when I want a quality burger. It is a small restaurant, but there are a few outside tables, which is nice. The prices are reasonable. The staff is friendly. Usually once we place our order, we go to a table and a staff member brings the food to our table. The burgers come with sesame seeds, which some people don't care for, but there is a potato bun option which is good. The burger will come as a double patty unless you specify you want the single. There are delightful Rice Krispie treats by the register that I recommend as a dessert. I think this place has The Greatest Sweet Potato fries around... The only knock on this place is seeing political/social signs displayed in front. I prefer places I do business with stick to business at hand (making great food & providing quality service) and not get involved with divisive issues. I like to dine in peace and leave the troubles of the world elsewhere. It may just be me, but I highly doubt it.
