This is such a charming shop/restaurant. I am really into loose tea to heal all my ailments. The owner is so knowledgeable and helpful and the food is very tasty. I highly recommend.

Delicious lunch and delicious tea

It is always such a pleasure to walk in, sit down, enjoy a nice lunch with a friend, and be able to hear one another. Very pleasant atmosphere.

We stopped by after unloading for our son's dorm room. The reviews sold us then Samantha got us all our drinks then our food. It was all really good and she had great suggestions and recommendations. We will defintely visit anytime we come down.

I absolutely loved Golden Leaves! I went in for tea and a bite to eat, and it was wonderful. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the owner was an absolute delight! The stop by to Golden Leaves made my day, and I highly recommend it for any tea lovers!

Golden Leaves is such a lovely shop and hidden gem. I have hosted a low tea for a bridal luncheon and it was unforgettable. The food is wonderful, and I will not buy tea from anywhere else. It is the freshest loose leaf tea I have had! If you are looking for a place to celebrate, or have breakfast or lunch with a friend, or need to feed your loose leaf tea obsession, this is your place.

Golden Leaves at the Richmond Mall has an amazing selection of teas and soap, as well as other products. I highly recommend the mystery bag of soap. I enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly service. I will most definitely visit this store again very soon.

Golden leaves has clean, well made soaps, candles and bath products and great food with great ingredients. The tea is high quality and the service is personalized. Golden Leaves cares about being non toxic and taking care of yourself and others for a healthier more compassionate world. Great place for a party or private event, lunch, or just shopping for safe products for the entire family. This is our favorite place.

Golden Leaves catered a ladies retreat I attended. The food was delicious, fresh, tasty and they made some great vegetarian options that supported my food allergies. I spoke to locals and they testified to the service and atmosphere. Yum!! Highly recommend!

One of my favorite local businesses, in general, as well as Richmond! The cafe side has a large variety of teas for people to try as well as some nice food options and well made coffee (for the coffee lovers, like myself!) The bath and body side is also really nice. There is a wide variety of products for people to use (for both men and women). They also release seasonal products along with their typical line of products to keep things new and refreshed! As a guy, I also really appreciate their line of beard care products. I'm extremely particular about beard products and they did a great job synthesizing blends of needed oils that a guy would need (like jojoba oil), as well as avoiding any of the bad ingredients (like water) found in some commercial beard oils. So if you're looking for any local beard care products for your man (or yourself), I highly suggest looking into their selection.

Enjoyed having an afternoon tea! The sandwiches and pastries were delicious and there was an excellent selection of tea. I will definitely be back!

My wife and I were so surprised by this place! The store front was packed with all kinds of teas and the like and the dining area was directly behind that and it was beautiful!!! The lady that was working made us both delicious drinks after recommending the special for me (a watermelon lime basil drink) and an oat milk chai for my wife. My wife had the vegan bagel sandwich and the vegetables were incredibly crispy and the bagel was perfect. I forgot the name of my sandwich but it had pimento cheese and ham and was also great. We will definitely be back! I highly recommend it. Don't let the mall fool you, it's worth it.

Unique spot hidden in the Richmond Mall. Primarily a place for tea, they serve a few specialty coffees and good breakfast sandwiches. Have a modest comfortable dining area in the back portion.

Step into Golden Leaves tea shop, where magic awaits. Try their Dragon's Blood color-changing lemonade tea—an enchanting brew that shifts from fiery red to royal purple as you pour. With a refreshing citrusy tang and herbal notes, it was so good! They also sell candles, body scrubs, soaps, tea accessories and more. I also bought a few teas I could steep at home :)

The food and tea are so good! I have also used the candles and they are well worth the money. The staff are extremely nice and the store is always clean. The owner, Sam, is a wonderful person to chat with also.

Love this tea shop and the all the cute soaps and such that they have at their store. The workers are fantastic and the tea is yummy! Have not eaten there yet, but the menu looks good. Just wish they stay opened later.

Awesome place, knowledgeable and friendly even though they were short staffed. I’m picky about smells but everything here smelled soo good!

Single owner small business situated in a newly refurbished shopping mall. Scented soaps, candles and other aromatherapy items handmade in store. Great assortment of herbal and other teas, along with coffee and baked goods. Very pleasant environment reminiscent of a Paris bistro with a quiet sitting/ dining area. Very friendly service offering pastries or a small lunch menu with daily specials. There are plenty of shoppes to peak your curiosity within the mall, but the ethereal nature of this store sets it apart as whimsical, mystical and soothing to the outside clutter of traffic and the daily routine

Absolutely fantastic. This is the only place with matcha tea that I like. Great for lunch, especially their sandwiches. I love their pastries, too! I'm also on my way to joining their World Tea Club! Also, SOAP

Golden Leaves is one of my favorite places in Richmond. I have food allergies and intolerances and Richmond is not a very friendly place for that. Golden Leaves will make anything I ask them to and will do their best to create allergen friendly versions of anything they can for me. I am so grateful for a business that understands food allergies. I added photos of some of the dairy free items she’s made for me. Amazing!!!

I got an iced Matcha and it was so good! Truly the best one I've had! Definitely better than starbucks! Plus the atmosphere was great, and the workers are so cool to talk to and so knowledgeable! Definitely going back there!

The atmosphere is so warm and inviting. The manager is so informative on the healing properties of the plants used in her teas. The Calypso and Bourbon tea as of right now is my favorite. Can't wait to try the other varieties! See you soon!

Very pleasant, fun atmosphere and the manager seemed very knowledgeable about the many teas available. The tomato soup and salad that I had with the White Rabbit (Chai) were fresh and flavorful.

I love their teas! Great atmosphere. If you love tea and you are in Richmond, you must visit GL at the old Richmond Mall.

The tea is natural and brewed to a point that brings out all the flavor. A place I’ll be going to again
