The food by itself was tasty enough for a 5 star rating, but the service was beyond amazing! Would give this place 10 stars if I could. My Aunt and I are going to visit this place again very soon 😊 Definitely recommend.

Went here w my husband and a baby in my belly- let me just say this woman made us feel so loved and cared for like no other place we’ve been to! She fulfilled every ounce of craving i had and made sure i left with a full baby! In addition, everything is home grown and made from scratch with love. Truly love our new spot AND our new auntie.

I have never entered a restaurant and been greeted with such warmth, kindness, and hospitality so instantaneously. During my meal the lady running the place by herself (as far as I could tell) shared that she had a customer who had been coming to the restaurant every chance he got for almost a decade and I can totally see why. I’m neither vegetarian nor vegan so I rarely seek out establishments like this. I highly reccommend to anyone of any diet. The samosas were delicious, the watermelon drink was refreshing and the lunch plate was so diverse in color, flavor, and texture—I’ve never had a meal like it. It was both a meal and an experience. Highly recommend!! You might even leave with a necklace of flowers.

But also, the owner Maharani is super heartwarming, funny, and we had great conversation instead of me eating alone. She takes care of her guests, she genuinely wanted me to feel good and fed. Came here for the first time and immediately greeted with kindness and knowledge about the food. I had the lunch meal, cookies, lavender cake and loved every bit of it! Felt like I was eating at mom’s house. Can’t wait to come back for more💖

Sweet and cozy place! A great "retreat" to sit down and be warmed by the innocent atmosphere. Great vegetarian Indian food and even comfort foods that you wouldn't believe are made without non-veg! Searched online for vegan options in the area and Good Karma popped up. Staff was very friendly and the owner Ms. Maharishi is like your auntie who is cooking for you. I enjoyed the meal and ordered an additional entree for tomorrow. Healthy food from scratch. Highly recommend.

I ordered two birthday cakes for my son 2nd birthday, and let me tell you.. it was nothing short of amazing. Half of my family that came were not even vegan, but they loved the cakes and rated them a 10/10. One of them was a vanilla cake with strawberry filling, and the other was Italian butter cream. Surata was super nice even though my order was last minute. I was so amazed with her work and the flavors. I definitely will be ordering for every birthday.

This restaurant has great customer service and a lovely atmosphere however the food is lackluster. I had the lunch special with a slice of Italian wedding cake with the samosas which was cold, tasted old, and lacked flavor. I’m disappointed. Vegans/ vegetarians don’t waste your time money or tastebuds on this place you will regret it.

I absolutely loved this place! The only place in the area I could find vegan/vegetarian options and the food was delicious! The owner has the best personality and amazing energy. During my visit to Gulfport, it was the only place I went to for dinner and I can’t wait to come back! Definitely give this place a try along with their lavender cake and cinnamon cold tea :)

First time trying Good Karma, and I have got to say I fell in love with this cuisine bite after bite! You have got to order the potato samosa! It’s so flavorful and full of tasty spices, topped with fresh tomato chutney, absolutely amazing!! The plate lunch is the perfect balance of spice, savoriness, wholesomeness and sweetness! You get a little of everything but I could absolutely eat the salad alone, it’s so fresh with a perfect, light dressing. The meal is perfectly balanced with hand crafted ,hot cinnamon ,spiced tea, as well as a comforting bowl of Dahl lentil stew, fresh and yummy curried vegetables! You will leave feeling so satisfied and fulfilled! Maharani is delightful and really puts so much love and positive energy into the foods she prepares! Thank you Maharani! ❤️🙏🏻

This is a very nice restaurant. Food is delicious but it’s way high priced. Staff is very nice. It’s not worth the $15 a plate. Plus they charge you high price for extra sides. If you like vegan/vegetarian it is good here.

The food is incredibly fresh and unique with colorful flavors. My kids are picky eaters, but they cleared thier plates! We ate until we were full, but the food is so wholesome, it was light on our stomachs. We felt the nutrition as we were eating the gluten free, vegan variety of foods. The owner is the sweetest woman! We could tell that she made her food with love. This was the best experience we have had in all of Mississippi! 10 stars if we could!

@goodkarmacafe has fabulous and absolutely delicious vegan food with an Indian theme. Last night, the theme was Malaysian! They also have a phenomenal vegan mini bakery that includes various cakes and chocolate chip cookies. Go there!

Good Karma cafe Restaurant has to have the first place as my favorite place to eat. Seriously, rarely choice, quality and the total commitment of the management to drive the vegan/vegetarian cause by simply offering you a great meal. We recently had the pleasure of dining at a Good Karma Restaurant. It's a fantastic vegetarian/vegan-friendly restaurant and I cannot recommend it highly enough! First and foremost, the food was delicious. We had Salad, Soup, Baked samosa, Naan, a Good Karma plate, Ramen, a Good Karm bowl, and Herbal Tea. Every dish was bursting with flavor and expertly crafted. You can tell The restaurant's commitment to use fresh, seasonal ingredients shine through in every bite.👌 The menu was impressively varied, with plenty of options for different dietary restrictions and preferences. Whether you're a longtime vegan or just trying to eat more plant-based meals, there's something for everyone here. Beyond the food, the service was outstanding. Chef and Sophia were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu offering helpful suggestions and answering all our questions. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and peaceful. Hindu God, Goddess decor, the unique fragrance of incense, and Krishna Songs in the background made us feel right at home.🪷 They have special items on sale as well like Homemade Ghee, Honey, Tincture, and many more. Wow! This place is a hidden gem! We stopped in for lunch. Had the refreshing cinnamon iced tea. Lunch plate consisted of pea/ cabbage soup, (delicious) basmati rice, assorted cooked veggies and an amazing oatmeal chocolate chip cookie! The family that runs it were so gracious ! He gave us a piece of chocolate cake for the road. Highly recommend!!!

A calm, serene place to have a healthy and delicious meal. The staff is friendly and patient in explaining the menu. The chef came to talk and suggest the food items. It is a healthy twist to Indian Malaysian cuisine. The food was yummilicous and cost effective. The caffeine free tea was a welcoming surprise. That is the word I used for them, the whole experience to get a soup, tea, food and then cookie in Gulfport was a pleasant surprise. Being a vegetarian, I was ready to munch on salad in this sea food city. A must go place if you visit Gulfport, for the experience and food. My body said thank you to me after I had this meal. It was so comforting and warm.

I wish it was a button for no stars. My son and my sister and I went to this restaurant a couple of weeks ago. First things first the lady working there offended me. I kept telling my son to come near me so I can keep an eye on him. The lady said “Oh he’s ok I’ll just keep him and make him my slave forever”. Excuse me ? She smiled as if it were a joke I didn’t find anything funny! The food is terrible!

Adorable little restaurant with a full vegetarian menu, which is refreshing to see in southern Mississippi! Don't skip over this place if you're a carnivore, their food will not disappoint and the prices are perfect to match. I got the lunch special for $13, which came with a hot or cold tea, soup (dahl), salad, curried vegetables, rice, naan bread, a type of bean cracker, chutney, quinoa, and more!!! It sounds like a lot but the portions of each are small but plenty enough to get a taste for each flavor in every bite. The woman who runs the restaurant is so friendly and wants to make sure you get what you came for. Highly recommend eating here and supporting this business!

She even gave my wife a dress to wear for her pop-up restaurant in BSL, which was also amazing and a lot of fun. Can't wait to go back and try different things.

I reached out to Good Karma with an extremely last minute request for a gluten and dairy free cake. Every person I spoke with was very kind working to help me. In less than 24 hours I picked up a gorgeous cake. Our guests were thrilled! Not only because there was a dessert specifically for their dietary needs, but because it was also delicious. I am so thankful they were willing to help and make our celebration that much more special. Thank you - Good Karma staff and ownership - you will never know how much this meant.

I had the tacos and the lavender cake…. Everything was sooo good. Sophia our server was so nice and patient. Explained everything to us and verified what was in the food due to food allergies in our party. I would definitely eat here again. Top notch service.

Always a great experience and the food is always made fresh for us. I wouldn’t consider it traditional Indian food at all, but it’s a great fusion with Indian and Malaysian twists. They make sure to cook everything in a health conscious way and are super amazing about catering to certain diets (gluten free or allergies) we’ve also ordered whole vegan cakes for birthday parties that have always been a hit. The family is super nice to talk to and they even have an apothecary shelf.

Great food. Lunch, burger, or fried ramen were my favorites. I have tried almost every dish they offer, and all are great. The Dahl soup that comes with every meal is also a favorite. Staff are friendly and will accommodate requests. Don’t forget to get the cake and other things they might be selling like muffins or hot sauce.

We had dinner at good karma. We should’ve left as soon as we saw the unrefined simplicity. But the girl that started to serve us was sweet and friendly. We were also starving and didn’t want to be rude so we ordered dinner. The soup was terrible (no lentils but salty and watery), the salad was very simple with honey mustard dressing on it. The mustard seeds in samosa were not popped (still raw). The entrée had veggies and rice which I would say was somewhat decent. We are new to the area and I was craving Indian food. As a native Indian, I would have made the food thousand times better than the ones we got served. I do appreciate the fact that they were trying to be health conscious but I wouldn’t be paying that much for non-tasty food. I wish them well but I will never 👎 go there again.

Wonderful simple comfort food made by a kind person. Go for the kindness and good atmosphere and stay for the healthy food. It’s simple and nourishing, and sometimes. you can even have an extra bite of something you especially liked if you dine in!

Their soup of the day (I think it was split pea soup?) was heavenly! The Malaysian curry was amazing and the lavender cake was too perfect. All in all nice little vegetarian (mostly vegan) restaurant.

Indian influenced, but not your standard Indian restaurant. It's health food first... Whichever ethnic cuisine second. Really enjoyable though. They include soup, salad, tea (really tisane), and a cookie with your main course, so it really feels like a full family meal. Delicious all around, but you may need to come with an open mind.

Comfy delightful atmosphere. Delicious food... Samosas are tasty. Be careful you might drive past it it's a small building but worth looking for. Will return when we visit Mississippi again.

My wife and I visited the restaurant because she is vegan (plant-based) and we always look for a few spots that cater to her when we're on vacation. The location is small and homey. The owner was super nice, as was the waiter. This is a spot that the locals frequent. The lunch menu is the same menu she has been serving for 14yrs. I am not vegan but the food was good. The lentil soup was seasoned perfectly! The plate was a decent portion and the owner conversed with us during the meal. You can tell that she puts her heart into the food and it is a family-run business. This is a good inexpensive spot to get a good vegan meal.

I went in expecting an ok experience with vegetables and vegan food options and was absolutely delighte by every aspect of my visit. The store smelt of oddly named spices, the music was using words I can't comprehend and the decore was so bright and colorful it hurt my eyes. The food was so devoid of the usual toxins and garbage that i am used to i felt myself feeling better after each handfull i shoveled i to my gaping maw. 10/10. Great staff, great food, Good Karma.

Good Karma is SOOOOOOO delicious. Absolute best spot for vegan and vegetarian food on the coast. If it's your first time trying vegan this place will 100% turn you. The spices are perfect and all the flavors marry so well together. Great atmosphere too. I'll be returning frequently for sure.

Plate lunch was great, loved the soup. This was my first time at a vegan or Indian restaurant, early into trying to switch from a meat heavy diet to pescatarian or vegetarian. Friendly people, great food, the only thing that I didn’t care for was all utensils, cups, and plates are paper or plastic.

This vegetarian restaurant is not just for vegetarians (I am not) and the food is delicious, fresh and amazingly aromatic. This is definitely my to go place. The tea, lavender cake, spices used, aromas, etc are simply exquisite. The portions are just the perfect size for you to feel completely satisfied. No regrets whatsoever. I loved it 😊

Probably my #1 favorite place to fill my stomach. There isn't a single dish they make that I don't love. The food is very delicious and always cooked fresh. Extremely friendly staff and Owner. The Samosas are to die for. So be sure the get there early and snatch one up.

Me and my friend tried this for the first time for lunch. The service was great and the food was delicious (coming from a non-vegetarian). The ice cream was a little too icy for me, but it’s hard considering they don’t use cream or milk. A very nice restaurant to try out.

This was the first time I have eaten in vegeterian restaurant. The food was well prepared and the cuisine had quite an interesting flavor. I ordered the taco dish and it was as good as it looks. Also recommend the carrot cake! I would gladly go to this place again for another meal.
